Perplexity is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to advance how AI systems search, reason, and work together to solve complex problems. Our work spans search and retrieval, LLM post-training, multi-agent training, and the harnesses that make these systems effective.
We control the full stack: the models, the agent harnesses, and the search infrastructure underneath. That gives us the freedom to develop new approaches across all three training models to use search more effectively, designing tools and execution environments around learned behavior, and improving retrieval to support how agents actually work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Push search and agent quality forward through improvements to models, training data, tools, and system design.
- Develop LLM post-training methods, including reinforcement learning, to improve reasoning, search, tool use, and task completion.
- Train and evaluate multi-agent systems, exploring how agents divide work, share information, and coordinate effectively.
- Design and build agent harnesses around the tools, context management, execution environments, and orchestration that support reliable work over many steps.
- Improve retrieval and ranking models and the search interfaces agents use to find and assess information.
- Build datasets, reward signals, and evaluations that expose meaningful failures and guide improvements.
- Own experiments end to end, from a clear hypothesis to scalable training, deployment, and measurable gains in quality, latency, and cost.
- Collaborate with AI, Search, Infrastructure, Data, and Product teams to bring new capabilities into production.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A strong track record of building and shipping ML systems, with deep experience in one or more of LLM post-training, reinforcement learning, search and retrieval, or agent systems.
- Strong software engineering skills and the ability to work across model training, experimentation infrastructure, and production systems.
- Experience designing rigorous evaluations, diagnosing failures, and translating experimental results into practical improvements.
- Comfort with open-ended problems that require both research judgment and hands-on engineering.
- A strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and the drive to carry an idea through to a working system.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with training models to use tools or complete tasks over many steps.
- Multi-agent training, coordination, or evaluation.
- Building agent harnesses, distributed training systems, or scalable inference infrastructure.
- Large-scale retrieval, ranking, or recommendation systems.

THE ROLE
We are hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer for two platform products:
Xsolla ID is the identity and authentication platform behind sign-in, account management and SSO across Xsolla products.
Xsolla ZK is Web3 wallet infrastructure: smart wallets and account abstraction on a zkSync-based L2.
Both products sit on users' most sensitive flows: logging in and signing transactions.
Responsibilities
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
The frontend of your product area end to end: shaping tasks with Product and Design, implementation, release and production monitoring
Technical decisions for that frontend. You make them and justify them in writing, rather than only implementing someone else's
The architecture of frontend applications and the shared UI library / SDK that other teams build on
Measurable frontend quality: performance, reliability and security of user flows
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Design and build user flows: sign-in, account management, wallet onboarding and transaction signing
Track how these flows behave in production (errors, performance, drop-offs) and act on what you see
Make architectural decisions for frontend applications and document them
Develop the shared component library and frontend SDKs used by other Xsolla teams
Agree API contracts with backend engineers, including error handling, retries and edge cases
Own performance budgets: Core Web Vitals and bundle size
Improve the engineering environment: build, linters, tests, CI
Review code
Set up and maintain AI tooling in the repositories (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor: rules, context, harness) so the team uses it effectively
Nice to have
Language and platform
5+ years of commercial frontend development
TypeScript in strict mode: generics, utility types, discriminated unions, typing module boundaries and external data
JavaScript at the platform level: event loop, asynchrony, closures, memory. You can find a leak and explain its cause
Frameworks and state
Deep experience with React: rendering model, profiling, eliminating unnecessary re-renders
Separating local, server and global state, and justifying the choice of tool; reasoning about when SSR is worth it
UI quality and performance
Semantic, responsive, cross-browser layout; modern CSS (CSS Modules, CSS-in-JS)
Accessibility: ARIA, keyboard navigation, screen reader support
Performance analysis: profiling, bundle analysis, Core Web Vitals
Integration and security
REST API integration: error handling, retries, request cancellation, contract alignment with backend
Web security fundamentals: XSS, CSRF, CSP, secure handling of tokens, sessions and user data
Engineering practices
Testing at the right level: unit, integration, E2E
Git, CI, Docker, linters and formatters
AI-assisted engineering
Daily hands-on use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) for development and review, including configuring them for a repository
English
Reading technical documentation in English
Experience in security-sensitive domains: authentication and identity (OAuth2/OIDC flows on the frontend), payments, crypto wallets
Web3 frontend: wallet integration (embedded and browser wallets), EIP-1193, EIP-6963, EIP-712; viem, wagmi, ethers.js
Next.js or Nuxt, SSR in production
Design systems and component API design, UI kits
Hybrid applications: WebView, React Native
HOW WE WORK
Decisions in writing. Significant technical decisions are written up as an RFC or ADR that lays out the options and trade-offs. We discuss the document, not a blank whiteboard.
AI is part of everyday engineering. We use AI coding tools for development and review, and we treat configuring them for a codebase as real engineering work.
HOW WE HIRE
Intro call. Your background, your motivation and the role.
Technical interview. Built directly on the What you will own and Required sections above. We won't ask about anything this posting doesn't promise.
Bar raiser. An engineer from outside the hiring team checks that you raise the overall engineering bar.
THE TEAM
You will work alongside product managers, designers, frontend and backend engineers, and QA.
BENEFITS
We are passionate about fostering a supportive environment for our team, so we prioritize the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our employees and their families through a comprehensive Benefits Program. This includes medical, dental, and vision, PTO, and a personalized career roadmap for each employee. By investing in professional development through training and educational opportunities, we ensure that our team thrives both personally and professionally. The team
To sustain the company's growth, Ledger is looking for a Senior Scala Backend Engineer to join the Cloud Wallet team. This team builds and operates the backend services that power blockchain account management, transaction processing and on-chain data aggregation across all Ledger wallet surfaces, from Ledger Live to Ledger Enterprise, the custody platform used by financial institutions. Every client transaction goes through these services, and so does every new blockchain Ledger supports. We believe in the power of functional programming to build robust and scalable platforms. We take time to share, challenge, and grow together through bi-weekly knowledge-sharing sessions, meetups, conferences, and open source contributions.
What you’ll be doing
- Design, build and operate the Scala services that connect Ledger wallets and the Ledger Enterprise platform to blockchain backends: account creation, operation history, transaction crafting, broadcast and lifecycle tracking.
- Lead new blockchain integrations end to end, from the integration design (ADR) to production, across account-based, UTXO and privacy-preserving chains.
- Own production quality on your scope: SLIs and SLOs, observability, distributed tracing. Take part in the firefighting rotation and drive incidents to resolution, including those raised by institutional clients.
- Define clear contracts with the Coin Integration and Ledger Enterprise teams, for example where UTXO selection lives or how transaction states are exposed to consumers.
- Write and review ADRs, challenge designs, and raise the bar on code quality, testing (including end-to-end on testnets) and technical debt management.
- Work in an AI-native way: use coding agents daily, write the specifications, constraints and verification that let them deliver safely, and contribute to the team's AI tooling.
- Mentor other engineers and share your knowledge across the Backend Blockchain community.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with:
- The Coin Integration team for coin modules and new blockchain integrations.
- The Ledger Enterprise team, main consumer of the team's services for institutional custody.
- The Ledger Wallet, Ledger Button and Wallet XP teams as consumers of the team's backend APIs.
- The Blockchain platform team for data model alignment, indexing and event streaming.
- The Infrastructure and SRE teams for deployment, reliability and scalability.
- The Security team (Donjon) for vulnerability analysis and remediation.
- The Product team for roadmap prioritization and customer-driven requirements.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of backend engineering, with real production ownership of distributed systems.
- Strong production experience
- Interest for Scala and functional programming practice
- Hands-on blockchain integration experience: transaction lifecycle, fees, finality, reorgs, on at least two models among account-based, UTXO and privacy-preserving chains.
- Experience with event-driven systems and data infrastructure (PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, NATS or equivalent) and with observability tooling (Datadog or equivalent).
- Able to diagnose an incident across several services and own the outcome, from root cause to fix in production.
- Comfortable reading and contributing to TypeScript code, as the team works on a polyglot stack.
- Daily use of AI coding tools, with a critical eye on their output.
- Clear written communication in English, especially for design documents and incident reports.
At Ledger, we are dedicated to continually investing in our employees which is why we offer more than just salaries; we provide comprehensive compensation packages that include a wide range of benefits. Here are some of the benefits you can look forward to:

ABOUT MISTRAL
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
THE ROLE
The Inference Foundation team owns the core of Mistral's inference stack: the inference engine and its orchestration, from the feature set and configuration that serve our models in production to the release machinery that keeps the stack current and production-grade.
This is a hybrid position spanning production LLM serving, engine and platform development, and capacity engineering. You will work on three intertwined problems:
1. Optimize the inference stack at scale — feature development and fixes in the engine and orchestrator, squeezing more throughput and lower latency out of every GPU under strict quality-of-service targets.
2. Make capacity elastic — scaling up and down should be cheap and fast, not a performance cliff.
3. Power the training of our frontier models — high-performance serving that keeps RL and post-training loops running at full speed.
What You Will Do
INFERENCE ENGINE & ORCHESTRATION
- Develop and fix the core of the inference stack — engine and orchestrator — including feature selection, configuration, and tuning for maximum performance at scale
- Own the release process for the serving stack: validated, regression-free releases through automated performance gates and progressive rollout
- Drive improvements and fixes upstream when the open-source engine is the right place for them
PERFORMANCE & CAPACITY AT SCALE
- Optimize serving efficiency across the fleet — driving down pod startup time, tackling cold-cache regressions on scale-up, smarter caching and offloading
- Optimize and maintain the optimal serving topology — overlap communication and transfers with computation, ensure optimal placement, connectivity, and routing

The role
As our 'Engineering Manager - Data', you will lead the engineering team responsible for creating and maintaining core models on our data platform. In this role, you will balance strategic leadership with technical delivery, shaping platform architecture while staying close enough to execution to ensure delivery, stability, and quality standards are met.
You will empower and grow senior engineering talent, establish operational standards, and manage risk and dependencies across key quarterly initiatives. Partnering closely with product, platform, and security teams, you will ensure high-quality, scalable data products are delivered to solve meaningful customer problems.
The team & how they connect
The 'Dataverse' team consists of nine engineers located across Australia, New Zealand, and Canada who build and maintain the core models in our data platform. Working across remote locations, the team collaborates closely to manage cross-team dependencies and maintain continuous alignment. They foster an environment grounded in knowledge sharing, constructive feedback, and empathy for stakeholders.
Initially, the role may focus on
- Designing and building core models on the data platform using AWS and Snowflake infrastructure.
- Streamlining real-time data flows and streaming architecture across platform services.
- Leading delivery execution for complex data platform initiatives while managing dependencies and risks.
- Coaching senior engineers, elevating engineering standards, and supporting team adoption of DataOps practices.
Where and how you can work
This role offers flexible hybrid working arrangements based out of our Sydney or Melbourne offices. You can balance remote work with designated office boost days to connect, whiteboard, and collaborate in person with your team.
Here are some of the things we're looking for, for this role:
- A background in data platform delivery alongside data engineering expertise and data modelling capability.
- Practical familiarity with cloud infrastructure like AWS and Snowflake, along with an understanding of real-time streaming technologies and data flows.
- Your leadership style combines delivery focus with the technical breadth required to guide architectural decisions and step in hands-on when required.
- Proven capability in coaching senior engineers, setting clear expectations, and supporting individual career progression.
- Demonstrated proficiency managing platform health, establishing Service Level Objectives, and leading operational performance.
- Strong collaborative skills to build trusted relationships across product, platform, and security teams.
Apply even if your experience isn't a perfect match! At Xero, we hire based on your skills, passion, and the unique perspective you can bring to enhance our culture and team.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an Analytics Engineering Lead to set the direction for analytics engineering at Eneba and help the team deliver trusted, business-ready data. You’ll lead a team of around 10 analytics engineers.
You’ll define what analytics engineering owns and where it is going, connect the team’s work to real business needs, and ensure curated data can be used directly by business teams, BI tools, and AI agents without an analyst in between.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Create and own the analytics engineering strategy, direction, and goals.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of around 10 analytics engineers through regular feedback, one-to-ones, performance management, review cycles, and hiring, helping them become increasingly autonomous.
- Establish the analytics data-modeling architecture, engineering principles, quality standards, and ways of working that guide how the team builds and maintains models.
- Ensure analytics engineering work begins with a clear understanding of the business problem and delivers data that people can use with confidence.
- Enable reliable self-service analytics by making curated data usable by business teams, BI tools, and AI agents, with appropriate semantic layers, metrics, discoverability, and governance.
- Evaluate the current analytics landscape and make pragmatic, evidence-based decisions about what should be improved, stopped, rebuilt, or delegated.
- Partner directly with stakeholders across the company, including teams such as Accounting, Payments, and Marketing, as well as senior leaders.
- Build a strong understanding of Eneba’s business and translate varied stakeholder needs into a clear direction for the team.
- Identify and empower technical experts within the existing team to help define and implement engineering standards.
- Evaluate analytics tooling and delegate technical discovery where appropriate, while retaining final ownership of analytics engineering architecture and tooling decisions.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience leading and developing data, analytics, or analytics engineering and people-management in product-focused tech companies.
- Experience defining strategy and setting direction for analytics engineering, data modeling, or a closely related function.
- A track record of establishing data-modeling architecture, principles, or standards that guide how other engineers build and maintain models.
- Strong business judgment: you focus on why data is needed and what problem it solves, not only how models are built.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with proven experience partnering closely with product leadership and representing data in executive-level and cross-functional discussions.
- Ability to form clear, evidence-based opinions, challenge existing approaches, and lead change under sustained pressure including recommending that work be stopped or rebuilt when needed.
- Experience operating in a high-growth, fast-moving organization with low approval layers, where data supports many business functions. Scale-up experience is helpful.
- Working knowledge of SQL and data modeling, hands-on experience with DBT, and familiarity with at least one BI or dashboarding tool.
- Fluent English (business proficiency required)
What it’s like to work at Eneba
- Opportunity to join our Employee Stock Options program.
- Opportunity to help scale a unique product.
- Various bonus systems: performance-based, referral, additional paid leave, personal learning budget.
- Paid volunteering opportunities.
- Work location of your choice: office, remote, opportunity to work and travel.
- Personal and professional growth at an exponential rate supported by well-defined feedback and promotion processes.
- We’re an international team and our business language of choice is English. Good English level is required, proficiency is preferred. Please submit your resume in English
