Location: Remote About GiveDirectly What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need? Since 2011, GiveDirectly has proven that idea at scale. We’ve delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty and crisis across 15 countries, and rigorous research shows the results: healthier kids, stronger businesses, sturdier homes, and more resilient families and local economies. Cash is now widely recognized as one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid. Our ambition goes beyond our own programs. We want cash to become the benchmark for aid, much as the index fund became the benchmark for investing, so that every aid dollar is held to one question: is this doing more good than giving the money directly to people living in poverty? We’re growing fast, and this is a rare and important moment to join. We expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. At the same time we are building a new technology stack and operating model designed for a roughly 10x change in scale, and we are actively pursuing partnerships with major funders to move even more money in bigger ways, to people who need it. We are known for our extensive integration of technology into field processes; our quantitative approach to performance measurement; and our commitment to rigorous, independent, experimental evaluation of our impact, with multiple Randomized Control Trials completed and others in progress. How we work Our team spans 20+ countries and 69 languages. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We expect high ownership and give people real responsibility early. Our values are central to how we hire, work, and grow, and they are deliberately opinionated: Recipients first. Recipients’ preferences come before those of donors or ourselves. Team next. We optimize for organizational success, not individual success. Be proactively candid. We say what we believe and share information openly. Create positive energy. We aim to be a source of energy for colleagues, not a drain. Think rigorously; act quickly. We reason from first principles, then act rather than debate. Know yourself and grow. We own our imperfections and seek feedback to grow. Accept reality. Propose solutions. We focus on what can change and bring solutions, not just problems. Be productively ambitious. We take risks for step-change impact, not incremental progress. If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit. Want to learn more? Read and listen: We are one of Time100’s Most Influential Companies of 2026, and our work has been covered by The Economist , NPR , TED , and The Washington Post . We're now preparing to deliver billions of dollars a year to people in extreme poverty, if funding allows. Read our CEO's essay on what that will take. About this role: Are you an experienced engineer at the stage of your career where, above all, you want to do good? This role is about using engineering to support fundraising: delighting our donors; helping our fundraisers; getting donations recorded and safely started on their journey to our recipients; telling donors and the public about what happens to their gifts. A bit of website development. A lot of plumbing. The good news about this position: You will make a difference to people in extreme poverty You will work independently, with few constraints You will work directly with lovely people from across our fundraising teams The trade-offs: There is only one other fundraising engineer and mostly you will be working on your own Our technology is a mixture of boring (Laravel, PHP, plain JS, HTML and CSS) and legacy (Salesforce, Wordpress, wrangling CSV files sent by our partners) We're growing, but this is a role for someone who values depth and impact over a fast title ladder. The maybe good maybe bad news about the role depending on who you are: We are all in on AI where it allows us to get more $ to people in extreme poverty If you want a role where you will be part of a bigger engineering team, working in Python or working on more complex tasks, then please take a look at our other engineering roles . This role is right for you if: You care about our mission You agree with our values You have the right to work in one of the countries we're able to hire from (you can check the current list here ). You're happy working remotely, and taking meetings across East Africa Time and US Eastern Time. You are happy to travel to meet your colleagues in the US, Europe and Africa a few weeks a year You are fluent in English You have 4+ years of engineering experience You're happy working autonomously: defining what needs doing, doing it, getting it tested and launched, fixing the bugs, and hustling to make progress every day. You're comfortable being on-call on peak donation days (Giving Tuesday and the last weeks of the year), including owning an incident: working out what matters, communicating with fundraisers, and debugging on legacy and others' code, sometimes when no other engineers are available. You are happy with our boring and legacy technologies (Laravel, PHP, plain JS, HTML, CSS, Salesforce, Wordpress, SQL, wrangling csv files etc). You don’t have to be experienced in all of them, but you do have to be genuinely happy to use them (many engineers are not…). You are happy and skilled at working directly with non-engineers on messy, poorly defined, rapidly changing, sometimes boring tasks Compensation At GiveDirectly, we strive to pay our employees generously and equitably. We use an accredited third party salary aggregator to calculate what we believe to be competitive pay based on role, location, and cost of living. We also have a no negotiation policy to ensure we are paying staff equitably across roles. Read more about our compensation philosophy here . Keep the team's on-call rotation sustainable through coverage across time zones, useful runbooks, better alerts, and follow-through on post-incident actions. This is an exciting time in our trajectory, we’ve closed Series D funding, scaled past the 200-person mark, and were named to Forbes’ America’s Best Startups of 2022 and 2023! If you want to see what we’ve been up to, please check out these blog posts and Honeycomb.io press releases . Who We Are We come for the impact, and stay for the culture! We’re a talented, opinionated, passionate, fiercely inclusive, and responsible group of bees. We have conviction and we strive to live our values every day. We want our people to do what they truly love amongst a team of highly talented (but humble) peers. How We Work We are a fully distributed company, which means we believe it is not where you sit, but how you deliver that matters most. We invest in our people and care about how you orient to our culture and processes. At the same time we imbue a lot of trust, autonomy, and accountability from Day 1. #LI-Remote Little more about the team: AI agents at Honeycomb investigate, reason, and act on real observability data. They live in Canvas: the agentic workspace where engineers go to understand their systems. The Agentic Intelligence team has shipped Canvas, the Honeycomb MCP server, and the Canvas Agent and Canvas Skills surfaces. What we're looking for today is someone who brings deep agent expertise and uses it to expand what the team can build: new agents, new surface area in Canvas, memory, spatial awareness, improved performance on our Bedrock loop. Honeycomb's data store is fast and accepts high cardinality data; that's what makes agents built on top of it different from anything built on a conventional observability backend. This role is about taking advantage of that building agents that can do things no other observability product can do because the underlying data makes it possible. Some of this work will start as a prototype. The expectation is that the code makes it through the full arc, from the rough first version through to something that holds up in production. What you'll do Design and deliver production-grade agents. Build agents that investigate, reason, and act on live observability data inside Canvas. These agents must be trustworthy to engineers in high pressure situations, including mid-incident. Take one from rough first version to something that holds up under production traffic. Own the agent work; support the whole product. Scope, build, ship, and maintain the agents including the evals that tell you whether they got better or are just different. This role is agent-focused and also includes some fullstack development. Build agents only Honeycomb can build. Use a data store that returns high-cardinality queries in seconds to reason over signal a conventional backend can't serve at this fidelity correlating across services, drilling into a single trace, comparing before and after a deploy. Extend the surface, and decide what's next. Ship new capability into Canvas, the MCP server, and Canvas Skills memory, spatial awareness, a faster Bedrock loop and make the case for what comes after with working code. Distinguish hype from signal in a field with plenty of both. Define what "good" means for agents here. Set the bar: measurable against real evals, maintainable, and honest about their limits. Example projects Multiple agents collaborating on one shared Canvas investigation each claiming a hypothesis, publishing findings, and narrowing the search space for the others so it resolves faster (blog). Auto-investigation the moment an SLO burn alert fires the agent forms hypotheses and prepares visualizations before a human looks, cutting mean-time-to-insight for on-call (o11ycon 2026). Skills that encode a team's domain expertise e.g. Kubernetes thresholds so agents and human colleagues can lean on them (o11ycon 2026). What you'll bring: AI and agent engineering experience. You've shipped LLM-based systems people relied on in production not demos, not fine-tuned models in a research context. You know where agent systems break and how to design around it. End-to-end ownership. On a small team there's no handoff queue. You can take something from rough prototype to production-grade without needing someone behind you to do the durable engineering. Current judgment, not just past experience. You have informed opinions about what's shifted in agent design in the last six to twelve months that would change how you'd build today. Agent architecture depth. You understand how a fast, high-cardinality data store changes what an agent can reason about, and how to design for that. Product judgment. You can look at what the agent layer does today and see what it should do next and make that case with a prototype, not a deck. Even better Observability or developer-tools background. Engineers are your users; you'll ramp faster with fluency in that world, and the work is better. Familiarity with eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG, and prompt engineering. Base Salary based on level of experience $250,000 — $280,000 CAD What you'll get when you join the Hive: A stake in our success - generous equity with employee-friendly stock program It’s not about how strong of a negotiator you are - our pay is based on transparent levels relative to experience Time to recharge with unlimited PTO A distributed-first mindset and culture (really!) Home office, co-working, and internet stipend Full benefits coverage for employees, with additional coverage available for dependents Up to 16 weeks of paid parental leave, regardless of path to parenthood Annual development allowance And much more... Location: San Francisco, CA | New York City, NY About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role As a Marketing Analytics Lead at Anthropic, you will own how we measure marketing. You'll build and run a single measurement framework that shows how marketing activity turns into pipeline, revenue, and product usage, and you'll make that framework something marketers and executives actually use to make decisions. As our marketing programs grow across enterprise and product-led motions, your work will determine whether we invest in what works. In this role, you'll own the marketing measurement framework end to end: the metric definitions, the data models behind them, the dashboards that surface them, and the insights they produce. This is a hands-on individual contributor role; data science and data engineering will support you, but you'll do the core work yourself. You'll partner closely with field marketing, partner marketing, campaign marketing, finance, sales strategy, sales development, data science, and data engineering to align on definitions and keep the whole organization working from one view of the funnel. Key responsibilities Own the marketing measurement framework that connects marketing activity to pipeline, revenue, and product usage Set the direction for the framework and extend it to programs it doesn't cover yet Define marketing metrics clearly and get cross-functional teams to agree on definitions early Build and maintain the data models that power marketing reporting Develop dashboards that marketers and executives rely on in their weekly reviews Teach marketers and executives how the metrics work, and keep teaching as the metrics evolve Lead adoption of the framework so that both marketing and executive teams use it as their shared source of truth Partner with finance, sales strategy, and sales development to connect marketing measurement to the broader revenue picture Find and share the insights nobody asked for, turning analysis into recommendations that change what we do Write analytical SQL on large datasets to answer questions about funnel performance and attribution Track framework gaps and data quality issues, and work with data engineering to resolve them Present findings to marketing leadership and executives in clear, decision-ready formats Minimum qualifications Have deep experience with marketing analytics, including lead funnels, attribution to enterprise pipeline, and product usage measurement Have designed metrics from scratch and know what makes a metric trusted and useful Can write analytical SQL on large datasets with confidence Have built data models in tools like dbt and dashboards that many people use daily Are comfortable setting direction without waiting for a plan to be handed to you Can turn vague questions into clear, measurable definitions Work well across functions and know how to get teams aligned on definitions before problems surface Enjoy teaching others how metrics work and helping non-technical audiences build data fluency Finish what you start, from first definition to adopted dashboard Are excited about Anthropic's mission to develop AI that is safe and beneficial Preferred qualifications Experience building marketing measurement for both enterprise sales-led and product-led growth motions Familiarity with marketing attribution models and their practical tradeoffs Experience presenting metrics and insights directly to executives and shaping how leadership reviews performance A background in data science, analytics engineering, or marketing operations Experience working with CRM and marketing automation data, such as Salesforce and related tooling Experience standing up a measurement practice where one didn't exist before Familiarity with how finance and sales strategy teams think about pipeline and forecasting The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $255,000 — $320,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit anthropic.com/careers directly for confirmed position openings. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. What You'll Do Set and continuously refine the go forward technical direction for CI, CD, Plan, and source code experiences, aligned against the horizontal architectural initiatives. Work directly with the VP of Engineering as her technical counterpart on planning, technical investment, and where the group's engineering effort should go. Translate GitLab's company-wide productivity, quality, and AI native engineering goals into concrete technical direction for Core DevOps, and turn into iterable roadmaps, partnering broadly across the org. Define what good means in measurable terms for these services, including availability, latency at p95 and p99, pipeline success rate, test reliability, data correctness, and defect escape rate, then hold designs and implementations to it. Maintain a clear and current picture of systemic technical risk across the group, including single points of failure, unowned critical paths, brittle coupling between CI/CD and Plan, scaling limits, and past decisions that now constrain the roadmap. Drive a prioritized plan to retire it. Lead the hardest design decisions hands on, writing code, prototypes, and proofs of concept where a design argument needs evidence behind it. Drive convergence on shared patterns, libraries, and paved paths, reducing how many different ways the same problem gets solved across the group. Design migration paths that let large, long lived systems change underneath users without breaking them, using incremental cutover, dual run, measurable rollback, and deprecation with clear timelines. Adopt the platform capabilities coming from GitLab's AI organization and the company's productivity initiatives into Core DevOps, feed this group's requirements back into them, and help prove what works on systems of this scale and maturity. Serve as the escalation point for complex or contested technical decisions across the group, including those where no single team owns the outcome. Review significant designs and merge requests in the group's critical paths, and use review to teach rather than only to gate. Ensure designs hold across GitLab.com, GitLab Dedicated, and Self-Managed deployments, and respect multi-tenant, compliance, and data governance boundaries in each. Partner with Infrastructure, Security, and SRE so Core DevOps services are observable and debuggable, and so failure modes degrade gracefully instead of cascading. Make architectural constraints and opportunities clear to Product in roadmap terms, so that technical investment and product ambition get planned together instead of traded off late. Write clear, opinionated design documents, architecture narratives, and decision records that let teams across the group make aligned decisions independently. Grow Principal and Staff Engineers across Core DevOps, raise the bar on design rigor and technical writing, and contribute to the technical hiring bar for senior individual contributors. Participate in the Incident Management on-call rotation to help meet availability goals for GitLab.com, and complete Interview Training to participate in hiring as a technical interviewer or panel member. What You'll Bring 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years in a Staff, Principal, or equivalent senior technical leadership role. Deep expertise in AI and ML systems, including large language models, agentic frameworks, and autonomous workflow design at production scale. Proven track record of leading hands-on technical experimentation, including defining evaluation frameworks, running benchmarks, and translating findings into scalable architecture decisions. Strong background in scalable, multi-tenant distributed systems, including service decomposition, fault tolerance, observability, and operational resilience. Experience designing and implementing human-in-the-loop controls, safety guardrails, and responsible AI practices for production systems. Experience mentoring senior engineers and influencing technical direction across multiple teams or divisions without direct authority. Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, globally distributed organization with excellent written and asynchronous communication skills. Location: United States What the Role Is As the CS Enablement Program Manager, you’ll be the business owner of the systems that make both our human agents and AI agents effective, starting with the quality and integrity of the knowledge they rely on. As a highly autonomous, high-judgment IC, you’ll build and continuously improve the knowledge base, SOPs, training, and AI-powered workflows that underpin Customer Support across Babylist and Babylist Health. You’ll bring deep operational rigor and a strong understanding of how AI is changing customer support—using the technology in your own work while designing systems that make it more effective across the organization. This is a greenfield opportunity to build the CS Enablement function at a tech-first consumer company: identifying where knowledge, policies, and workflows break down, and partnering across CS, BizOps Tech, Product, and Analytics to build a support system that gets smarter and more reliable as we scale. Who You Are Deep expertise in Support Operations, Enablement, or Knowledge Management : you've owned documentation, workflows, and operational strategy in high-volume environments. Can build and manage a knowledge base from scratch (Zendesk, Gladly, Help Scout, Notion, Guru, or similar), organizing content and maintaining accuracy at scale so both humans and AI systems can use it effectively. Can design for a hybrid AI-agent and human-agent support organization : structuring content for AI consumption, writing effective prompts, evaluating output quality, and calling the line between what's automated and what stays human-owned. Can write clear, usable SOPs for complex, multi-step, or edge-case scenarios, and know when to automate them instead. Can build and deliver training that actually changes how people work : onboarding, process rollouts, tool adoption, AI workflow enablement. Strong analytical instincts : you can read support data (ticket trends, contact drivers, resolution times) and turn it into decisions about what to fix, automate, or rebuild. Comfortable being the first person to do this job. This space doesn't have an established playbook in customer support yet, you'll be creating it. Effective cross-functional partner who can work with BizOps, Product, Analytics, and engineering-adjacent teams to drive real change, not just executing within your own lane. Demonstrated track record of using AI to do your own work better . At Babylist every team uses AI daily. You're already using it daily to move faster and improve your output, and have real opinions about when it works and when it doesn't. How You Will Make An Impact Build the CS Enablement program from the ground up: create the systems that keep agents (human and AI) current on knowledge base, training, and copilot content as product changes accelerate. Move support operations from AI-assisted to AI-native: rebuild workflows, documentation, and training so AI is the default operating model. Build and maintain the knowledge base that serves as the source of truth for both AI systems and human agents, structured for AI consumption and kept accurate as products and policies evolve. Close existing content gaps and continuously identify how to reduce unnecessary escalations and drive meaningful improvement in chatbot coverage and resolution rate. Lead the implementation of an AI copilot and bring usage to 90%+ of agent interactions by making the copilot genuinely useful (better source material, better prompt design). Build agent confidence through scalable training that teaches people when to trust AI, when to override it, and how to give feedback that improves it. Create SOPs for complex scenarios so cases get handled consistently, audit and streamline fragmented workflows, and design new processes with AI built in from the start. Partner with the CS Analyst to identify top contact drivers and documentation gaps, then act on them. Establish feedback loops with frontline agents so the system keeps improving instead of just when someone notices a problem. Why This Role You'd be defining a role that doesn't have a template yet. "AI-native CS enablement" isn't an established discipline in customer support. You won't be applying someone else's playbook, you'll be writing it. The foundation is still forming, and that's the opportunity. Most of the knowledge base, SOPs, and AI workflows don't exist yet, so the systems you build become how the org operates for years. You'll have real influence on the roadmap, not just execution against it. You're setting the agenda with BizOps Tech, Product, and Analytics on what gets fixed, automated, and rebuilt next. Your success is directly visible in the numbers that matter to the business : chatbot deflection, copilot adoption, CSAT. This isn't a support role in the background, it's core to how CS scales. About Compensation We use a market-based approach to compensation. The starting salary range for this role is: $140,000 to $170,000 Your starting salary will be based on your location, experience, and qualifications, with increases over time tied to performance, role growth, and internal pay equity.
