From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.
During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
We’re looking for a
Sr Software Engineer
to join the Platform Ops team (Platform Engineering) and enable developer productivity by building and improving developer tooling and environments, and by improving other productivity tools around observability. Our team builds the shared systems and workflows engineers rely on every day—internal developer environments and self-serve tooling that makes the recommended way to ship changes the easiest way. This is a platform tooling role with a focus is on reusable capabilities and self-service workflows adopted across teams.
You’ll also help develop AI-based workflows for productivity and efficiency, including automation that improves infrastructure operations (for example, faster triage, automated runbook steps, and better self-service for common issues). You’ll prioritize the highest-impact problems by looking at where time is being lost today (slow builds, flaky tests, manual release steps, repetitive operational work) and turning that into concrete projects. You’ll set clear success metrics up front and use them to guide design decisions and rollouts.
Expect to partner closely with engineering teams to drive adoption, document changes, and iterate based on feedback. You’ll drive cross-team work across internal tooling, developer environments, observability, and reliability, focusing on measurable improvements (for example: shorter lead time, fewer incidents, and faster recovery). You’ll add automation and enable developer workflows across all three major cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and GCP).
Over time, you’ll own medium-sized projects end-to-end: identify the highest-friction workflows with partner teams, build and ship improvements, roll them out safely, and iterate based on adoption and measurable outcomes (for example: faster builds, fewer flaky tests, shorter time to debug, and less operational toil). You’ll collaborate closely with Platform Engineering, Release Engineering, Security, and product engineering teams to make improvements that are easy to adopt and maintain.
What You’ll Do
Build internal tools and services in
Python
and/or
Go
Build tooling for our internal developer platform (self-service workflows, shared patterns, developer-facing interfaces)
Add automation and enable developer workflows across all three major cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and GCP)
Develop AI-based workflows that improve developer experience and reduce repetitive manual work, including efficiency gains in infrastructure operations
Improve developer feedback loops through better observability (metrics/logs/traces), making failures easier to diagnose
Automate common engineering workflows (scaffolding, environment setup, releases, operational runbooks)
Improve observability for platform services (metrics, logs, traces) to make issues easier to detect and debug
Integrate tools into existing workflows (CLI, Slack, GitHub, dashboards) where it reduces time-to-resolution
Participate in on-call/incident response as needed and drive follow-up automation to prevent repeat issues
Skills We’re Looking For
Professional software engineering experience in
Python
and/or
Go
Experience building developer productivity tooling (CI systems, build tooling, developer portals, workflow automation)
Experience with at least one cloud provider (
AWS
,
Azure
, or
GCP
)
Strong fundamentals: testing, code review, debugging, and operating production services
Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-team environment
You'll have an edge if you have:
Kubernetes experience
Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/OpenTofu), including reusable modules and safe state management

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
⭐ CTO FOUNDER ASSOCIATE INTERNSHIP ⭐

It is a unique chance to work on many tasks in a different and non traditional environment.
You will be highly involved in key challenges for Alan, and will be asked to support high added value tasks for Alan.
⭐ DETAILED MISSIONS ⭐
As such, you can’t be exhaustive on the missions you will perform as a CTO FA, as you can be asked to help on almost any subject.
Possible projects include:
- Tech: Exploring new technologies and their applications for Alan
- Artificial Intelligence: Implementing internal solutions that leverage AI to optimize processes
- Strategy: Contributing to company vision, market analysis, and growth modelling

- Brand & Communication: Developing corporate presence at events and on social media
- Growth: Coordinating RFPs, supporting marketing and partnerships
- Recurring tasks: Coordinating the weekly internal communication, supporting the CTO with his weekly social posts, organizing the monthly event gathering all the Alaners, recruiting the next batch of FAs.

⭐ KEY OUTCOMES ⭐

- Created new processes and resources, and contributed innovative ideas to improve Founders Associates team efficiency and autonomy
- Gained skills to start your own company as a CTO

⭐ PROFILE & COMPETENCIES ⭐
- Analytical sense and critical thinking: FAs possess strong abilities to frame the right questions, objectively analyze problems, and simulate possible outcomes.
- Business and product sense: FAs need excellent understanding to think at the company level, assess cross-cutting impacts, and make sound decisions in ambiguous situations.
- Execution and collaboration: The ability to orchestrate and direct people towards objectives is key, given the scope and timeline of work.
- Versatility and education: given the scope of work, FAs should be able to jump from one topic to another with similar impact.
- Organization, time management and autonomy: FAs must excel in managing projects precisely and reliably with minimal external assistance.
- Effective communication: FAs interact with numerous Alaners daily, and therefore need to clearly express their needs, and inspire action in others.

- Growth mindset: you know how to ask for and receive feedback in order to grow as an FA in your early professional life.
- Fluency in spoken and written English. All our communications are written and in English.
- High agency: FAs seek problems in their environment to solve and are committed to making things happen, whether by building projects, organizing events, mobilizing people towards an idea, etc. When faced with an unfamiliar problem, FAs' first instinct is to find a solution, not to wait for someone else to show them how.
- AI fluency: FAs are comfortable building with AI tools and have artifacts to show -- a tool, a prototype, a workflow, etc
- Technical conceptual understanding: FAs are not necessarily software engineers, but they do have a strong grasp on how technical systems work at a conceptual level. FAs are oftentimes the connection between technical and non-technical teams, so they need to be able to brainstorm with engineers, evaluate tradeoffs, and own technical projects end to end

Our clients include fast-growing startups, digital agencies, SaaS companies, and tech-enabled businesses across industries such as MarTech, FinTech, EdTech, and eCommerce. Unlike traditional outsourcing agencies, we place you directly with innovative companies where you become a valued member of the team.
About the company
A fast-growing performance marketing agency based in the UK, our client specializes in high-impact patient acquisition for the cosmetic dentistry sector. By combining premium creative production with cutting-edge AI-driven sales systems, the team bridges the gap between lead generation and clinical consultations. They provide a comprehensive solution that includes specialized Meta advertising and automated appointment setting, ensuring high-value cases like Invisalign and dental implants reach the practitioners they serve.
The team operates at the intersection of marketing and technology, priding themselves on being early adopters of AI to drive measurable growth. With a strategic, results-focused culture, they offer an environment where innovation is prioritized to help clients outperform local competition. This is an excellent opportunity to join a scaling, specialist firm that values transparent performance and is dedicated to transforming how healthcare providers manage their digital growth and sales pipelines.
Job Type:
Full-time (Exclusive)
Job Summary
We are a high-growth, UK-focused performance marketing agency specializing exclusively in AI-driven patient acquisition for the cosmetic and implant dentistry sector. Unlike generalist agencies, we own the entire funnel—from high-intent Meta ads to a dedicated appointment-setting team that converts leads into deposit-paid consultations. We are looking for a technical, results-driven Senior Specialist to take full ownership of our paid social engine. This is a role for a "Self-Directed Owner" who thrives on solving complex tracking issues in restricted healthcare categories and delivering stable, high-quality lead volume that keeps our sales team busy and our UK dental clients scaling.
Key Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end performance of Meta (Facebook/Instagram) campaigns, including structure, optimization, and scaling across all dental client accounts.
Manage and fix complex conversion tracking setups, including Pixel, CAPI, GTM, server-side tracking, and custom/offline events.
Navigate and implement workarounds for healthcare-restricted categories where standard Meta optimization is limited.
Monitor account health daily, acting immediately on fluctuations in spend, CPL, or lead quality.
Lead client communication for UK-based practice owners via WhatsApp, Google Meet, and detailed Loom performance walkthroughs.
Coordinate lead flow with the internal appointment-setting team to ensure a consistent pipeline for qualification.
Maintain rigorous documentation of tracking configurations and account decisions to ensure a scalable, maintainable system.
Flag performance issues early and escalate to the founder only when accompanied by a clear, recommended fix
Requirements
3+ years of hands-on experience in Meta media buying (Facebook/Instagram) with a proven track record of hitting CPL/CPA targets in an agency setting.
Technical expertise in conversion tracking: Deep experience with Stape, GTM, server-side CAPI, and diagnosing broken tracking setups (not just installing basic tags).
Proven experience in restricted or regulated categories (e.g., Healthcare, Finance, Insurance) where standard platform tracking is limited.
Exceptional spoken and written English, with the confidence to lead performance calls and explain complex data to UK business owners.
High-ticket lead generation experience (moving beyond basic e-commerce prospecting).
South Africa-based with a reliable remote setup, including backup power and high-speed internet to manage UK business hours (GMT).
A proactive, ownership-focused mindset—we are looking for a specialist who manages the founder, not the other way around.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with GoHighLevel or similar CRM and automation platforms.
Strong instincts for creative and audience testing methodologies.
Proficiency in Looker Studio for advanced performance reporting.
Experience scaling agencies from small client bases to high-volume retainers.
Benefits
💰 Competitive salary
🌎 Fully remote work environment
🚀 Career growth into a Head of Paid Acquisition role as the agency scales
📈 Long-term stability in a highly profitable, specialized niche
🤝 High level of autonomy and a seat at the core of the business delivery team
Location: Paris, France
Workplace: Hybrid

Distributed ownership: accountable enlightened despots, everyone owns their decisions and results.
Radically transparent: all information is accessible and written-first, so everyone can make the best decisions asynchronously
🤝 How we grow together — We help each other improve through honest feedback and bold thinking
Optimistic alchemy: optimists who collaborate with genuine care and support teammates.
Empathetic challengers: direct, caring feedback combined with praises to help each other grow professionally
Bold & creative contrarians: think differently to achieve greatness, try new approaches
⚡ How we move fast — We fight complexity and focus on what matters most
Disciplined in execution: taking decisive actions with focus that compounds success over time
Fight for simplicity: only high impact processes, smart frugality
💡 THE MISSIONS
Alan has grown to nearly 900 Alaners, with close to 300 hires completed in H1 2026 alone.
The Workplace team is the engine behind the experience Alaners have every day — from their first day to the daily rhythm of office life. As the company scales, we need to scale with it and enhancing Alaners' experience wherever they work from, whether through the operational backbone of the office (vendors, procurement, RSE).
The role will be affected to a single contract: Workplace Experience.
While this profile comes with a clear focus area from the start, scopes are designed to evolve within the team, giving real room to grow over time.
The positions is based in Paris and require an onsite presence at least 4 days per week.

- Contribute to Alan's growth through building and running scalable processes and documentation, leveraging data, AI and automation

👀 MORE SPECIFICITIES ON THE PROFILE WE'RE LOOKING FOR (LEVEL RANGE TARGETED ON OUR LEVEL GRID: B0-B1)
Specific missions
- Run day-to-day office operations at Valmy — our Paris HQ: office tours, maintenance follow-up, supply and equipment management
- Manage and challenge the full vendor portfolio: onboarding, performance monitoring, contract tracking, invoicing, RFPs
- Own office procurement: purchases, budget tracking, cost optimization, reporting
- Lead Alan's RSE (Corporate Social Responsibility) approach: audit current practices, benchmark comparable organizations, build a prioritized action plan and drive concrete initiatives

Who we are
Our mission is to bring clarity and control to the world's most complex codebases. AI is accelerating code creation, but the infrastructure to understand, oversee, and evolve that code hasn't kept pace. Sourcegraph gives engineering organizations full visibility across their systems, precise context for their agents, and the ability to execute coordinated code changes at scale. As agentic development becomes the dominant engineering paradigm, we provide the context layer teams need to take control of their codebase.
With Code Search, Deep Search, MCP, and Agentic Batch Changes, we deliver on that mission today - giving engineering teams and their AI tools the cross-repo context to navigate massive codebases with confidence, and the ability to make changes across hundreds of repositories at once.
Companies like Stripe, Reddit, and Leidos rely on Sourcegraph to ship faster and with higher quality. We're backed by a16z, Sequoia, and Redpoint, and proud to operate as a globally distributed team that values high agency, direct communication, and customer love.
If you want to build the infrastructure that lets every engineering team - and every agent they deploy - operate on their codebase with confidence, join us.
