ABOUT DOCKER
Docker has been one of the most loved brands in developer tooling, trusted by more than 20 million monthly users and over 20 billion container image pulls. From solo founders to the world's largest companies, developers rely on Docker to build, share, and run their applications across our suite of products including Docker Desktop, Docker Hub, and Docker Scout.
We are a globally distributed, remote-first team building the tools that define how software gets built and delivered. As AI agents redefine software development, Docker is at the center of that shift, providing the sandboxed environments, verified images, and secure infrastructure that make autonomous workflows trustworthy by default.

We combine global fintech expertise with deep local market knowledge to make financial services simple, accessible, and useful for millions of people across the region.
7M+ app downloads. 2M+ monthly active users. 7,000+ partner stores. US$310M+ raised from leading global investors.
Manila-based, globally distributed, and hybrid-first — our team spans 45+ countries.
If you want to solve complex problems at scale and impact how millions of people access and manage money, come build with us.
Southeast Asia's fintech moment starts here.
About the role:
You'll own the NPV and unit economics model behind Salmon's credit card business — the core logic behind how we price, size, and monitor profitability across the portfolio.
What you'll do:
- Work directly with the Head of Economics to turn model logic into production-ready Python/SQL code
- Build and maintain the datasets that feed the model — cohorts, cashflows, losses, funding, fees, revenue — with help from other analysts
- Automate scenario and sensitivity runs so pricing, limit, and product decisions are backed by real numbers
What you'll own:
- Own the end-to-end NPV / unit economics model for credit cards — clean, testable, versioned logic
- Validate model outputs against actual portfolio performance and investigate gaps when they don't match
- Translate model logic into clear, implementation-ready specs when other teams need to build on it
- Step outside your immediate scope when the work calls for it — we value ownership over rigid roles
What makes you a strong fit:
- 2–3+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics
- Strong Python (pandas) and SQL — for data exploration and for implementing analytics logic in production
- Solid understanding of unit economics / financial modeling — cashflows, NPV, cohorts — through direct modeling experience or hands-on work with such models
- High attention to detail — small errors break economics in production
What we offer:
Ownership and flexibility
- Stock option plan — four-year vesting with a 25% cliff after the first year
- Hybrid-first work environment
- Company-provided tools and equipment
- Office in Bonifacio Global City, Manila — a modern, walkable district at the centre of the Philippines' growing tech scene
Health and time off
- Medical insurance support for you and your family through co-funding or reimbursement, depending on your location and subject to policy limits
- Access to an internal mental health support specialist
- 22 vacation days, Philippine public holidays, and 15 sick days
- 105 days of paid maternity leave and up to 14 days of paid paternity leave for employees relocating to Manila
Relocation and family support
- Relocation support for you and your family — including flights, two weeks of accommodation, visas, paperwork, and logistics
- Reimbursement of eligible pet relocation expenses
- USD 2,500 per year for flights home
- Baby and family stipends for employees relocating to Manila: USD 1,000/month per child under two, USD 500/month per child aged two to 18
Growth and team experience
- Opportunities to learn and share your expertise through internal expert meetups, external conferences, speaking opportunities, and industry publications
- Company-sponsored trips to Manila to meet and work with your team in person
- Regular team offsites, sports activities, and team events
- High-performing teams can earn a dedicated beach house week in Southeast Asia

ABOUT PEEC AI
Peec AI is the analytics platform for AI search. People increasingly discover products and make buying decisions through ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Google's AI Overviews instead of traditional search, and most brands have no idea where they show up in those answers. Peec gives marketing, SEO, and growth teams the data to see exactly that: how visible their brand is across AI platforms, how they compare to competitors, and where to win.
We are defining this category, and the market is moving with us. Peec is a Series A company backed by 20VC and Singular, that went from $0 to $15M ARR in 18 months, with a 100+ person team across our Berlin HQ and our New York office.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Peec AI is building the data plane for AI visibility: millions of chats, scrapes, citations, sources, model responses, and customer-facing insights running through a fast-moving backend.
This role is for an engineer who wants to own the systems behind that. You will not just add endpoints or close tickets. You will make our scraping, chat-processing, source-ingestion, and analytics infrastructure more reliable, cheaper, faster, and easier for the rest of the team to reason about.
The best fit looks like someone who can debug a provider outage in the morning, design a better queueing model before lunch, ship a TypeScript service change in the afternoon, and write the postmortem or follow-up ticket clearly enough that the next engineer immediately knows what to do.
We are especially interested in people who have built or operated systems with real constraints: rate limits, flaky third-party APIs, queues, webhooks, retries, distributed locks, data migrations, observability gaps, customer pressure, and cost ceilings.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of backend, platform, infrastructure, or distributed systems engineering experience in a production environment.
- Deep hands-on TypeScript experience. We run TypeScript services on Bun, and we care about people who can design clean, reliable backend systems rather than only write application code.
- Strong understanding of queues, workers, retries, rate limits, idempotency, distributed locks, webhooks, and failure handling.
- Experience operating systems under real production pressure: incidents, provider outages, customer escalations, noisy alerts, slow dependencies, and incomplete data.
- Comfort with cloud-native infrastructure. Our stack includes GCP, Kubernetes, Cloud Tasks, Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, Redis, Postgres, Firestore, ClickHouse, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Ability to debug across layers: application code, logs, metrics, queues, provider APIs, databases, network behaviour, and deployment state.
- Product-minded judgement. You can separate internal detail from customer-safe explanation, and you understand when a “small infra change” has customer, security, or cost implications.
- High ownership and low ego. We want people who take responsibility for ambiguous systems, ask sharp questions, and make the team better through clear thinking and kindness.
- A bias toward durable fixes. You do not stop at “restart the pod” if the real issue is retry amplification, missing backpressure, an unsafe parser assumption, or a provider limit we do not model.
TECH STACK
- Languages: TypeScript, Python
- Runtime/frameworks: Bun, Elysia, Node-compatible services
- Cloud/infrastructure: GCP, Kubernetes, Cloud Tasks, Pub/Sub, Firebase/Firestore, Postgres, ClickHouse, Redis, RabbitMQ
- Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, structured logging
- Product/data domain: LLM chats, AI search, source scraping, citation extraction, provider integrations, customer-facing analytics
- AI/model providers: OpenAI, Anthropic/Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Mode / AI Overview, plus scraping/provider APIs around them
WHAT WE OFFER
- Exciting and challenging work with real impact and ownership at one of Europe’s fastest-growing Series A startups
- Regular team events and off-sites
- Aggressive equity compensation package
- Paid Dinner & Uber home when working late
- The most beautiful office space and work environment in Berlin

You will also support broader risk governance, regulatory implementation, issue management, and assurance activities.
This is a business-facing controls role suited to someone who understands how regulated financial services businesses operate in practice. Coordinate investigation and root cause analysis of incidents, conduct issues, and control deficiencies, working with relevant teams to develop practical corrective actions and drive issues through to resolution.
Support internal and external audit engagements, regulatory reviews, and assurance activities, including documentation requests, walkthroughs, management responses, and remediation tracking.
Support the implementation of evolving regulatory requirements and industry standards, assessing business impact and working cross-functionally to embed appropriate processes and controls.
