The Opportunity
We are a bootstrapped, profitable enterprise SaaS company at $30M ARR with a clear trajectory to $100M. We have built the only 100% natively-architected platform in our ecosystem for DevSecOps, Data Protection, and Security—serving Fortune 500 enterprises across regulated industries including financial services, healthcare, government, and hospitality. Our customer base includes household-name brands, and our five-product portfolio creates significant expansion and cross-sell opportunity.
We are not looking for a CRO who will spend six months “assessing the landscape.” We need a proven operator who has personally scaled a SaaS business from $20–40M to $100M+ ARR, who understands that profitable growth is non-negotiable, and who can build and execute a revenue engine that compounds quarter over quarter. This is a company built by missionaries, not mercenaries—and we expect the same from our CRO.
The Product Portfolio
Our platform consists of five integrated product lines, all built 100% natively within the Salesforce ecosystem. This native architecture is a core competitive differentiator—no external servers, no third-party middleware, no security exposure points:
DevOps — End-to-end release management, version control, CI/CD, and automated deployments for Salesforce environments. Designed for enterprise-scale complexity with full audit trails and compliance controls.
Backup & Archive — Complete data protection with automated backup scheduling, granular recovery, and intelligent archival capabilities that help enterprises manage data lifecycle and reduce storage costs.
Trust Center (Security & Compliance) — Proactive security scanning, vulnerability detection, and compliance monitoring that gives regulated enterprises real-time visibility into the health and security posture of their Salesforce environments.
Data Seeding — Intelligent test data management that enables enterprises to create realistic, anonymized datasets for sandbox and development environments without exposing production data.
DevOps for Veeva — Purpose-built release management for life sciences organizations running Veeva CRM on the Salesforce platform, addressing the unique regulatory and validation requirements of pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
The company has also integrated AI-powered capabilities into the platform, enabling intelligent automation across the DevOps lifecycle. The multi-product portfolio creates a powerful land-and-expand motion: the average deal size is increasing, and the cross-sell opportunity across the five product lines is substantial and largely untapped.
Requirements
Core Responsibilities
Revenue Strategy & Execution
Own the full revenue number: new business, expansion, renewal, and retention across all segments (Enterprise, Mid-Market, and emerging PLG).
Design and execute the go-to-market strategy to scale from $30M to $100M ARR within 3–4 years while maintaining profitability.
Build and operationalize a quarterly planning cadence with bottoms-up forecasting, pipeline coverage models, and segment-level unit economics tracking.
Establish minimum deal size thresholds and systematically prune low-value accounts that dilute team capacity and drag down margins.
Drive cross-sell and upsell motions across the five-product portfolio, increasing average contract value and multi-product adoption rates.
Pipeline & Demand Generation
Build a scalable, multi-channel demand generation engine spanning outbound prospecting, content marketing, digital campaigns, events, partner referrals, and product-led growth.
Own pipeline coverage ratios and ensure 3–4x pipeline-to-quota coverage at all times across segments.
Implement rigorous pipeline inspection and deal management processes with weekly forecasting reviews, stage-gate criteria, and data-driven coaching.
Personally engage in strategic pipeline development for enterprise accounts, including executive-to-executive relationship building.
Product-Led Growth & Innovation
Design and execute a PLG motion that creates a self-service entry point into the platform, converting free or low-cost users into enterprise contracts.
Build the instrumentation, analytics, and product-sales handoff processes required to identify and convert PLG-qualified leads into sales-assisted opportunities.
Develop innovative go-to-market strategies that differentiate the company from competitors relying on traditional sales motions, including community-led growth and ecosystem-based strategies.
Enterprise Sales & Large Deal Execution
Personally lead and close strategic enterprise deals with Fortune 500 accounts, particularly in regulated industries with complex procurement and compliance requirements.
Penetrate large enterprise accounts through multi-threaded relationships, executive sponsorship, and value-based selling that ties platform outcomes to business-critical KPIs.
Build and manage a structured enterprise deal process including discovery frameworks, mutual close plans, executive business reviews, and competitive displacement playbooks.
Develop an account-based strategy for the top 50 target accounts with dedicated pursuit plans, relationship maps, and executive engagement cadences.
Customer Retention & Expansion
Drive gross revenue retention from current levels to 92%+ through proactive customer health monitoring, risk identification, and executive intervention processes.
Own the net revenue retention number, targeting 110%+ through systematic expansion and cross-sell into the installed base.
Establish executive-level relationships with top accounts, ensuring strategic alignment and long-term partnership positioning.
Implement a structured customer lifecycle management process from onboarding through renewal, with clear ownership, milestones, and escalation paths.
Global Team Leadership
Lead and scale a global revenue organization encompassing Sales (Enterprise and Mid-Market), Marketing (Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Field Marketing), Business Development (SDR/BDR), Customer Success, and Revenue Operations.
Build a performance-driven culture with clear accountability, transparent metrics, and a low-tolerance approach to underperformance—while maintaining a supportive, coaching-oriented environment for top performers.
Recruit, develop, and retain A-level talent across all revenue functions, with a particular emphasis on hiring missionaries who demonstrate ownership mentality and independent judgment.
Manage distributed teams across time zones with disciplined operating rhythms, clear communication protocols, and consistent performance management.
Unit Economics & Profitable Growth
Maintain and improve unit economics as the company scales: CAC payback under 18 months, LTV-to-CAC ratio above 3x, and gross margins consistent with best-in-class SaaS benchmarks.
Make resource allocation decisions based on data, not instinct—investing in segments, channels, and motions that demonstrate efficient returns and pulling back from those that do not.
Provide the CEO and board with clear, honest reporting on revenue performance, pipeline health, retention trends, and forward-looking indicators.
Required Qualifications
Proven track record scaling a B2B SaaS company from $20–40M to $100M+ ARR as CRO, VP of Sales, or equivalent revenue leadership role.
Direct, personal experience closing six- and seven-figure enterprise deals with Fortune 500 or equivalent large enterprise customers.
Experience leading a global, multi-functional revenue organization including Sales, Marketing, and Business Development with 50+ total team members.
Demonstrated ability to build and operate a demand generation engine that produces predictable, inspectable pipeline across multiple channels.
Deep understanding of modern SaaS unit economics including CAC, LTV, payback period, gross margin, GRR, and NRR—with evidence of running a profitable or capital-efficient operation.
Experience implementing or scaling a product-led growth motion alongside traditional enterprise sales.
Track record of improving gross revenue retention to 90%+ and net revenue retention to 110%+ at scale.
Experience selling into regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, government, life sciences) with complex compliance and security requirements.
Minimum 15 years of progressive revenue leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a CRO or equivalent role.
Strongly Preferred
Experience in the Salesforce ecosystem or adjacent enterprise platform ecosystems.
Background in DevOps, DevSecOps, or developer tools with an understanding of how technical buyers evaluate and adopt platform solutions.
Experience at a bootstrapped or capital-efficient company (not solely venture-backed hypergrowth environments where profitability was not a constraint).
Familiarity with multi-product portfolio selling and the orchestration of cross-sell and land-and-expand motions.
Experience building and leveraging executive communities or advisory boards as a strategic GTM channel.
History of competitive displacement wins against well-funded or market-leading competitors.
This role is not for everyone. It is for someone who has done this before—not someone who believes they can figure it out. It is for someone who runs toward problems, not away from them. Someone who holds themselves to a higher standard than anyone else could impose. Someone who understands that in a bootstrapped, profitable company, every decision carries real weight and every dollar matters.
If you are that person, we want to hear from you.
Benefits
Competitive compensation, incentive structure, and company equity
Daily coaching, mentorship, and growth opportunity
Remote-first team!
Be part of a global, mission-driven team
Learn from top leaders in Salesforce DevOps and SaaS sales
Work on exciting challenges in a rapidly growing industry
Unlimited Flex Time Off Plan + All Major holidays
Compensation & Structure
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and structured to reward performance:
Competitive base salary reflecting the CRO-level scope and enterprise SaaS benchmarks.
Significant performance-based variable compensation tied to bookings, retention, and profitability targets—not vanity metrics.
Equity participation with meaningful upside tied to the $30M-to-$100M growth trajectory.
Clear quarterly milestone structure with transparent measurement and payout criteria.

An overview of this role
As Director, Social Media, you'll lead GitLab's global social media strategy and help people understand how GitLab is co-creating the future of software development. The role shapes how GitLab shows up across social channels, connecting our company, product, and employer stories, to build meaningful engagement with customers, users, contributors, candidates, and industry audiences. Expect to set clear priorities, guide execution, and use insights to strengthen GitLab's voice and business impact. You'll own the outcomes of GitLab's social function — strategy, budget, team development, tooling, and results — and serve as GitLab's senior-most voice on social strategy with executive stakeholders.
This is a player-coach role. You'll set the strategy and stay close enough to the work to write, build, and ship alongside the team. Two Social Media Managers report to the head of corporate communication and work with you on a dotted-line basis. You'll set their strategic direction, raise the editorial and craft bar, and develop them as practitioners, including goal-setting, feedback, and career development in partnership with their manager. Influence matters in this role, which is why it calls for someone who has already led and grown social practitioners.
What you’ll do
Own the performance of GitLab's social function and its contribution to marketing and business goals.
Lead GitLab's global organic social media strategy, channel plans, and editorial priorities.
Own GitLab's YouTube strategy end to end — channel architecture, programming and series development, long- and short-form video, packaging (titles, thumbnails, metadata), search and recommendation optimization, and subscriber and watch-time growth.
Partner with Growth Marketing on paid social, including briefing creative, aligning organic and paid on shared audiences and messaging, informing boosting and amplification decisions, and connecting paid performance back to organic strategy.
Develop clear, audience-focused campaigns that support company, product, brand, and talent goals.
Guide content planning and publishing across social channels while maintaining a consistent GitLab voice.
Own the social media budget, tooling stack, and agency, freelance, and production partner relationships.
Partner with teams across Marketing, Communications, Product, Sales, Talent Acquisition, and other functions to plan and deliver social programs.
Build processes that support effective collaboration in GitLab's all-remote, asynchronous environment.
Use social listening, audience insights, and performance data to improve content and inform broader marketing decisions.
Lead the measurement framework for social — KPIs, dashboards, and reporting cadence — and report performance and learnings to marketing and executive leadership.
Partner with DevRel on community engagement to help GitLab participate in relevant industry conversations with a clear, useful point of view.
Build and run creator, influencer, and advocacy programs, including developer creators, GitLab community contributors, and team member advocacy.
Own GitLab's employee advocacy program — grow participation across Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and Talent, equip team members with content worth sharing, and measure reach, engagement, and contribution to brand and talent goals. Partner with Communications and Talent Acquisition on enablement, and manage the advocacy platform and its adoption.
Support executive and expert social presence, partnering with Communications to help GitLab leaders and technical experts show up credibly on social, including constructive conversations with C-suite executives about proposed content.
Apply AI tools thoughtfully across the social workflow to help GitLab model what an AI-native marketing team looks like.
Prepare for and guide responses to sensitive or fast-moving issues in partnership with the appropriate teams.
What you’ll bring
10+ years in social media, including at least 5 years leading social strategy for a global brand at the senior manager level or above, and accountable for the function's results.
Experience owning a social function end to end, including strategy, budget, headcount, tooling, and results as the accountable leader.
Experience leading teams, agencies, and cross-functional programs, with clear ownership of and accountability for outcomes.
Depth in YouTube strategy, including owning and growing a brand or business channel, and can speak to programming decisions, video formats, packaging, and the metrics that actually move a channel.
Hands-on experience growing LinkedIn and X as primary channels, with judgment about what content, format, and cadence work on each.
Experience with paid social programs and how organic and paid social reinforce each other, including creative for paid, audience strategy, and interpreting paid performance data.
Experience connecting social media programs to broader brand, communications, product, or business priorities.
Strong editorial judgment and the ability to turn complex topics into clear, engaging content.
Fluency with short-form and long-form video as core social formats, including working with production partners and creators.
Experience defining a measurement framework for social, including KPIs, dashboards, and reporting cadence, and presenting performance, learnings, and recommendations to executive leadership on a standing basis.
Experience building or scaling an employee advocacy program, including driving adoption across multiple functions, sustaining participation beyond launch, and reporting attributed reach and business contribution
Fluency with an enterprise social stack for publishing, listening, and advocacy. Ours is Sprout Social, Meltwater, and EveryoneSocial.
Experience running social programs across multiple regions and languages, and judgment about what to localize versus centralize.
Skill in managing multiple priorities and making sound decisions in fast-moving situations.
A collaborative, inclusive approach and the ability to work effectively in a distributed, asynchronous environment.
Passion about GitLab's mission and the future of software development, open source, artificial intelligence, and DevSecOps.
About the team
This role is part of GitLab's Marketing organization and works across teams to present a clear, consistent company voice on social media. The team collaborates asynchronously with partners across regions and functions, balancing planned campaigns with timely engagement. Together, you'll help audiences understand GitLab's platform, mission, values, and impact.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role:
The Safeguards ML Inference Path team designs, builds, and operates the production infrastructure that powers Claude's ML based safety systems. We collaborate closely with safety researchers and inference engineers to bring new classifiers and novel classes of ML defenses to production. We own the research → production transfer of new safety technologies that is on the critical path for every Claude model launch. And we build for scale: serving thousands of ML classifiers, for all requests on the token generation path, and for every platform Claude runs on -- 1P, Bedrock, Vertex, and beyond.
We’re growing the team and looking for engineers who have deep expertise in productionizing ML systems. You'll work at the intersection of machine learning, large-scale distributed systems, and AI safety, developing the platforms and tools that enable our safeguards to operate reliably at scale. And your tooling and infrastructure will be used for every model launch, which are becoming more complex, and more frequent.
Responsibilities:
Design and build scalable ML infrastructure to support real-time safety deployments across our classifier and model ecosystem
Build monitoring and observability tools to track classifier performance, data quality, and system health for safety-critical applications
Collaborate with research teams to productionize safety research, translating experimental safety techniques into robust, scalable systems
Optimize inference latency and throughput for real-time safety evaluations while maintaining high reliability standards
Implement automated testing, deployment, and rollback systems for ML models in production safety applications
Partner with Safeguards, Security, and Alignment teams to understand requirements and deliver infrastructure that meets safety and production needs
Contribute to the development of internal tools and frameworks that accelerate safety research and deployment
You may be a good fit if you:

Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!

The Safeguards ML Sampling Path team builds and operates the production services that power Claude's safety systems. These services sit on the token generation path across every platform Claude runs on: every request must pass through them, and each millisecond of added latency is wait time for our users. You’ll keep p99 latency flat as traffic grows, build for robustness as dependencies time out or partially fail, and ship changes safely to a system that cannot go down.
What you'll do:
Design, build, and operate the backend systems that process every token on the generation path for Claude requests, including the streaming contract with the API and inference engines.
Own latency and reliability end to end: define and maintain SLOs and error budgets for added latency, time-to-first-token, and availability, and lead incident response and postmortem follow-through.
Ship changes to the hot path rapidly but safely — canaried and gradual rollouts, error budget and latency gating, fast rollbacks — and drive per-token performance: chase tail latency and keep cost flat as traffic, models, and checks per request grow.
Set technical direction for the sampling path: lead design reviews, make latency, reliability, and cost trade-off calls with the inference and research teams, mentor engineers, and raise the operational bar for the wider Safeguards organization.
You may be a good fit if you:
Have designed, built, and operated high QPS systems at global scale, and were accountable for them in production: incident response, outages, and postmortem-driven remediation.
Have a strong foundation in distributed systems: replication, consistency tradeoffs, failure modes, and SLO management under load.
Design systems for graceful degradation: you plan for a slow dependency, a dropped stream, or a half-rolled-out deploy before it happens, and build so the system degrades predictably instead of failing.
Have successfully shipped broad or all-encompassing changes to mission critical systems (e.g., database migrations, interface changes, rewrites).
Strong candidates may also have:
8+ years of industry software engineering experience.
Familiarity with LLM inference systems and transformer-based models (not required, but a plus).

An overview of this role
As a Senior or Staff Backend Engineer with the
Database Excellence group
, you'll build and evolve database automation and PostgreSQL as a service capabilities for GitLab. The level will be determined during the hiring process. You'll use Go to automate the full lifecycle of PostgreSQL across GitLab's infrastructure, making database operations safer, more consistent, and easier to scale for databases that sit behind high-throughput, always-on internet services. You'll work closely with partner teams to shape how GitLab provisions and manages PostgreSQL in a fully remote, highly collaborative environment.
Some examples of our projects:
SQL Traffic Replay Tooling
, which validates upgrades and changes against real production workloads.
PostgreSQL as a Service Platform
, which provides standardized, automated provisioning and lifecycle management for internal product databases.
PostgreSQL Major Version Upgrade Automation
, which supports safe, repeatable major upgrades at GitLab.com scale.
What you’ll do
Design, build, and maintain Go-based automation that manages the full PostgreSQL lifecycle, including provisioning, configuration, upgrades, failover, scaling, and decommissioning, reducing reactive operational work that currently takes more than 80% of the team's time.
Build automation that works across infrastructure-as-code tooling and cloud infrastructure, and evaluate operator-based approaches as the platform evolves.
Use AI agents as a regular part of building and operating services, including implementation, review, and reducing repetitive work, while keeping the context agents need in the repository so the whole team can build on it.
Build for internet scale by designing automation and services for high-throughput, always-on production workloads, where GitLab.com traffic sets the bar for correctness, latency, and availability.
Integrate compute, storage, networking, identity and access management, and managed data services across cloud providers into one coherent PostgreSQL platform instead of creating bespoke setups for each database.
Build GitLab's PostgreSQL as a service platform to replace bespoke database setups with standardized, automated provisioning and lifecycle management, so supporting more databases doesn't require growing the operations team at the same rate.
Collaborate closely with product management, infrastructure, software delivery, and other engineering teams to design and ship high-performing solutions.
Research, design, and implement improvements to PostgreSQL performance, scalability, and data health, helping maintain more than 8 months of operational runway for all critical database saturation points.
Review database automation and Go changes from other engineers and contributors, with attention to safety, maintainability, and performance.
Document automation practices, PostgreSQL operational patterns, and guidance that helps engineers use and contribute to the platform.
Build safe, repeatable automation for PostgreSQL major version upgrades at GitLab.com scale, validating changes against real production traffic before rollout.
Operate what you build in production from end to end, using production feedback to guide each iteration.
What you’ll bring
Professional software engineering experience working with PostgreSQL in large, complex production environments, including experience building or operating a database-as-a-service product.
Proficiency with Go, including designing, implementing, testing, and reviewing backend services.
Experience developing Kubernetes operators, controllers, or similar automation for the lifecycle of stateful services, especially databases. Kubernetes experience is one way to demonstrate this skill, but isn't required; comparable experience building database or infrastructure automation is welcome.
Comfort with infrastructure as code and core database operations concepts such as high availability, replication, backups, and system-level performance trade-offs.
Familiarity with Ruby is a plus but isn't required. Much of GitLab's application codebase uses Ruby on Rails, and being able to read it helps when designing automation that application teams depend on. We’ll expect you to become comfortable with it on the job, not on day one.
Strong written communication skills and comfort working asynchronously in an all-remote, distributed team.
Self-directed work style with effective organizational skills, the ability to manage priorities as a "manager of one," and alignment with GitLab's values of transparency, collaboration, inclusion, and open source contribution, as well as its
operating principles
.
Ownership of the technical direction for a major initiative such as the PostgreSQL as a service platform, turning an ambiguous problem into an architecture and a sequenced plan that several engineers can execute in parallel.
Influence beyond the team, setting the patterns other engineers follow, partnering with sibling database, infrastructure, and platform teams, and growing engineers through design reviews and mentorship.

Why work at Higgsfield AI?
Higgsfield AI https://higgsfield.aiis the fastest-scaling generative AI company in history, hitting $500M in annual revenue run rate, 25M+ users worldwide, 6M+ generations per day, and powering 390 of Fortune 500 brands.
We’re building at the absolute frontier of AI-powered video creation and next-generation creative tools. Joining Higgsfield means becoming part of a high-impact team shaping the future of AI-native experiences, at a company that isn’t just moving fast, but rewriting what fast looks like.
WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS
Higgsfield has grown roughly 35x in the last twelve months. 390 of the Fortune 500 are already on the product, and the adoption patterns look like nothing that came before — teams find us, adopt us and expand without anyone selling to them. That’s what an AI-native product does, and it’s how the company is built: small teams, no inherited process, decisions made in hours rather than quarters.
The opportunity now is to take that industry by industry. Advertising. Entertainment. Gaming. Retail. E-commerce. Each one is a category where a single person can go in, land the anchor accounts and own the vertical outright.
We’re hiring hunters for that. Not account managers working inbound — people who pick a vertical, build the target list themselves, and take it.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Own global B2B partnerships
- Drive the full partnership lifecycle end to end — sourcing, pitching, structuring, negotiating and closing deals with international partners.
- Build and scale the partnerships pipeline across key markets. You own the target list, not just the deals handed to you.
- This role travels: partners, in their market, in person.
Lead commercial execution
- Own revenue targets and deliver against multi-million-dollar goals.
- Structure complex deals, paid pilots and multi-year strategic agreements.
- Restart stalled deals because you decided to, not because a process told you to.
Shape strategy and go-to-market
- Identify high-value use cases with partners and translate Higgsfield’s capabilities into outcomes they can defend inside their own organisation.
- Design partnership models, pricing structures and GTM approaches from scratch.
- Switch verticals fast — a media holding this month, a consumer brand the next, a platform after that.
Own accounts and grow them
- Build durable relationships at C-level with founders, operators and decision-makers.
- Drive expansion, upsell and new revenue streams inside existing accounts.
- Carry the full commercial picture: what a deal books and what it costs us to serve.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years in enterprise sales, business development or partnerships, closing complex multi-million-dollar deals you personally sourced and negotiated.
- At least 3 years working in international markets — at a global company, or in a role where you owned deals or operations across multiple countries.
- Experience at a company that scaled aggressively, where daily progress was expected and intensity was normal.
- You hold both sides of the business in your head. You can say what a partnership earns and what it costs to deliver in the same sentence.
- Comfortable with almost no structure. You’ll get context and access, not process.
- Heavy international travel.
- Fluent English and Russian.
Nice to have
- Sold into enterprise media, advertising, entertainment or consumer brands.
- Ran a P&L, a market or a vertical as a GM or country lead.
- Broke into an international agency or global commercial organisation as a non-native speaker.
WHAT WE WEIGH OVER BRAND NAMES
We optimise for intensity and ownership. Three deals you actually built beats a decorated CV of roles you inherited, and a thin LinkedIn profile is not a problem here — several of our strongest people have one. If your best work isn’t visible online, tell us about it in your application.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive base salary in USD, based on your experience, skills, and the scope of the role.
- Equity participation through the company’s stock option program, giving you the opportunity to share in Higgsfield’s long-term growth.
- Relocation support for candidates moving from another city or country.
- A highly collaborative, fast-paced environment where you can work directly with experienced leaders and have a meaningful impact on the product and company.
- Opportunities for professional growth, ownership, and career development as the company scales.
- Company-provided equipment, meals, transportation, and other office benefits.
Location: Almaty or San Francisco (onsite), with heavy international travel and regular trips to the other hub. Our team works from the office six days per week. We believe in-person collaboration is an important part of how we move quickly, solve complex problems, and build strong teams.
Also hiring: GM, Strategic Partnerships — same seniority, focused on GPU and compute economics, financial planning and investor-facing strategy. If your background leans consulting or corporate finance, or you come from the cloud and compute world, apply there https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/higgsfieldai/00807c29-404b-4267-9089-40f031bfc6d1 instead.

MEET THE TEAM 👥
Here at Cleo, we have ~70 Data Scientists (Product Analysts) working embedded into our Pillars ✨ They stay connected and share knowledge consistently through monthly meetings and slack channels to scale approaches and ensure everyone learns in the same way. They thrive through clear communication with their squad and stakeholders to influence product or company decisions, being that bridge between the non-tech and technical sides of the team. We have deeply structured data and a great experimentation culture using StatSig for all analysts to dive into!
ABOUT THE ROLE ✍️
We're hiring a senior analytics leader to own the analytics strategy and operating model across Cleo's Financial Services Product pillars. You'll lead and develop the analytics leadership layer itself - L4/L5 managers and senior ICs - setting company-level standards for metrics, experimentation, and reporting across pillars.
- Own the analytics strategy and operating model across Financial Services Product pillars - coherent measurement, experimentation, and insight cadence mapped to company priorities
- Lead and develop the analytics leadership layer (L4/L5 managers and senior ICs), building a strong bench, growth plans, and succession so the function doesn't rely on any single person
- Drive the experimentation programme as a product - fixing structural issues like single source of truth, standard bucketing, automated conflict detection, sizing and priors - and raise the bar on rigour across squads
- Improve observability of live user flows and metric movements, partnering with Engineering on the event framework and product-health reporting

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 🕵️
- 8+ years in data analytics, data science, BI engineering, or analytics engineering, ideally in a high-growth, product-led company
- Proven management experience of at least 4+ ICs
- Deep experimentation expertise beyond stat-sig testing - fixing structural problems in a testing programme: bucketing, conflicts/collisions, sizing, priors, governance
- A builder's instinct: bias for automation, ownership, and shipping
- Ability to set standards and an operating model that teams actually adopt, measurably improving delivery beyond a single team
- Commercial sense - can translate product/user metrics into revenue, profitability, and LTV, and hold your own with Product Directors and Commercial stakeholders
- Systems thinker, comfortable in a mature, complex product environment with interacting parts (e.g. payments, credit risk, ML models feeding user experience)
- Exec-ready storytelling - can synthesise across pillars, land insight at the right moment, and set and defend targets with senior stakeholders
- Player-coach instinct - creates leverage through delegation, templates, and self-serve, but goes hands-on on the highest-leverage or most ambiguous problems when needed
- Comfortable using AI tools (Claude, Cursor) as leverage, with the judgement to know when to trust output and when to verify
- Interest in fintech and Cleo's mission to make money easier and more human
- Nice to have: causal inference depth (CUPED, Bayesian methods, PSM, uplift modelling) and the judgement to know when it's worth the effort
- Nice to have: genuine enthusiasm for agentic AI as a force multiplier in analytics workflows
- Nice to have: credit-risk analytics exposure - arrears, defaults, how ML risk models interact with product analytics and UX
- Nice to have: fintech, personal finance, lending, or high-growth consumer subscription experience
