Location: London, United Kingdom - Deliveroo
Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
The Dev Environments team sits within DoorDash's Foundations group (Platform Engineering). We own the local and remote developer experience across the DoorDash group of companies supporting over 5000 engineers. Our mission is to enable engineering velocity, quality, and efficiency at significant scale by removing friction from the day-to-day developer loop: spinning up a working environment, getting code building, and getting feedback fast, whether the "developer" is a human or an AI agent.
As a Staff Engineer on Dev Environments, you'll be recognised as an expert across the dev environments space, covering both local and remote dev flows, devcontainers, IDE/remote backends, and how they all fit together, including owning accountability for outcomes that span multiple teams. You'll set technical direction for the team's roadmap, unblock deep cross-cutting technical problems other engineers can't resolve alone, and mentor senior and mid-level engineers. You'll partner closely with engineering leadership across the group to translate ambiguous, company-wide developer-experience problems into a concrete, sequenced technical strategy.
What You’ll Be Doing
Technical direction
Define the architecture for how thousands of engineers across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo actually develop and ship code: local and remote dev containers, remote IDE/VM lifecycle, and the full local-to-remote loop.
Build monorepo dev tooling at scale. It's part of consolidating all the companies under DoorDash’s umbrella onto one global backend - you're setting the standard, not patching one org's tooling.
Provision production-shaped environments in seconds, keep state in sync over the network, and make a remote machine feel local, reliably and cheaply, at thousands-of-concurrent-engineers scale.
Expect to invent as much as you adopt: much of this is genuinely unsolved elsewhere in the industry.
Design for AI agents as first-class consumers of the environment, not an afterthought: sandboxes that spin up on demand, run in parallel, and are safe to hand a real repo.
Support agents launched from an IDE, a CLI, or a Slack message - with no laptop required to review and ship what the agent did.
Collaboration & leadership
Align teams that don't naturally sit adjacent to each other (e.g. Security, Infrastructure, Product Engineering) around unstructured, ambiguous problems where there's no existing playbook.
Mentor engineers at all levels: run design reviews; raise the engineering bar through code review, pairing, and architectural guidance when appropriate.
Help set the hiring bar: lead interview loops, help calibrate, and support onboarding of senior hires.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
Essential:
A track record of shipping production systems and leading cross-team initiatives with group level impact - comfortable owning delivery end to end, from design through to production and adoption.
Hands on fluency with the languages and tooling used to build developer tooling (e.g. Go, Python, TypeScript) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
Experience managing compute via Kubernetes (multi-tenant workload isolation, autoscaling ephemeral workloads, cost management), or lightweight VM/sandbox technology (e.g. Firecracker).
Working knowledge of cloud networking, including securely and cost-effectively routing traffic across network boundaries (VPNs, service meshes, etc.)
Experience integrating LLM/AI tooling into developer workflows - e.g. Claude Code - both locally, and remotely.
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to influence senior stakeholders and align multiple non-adjacent teams without formal authority over them.
Experience building close working relationships with the engineering teams who consume your platform, not just the platform team itself.
Nice to have:
Experience in developer platforms or adjacent infrastructure: devcontainers, remote development, remote IDE backends, or developer workstation tooling.
Practical experience with JetBrains remote-backend flows, Codespaces/Codeserver-style products, or equivalent.
Experience with remote build/execution systems (e.g. BuildBuddy), or large-scale build caching.

About the Team
It’s an exciting time to join our rapidly growing Accounting team with ample development opportunities. We're growing the Revenue Data team with Engineering and Accounting Data openings to drive automation and systems infrastructure. All whilst while keeping pace within one of the fastest growing marketplace companies globally.
About the Role
The Engineer for Accounting Infrastructure and Systems designs, builds, and maintains the scalable backend services, data pipelines, and integrations that power DoorDash / Deliveroo's accounting, reconciliation, and financial reporting workflows. Working closely with Finance, Accounting, and fellow engineers, this role translates complex financial and regulatory requirements into reliable, automated systems that ensure accuracy, auditability, and compliance at scale. The ideal candidate brings strong distributed-systems and data engineering expertise along with a solid understanding of financial processes, and takes technical ownership of critical projects while mentoring junior engineers and helping shape the team's architecture and best practices.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will…
Take technical ownership of critical accounting infrastructure projects — designing and building the backend services, data pipelines, and integrations that power DoorDash's financial reporting, reconciliation, and close workflows at scale.
Partner directly with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to translate complex financial and regulatory requirements into reliable, auditable, and automated systems.
Shape the team's architecture and engineering best practices, mentoring junior engineers and raising the technical bar across the organization.
Drive measurable improvements in data accuracy, pipeline reliability, and system performance in a high-impact, compliance-critical environment.
We're excited about you because…
You have 3 - 4+ years of experience in software or data engineering, with a strong track record of owning and delivering complex backend or data infrastructure projects.
You have deep expertise in distributed systems and data engineering, with hands-on experience in tools like Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, or similar modern data stack technologies.
You can navigate the intersection of engineering and finance — understanding concepts like revenue recognition, reconciliation, and auditability well enough to build systems that meet those requirements.
You have a collaborative, low-ego approach and can effectively partner with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, and Engineering.
Familiarity with SOX controls, data quality frameworks, or financial systems (e.g., NetSuite) is a strong plus.

Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drives everything we do.
We're looking for a Marketing Executive, Value & Promotions to join our Marketing Team in Dubai. This is a hybrid role.
Role Overview
As Marketing Executive, Value & Promotions, you will report to the Senior Marketing Manager, Value & Promotions for the Middle East. You will own the day-to-day delivery and performance of our promotional and incentive campaigns, working cross-functionally to ensure every offer is targeted, well-timed, and commercially sound.
Incentives sit at the centre of how customers experience value on the platform - they influence whether someone tries the app, comes back, or drifts away. This role owns that layer day to day: turning the promotional calendar into targeted campaigns across the customer lifecycle, and making sure every campaign earns its budget.
What You'll Be Doing:
You’ll be joining the Middle East Marketing team. You will work cross-functionally with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Tech, Data Science, and Global/Central teams to build promotional plans that improve customer experience and drive operational excellence.
Here’s What Your Day-to-day Might Look Like:
Promotional Calendar Execution:
Own the day-to-day execution of the Middle East promotional calendar, translating the quarterly plan into targeted campaigns across the customer lifecycle: acquisition, activation, retention, and win-back.
Promo Strategy Development:
Contribute to the development of strategies focused on how value propositions can change customer behavior and drive ROI for Deliveroo and our Partners.
CRM & Lifecycle Campaigns:
Work with CRM and Tech to build and deploy in-app and lifecycle campaigns, ensuring offers reach the right customer segment at the right moment.
Campaign Set-up & Accuracy:
Own the set-up of promotions end to end - eligibility, caps, dates, and copy - so every offer goes live as briefed and on time.
Customer-centric Programmes:
Work with Data Science to translate customer and performance data into promo mechanics that are genuinely relevant, not just discounted.
Budget Tracking:
Own campaign-level budget tracking and reporting, flagging when a promotion’s ROI or margin impact is off plan.
Performance Optimization:
Own weekly reporting on in-flight campaign performance and post-campaign analysis, identifying what worked, what didn’t, and what’s worth testing next.
Test & Learn Agenda:
Design and run local test-and-learn experiments, feeding results back into the broader promotional strategy.
Competition Monitoring:
Keep on top of competitor trends and market activity to keep our offers sharp and well-positioned.
Customer Advocacy:
Champion the consumer voice, ensuring every promotion offers genuine value rather than just a lower price.
What You'll Need to Thrive:
Experience:
2-4 years of experience in Growth Marketing, CRM, Campaign Management, Marketing, Commercial Strategy, or Promotions within a high-growth technology, marketplace, e-commerce, or consumer platform.
Commercial Acumen:
Experience owning or supporting customer incentive strategies and promotional campaigns that drive measurable business outcomes, with working knowledge of core commercial metrics (CAC, LTV, GMV, margin impact) and how promotional decisions move them.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Analytics, or a related discipline.
Analytical Rigor:
Strong analytical skills - proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and BI tools like Looker, and comfortable interpreting data to shape campaign decisions.
Technical know-how:
Experience running or supporting A/B tests and translating results into recommendations.
Attention to Detail:
Organised and accurate, able to run several campaigns at once without letting the details slip.
Collaboration:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple cross-functional stakeholders and the confidence to communicate at all levels.
Execution Focus:
A self-starter attitude, with a proven ability to deliver results quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced, matrixed organisation.
Language Skills:
Fluent English; Arabic language skills are an advantage in this market.

The Role
Deliveroo is on a mission to transform the way the world thinks about food delivery, and B2B marketing is central to how we grow our merchant business. We're looking for a B2B Demand Generation Manager to own paid demand generation across our operating markets and help us win in one of the most competitive categories in tech. This is a high-autonomy, high-impact role for a seasoned performance marketer who can own demand gen end-to-end — from strategy and channel mix through to creative, execution, and the leads that actually convert into live, revenue-generating merchants.
Deliveroo operates in a focused set of markets, which means local relevance is everything. You'll work hand-in-hand with country Sales and commercial teams to understand each market's strategy, adapt the demand gen playbook to local realities, and choose the channels and tactics that will move the needle in each one. Rather than running a single global template, you'll tailor your approach country by country while building the repeatable systems that let us scale what works.
You'll manage significant budgets across a broad channel mix (Meta, TikTok, Google, programmatic and beyond) and you'll be equally comfortable crafting a sharp lead-gen campaign and a brand awareness push to win back share against multiple well-funded competitors. You'll partner with creatives to shape intelligent, well-positioned campaigns and testing winners, learning with data what works and can be scaled.
What you'll be responsible for
Owning end-to-end paid demand generation across our markets and B2B products, managing significant budgets across a broad channel mix (Meta, TikTok, Google, programmatic and beyond), experimenting with locally relevant tactics and turning what works into scalable playbooks;
Partnering closely with country Sales and commercial stakeholders to understand local strategy and market dynamics, and adapting the demand gen playbook to each market;
Building a lead generation engine that converts, looking beyond raw lead volume to lead quality, merchants that go live, and the GOV (Gross Order Value) they generate
Partnering with creative on full-funnel campaigns and sharp positioning, from lead generation through to brand awareness that defends and grows share in a highly competitive category, working independently with country teams;
Driving automation and AI-assisted workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort;
Supporting new product and feature launches with go-to-market demand generation campaigns;
Owning reporting and measurement, defining success from spend through to live merchants and GOV, and building strong relationships with Sales, Product and commercial teams to drive real business impact.
What you'll be able to demonstrate
Essential
A seasoned performance marketer with 5–8 years running high-budget B2B paid campaigns across multiple channels with real strength in Meta, TikTok and Google Search and across multiple countries, products or clients;
SMB B2B experience: you build lead generation pipelines that convert, thinking beyond the lead to good leads, merchants that go live, and the GOV they generate;
Strong local and commercial instinct: you work naturally with Sales, adapt to each country's strategy, and communicate clearly in English (other languages a plus);
Ability to plan and optimise media investment against business and campaign-level KPIs, and to do in-house media buying;
A spark of creativity and a sharp eye for positioning, you partner with creatives to craft intelligent campaigns and operate independently with country teams;
Analytical and data-driven: you define KPIs, form hypotheses, design tests for statistically significant results, and scale up what works;
Genuine interest in using AI and automation to improve how you work, with concrete examples to back it up.
Nice to have
Familiarity with the Food or Retail industries;
Experience aligning inbound and outbound motions, and knowledge of data enrichment and attribution (e.g. Clay, Cognism, ZoomInfo), ABM or intent-based tools;
Experience with content syndication, paid PR or retail media.

Workplace: Remote
LOCATION AND TRAVEL
You can be based in Europe; we're mainly remote and invite you to the Berlin office 3-5 days every two months.
We expect significant travel across the Europe, with occasional travel to other regions when the audience quality justifies it. The exact cadence will change with the event calendar, but you should expect travel to be a meaningful part of the job.
WHY THIS ROLE?
Langfuse has grown mostly through product-led, open-source adoption. We built a strong product, wrote useful docs and examples, stayed close to users, shipped in public, and helped developers understand how to build better AI applications.
However, many of the highest-signal moments happen in person: hallway conversations, workshops, meetups, dinners, conference demos, and technical talks.
We want someone who can own that motion end to end; put Langfuse in the right AI engineering rooms, make the product clear to technical audiences, and turn in-person conversations into durable marketing momentum.
The goal is not to do every event. The goal is to make the right events excellent, scalable, and measurable.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Represent Langfuse at conferences, meetups, workshops, customer events, partner events, and community gatherings across Europe
- Run live demos and technical sessions on tracing, evals, prompt management, datasets, metrics, and related LLM engineering workflows.
- Build and maintain field-ready material: demo flows, workshop runbooks, talk abstracts, event landing pages, follow-up emails, signup flows, and conference-in-a-box assets.
- Organize Langfuse-hosted meetups, workshops, dinners, and smaller technical gatherings around the highest-quality audiences.
- Partner with ClickHouse field marketing, sales, solutions, product marketing, and engineering teams where it helps Langfuse show up well.
- Turn event learnings into useful artifacts: better messaging, better demos, better docs, better talks, better customer stories, and sharper product feedback.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- You have worked in DevRel, product marketing engineering, solutions engineering, field engineering, developer advocacy, or technical community roles.
- You have spoken at developer conferences, meetups, workshops, webinars, or technical customer events.
- You already create technical content, demos, videos, talks, open source projects, or educational material.
- You should be excited to travel, give talks, run demos, host events, talk to developers and technical leaders, and bring what you learn back into the company.
- You care about developer experience, open source, AI engineering, and the quality of the rooms you spend time in.
- You are comfortable with ambiguity and can independently decide what to do before there is a mature playbook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
A strong plus:
- You are a former engineer, or deeply technical operator who can credibly explain software to experienced developers.
- You can write code well enough to build, debug, and maintain demos or workshop material.
- You are deep in AI engineering, LLM observability, evals, agents, or developer tools.
- You have original opinions that experienced developers value.

WHY PRODUCT ENGINEERING AT LANGFUSE
Your work will have an outsized impact.
Everything you build is open source (MIT-licensed) and immediately visible. Langfuse has 35,000+ GitHub stars and our SDKs are downloaded more than a hundred million times per month. When you ship a new feature the community notices in GitHub issues, on X, and in our community channels.
Product engineers at Langfuse are the people who deliver new features end-to-end to our users. You own the product thinking from understanding the user problem to deciding what to build to shipping the solution.
You will also have direct exposure to how cutting-edge LLM applications are built. The users you serve are some of the best and most ambitious software engineers leveraging Langfuse to improve their applications. Deeply understanding the problems they solve will help you design the best possible product and along the way makes you an expert on LLM engineering yourself.
YOU WILL GROW AT LANGFUSE BY
- Own features end-to-end: from talking to users, to writing the spec, to shipping the code and docs, to writing the changelog post https://langfuse.com/changelog with your name on it. To give you a sense: recent features a single engineer owned include the Langfuse for Agents https://langfuse.com/changelog/2025-11-05-langfuse-for-agents release (new trace views, agent graphs, semantic span labels), the TypeScript SDK v4 https://langfuse.com/changelog/2025-08-28-typescript-sdk-v4-ga rewrite on OpenTelemetry, and managing dashboards via API/CLI/MCP https://langfuse.com/changelog/2026-07-17-dashboard-and-widget-operations-in-api.
- Work across the full stack: and we mean full. Our surface area is wide: React frontend, Next.js backend, ClickHouse analytics, Python and TypeScript SDKs, public docs, Terraform modules, and more. You'll touch whatever the feature needs. One week you might be writing a new ClickHouse query for cost analytics, the next you're designing an SDK API, the next you're building a new rust worker for faster data processing.
- Talk to users constantly: jump on calls, respond in community channels, and route support requests. At Langfuse, support is how we build conviction about what to build next. Our handbook says it best: support by engineers is a core value proposition.
- Write public documentation about the features you own. At Langfuse, docs are product.
- Ship publicly during Launch Weeks: we've run four Launch Weeks https://langfuse.com/blog/2025-10-29-launch-week-4 so far, dropping a new feature every day for a week. Engineers present the features they built to the community.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Someone who has built features or even entire products from scratch end-to-end
- Experience building and shipping user-facing products end-to-end, ideally in TypeScript/React and with exposure to data-intensive backends
- Someone who can manage projects themselves. You know how to develop strong conviction about what to build and how to ship it.
- Taste for great developer experience: you care about API design, UI details, and clear documentation
- Interest in open source software and genuine excitement about talking to developers about their problems
- Thrives in a small, accountable team where your output is visible and matters
- CS or quantitative degree preferred
Bonus points:
- Experience with ClickHouse, analytics databases, or building complex data visualizations
- Former founder or early startup experience
- Contributions to popular open source projects
- ML/AI background or familiarity with the LLM framework ecosystem
No candidate checks all boxes. If you feel you are a good fit for this role, please go ahead and apply.

WHY BACKEND ENGINEERING AT LANGFUSE
Your work will have an outsized impact.
Langfuse ingests terabytes of AI tracing data per day. When a Fortune 50 company instruments their application with Langfuse, they hit the infrastructure you built. Everything you ship is open source and immediately visible.
The core of your role is making Langfuse fast and affordable at scale: owning the ingestion pipeline, optimizing ClickHouse data models and queries so dashboards load instantly, and building the backend abstractions that let product engineers ship data-heavy features without reinventing the plumbing each time.
You will also make sure Langfuse runs everywhere. You’ll operate Langfuse Cloud across multiple production environments, and make self-hosting effortless. You will support a single Docker Compose setup to enterprise-grade Helm chart deployment.
You won’t be solving these problems alone. Langfuse is now part of ClickHouse, which means the people who built the database you’re optimizing are one channel away. Few backend roles give you that kind of access to the internals of your core datastore.
YOU WILL GROW AT LANGFUSE BY
- Own and optimize our ingestion pipeline: Langfuse ingests massive volumes of tracing data through a pipeline that flows from our API to ClickHouse. You'll work on throughput, latency, reliability, and cost efficiency at every stage of this pipeline.
- Make ClickHouse fast: our tracing data lives in ClickHouse. You'll design schemas, optimize merge strategies, tune batch inserts, write and review analytical queries that power dashboards and the UI. You'll become an expert on ClickHouse internals — and you'll have the ClickHouse database engineering team one channel away.
- Build new infrastructure-heavy features: things like LLM-as-a-Judge (where we post-process large volumes of ingested data asynchronously), alerting at scale, client-code execution, or batch dataset operations. Build the foundation and, if you like, dip your toes into the frontend for those.
- Test with real data in production: when evaluating a new ClickHouse schema, migration, or query optimization, you'll run load tests against production data to validate that changes actually improve things. We don't guess at performance. We prototype new table designs, run them in parallel on real traffic, and compare before committing.
- Scale for what's next: we're growing fast and new product directions like complex long-running agent observability and real-time evaluation push the infrastructure in new ways. You'll be thinking ahead about what breaks at 10x scale.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong backend engineer who gets excited about database internals, query optimization, and distributed systems
- You get excited when working with a ton of data
- Experience with analytical databases, data pipelines, or high-throughput event processing. ClickHouse experience is a big plus but not required
- You organize yourself. You have strong opinions about what to build and how to ship it
- Comfortable reading and writing TypeScript (our backend) and SQL
- Interest in open source software and genuine enjoyment talking to users about their scaling challenges
- Thrives in a small, accountable team where your output is visible and matters
- CS or quantitative degree preferred
Bonus points:
- Experience with ClickHouse, other OLAP databases, or observability infrastructure
- Former founder
- Background in building data-intensive systems at scale
