Location: San Francisco, CA | New York City, NY About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role Anthropic is seeking a Financial Data and Controls Lead to join our Billing Platform team. Billing Platform builds the systems customers use to transact with Anthropic: subscriptions, usage billing, quote to cash, invoicing, and payments. You'll be the dedicated owner of billing accuracy, reconciliation, and financial controls across those systems, making sure the right checks run, the right controls are in place, and the audit evidence exists. Our billing systems and pricing change often, and each flow needs to meet SOX requirements. Accurate billing is what lets us launch products and pricing quickly and still close the books on time. The hard problems today include validating negotiated pricing from contract to invoice, handling the many forms of credits, app store billing, and keeping controls current while the systems under them are replaced. This is a foundational role and the first hire of its kind on the team. You'll lead a working group of the reconciliation and controls owners from each billing engineering team, and you'll set the approach they follow. You'll work closely with Finance Systems, Accounting, Internal Audit, and Data Engineering. The role sits in Engineering and works with Finance every day. Our Data organization builds the pipelines and owns the warehouse, and you'll use that data and partner with that team. We're looking for an engineer or data practitioner with strong accounting domain knowledge, who can talk to engineers about systems and to Finance and auditors about risk and materiality. Key responsibilities Own reconciliation and accuracy checks for critical billing data (quantity, price, discounts, and invoices) across our product platform, third-party billing and payment providers, app stores, cloud marketplaces, and in-house systems Design and run detective controls that catch billing errors before they reach the accounting books Partner with billing engineering teams to turn repeat checks into automated verifiers Review billing changes that have financial impact, flag the ones that touch SOX or IT application controls (ITACs), and make sure functional test evidence is in place Make SOX review a standard, lightweight step in how billing changes ship, treated like a security review, so launches are not delayed by it Own the end-to-end test strategy and audit evidence for those changes, working with Finance Systems, Data Engineering, Accounting, and Internal Audit Triage billing errors, prioritize backfills and fixes with the owning teams, and track materiality over time Define and maintain the data contracts between billing and finance systems, so downstream teams can find and trust the data they need Lead the working group of reconciliation and controls owners across billing engineering teams, through influence and not reporting lines Act as the Billing owner, alongside Accounting and Finance Systems, for translating the product and pricing roadmap into financial impact, test strategy, and process updates Minimum qualifications Experience building or owning a financial ledger, billing reconciliation, or cash reconciliation system end to end, one that Accounting relied on to close the books Hands-on SQL skills strong enough to take two messy datasets (for example usage events and invoices), match them, find the breaks, and explain the root cause Accounting domain knowledge (order to cash, month-end close, and materiality) sufficient to tell which billing changes have financial impact Experience working with SOX and Internal Audit teams on IT application controls, detective controls, transaction monitoring, functional test evidence, and auditor walkthroughs Experience defining data contracts between billing or product systems and finance systems such as the ERP, general ledger, or revenue recognition Track record of driving work across Engineering, Finance, Accounting, and Audit without direct authority Ability to explain technical issues to Finance and auditors in their terms, and financial risk to engineers in theirs Interest in AI and a commitment to Anthropic's mission of building safe, beneficial AI systems Preferred qualifications Background as a backend, data, or analytics engineer who built a financial ledger or cash reconciliation system from scratch Experience running these systems under public company reporting requirements, and scaling them as the company grew Experience with usage-based or consumption billing Experience with multi-party billing, such as marketplaces, or app stores Experience turning manual checks into automated verifiers with engineering teams Experience remediating a control deficiency, or standing up a controls program while the underlying systems were changing A track record of using Claude or other AI tools to automate reconciliation, testing, or evidence collection, with checks that hold up to review Experience with billing and finance tools such as Stripe, Metronome, Zuora, NetSuite, or Workday Financials Python for data analysis or automation The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $345,000 — $425,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role Reinforcement learning is how Claude learns to reason, write code, and act autonomously over long horizons. At frontier scale, an RL run is a large distributed system: training, sampling, and environment execution run concurrently across a large fleet of accelerators and hosts. As an engineer in RL Engineering, you'll work on keeping that system secure as it scales. This is a hands-on engineering role. You'll work in the RL codebase and the infrastructure underneath it, alongside the engineers and researchers who build and use it. The system is large and changes as fast as the research does, so security work here has to keep up with that pace without costing performance or velocity. We're hiring from two backgrounds: security engineers who want to work on large-scale ML systems, and ML systems or research engineers who want to work on security. Strong candidates have depth in one and real interest in the other. Key responsibilities Design, build, and operate security controls for RL training systems and the infrastructure they run on Work across the stack (orchestration, environments, training, inference) wherever the work is needed Review designs and code across the RL stack, find security problems, and fix them Build shared libraries and tooling that other RL engineers and researchers build on Build the observability needed to understand what these systems are doing Work with researchers and performance engineers to make sure security changes preserve training correctness and performance Write clear design documents for what you build Minimum qualifications Strong software engineering skills in Python and at least one systems language such as Rust, C++, or Go Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems or security systems in production Strong understanding of security fundamentals Working knowledge of Linux, containers, and cloud infrastructure Experience debugging complex problems across many hosts and services Ability to reason about tradeoffs between security, performance, and reliability Strong written communication, including design documents Preferred qualifications Experience running ML training or inference infrastructure at scale Experience with infrastructure security, such as isolation, access control, networking, or identity Experience with container orchestration such as Kubernetes, and with sandboxed or virtualized code execution at scale Experience building observability for large fleets Experience supporting research teams or other fast-moving internal users Familiarity with reinforcement learning or large language model training workloads The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. Location: Montréal We take play seriously. We’re looking for curious adventurers ready to find their party, fueled by imagination and drive to build what’s never been built before. At Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast, you’ll collaborate with passionate teams to reimagine our iconic brands and create experiences that spark joy, connection, and community through the magic of play. This is your chance to shape legendary play that lasts a lifetime. #StudiosWizards Employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package, depending on role, location, and eligibility. At Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast, you’ll collaborate with passionate teams to reimagine our iconic brands and create experiences that spark joy, connection, and community through the magic of play. This is your chance to shape legendary play that lasts a lifetime. We’re building something new inside our AI Studio, and we’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to help shape it with us. This role sits at the center of a new and constantly evolving business area. The problems are still taking shape, and the systems are actively being built. What excites us is the opportunity to push the boundaries of what stories and characters can be and to use technology to bring iconic IP to life in ways never before imagined. We work where storytelling, imagination, and technology converge. Our focus is on defining and building the core systems that transform characters and worlds from something audiences watch into something they can interact with and engage over time. This role keeps the platform running and makes shipping it safe. Working alongside senior engineers on the platform team, this DevOps Engineer will help build and maintain the pipelines, environments, and production infrastructure behind our character platform: the APIs, admin tooling, and real-time voice experiences that partners build on. Success here means deploys that are fast, boring, and reversible, and a production environment that stays healthy as more partners go live. What You’ll Do The platform is already in production, so the first job is helping make what we have more robust: improving how releases reach production, putting alarms in front of every deploy, and making sure database migrations never surprise anyone. Over time, you’ll take on more ownership of the infrastructure as the platform grows into new partners, environments, and interaction modes. When it’s time to roll out, the goal is that nobody has to hold their breath. Maintain and improve our CI/CD pipelines and shared templates, including container image builds, caching, test gates, and promotion from development through staging to production. Help implement our deployment strategy for containerized services, including health checks and automatic rollback when alarms fire. Maintain and extend our cloud infrastructure as code across multiple AWS accounts, from container services and managed databases to caching, content delivery, and network security. Build and tune monitoring and alerts so problems surface before a partner notices them. Keep access and secrets tight with least-privilege permissions, short-lived CI credentials, and managed secrets, in support of our responsible AI and data-handling commitments. Support environment management and developer tooling that make it easier for engineers to ship changes on their own. What You’ll Bring 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering, running production systems on AWS that real users depend on. Hands-on infrastructure-as-code experience (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform, Pulumi, etc.). You treat infrastructure changes with the same care as code changes. Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for containerized services. GitLab CI is a plus. Working knowledge of containers and orchestration (ECS or Kubernetes), and familiarity with AWS networking basics (VPCs, subnets, security groups, load balancers, DNS). Working knowledge of Python or TypeScript for scripting and automation. Experience working with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools. Comfort in a fast-moving environment where processes are still being built, including helping document runbooks. Extra Credit Experience with zero-downtime deployments, including automated rollback. Datadog or OpenTelemetry instrumentation experience. Familiarity with real-time media infrastructure (WebRTC, LiveKit). PostgreSQL operations: migrations, backups, and performance tuning, ideally on AWS Aurora. Location: USA (Remote); Canada (Remote) Workplace: Remote Mysten Labs’ mission is to advance the internet through step-function improvements in what technology makes possible. We build foundational infrastructure and products that give people, businesses, and developers new ways to interact, transact, and create value. Our work spans on-chain finance and the emerging agent economy. Through Sui, Move, and our broader technology stack, we’re building the systems that make these experiences possible - from secure, scalable blockchain infrastructure to new ways for businesses and AI agents to interact. Mysten Labs is looking for a hands-on Security Engineer with strong application security fundamentals and a track record of finding and fixing real vulnerabilities. You’ll own bug bounty programs and external audits, secure our code and software supply chain, and build tooling that protects Mysten’s products and users across the Sui ecosystem. Responsibilities - Run Mysten's bug bounty programs: triage, severity, responses, internal escalations, fix validation, and the budget and payouts. Turn recurring report classes into automated checks. - Own audit engagements: scope and schedule external audits, act as the technical counterpart during the engagement, and track findings through remediation and fix validation. - Conduct code and design reviews of systems built by Mysten, its subsidiaries and partners (Rust, TypeScript, Move). Drive issues to conclusion, including investigation and incident response, and run variant analysis so each bug class is closed everywhere it occurs. - Own software supply chain security: dependency and CI/CD malware defenses, Endor Labs, the code security service (GitHub controls, merge bots), and the ongoing code security self-auditing service. Detect and respond to compromised packages, maintainers and build pipelines, and secure the provenance and signing of what Mysten ships. - Build and improve anti-scam and anti-abuse tooling for the Sui ecosystem: detect phishing sites, malicious dApps, drainer contracts and other threats that target Sui users, and work with wallet teams on mitigations. - Build security tooling: LLM-driven triage and review agents, and static and dynamic analysis (taint, call graphs, fuzzing) wired into CI and code review. Build in known-clean checks so people trust the results. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - 3+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering, application security or product security, with a track record of finding real vulnerabilities (bug bounty reports, audit findings, CVEs or published research). - Strong Web2 security fundamentals: XSS, CSRF, SSRF, authorization flaws, injection, deserialization, software supply chain failures, cryptographic failures. - Proficiency in one or more of Rust, TypeScript, Python or Move, and experience reviewing and writing security-sensitive code. - Hands-on knowledge of software supply chain attack surface: package ecosystems (npm, crates.io http://crates.io, PyPI), CI/CD (GitHub Actions workflow injection, token exposure, unpinned actions), and build provenance. - Solid understanding of applied cryptography fundamentals and the common ways cryptographic systems are misused in practice. - Experience on either side of a bug bounty program or an audit engagement. - Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to influence teams you have no formal authority over. - Interest in the web3 space is required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Smart contract or wallet security: Move, Solidity or Rust-based chains; Sui's object and capability model is a plus. - Static or dynamic program analysis: CodeQL, Semgrep, taint analysis, fuzzing, symbolic execution. - Experience building security tooling with LLM agents (Claude Code skills or comparable), and a clear sense of where models help and where deterministic tooling has to do the work. - Anti-phishing, anti-fraud or trust & safety experience: domain and content monitoring, crawling, classifiers, threat intelligence. - Knowledge of recent crypto incidents and the defect classes behind them: drainer kits, DeFi frontend compromises, package-registry compromises. - Notable bug bounty rankings, CVEs, publications or conference talks. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, which may include verification of employment history, education credentials, criminal history, and other relevant information. Regarding the recent rash of technology job scams: Be aware that emails from genuine Mysten Labs group recruiters will always come from the @mystenlabs.com http://mystenlabs.com domain or related subdomains (e.g., mystenlabs.com/careers http://mystenlabs.com/careers). Remember: you can always verify positions on our job boards at www.mystenlabs.com/careers http://www.mystenlabs.com/careers.
