Figma is growing our team of passionate creatives and builders on a mission to make design accessible to all. Figma’s platform helps teams bring ideas to life—whether you're brainstorming, creating a prototype, translating designs into code, or iterating with AI. From idea to product, Figma empowers teams to streamline workflows, move faster, and work together in real time from anywhere in the world. If you're excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us!
We're looking for an executive communications manager to shape Figma's story and how our execs tell it. You’ll partner with leaders across the business to turn early ideas into clear, compelling points of view and build platforms that only they can credibly own. From there you'll work with our comms team and Figmates across the company to get those stories told in the spaces and places where they’ll have the most impact.
A lot of the work is writing: essays, keynotes, social posts and op-eds. The rest is strategy: figuring out which ideas are worth developing, which audience needs to hear them, how a story travels and what makes people excited to share it.
This is a new role reporting to our VP of Communications. The ideal candidate will write and speak with the same precision and clarity they’d expect from the execs they support. They’ll know how to make someone sound sharp in a 140-character post and credible in a 3,000-word essay. You’ll operate with low ego, high conviction and the curiosity to uncover stories people want to hear and that our execs want to tell.
This is a full-time role based in San Francisco or New York City hubs.
What you'll do at Figma:
Build the narrative framework executives across the business use to tell Figma's story, and their own
Work with our comms team on media strategy, and bring sound judgment to messaging and channel selection
Partner with (and occasionally spar) with executives to sharpen their ideas and the broader point of view behind them
Build the system and infrastructure this function needs to keep our executive storytelling consistent and differentiated
Find ways to measure impact and drive a culture of experimentation in our exec comms
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Extensive experience crafting narratives for senior executives across formats, channels and audiences
A track record of writing for C-suite executives with strong opinions and high standards
Executive presence, and a track record of influencing people who don't report to you
Media relations experience and sound judgment on press, messaging and reputation
Comfort with ambiguity, deep curiosity and a record of shipping strong work
While it's not required, it's an added plus if you also have:
A journalism or editorial background, with an instinct for what's newsworthy and how a story reads to an outside audience
Experience in tech, creative pursuits and/or product design and development
Strong business literacy and the ability to translate complex financial and technical topics for a broader audience
Passion for Figma and what we do!
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

Additionally you'll help design and improve the ElevenLabs API, build developer tooling, and act as "customer zero" for new developer products.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys open source software and jumping between multiple programming languages across the stack. This role is for engineers who are motivated by improving the developer experience — hands on keyboard, building the developer experience.
Requirements
- You enjoy building and maintaining open source projects — ideally you've created or maintained SDKs.
- A strong full-stack engineering skillset with a flair for API design.
- A passion for writing engaging technical content incl. in-depth blog posts.
- Are an excellent communicator able to triage technical issues.
- Bonus: You enjoy attending, speaking and engaging at developer conferences.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic's Data Center Operations (DCO) team ensures compute fleet availability through hardware and IT operations. At our partner-operated sites, this role manages the interface between Anthropic and the strategic site operations partner performing day-to-day data hall work.
As the site lead, you own site outcomes for your assigned sites including: deployment velocity, availability, and incident response. Rather than managing operations staff directly, you provide tactical direction, set priorities, and define the standards for the vendor's on-site teams, paired with performance oversight and ongoing operational assessment to ensure all operational commitments are met.
You will define the operational processes, quality gates, and governance rhythms for partner-operated sites. Expect to build the playbook as much as you run it, not just at a site level, but defining and developing program improvements fleet-wide.
What you’ll own
Operational outcomes.
Own site availability, deployment milestones, and repair turnaround, verified with independent data rather than vendor self-reporting.
Vendor direction.
Set daily and weekly priorities and lead the operating cadence, including standups and business reviews.
Process definition.
Author and improve procedures for deployment, break-fix, change management, security, and EHS compliance. Analyze operational trends and standardize lessons across the program.
Performance management.
Track vendor performance against SLAs and staffing commitments, driving corrective actions when necessary.
Incident response and on-call.
Participate in the incident escalation on-call rotation. When designated Anthropic Incident Commander for a site-specific incident, direct vendor response, own communications, and close out post-incident actions.
Internal interface.
Translate engineering requirements into vendor direction and communicate site constraints and risks to leadership.
Representative work
Leading weekly operations reviews and scorecards with vendor site leads.
Directing deployment surges to meet first-compute-online milestones.
Analyzing failure patterns to identify root causes and driving fixes with owners.
Creating break-fix ownership matrices and training vendor teams.
Serving as Incident Commander for facility events and producing post-mortems.
Establishing operational readiness for new data halls, including spares and security.
Identifying process gaps and codifying improvements as program standards.
You may be a good fit if you
Have 8+ years of experience in data center operations (hardware, IT infrastructure, or critical facilities) as a manager, technical lead or related role, including accountability for production availability.
Have managed vendors, MSPs, or contract workforces to measurable outcomes: SOWs, SLAs, operational reviews, and corrective action.
Carry hands-on technical depth in server, network, and rack-level infrastructure, enough to independently verify vendor claims and audit quality.
Have built or substantially improved operational processes, not just run them.
Have served in an incident command or lead-responder role and communicate clearly under ambiguity.
Can support non-standard hours, including an on-call rotation and availability during deployment surges and maintenance windows.
Bachelor's degree in relevant domain or equivalent practical experience.
Strong candidates may also have
Experience with third-party colocation providers or partner-operated sites, delivering IT operations outcomes inside a facility someone else runs.
Experience standing up operations at a new site or data hall, from commissioning handoff through first deployment.
Experience with GPU/accelerator or high-density liquid-cooled infrastructure.
Familiarity with multi-vendor sites where facilities and IT operations are performed by different partners.
Experience leading projects from initiation to completion across teams you didn't own.
Background in incident management frameworks, contract/SLA design, or EHS programs.
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$320,000
—
$405,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.

Anthropic is building and securing data center capacity at an unprecedented pace, and the power and cooling equipment that goes into those sites — switchgear, UPS, generators, transformers, busway, chillers, CDUs, air handlers, pumps and piping skids — is long-lead, high-value, and unforgiving of defects. A single nonconformance discovered at site can cost weeks of schedule.
We're hiring a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to own quality at the source: inside our OEMs' and integrators' factories. You will qualify suppliers, define acceptance criteria, witness factory acceptance tests, drive corrective action to closure, and make sure equipment leaves the factory complete, conforming, documented, and ready to install. You are the person who catches the problem in Ohio before it becomes a problem in Texas.
This is a hands-on individual-contributor role on the Compute DC Infrastructure team, partnering daily with Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Strategic Sourcing, Construction, and Commissioning. It is not a supplier-relationship-management role and not a people-management role — the emphasis is technical quality engineering at manufacturing facilities.
What You'll Do
Supplier qualification and readiness
Lead quality qualification of new and existing suppliers of power and cooling equipment, including on-site process audits, capability assessments, and manufacturing readiness reviews (MRRs) ahead of production release.
Translate Anthropic engineering specifications into supplier-facing quality requirements: inspection and test plans (ITPs), acceptance criteria, witness/hold points, and documentation deliverables.
Partner with Strategic Sourcing to embed quality requirements, Supplier Quality Agreements, and FAT/documentation expectations into RFPs and contracts.
Factory acceptance and in-process quality
Plan, witness, and sign off factory acceptance tests (FATs) for electrical gear (switchgear, UPS, transformers, gensets, busway, PDUs) and mechanical systems (chillers, CDUs, CRAH/fan walls, dry coolers, pumps, piping skids), including functional, performance, and integrated-system testing.
Conduct in-process and pre-shipment inspections at supplier facilities; verify build-to-print conformance, workmanship, labeling, and traceability.
Review and approve supplier test reports, quality data packages, and turnover documentation; ensure equipment ships complete and installation-ready.
Nonconformance and corrective action
Own the nonconformance (NCR) and deviation process for factory-found issues; lead containment, disposition, and root-cause analysis using 8D, 5-Why, FMEA, and fault-tree methods.
Drive supplier corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to verified closure with measurable, sustained improvement.
Investigate field-reported defects that trace back to manufacturing, and feed lessons learned into supplier requirements, ITPs, and future RFPs.
Metrics and continuous improvement
Define and track supplier quality KPIs — first-pass FAT yield, defect rate, NCR aging, on-time documentation, supplier scorecards — and report them in quarterly supplier business reviews.
Apply SPC and statistical analysis to supplier process data to identify systemic risk before it reaches a FAT.
Help build the quality framework for a rapidly scaling, multi-supplier, multi-region equipment pipeline — templates, checklists, audit standards, and the operating rhythm around them.
Who You Are
6–10+ years of quality engineering, manufacturing quality, or supplier quality experience in electrical or mechanical equipment manufacturing, mission-critical infrastructure, or a comparable regulated/high-consequence industry.
Hands-on experience with at least one side of the data center equipment stack — medium/low-voltage switchgear, UPS, generators, transformers, busway, or chillers, CDUs, air handlers, pumps — and the curiosity to come up to speed fast on the other.
Proven record planning and witnessing FATs and conducting supplier audits, with the judgment to know when to hold a shipment and when to accept with deviation.
Deep fluency in structured problem-solving and quality tools: 8D, RCA, FMEA, SPC, control plans, PPAP or equivalent.
Able to read electrical one-lines, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings and check a build against them.
Strong technical writing — you produce ITPs, audit reports, and NCR packages that stand on their own.
Comfortable operating with high autonomy and ambiguity, and communicating clearly to engineers, suppliers, and leadership.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Nice to Have
Experience with hyperscale or AI data center equipment supply chains, or with OFCI (owner-furnished, contractor-installed) delivery models.
Familiarity with liquid-cooling systems (CDUs, manifolds, quick disconnects) and the cleanliness, pressure, and leak-test regimes they require.
Working knowledge of relevant standards: UL 891/1558/1778, IEEE C37, NEMA, AHRI 550/590, ASHRAE 90.4, ASME B31.x, ISO 9001 auditing.
ASQ CQE/CQA, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, or lead-auditor certification.
Experience standing up a supplier quality function or QMS from a small base.
Proficiency with QMS/ERP platforms and data tools (SQL, Power BI, or similar).
Logistics
Location: [San Francisco / hybrid — or remote US with hub access?]
Travel: [40–60%] to supplier and integrator factories across the US and [internationally], with occasional visits to active construction sites.

We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The Applied AI for Defense team is Mistral's specialized unit dedicated to delivering high-impact, secure AI solutions for institutions operating in highly regulated and strategic environments. We work hand-in-hand with clients to design, deploy, and maintain AI systems that meet the highest standards of reliability, security, and operational excellence, including on-premise, disconnected, and air-gapped deployments.
As an AI Deployment Strategist on this team, you will drive the adoption and deployment of Mistral's AI solutions inside sovereign institutions and critical infrastructure, working closely with customers from strategic vision to production implementation. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, AI innovation, and hands-on deployment, under real operational, security, and compliance constraints. You will partner with senior leaders and mission owners to design AI roadmaps, collaborate with the Applied AI team to deliver solutions in production, and ensure seamless transitions from presales to postsales. Your work will directly contribute to projects with significant societal, operational, and strategic impact.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Strategic Discovery & Vision Setting
- Lead executive-level and mission-owner workshops to identify challenges and opportunities where Mistral's AI can drive step-change improvements in strategic environments.
- Co-create AI adoption roadmaps with customers, articulating the "art of the possible" and a clear path to value within their regulatory and security perimeter.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to develop business cases, quantify impact, and align solutions with mission and organizational objectives.
AI Solution Design & Deployment
- Architect end-to-end AI solutions, integrating Mistral's models and platform into customer workflows and secure technical infrastructure (cloud, on-premise, disconnected, air-gapped).
- Partner with the Applied AI team to design, prototype, and deploy AI solutions in production, ensuring scalability, security, and impact.
- Own the execution of pilots and proofs-of-value, demonstrating the potential of our technology and paving the way for full-scale deployment.
Value Realization & Customer Success
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding their AI strategy and ensuring they maximize the value of their investment in Mistral.
- Monitor key performance indicators tied to operational and business outcomes, and communicate progress to executive sponsors.
- Proactively identify expansion opportunities across use cases and units, building on initial successes to drive long-term partnerships.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the bridge between customers and Mistral's internal teams, synthesizing feedback to influence product, science, and security roadmaps.
- Develop reusable assets, best practices, and playbooks to scale go-to-market efforts and ensure consistent delivery excellence in regulated settings.
- Travel (~30-60%) to foster deep client relationships and support on-site deployment.
HOW WE WORK IN SOLUTIONS
- We care about people and outputs. What matters is what you ship, not the time you spend on it.
- Bureaucracy is where urgency goes to vanish. You talk to whoever you need to talk to. The best idea wins, whether it comes from a principal engineer or someone in their first week.
- Always ask why. The best solutions come from deep understanding, not from copying what worked before.
- We say what we mean. Feedback is direct, timely, and given because we care.
- No politics. Low ego, high standards.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years in a client-facing strategic and technical role (e.g. data science consulting, value engineering, or technical sales).
- A degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g. Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering).
- Foundational knowledge of AI/ML/Data Science, with the credibility to advise both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying AI applications (Python, JavaScript, or similar) to demonstrate value.
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous challenges into actionable solutions.
- Executive presence and communication skills to influence senior stakeholders (VP, C-level, mission owners).
- Resilient, results-driven, and comfortable leading through influence in a collaborative environment.
- Comfort operating under security, compliance, and confidentiality constraints.
- Experience with sales qualification frameworks (e.g. MEDDPICC) and value-based selling is a plus.
- Experience deploying AI in regulated or sovereign environments (defense, public sector, critical infrastructure) is a plus.
SECURITY & COMPLIANCE CRITERIA
- Eligibility: must hold citizenship in the target territory (France for now).
- Clearable: must meet all local requirements for high-level security clearance (e.g. no criminal record, fulfillment of national service obligations).
