ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
Enterprise at Baseten means the companies with the most to gain from AI and the most complexity in getting there: large digital natives running products at massive scale, and category leaders in software, financial services, healthcare, and beyond. They have the data, the distribution, and the budget. Most are still deciding what to build, what to run themselves, and what it should cost.
That makes this a consultative sale. You'll spend as much time helping a VP of Engineering pressure-test their AI strategy as you will selling against an alternative, mapping use cases, framing build-vs-buy, and giving clear recommendations grounded in what you've seen work at the frontier. Then you'll do the enterprise work: multithreading across a buying committee, navigating security and procurement, and turning a first workload into an eight-figure relationship.
You'll work alongside our founders, forward-deployed engineers, and GTM leadership, in a seat where the playbook is still being written.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own a revenue target end to end, from prospecting and outbounding through closing Tier 1 accounts in your verticals
- Act as a strategic advisor on AI adoption: identify use cases, shape architecture decisions, and lead with clear, opinionated recommendations
- Multithread across large organizations, from the engineers running evals to the executives funding the program to security, legal, and procurement
- Win lighthouse customers that become references for their entire industry
- Partner with forward-deployed engineering on technical evaluations, POCs, and architecture reviews
- Feed signal back to product and engineering. What enterprises need next is a roadmap input we don't get anywhere else
REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience in technology, ideally infrastructure, API/platform, or developer tooling
- A track record of closing seven- and eight-figure deals by navigating multi-stakeholder buying committees and long, complex cycles
- Demonstrated ability to run a consultative sale. You've helped customers define a strategy, not just evaluate a product
- Strong technical acumen: you can hold your own on model serving, GPU infrastructure, latency, and API architecture
- Experience selling into large digital natives or regulated industries (financial services, healthcare/life sciences, insurance, government)
- Excellent communication and comfort with high autonomy in a fast-moving environment
NICE TO HAVE
- Direct experience selling AI/ML infrastructure, cloud compute, or model deployment platforms
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI! If you are a motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and a desire to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
At Baseten, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, or veteran status.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable law (by example, the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, where applicable).

A continuous improvement mindset. You naturally look for ways to make things cleaner, faster, and easier for others.
What you’ll need
A proven background in leading operational or process-improvement projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Experience in legal operations, business operations, project management, consulting, product operations, process improvement, or a similar operational role.
Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting complex business requirements.
A track record of turning business needs into structured implementation plans.
Hands-on experience mapping out processes and driving continuous improvement.
Experience managing vendor relationships or implementing new technology platforms.
Familiarity working in cross-functional environments, particularly alongside legal, compliance, IT, or risk teams.
What success looks like
Within your first year, you’ll take full ownership of key legal operations initiatives. You’ll have set up structured ways to gather requirements and deliver projects, making priorities clear to everyone involved. By improving our processes and managing our legal tech stack effectively, you’ll help the Legal team work faster, make better decisions, and dedicate their focus and time where it matters.

About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About the role
The CDN Content team is responsible for serving all content that flows through Vercel's global CDN — static assets, optimized images, incrementally regenerated pages, partially prerendered shells, and everything in between — to billions of requests for millions of developers. Our focus is performance: ensuring content is served globally as fast as possible. Caching plays a big role in making that happen, and the team operates a multi-tier caching architecture spanning in-process caches, regional cache services, and object storage across 20+ regions.
As a Software Engineer on the team, you'll take on well-scoped projects with real production impact and grow into owning larger pieces of the system. The work spans the serving path end to end, and everything ships through careful, progressive rollouts validated with production data. You'll learn how a planet-scale CDN works from engineers who built it.
This is a team where infrastructure meets product: we work in close partnership with frameworks such as Next.js, bringing framework-defined infrastructure to life on Vercel's CDN, and the serving and caching behavior we ship directly shapes the performance and cost that millions of developers see. You'll develop strong instincts for distributed systems, careful production rollouts, and data-driven engineering.
If you're based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF or NY), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. If you're located beyond that distance, the role is fully remote. For location-specific details, please connect with our recruiting team.
What you'll do
Build and improve the services behind ISR, PPR, and image optimization — working in Go, Lua, and TypeScript across the serving path.
Execute well-defined projects independently, from implementation through safe rollout (feature flags, shadow modes, progressive deployment) and post-ship validation.
Monitor and maintain your work in production: build dashboards, add metrics and alerts, and develop ownership of what you ship.
Contribute to the team's observability and testing surface — the dashboards, log views, and e2e test suites that keep a high-change system trustworthy.
Participate in the on-call rotation with support from senior engineers, and contribute to incident follow-ups that make the system more resilient.
Collaborate with teammates and partner teams (Next.js, CI/CD) through design discussions, code review, and pairing.
What you need
2+ years of experience building and operating backend services in production.
Proficiency in at least one of Go, TypeScript/Node.js, or a comparable systems language, and enthusiasm for working across a polyglot stack.
Solid understanding of HTTP and web fundamentals — caching headers, request/response lifecycle, what a proxy does.
You write code you're willing to operate: tested, instrumented, and documented.
Curious about how large-scale systems work, and motivated to dig into unfamiliar code and production data to figure things out.
A collaborative teammate who communicates clearly, asks good questions, and follows through reliably.
Bonus if you
Have experience with caching systems (CDNs, Redis/Memcached, application-level caches) at any scale.
Have AWS experience, particularly S3 or ElastiCache.
Have used Next.js or another modern web framework and understand rendering modes like SSR/SSG/ISR.
Have experience with observability tooling (Datadog, Honeycomb, or similar).
Have experience with Terraform or Kubernetes.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive compensation package, including equity.
Inclusive Healthcare Package.
Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
Flexible Time Off.
We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.
The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $172,000 - $258,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. About Supabase
Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution, including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth.
About the team
Management API, written in TypeScript, Nest.js and other JavaScript technologies, is a central part of every product in the Supabase stack. It allows all Supabase services and Supabase Studio to communicate with each other, programmatically manage your own Supabase projects and organisations, as well as integrate with 3rd party services like Vercel, Resend, or Lovable.
You will:
— Design, implement, and maintain both internal and public-facing APIs used across various Supabase products, including Studio, CLI, management APIs, and OAuth applications.
— Integrate with third-party platforms and partners, either by developing custom integrations or providing clear API points for them to connect with Supabase.
— Collaborate closely with various teams across Supabase (DevOps, Frontend, etc.) to ensure smooth integration and implementation of API functionality for the rest of the platform.
— Build and enhance testing, debugging, and monitoring tools to ensure public APIs' stability, reliability, and performance.
— Work with the dev-workflows team to enhance and improve the Branching experience, making it easier and more valuable for Supabase users.
You have:
— 5+ years of experience in backend API development, with strong expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript (Node.js) and familiarity with modern tools and frameworks (e.g., Nest.js, Express, Vitest, Zod).
— Expertise in designing robust, scalable, and maintainable APIs, and experience with API versioning, pagination, and error handling best practices.
— Experience with OAuth, JWT, and API security best practices (rate limiting, CORS, etc.) is a plus.
— Good understanding of PostgreSQL and relational databases.
— Proven ability to build scalable, maintainable APIs and develop tools for testing, debugging, and monitoring API performance.
— Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and containerized deployments to streamline API development, testing, and release processes.
What We Offer
— Fully Remote: We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a WeWork membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the world.
— ESOP: Every team member receives ESOP (equity ownership) in the company.
— Tech Allowance: Use this budget to set up your ideal work environment—laptop, monitor, headphones, or whatever helps you do your best work.

WHO ARE WE?
Cohere is the leading security-first enterprise AI company. We build cutting-edge foundation AI models and end-to-end products that are designed to solve real-world business problems.
We’re training and deploying frontier models for enterprises who are building AI systems. We believe that our work is instrumental to the widespread adoption of AI and we are looking for folks that want to be part of that.
We obsess over what we build. Each one of us is responsible for contributing to increasing the capabilities of our models and the value they drive for our customers. Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more, who are all passionate about their craft.
We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us!
Why this role?
This role will focus on evaluating data science and coding tasks, requiring you to review and debug code, analyze model trajectories, and assess data visualization script development and logical flow implementation. Your work will contribute to our model development efforts and the logic our models apply when completing task requests.
Please note: This is a part-time independent contractor position available within Canada. We seek candidates who are able to commit to 16 hours per week minimum at a 40 CAD/hour contract rate. This role is BYOD 💻 - Bring Your Own Device (laptop). Remote work within Canada. 12 month contract.
As a Data Annotation Specialist, you will:
- Evaluate the model's ability to respond to coding requests, workflows, and code base-related questions using available tools.
- Assess agent trajectories and model capabilities for code generation, tabular and graphic manipulation, and debugging requests.
- Prompt models to complete complex data science tasks and review the accuracy of generated responses.
- Label, proofread, and improve machine-written and human-written software engineering-related outputs.
- Report quality and performance trends related to model/agent behaviour and project assignments.
You may be a good fit if you have:
- Exceptional data analysis and visualization skills.
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience working on real-world data science problems and pipelines.
- Proficient knowledge and understanding of Python and industry-standard data science packages (numpy, pandas, matplotlib, sqlite, or others).
- Strong understanding of SQL syntax writing and workflows; and a deep familiarity with file/data formats, such as markdown, JSON, XML, YAML, and HTML.
- Prior experience re-writing, proofreading, and delivering feedback on code.
- Familiarity with code agents (OpenCode, Claude Code, Codex) or evaluating agent trajectories is a plus.
The Candidate Journey:
- Initial Screening: Our Talent Team will review your application.
- First Assessment: If selected to move forward, you’ll receive a multiple-choice assessment by email.
- Second Assessment: Candidates who achieve a passing score will be contacted by a member of our team to complete a more comprehensive assessment focused on their area of expertise.
- Video Screen: If selected to move forward, you’ll have a short video call with a member of our Operations Team.
- Final: Selected candidates will receive an Independent Contractor Agreement.
As an independent contractor, you maintain control over how you complete your work and may work with multiple clients simultaneously. We request that you declare any external work relationships with Cohere’s direct competitors and always maintain the IP confidentiality of the Cohere project. Independent contractors are not eligible for health benefits or other benefits provided to employees. Compensation for services is provided to contractors by self-invoicing for services provided pursuant to the terms of our agreement with the contractor.
It is important to understand that, as an independent contractor, continuous work is not guaranteed. The client-contractor relationship is fundamentally project-based, meaning engagements may be temporary, periodic, or intermittent based on our organizational needs and project availability. As an independent contractor, you should anticipate fluctuations in workflow and, therefore, compensation for services when Cohere does not require as many hours of services in a week.
Prospective candidates, please be advised: this role involves working with human-generated and model-generated tasks that may involve exposure to not safe for work (NSFW) text content as part of data annotation tasks, including explicit, offensive, or other inappropriate material.
If the above qualifications do not perfectly align with your experience, we still encourage you to apply!
We value and celebrate diversity and strive to create an inclusive work environment for all. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to providing equal opportunities. Should you require any accommodations during the recruitment process, please submit an Accommodations Request Form, and we will work together to meet your needs.
