Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
About the team
Agent Experience builds the AI-powered backend services that power agent-assist tooling on our Astra support surface — helping support agents resolve customer, merchant, and Dasher issues faster. We sit at the intersection of LLM-backed product features and high-volume, latency-sensitive support infrastructure.
What you'll do
Build and maintain backend services for agent-assist features on Astra, taking on feature-level work with increasing independence.
Translate requirements into working code: design the feature-level approach, write an RFC when the change affects other engineers, and implement it end-to-end.
Integrate with LLM-backed features — wiring up prompt/completion calls, handling provider responses, and validating output quality and correctness.
Break down assigned project work into tasks, provide accurate estimates, and keep your own progress and dependencies on track.
Apply AI tooling thoughtfully to your own workflow (coding, testing, review) and critically evaluate its output rather than taking it at face value.
Participate in code review — both giving and receiving — to help the team hold a high bar for correctness, quality, and standards compliance.
Collaborate with senior engineers and partner teams to clarify problem definitions, unblock yourself, and flag risks or blockers early.
What we're looking for
Solid backend engineering fundamentals in Go, with experience shipping and maintaining production services.
Exposure to LLM-powered features in production (prompt/completion integration, provider APIs) is a plus — we'll ramp you up if you haven't worked with this directly.
Ability to independently own feature-level work: from a written requirement to tested, shipped code.
Comfort working in a domain with multiple chat/support surfaces — willingness to trace issues to the right service rather than guessing.
Clear technical writing (RFCs for feature-level decisions) and good judgment about when to ask for help versus push forward.
2–4 years of backend engineering experience, with a track record of growing ownership and scope.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

PARTNER ENABLEMENT & TECHNICAL STRATEGY
- Establish repeatable processes and programs for partner technical enablement, including scalable learning paths, certifications, technical deep-dives, and integration workshops.
- Design and deliver both 1:1 strategic enablement for key partners and 1-to-many programs that drive adoption across the broader partner ecosystem.
- Create technical content, integration guides, architectural diagrams, reference architectures, and enablement videos tailored for partners.
- Develop partner-specific technical sales plays, solution validation frameworks, and proof-of-value methodologies that highlight Docker's differentiated value.
JOINT GO-TO-MARKET EXECUTION
- Partner with the Partner Sales organization to drive joint account planning, co-selling opportunities, and "sell-with" and "sell-through" motions.
- Guide partners through solution design, technical validation, and evaluation processes to achieve joint customer success and sales goals.
- Support product positioning and technical validation during joint sales engagements, ensuring clarity on what's GA and ready for delivery.
- Define and track metrics for partner technical readiness, engagement quality, and revenue impact.
PRODUCT & ALLIANCE COLLABORATION
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to share Voice of the Partner, influencing roadmap priorities and co-building initiatives.
- Guide beta/EAP program participation with strategic partners, gathering feedback on new features and integration requirements.
- Work closely with the Technical Alliances team on roadmap alignment, technical integrations with CSPs and ISVs, and partner-driven feature requests.

We are looking for a Strategic Finance Lead to help scale Perplexity’s consumer and enterprise businesses. You will partner with Marketing and Growth leaders to identify growth opportunities, understand customer economics, and turn investment decisions into measurable business results. You will build our marketing-finance capabilities while helping shape how we acquire customers and generate enterprise pipeline.
This role starts as a hands-on individual contributor position for someone who enjoys open-ended problems and turning analysis into action. You will work closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams, with room for your scope to evolve as the company grows. We value someone who can set direction, dig into the details, and follow through.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop the customer economics and investment recommendations that guide how we acquire and retain customers, grow enterprise pipeline, and scale marketing spend. Use CAC, LTV, and payback to evaluate investment returns.
- Partner with Marketing and Growth leaders to build and scale growth initiatives, identify constraints, and determine the resources and changes needed to produce more business.
- Build models and analyses to guide growth investments, translate plans into resource requirements and spending forecasts, and track commitments as plans evolve.
- Collaborate with data and business partners to strengthen measurement and attribution, connecting marketing activity to business outcomes. Help teams make investment decisions with incomplete information, making assumptions explicit and using results to refine where we invest.
- Take ownership of emerging strategic questions across GTM, bringing clear recommendations and adapting as priorities change.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 5+ years of experience in strategic finance, business operations, growth analytics, or a related field, with experience supporting growth-oriented decisions.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of customer economics and investment returns.
- Ability to work directly with data and build financial models, using AI tools to accelerate analysis and improve workflows. You can validate outputs, interrogate assumptions, and explain the business logic behind your recommendations.
- Experience making growth investment decisions across both consumer or self-serve acquisition and enterprise demand generation, with a strong understanding of customer economics and the connection between marketing activity, pipeline, and bookings.
- A track record of independently identifying growth opportunities, building the analysis needed to act, and working with partners to implement decisions and learn from results. You move quickly, learn fast, and are willing to do the detailed work yourself.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust, challenge assumptions constructively, and work across teams.
