ABOUT US:
AI NEEDS A NEW INFRASTRUCTURE LAYER. WE'RE BUILDING IT AT MODAL.
Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now.
Our customers include category-defining companies like Ramp https://modal.com/blog/how-ramp-built-a-full-context-background-coding-agent-on-modal, Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale.
We've passed $1B in annualized run rate, up 15x from a year ago. In October 2026 we raised a $750M Series D led by Accel at a $15.75B valuation.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON:
- Own customer contracting, including MSAs, service orders, NDAs, DPAs, and BAAs, negotiating directly with customers and partnering with the Sales team throughout the full deal cycle
- Lead vendor-side contracting, including capex procurement, SaaS tools, and consulting arrangements, among others
- Build and maintain contract repositories, template libraries, and contract playbooks
- Partner with Legal Operations on our CLM, including approval workflows and escalation logic
- Review and revise operational policies (terms of service, privacy policy, acceptable use, and website terms) and customer-facing marketing materials
YOU MAY BE A FIT IF:
- You have approximately 5-10 years of combined law firm and in-house experience negotiating commercial technology agreements, with meaningful time supporting an enterprise sales motion

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
As a manager of Applied AI Engineers for Anthropic's Megas segment, you will lead a team of deeply technical engineers embedded with our largest and most strategic accounts. These companies are partner-customers: they are among our biggest revenue drivers and also some of our most important go-to-market distribution channels. Each one consumes Claude to transform its own business and distributes Claude through its platforms and marketplaces. Your team works hands-on with their product and engineering organizations as they build on Claude: co-designing complex technical solutions, advising on architecture, developing evaluation frameworks, and guiding them through the most advanced implementation patterns for LLMs.
You will hire, coach, and grow this team while staying close enough to the technology to set a high bar for engineering judgment. Your engineers work in account-aligned pods alongside Applied AI Architects, and you'll partner closely with pod leads, Mega Sales, Partnerships, Product, and Research. You'll guide your team from technical discovery through production deployment, turn wins at one Mega into reference architectures and patterns that compound across the others, and channel Mega-driven requirements back into Anthropic's product and research roadmap, all while maintaining our high standards for safety and reliability. This is a fast-moving space at the frontier of what's possible with LLMs, and you'll help define how we scale technical impact across our most important relationships.
Responsibilities
Build, coach, and grow a team of Applied AI Engineers serving Mega accounts: hire strong technical builders, develop them through structured feedback and clear competency expectations, and create scalable onboarding for a customer-facing technical role.
Staff engineers into account-aligned pods alongside Applied AI Architects, balancing deep account continuity with flexibility to move expertise where the segment needs it most.
Set performance goals aligned with each Mega's technical account plan and the segment's consumption objectives, and establish the metrics, reporting cadence, and dashboards that keep pod leads and cross-functional stakeholders informed on team health and impact.
Serve as a senior technical advisor to Mega product and engineering leaders as they deploy production Claude workloads: guiding architecture design, evaluation strategy, and advanced prompting, agentic, and implementation patterns from discovery through deployment.
Lead hands-on co-build initiatives with Mega engineering teams, from prototypes and pilots to production deployments, in support of each account's joint roadmap with Anthropic.
Help navigate the partner-customer duality: support both direct consumption and the distribution of Claude through Mega platforms and marketplaces, and exercise sound judgment about what we build together and share.
Act as a technical escalation point for your team's accounts, and partner with pod leads and Mega Sales to sequence technical work for maximum customer value.
Build shared assets across pods, including reference architectures, agentic patterns, and eval frameworks, so that what one pod learns benefits every Mega account.
Collaborate with Product and Research to surface Mega-driven requirements with the right weight and context, advocating for high-impact product changes without becoming a feature-request pass-through.
Champion scalable public and internal assets documenting the latest LLM prompting, evaluation, agentic, and architecture techniques; contribute thought leadership through talks, blog posts, and white papers.
Maintain strong, current knowledge of LLM capabilities, implementation patterns, and the AI product development stack, and translate it into practical guidance for your team and customers.
Travel to customer sites for workshops, executive technical sessions, implementation support, and relationship building, and represent Anthropic at conferences and speaking engagements.
You may be a good fit if you have
6+ years of experience in technical roles such as Forward Deployed Engineer, Software Engineer, Solutions/Sales Engineer, or Technical Product Manager.
4+ years of experience operating in a formal leadership capacity, ideally with some tenure as a manager of managers/multiple teams. Former technical founders are also encouraged to apply.
Demonstrated success hiring, coaching, and scaling customer-facing technical teams, ideally in a fast-moving or hypergrowth environment.
Experience supporting large, named strategic accounts at a platform, infrastructure, or model company, ideally where the account was both a customer and a partner.
Production experience with LLMs, including advanced prompt engineering, agent development and frameworks, evaluation frameworks, transcript analysis, MCP, and deployment at scale, with the technical depth to set engineering standards and review your team's work credibly.
Strong programming skills with proficiency in Python or TypeScript and experience building production applications.
A track record engaging senior technical stakeholders (CTOs, CPOs, and engineering leaders) and influencing technical architecture and partner product roadmaps.
Experience working in or running mixed pre-sales and hands-on engineering teams (for example, SA + FDE or SE + delivery).
The ability to navigate ambiguity and execute across domains with intellectual openness, finding simple solutions to complex problems.
A high-cooperation mindset for cross-organizational collaboration across Sales, Partnerships, Product, and Research, balancing competing priorities with integrity.
Exceptional communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders while maintaining a low ego and collaborative approach.
Passion for advancing safe, beneficial AI systems through creative technical applications.
Strong candidates may also have
Background at a hyperscaler, foundation model lab, or large ISV in a strategic-accounts or alliances technical role.
Experience with marketplace, embed/OEM, or co-sell motions.
Prior forward-deployed engineering leadership.
Experience leading technical teams through periods of rapid scale, balancing immediate execution with durable, long-term architectural and platform decisions.
Experience coaching engineers from purely technical roles into customer-facing, advisory work.
Executive briefing and public speaking presence.
Deadline to apply
None. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

Cross-Functional Process & Project Support
Partner closely with Finance, Procurement, Legal, HR, IT, and other corporate functions to translate company-wide requirements into practical processes that appropriately support the needs of the business.
Partner with Finance and Procurement on the development and rollout of processes related to budgeting, forecasting, purchasing, vendor management, financial controls, and other requirements.

Workplace Services Programs
Build and oversee enterprise Workplace Services programs that support consistent, efficient operations across locations.

Partner with Procurement, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders to establish appropriate vendor strategies, contracts, budgets, controls, and service-level expectations for Workplace Services programs.
Develop enterprise playbooks and implementation standards for Workplace Services programs, providing clear direction to onsite Program Managers and local teams responsible for execution.
Monitor program performance, service quality, cost, compliance, and business needs across locations and continuously improve programs as the organization evolves.
Identify opportunities to standardize services, improve the employee experience, reduce operational friction, create efficiencies, and appropriately leverage enterprise scale.
Standards & Governance
Establish enterprise program management standards, methodologies, tools, templates, and expectations that the team can apply across the organization.
Develop and maintain standards for work management systems, ensuring information is structured consistently and provides meaningful visibility across projects, departments, and locations.
Partner with PMO to establish appropriate reporting standards, dashboards, KPIs, portfolio reporting, and operating reviews to provide visibility into business priorities, execution, risks, dependencies, and capacity.Establish effective meeting, communication, and operating rhythms, including portfolio reviews, leadership updates, cross-functional operating reviews, and escalation mechanisms.

What We’re Looking For
6+ years of experience in business operations, strategy and operations, program management, PMO operations, workplace operations, or a similar cross-functional role.
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing scalable operating processes across multiple teams, functions, or locations rather than simply administering existing processes.
Experience developing enterprise standards, operating procedures, governance frameworks, playbooks, taxonomies, documentation standards, and common ways of working.
Strong understanding of how business operations interact with Finance, Procurement, Legal, HR, IT, and other corporate support functions.
Experience translating corporate policies, controls, and functional requirements into practical operating processes that meet the needs of the business.
Experience building or managing shared operational or Workplace Services programs, such as fleet, transportation, food and beverage/culinary, uniforms, facilities-related services, or other enterprise services.
Strong program and project management capabilities, with experience establishing governance, accountability, reporting, and operating rhythms across complex organizations.
Experience with portfolio reporting, KPI development, dashboards, process documentation, and project/work management platforms.
Strong process-improvement mindset with the ability to identify root causes, simplify workflows, standardize where appropriate, and drive adoption of new ways of working.
Ability to influence and create accountability across teams without direct reporting authority.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear, executable processes.
Comfortable operating at both the strategic and detailed execution levels—able to design enterprise operating models and programs while remaining close enough to execution to ensure they work in practice.
PMP or equivalent project/program management certification preferred.

About the role
Anthropic is seeking a Senior Manager, M&A Finance Integration to run the finance function's role in each transaction, from LOI through Day 1 readiness and post-close execution, and to own the program management of Anthropic's growing legal entity footprint.
This is a build-and-run opportunity. Reporting to the Director, M&A Finance Integration, you will be the day-to-day operator of the M&A Finance Integration program: you will scope and drive the finance integration plan for each deal, coordinate finance workstreams alongside Corporate Development, Legal, and People, and be the connective tissue between deal teams and the functions that execute. You will also own the end-to-end legal entity lifecycle (setup, migration, and wind-down) for acquired entities and newly formed subsidiaries, and turn what we learn from every deal and legal entity set up into a maintained playbook and template library.
The ideal candidate has operated in a similar function at a high-growth technology company, brings enough accounting fluency to know when a closing spreadsheet or entity plan looks wrong, and thrives on building rigorous, repeatable processes while deals are live.
Key responsibilities
Deal Integration Planning & Execution
Scope and own the finance integration plan for each transaction across every phase, from LOI and due diligence through signing, sign-to-close, and Day 90, spanning finance functions
Tailor the plan to the integration model (full integration vs. standalone subsidiary) and define each function's baseline activities and standalone-specific deltas
Ensure every function is engaged at the right phase, with clear owners, dependencies, and escalation paths
Run the integration operating rhythm: workstream check-ins, issue logs, risk registers, RACI matrices, decision logs, and status reporting to finance leadership
Negotiate deliverables and trade-offs directly with functional leads; escalate to the Director with a recommendation when priorities conflict
Day 1 Readiness & Post-Close Execution
Drive Finance Day 1 readiness: bank account control and signers, payroll cutover, AP/AR continuity, ERP entity, cost-center and project-code setup, chart-of-accounts mapping, and expense policy communication
Run the Day 1 checklist and 30/60/90-day follow-through, ensuring acquired entities are onboarded without disruption to the close cycle
Coordinate the closing spreadsheet, net working capital mechanics, and post-close true-up with Corporate Development, Legal and Technical Accounting
Serve as a primary finance point of contact for the target's finance team and Corporate Development's integration lead during transition
Scope, track, and manage external advisor engagements and unblock issues as they arise
Stakeholder Management & Communication
Act as a credible counterpart to Corporate Development, finance functional leads, and target finance leadership on integration substance
Communicate integration and entity status to leadership through clear dashboards and written briefings
Mentor team members and contractors as the function grows
Handle confidential deal information with discipline
Legal Entity Lifecycle Program Management
Build and run the end-to-end entity setup process: decision documentation, incorporation, tax registrations, banking, ERP entity creation, functional-currency assessment, payroll or employer-of-record bridge, and statutory / compliance calendar onboarding, with a named owner for each step across US and international entities
Own the entity wind-down process, including customer and vendor off-boarding, final payroll and employee transfers, account closure, intercompany settlement, and final statutory filings, in partnership with Legal, Tax, and the involved finance functions
Design and maintain a single entity tracker with per-entity, per-workstream implications and status, aligned with adjacent entity programs (e.g., infrastructure and special-purpose entities) so they share one backbone
Playbook, Templates & Infrastructure
Build and own the Legal Entity Playbook: a repeatable, end-to-end framework covering entity formation, migration, and wind-down for acquired entities and newly formed subsidiaries in the US and internationally
Own and maintain sections of the modular M&A Finance Integration Playbook: per-function deliverables by phase, standard operating procedures, and the template library
Lead post-deal retrospectives and drive the resulting changes into the playbook and templates
Identify and implement tooling and automation, including AI-assisted solutions, for recurring program work such as status synthesis, tracker updates, escalations and draft communications
Minimum qualifications
Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of at least two finance integration projects or entity set up projects, from planning through post-close execution, including project plan ownership and executive reporting
Working accounting fluency across the areas your stakeholders own: the close calendar, chart of accounts, intercompany, statutory reporting, purchase accounting fundamentals, and the finance implications of common deal structures (asset vs. stock, acquihire vs. strategic, full integration vs. standalone)
Strong program-management capability: comfortable scoping ambiguous work, owning multiple parallel workstreams, and managing to milestones without extensive oversight
Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or equivalent) in an acquisition and migration context
Cross-functional credibility with Legal, Tax, People, Corporate Development, and Finance sub-functions, and the ability to drive outcomes across competing timelines and risk tolerances
Comfort operating under deal-environment time pressure and confidentiality, with sound judgment when processes are being defined in real time
Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to distill complex operational issues into clear, decision-ready briefings
Preferred qualifications
10+ years in finance, accounting, or finance operations, with at least 3 years running cross-functional programs at a high-growth technology company, with a focus in M&A integration or legal entity programs
Have built or significantly contributed to a finance integration playbook, template library, or integration management office infrastructure from scratch
Bring international entity experience: new-jurisdiction setup, statutory audit and local GAAP obligations, employer-of-record bridges, transfer pricing and intercompany agreements
Have worked with standalone-subsidiary integration models, consolidation bridges, and equity-method investments
Be an active user of AI tools in their own workflow and excited to push program management toward automation
Hold a CPA, ACA, ACCA, or CA qualification
Be genuinely excited about AI safety and aligned with Anthropic's mission to build reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$190,000

Minimum education:

Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position

Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Perplexity is AI for people who expect more. On the data team, that means building the systems that make our data reliable, understandable, and usable by both humans and AI.
We're looking for an analytics engineer or data engineer who wants to build the foundation for an AI-native data organization. You'll design core data models, pipelines, semantic layers, data quality systems, governance practices, and warehouse workflows that power the entire company: helping teams make strategic decisions, operate the business, and move faster with trusted data. You'll also make sure those systems are secure, privacy-aware, and legible to AI agents, data scientists, and the rest of the company.
This role is for someone who can operate at the boundary of analytics engineering, data engineering, data governance, and internal product. You care about dimensional modeling, dbt standards, cost-aware warehouse design, access controls, privacy, and the details that make data trustworthy. You also believe AI should make the data stack faster, easier to maintain, and more accessible across the company without weakening security or governance.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build the core data foundation - design and maintain high-quality data models, marts, and pipelines that make analysis fast, reliable, and reusable.
- Manage the data warehouse - help own warehouse architecture, environments, permissions, performance, cost, data lifecycle, and operational hygiene so the platform scales cleanly.
- Make the warehouse AI-readable - own the documentation, semantic context, metadata, lineage, and retrieval patterns that AI systems depend on to understand and query Perplexity's data correctly.
- Own data modeling standards - define and champion dbt patterns, dimensional modeling practices, naming conventions, tests, and review processes.
- Lead data governance practices - define standards for access, ownership, lineage, documentation, retention, quality, and sensitive data handling across the analytical warehouse.
- Build with security and privacy in mind - partner with engineering, security, legal, and finance where needed to ensure data access, sharing, and AI-enabled workflows are appropriate and controlled.
- Automate data quality and maintenance - build AI-assisted workflows that detect issues, explain root causes, suggest fixes, generate tests, and reduce manual firefighting.
- Improve data team productivity - automate repetitive workflows, improve tooling, streamline development, and make it easier for data scientists and stakeholders to answer questions.
- Partner across the company - work closely with data scientists, engineering, product, finance, and GTM teams to translate analytical needs into durable data systems.
- Shape tooling decisions - evaluate build-versus-buy tradeoffs, manage vendor relationships when needed, and choose tools that scale with the team.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 6+ years of experience as an analytics engineer, data engineer, data scientist, or closely related role.
- Deep SQL expertise - you can reason about correctness, performance, joins, grain, and edge cases in complex warehouse queries.
- Strong data modeling experience - you've worked hands-on with dbt (or a similar transformation framework) in production, and you understand dimensional modeling, data contracts, testing, and how analytical schemas should evolve.
- Pipeline ownership - you've built, maintained, debugged, and improved production data pipelines.
- Warehouse management experience - you've worked with warehouse administration, access patterns, permissions, performance tuning, cost management, or operational ownership.
- Governance mindset - you think clearly about data ownership, access controls, privacy, retention, lineage, auditability, and the risks of making data too easy to access.
- AI-native working style - you already use AI to speed up development, documentation, QA, exploration, and repetitive workflow automation.
- Stakeholder fluency - you know how to turn messy analytical requirements into trusted models, metrics, and reusable data assets.
- Autonomy and execution - you can take projects from ambiguous problem to production-quality system with minimal oversight.
- Operational judgment - you care about reliability, governance, security, cost, and long-term maintainability.
BONUS
- Snowflake administration, optimization, cost management, or warehouse performance tuning.
- Experience with RBAC, PII handling, data classification, retention policies, audit workflows, or privacy/security reviews.
- Experience with Databricks or other modern data infrastructure.
- Experience building semantic layers, metrics layers, metadata systems, or data catalogs.
- Python experience for data tooling, automation, orchestration, or quality checks.
- Previous experience as an early analytics engineer or data engineer at a high-growth startup.
WHY THIS ROLE
- Own the foundation - your work will determine how fast and confidently the company can use data.
- Build for humans and AI - the next generation of data infrastructure needs to be understandable by agents as well as analysts.
- High leverage - better models, pipelines, and tools multiply every data scientist and every stakeholder who depends on data.
- Small team, broad scope - you'll have room to define standards, choose tools, and ship systems that become company-wide defaults.

Our team includes creators of popular open-source projects (e.g.,Seaborn https://github.com/mwaskom/seaborn,Luigi https://github.com/spotify/luigi), academic researchers, international olympiad medalists, and experienced engineering and product leaders with decades of experience.
THE ROLE:
We’re hiring a Field Marketing Manager in San Francisco to build and run the programs that turn Modal’s target accounts into active customers. You’ll work closely with our Sales team to plan regional campaigns, run events for the engineers and technical leaders we sell to, and report on how those programs contribute to pipeline and revenue. This is a hands-on role for someone who has run account-based field programs at a technical company and wants to help shape the function as it grows.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON:
- Act as a strategic partner to Sales, aligning field programs with sales priorities and helping AEs create and accelerate pipeline in their territories
- Develop and execute account-based programs for named accounts, working with Sales to identify key stakeholders and the right mix of touchpoints for each
- Decide which industry conferences and sponsorships are worth investing in, and own what we bring, who we send, and whether we go back next year
- Plan and host high-touch 1:1 and 1:few events for prospects and customers, such as executive dinners, roundtables, and technical workshops, in partnership with AEs
- Own pre-event and post-event execution, including targeted invitations, meeting booking, and timely follow-up with Sales
- Build co-marketing programs with VCs, accelerators, and ecosystem partners to reach their portfolio companies and customers
- Track and report on program performance, including meetings booked, account engagement, and sourced and influenced pipeline, and use the results to plan future investment
- Own the VIP experience at Modal’s flagship events, including our annual conference, Runtime
- Build repeatable processes and playbooks as the team grows
YOU MAY BE A FIT IF:
- You have a track record of running field programs at a technical company and can point to specific ones and clear outcomes
- You’ve worked directly with AEs and you’re happy sharing a number with them
- You have good judgment about where to spend: a lot of sponsorships look better than they perform, and you can tell which is which
- You’re organized and self-directed, and comfortable running many events, partners, and vendors at once
- You’ve produced events across a range of formats, from small executive dinners to large conference sponsorships and brand events
- You have strong attention to detail and a high bar for taste and the quality of every event and touchpoint
- You’re comfortable with data and reporting, including CRM, attribution, and pipeline analysis
- You’re familiar with ABM, intent data, and marketing automation tools
- You’ve built AI into marketing workflows, such as account research, audience development, event operations, and reporting
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Experience at an AI, developer tools, or cloud infrastructure company
- Experience marketing to technical audiences such as engineers, ML teams, and technical executives
- Experience bridging product-led and sales-assisted growth
- Existing relationships with Bay Area VCs, accelerators, or AI communities

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic's consulting and systems integration partners now sell and deliver Claude work at growing volume, and selling alongside partners is working. What matters next is delivery: whether the partner completes the work, whether the customer's Claude usage grows and holds, and whether the outcome is good enough that the customer asks for that partner again.
The Partner Success Lead owns that outcome. You will hold a book of in-flight customer engagements across a set of managed partners in EMEA. From the day our Partner Delivery program matches a customer engagement to a partner in your book, you own it to a completed outcome: the work finishes on scope, the customer's Claude usage grows, and a stalled engagement gets diagnosed and unblocked before the customer disengages. You wake up every day on one question: what is each partner in my book doing, and is the work getting done.
Key responsibilities
Own every customer engagement in your book from partner match to completed outcome. Know the state of each one every week: scope, timeline, blockers, and the customer's Claude usage trend.
Run the weekly delivery review across your book, and bring stalled or at-risk engagements to the weekly at-risk account review with a diagnosis, an owner, and a specific ask rather than a status list.
Unblocking. Partner capacity, scope creep, customer readiness, product questions, deal-registration conflicts, and customer dissatisfaction with partner work: get each issue to the right internal team and stay on it through resolution.
Own delivery quality and consumption across your book. Track engagements completed on time, time from match to completion, delivered consumption and weekly active use on the customer accounts your partners serve, and the accounts trending toward at-risk.
Build senior relationships with each managed partner's practice and delivery leadership. Together with the Partner Account Manager and other Anthropic counterparts, establish the executive-level trust that lets you ask a partner to restaff, escalate, or invest — and be taken seriously — when an engagement needs it.
Build each partner's Claude practice as the compounding work: certified bench depth, one repeatable offering in a chosen industry lane, and a published customer story from each completed engagement, so the next engagement needs less from you.
Turn what works into methodology. Convert the moves you prove in your book into named, reusable best practices — engagement review packs, unblocking plays, practice-building guides — written clearly enough to be shared at scale across partners, the Partner Success team, and the contract delivery team running the same loop.
Run the quarterly practice review with each managed partner's alliance and delivery leads: joint goals on completed customer engagements, customer adoption, certified practitioners, references, and industry positioning.
Present and persuade across audiences. Deliver partner executive briefings, practitioner enablement sessions, and internal reviews with equal command — this role is regularly the voice of Partner Success in front of a partner's leadership, a delivery team, a customer, or Anthropic's own leadership.
Steward funding requests from partners in your book. Recommend for or against co-investment and program funding requests against a stated outcome, and reconcile against milestones. The bar is outcomes, not consultant hours.
Work the handoffs cleanly: from Partner Sales when a partner deal closes, and from the Partner Delivery program when an engagement is matched to a partner in your book. Coordinate with the Partner Account Manager on any strategic partner that has one, with Customer Success Managers on customer-side account health, and with Anthropic's direct sales field on joint accounts.
Instrument your book and know its numbers: engagements in flight and completed, stall rate and days to unblock, delivered consumption per partner, certified practitioner counts, and partner health trajectory.
Run your book Claude-first. Telemetry drafts the diagnosis; you validate it and act. Claude drafts your review packs, status notes, and escalation briefs; you own the judgment, the exceptions, and the unblocking. Feed what you see in the field back into the packages, playbooks, tier rules, and health rubric the team runs on.
Minimum qualifications
Experience owning a high-volume book of concurrent customer engagements, projects, or accounts (roughly 10 to 30 at a time) to completed outcomes, in a partner success, customer success, delivery management, or technical account management role.
Ability and appetite to build structure, clarity, and programmatic motions out of in-flight work, while delivering engagement by engagement. You have written something down — a review format, a checklist, a play — that others ran without you, and you want to do more of that; growing that into the operating playbook a wider team runs is the senior end of this role, not the entry bar. This role scales by what you write down, not by added hours.
Track record of a number tied to completed work and customer behavior (on-time delivery, adoption, retention, consumption, expansion) rather than contract signature, and an operating rhythm you built to hit it.
Judgment on delivery quality: you can review a partner's engagement plan or scope and tell whether it will finish on time and produce usage, and you ask the follow-up question that surfaces the real risk.
Escalation and unblocking judgment across a matrix (partner, customer, direct sales, customer success, product): you know which stall belongs to whom, you get help fast, and you stay engaged to resolution.
A convincing speaker and presenter to all kinds of audiences: partner executives, delivery practitioners, customers, and internal leadership. You can carry a quarterly practice review, an enablement session, and an executive escalation in the same week and land each one.
Deep understanding of how customer success works in a usage-based business; you have held a number tied to customer behavior and can read a consumption trend and act on it.
Enough technical fluency to be credible in a delivery review. You do not need to write code, but you can follow a partner architect's walkthrough of a real Claude engagement and ask the substantive second question.
Active daily use of Claude or another large language model as part of how you work: preparing reviews, drafting account plans, and analyzing your book. We will ask you to walk us through a recent deliverable.
Preferred qualifications
5 to 8 years working with consulting and systems integration partners, or in delivery-facing customer success at a software company, cloud platform, or partner-led business.
Direct experience with systems integrators (global firms such as Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini, Infosys, TCS, or Wipro, or regional and boutique firms) and an understanding of how their delivery practices are staffed and run.
Experience running at-risk or red account reviews and turning stalled work around.
Experience anchoring a surge team: setting the playbook and the review pack that a group of contract or offshore delivery coordinators ran, and holding the quality bar across them.
Depth in a specific industry vertical (financial services, healthcare, public sector, retail, or manufacturing) where you have carried a book of partners or customers.
Experience stewarding co-investment funding or market development funding against specific outcomes, with formed opinions about what works and what does not.
Experience running quarterly business reviews with consulting firm practice leads, and a sense of what makes them productive rather than ceremonial.
Experience on a new team where the operating model was being written while you ran the book, and you shipped both.
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Buying something for a business should not require finance teams to piece together requests, purchase orders, receipts, and invoices across disconnected systems. Ramp is building a procurement experience that helps employees get what they need, gives finance teams control over commitments, and helps businesses pay for what they actually received.
As a Product Manager for Ramp’s Procurement offering, you will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Ramp’s core procurement capabilities, including sourcing, requisition, approval workflows, renewals, purchase orders, receiving, two- and three-way matching, and inventory management. You will work with Engineering, Design, and Data to turn complex purchasing and accounting requirements into products that are easy to start using and reliable as customers grow.
AI creates an opportunity to rethink this work: build agentic buying experiences for employees, automate work for approvers and stakeholders, and businesses make better purchasing decisions. You will decide where automation can take work off a customer’s plate, where a direct workflow is faster, and where a person needs to review or approve an action. Success means customers get value quickly, adopt the product in their everyday work, and spend less time chasing information and correcting errors.
This role requires working in person at our NYC or SF office at least two days per week.
Please note that this role requires in-person presence at our NYC or SF office at least 2 days/week.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own the strategy and roadmap for Ramp’s Procurement pod. Make clear choices about which customer problems to solve, how the capabilities fit together, and what to build next.
- Build connected workflows across sourcing, requisition, approvals, renewals, purchase orders, receiving, invoice matching, and inventory management. Partner with Bill Pay, Accounting, and platform teams so purchasing records and decisions carry through to payment and customers’ ERP systems.
- Spend time with finance teams, procurement leaders, purchasing operators, and employees. Turn observed friction into simpler experiences for first-time customers and powerful workflows for complex organizations.
- Build AI-powered experiences that complete useful work, such as finding new vendors, managing a renewal, drafting a request from a contract, or helping resolve a receipt and invoice discrepancy. Prototype with customers and decide what should be automated, suggested, or handled through direct user controls.
- Make automation dependable. Partner with Engineering and Data to define quality measures, test realistic customer scenarios, learn from corrections, and provide clear explanations, approval boundaries, audit trails, and recovery when something goes wrong.
- Own outcomes beyond launch. Define and improve activation, repeat usage, time to complete purchasing work, and the accuracy of matching and exception resolution. Use data and customer research to choose the next iteration.
- Lead execution with engineers and designers, make scope and sequencing tradeoffs, and align partner teams on dependencies. Work with Sales, Implementation, and Customer Experience to turn customer commitments into repeatable product capabilities and support successful adoption.
WHAT YOU NEED
- At least three years of product management or equivalent product-building experience, with evidence of owning a product area from customer discovery through launch and measurable adoption.
- Strong product judgment and systems thinking. You can simplify complex workflows while preserving the controls and flexibility customers need.
- Hands-on AI fluency, demonstrated through products, prototypes, or meaningful projects. You can reason about model quality, latency, cost, and user control, and choose where AI improves the experience.
- Technical and analytical fluency, developed through a technical or analytical degree or equivalent practical experience. You can work with engineers on data models and integrations, use data to investigate problems, and build prototypes to test ideas.
- Deep customer curiosity and strong design judgment. You can learn unfamiliar purchasing and finance workflows, distinguish recurring needs from one-off requests, and make the product easier to use.
- A track record of leading cross-functional teams, setting priorities, making difficult tradeoffs, and delivering outcomes through others.
- Clear written and verbal communication. You can explain a product direction, a complex workflow, and the reasoning behind a decision to technical and non-technical audiences.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience with procurement, purchasing, inventory management, accounts payable, or accounting software, including purchase orders, receiving, matching, and exception handling.
- Experience shipping AI-powered products used in production, including document understanding, agent workflows, and evaluation systems.
- Experience with ERP integrations, multi-entity businesses, or enterprise approval and permission models.
- Experience building products where accuracy and trust matter, with meaningful auditability, user controls, and recovery paths.
- Experience at a high-growth startup, taking new products from initial concept to sustained use or scaling an existing product.

ABOUT US
At LangChain, our mission is to make intelligent agents ubiquitous. We build the foundation for agent engineering in the real world, helping developers move from prototypes to production-ready AI agents that teams can rely on. We began as widely adopted open-source tools and have grown to also offer a platform for building, evaluating, deploying, and operating agents at scale.
With $125M raised at Series B from IVP, Sequoia, Benchmark, CapitalG, and Sapphire Ventures, we’re at a stage where we’re continuing to develop new products, growth is accelerating, and all team members have meaningful impact on what we build and how we work together. LangChain is a place where your contributions can shape how this technology shows up in the real world.
Today, our platform includes LangSmith (Observability, Evaluation, Deployment, Fleet, and Sandboxes), our open source frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, and Deep Agents), and the newly launched LangSmith Engine for autonomous agent improvement. We have 100M+ monthly open source downloads, 6,000+ active LangSmith customers, and 5 of the Fortune 10 use LangSmith in production (+ 35% of the Fortune 500 overall), including teams at Klarna, Clay, Coinbase, Workday, Lyft, Cloudflare, Harvey, Rippling, Vanta, LinkedIn, Monday.com, Nvidia, and Bridgewater.
About the team
SmithDB is LangChain's internal database team. We're building a storage and query layer purpose-built for AI observability and evaluation. Within six months we went from idea to a production system that offers industry leading performance and scalability for agent observability data. We're a small, fast team of systems engineers tackling genuinely hard problems: storage layout, query execution, compaction, and scaling toward trillions of agent traces. We develop in Rust, run on Kubernetes, and integrate tightly with S3/GCS/Azure Blob. There are no legacy constraints; this is a greenfield system with real production load and ambitious engineering goals.
About the role
We're looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead the SmithDB team. This is not a pure people-management role. You'll write production code, review PRs at the systems level, make architectural calls, and be in the weeds alongside your engineers. At the same time, you'll own team health, hiring, technical roadmap, and coordination with the broader LangSmith platform. The ideal candidate has deep systems or database engineering experience and genuinely prefers to stay technical while growing a team.
What you'll do
- Write and review production Rust code across ingestion, query execution, and storage layers
- Lead architectural decisions on storage format, compaction, indexing, and query planning
- Drive performance investigations using memory and CPU profiling tools; own the path from profiling to shipped fix
- Design and harden the distributed deployment of SmithDB services on Kubernetes (multi-tenant, high-throughput, low-latency)
- Contribute to cloud object store integrations (S3, GCS, Azure Blob) and set the standard for how SmithDB manages data at rest and in flight
- Build and maintain observability for the engine itself: metrics, tracing, debug tooling
- Manage a small but growing team of systems engineers: set goals, run 1:1s, provide technical mentorship, and grow careers
- Own the SmithDB technical roadmap in partnership with LangSmith product and engineering leadership
- Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to the broader organization: you write concise, decision-ready updates
What you'll bring
- 7+ years in systems or database engineering, with at least 2 years in a technical lead or engineering management role
- Production Rust experience — you can write it, review it, and have opinions on how to structure it at scale
- Deep understanding of database or storage engine internals: query execution, storage layouts, indexing, compaction
- Proficiency in systems performance analysis: memory allocators, CPU hotspots, lock contention, async runtimes (Tokio)
- Experience deploying and operating distributed services on Kubernetes in a production, multi-tenant environment
- Familiarity with cloud object storage (S3-compatible APIs, consistency models, cost/performance tradeoffs)
- Proven track record of managing engineers — you can recruit, retain, and level-up a team without losing your technical edge
Nice-to-have:
- Experience building or contributing to columnar storage formats (Parquet, Arrow), OLAP query engines, or time-series stores
- Background in observability infrastructure or tracing pipelines (OpenTelemetry, ClickHouse, Prometheus)
- Experience scaling a system from early-stage to hundreds of billions / trillions of records
Compensation
Salary Range: $240,000-$300,000 USD
Compensation Philosophy:
We offer competitive compensation that includes base salary, variable compensation for relevant roles, meaningful equity, benefits, and perks.
We are hiring for this role across a range of scope, and the compensation band reflects that. Your offer depends on what we learn about your impact, craft, leadership, and communication during the interview process. We will tell you early where you’re tracking and talk comp with you before offer stage. Team members in the EU, UK, and APAC receive locally competitive benefits aligned with regional norms and regulations.
BENEFITS
Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible vacation, a 401(k) plan, meals on in-office days in the US and more.
Location: Montreal, Canada
