Autonomous vehicles are coming to the markets in which inDrive serves, but the AV industry has a blind spot: it has almost no data from the cities where we operate. inDrive runs one of the world's largest ride-hailing fleets, concentrated in exactly the emerging markets global AV players have yet to reach. We are building the team that turns that fleet into an AV grade data platform: large scale multi sensor collection from real vehicles on real trips, evaluation of driving models against human drivers, automated and human in the loop causal annotation, and camera first 3D scene reconstruction for simulation.
We are hiring the founding leader of this workstream. This is a rare true zero to one: you will hire the team, stand up the vehicles and the data platform, set the technical bar, and own delivery end to end.
Key Responsibilities
Own the AV data workstream end to end.
Roadmap, execution, quality, and outcomes, from vehicle data capture through processing, annotation, and delivery of AV-grade datasets
Build the team from zero.
Hire and lead a multi disciplinary team covering large scale data engineering, search and serving, ML engineering across divergence detection, edge inference, and VLM based auto labeling, 3D reconstruction research, and data annotation operations. Own the hiring bar and the team's growth
Management
: Manage ML engineers' charter across the cluster
Set technical direction across disciplines.
Provide design authority for the full pipeline, including onboard capture, cloud ingestion and processing at fleet scale, semantic and causal labeling, and neural scene reconstruction, and make the key technical decisions on evidence
Partner with leaders across the organization.
Work closely with the leaders of data platform, ML ops, geo and mapping, and inDrive's wider autonomous vehicle initiatives to align roadmaps, share infrastructure, and unblock delivery
Own external partnerships.
Drive the technical relationships this work depends on, including the NVIDIA AV ecosystem and prospective AV partners consuming our data
Balance research and delivery.
Several of the core questions here are open research. You frame milestones as decision gates, redirect work based on evidence, and keep the team shipping measurable results on a schedule
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
10+ years of engineering experience in applied ML, autonomous systems, or large-scale data and ML platforms, including 3+ years in the autonomous vehicle industry or closely adjacent autonomy domains (AV data, simulation, or evaluation platforms, ADAS, robotics perception, HD mapping), and 4+ years managing engineering teams, with a track record of building teams from scratch and delivering from zero to one
Strong command of the modern AV and foundation model landscape: vision-language models, multi-modal perception, 3D reconstruction and neural rendering, and the NVIDIA AV ecosystem. Deep enough to set direction, review designs, and make evidence-based technical calls
Genuine engineering leadership range: you have successfully led data engineering, platform, or infrastructure delivery, not only ML research, and can evaluate and unblock work across those disciplines
Proven ability to take large-scale ML systems from conception to production: data pipelines, training and evaluation infrastructure, and models running under real-world constraints
Strong external presence: experience owning technical partnerships, vendor and licensing relationships, or customer-facing technical engagements at a senior level
Deep fluency in the modern ML stack (PyTorch or equivalent, large-scale training and inference, Python and Linux) and in cloud data platforms at multi-terabyte scale
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Nice to have:
AV industry experience specifically in offline evaluation, data mining, annotation platforms, or simulation, as distinct from on-vehicle stack development
Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in ML, robotics, or computer vision
Experience operating in emerging markets, and comfort building where the playbook does not exist yet

inDrive is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to serve as the US GAAP subject-matter expert for our global Revenue Accounting team, while staying hands-on in the monthly close. You will form and document the accounting conclusions behind our revenue streams, and you will also own the execution: preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and defending the numbers with auditors. This role requires regular collaboration during US Eastern business hours.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Accounting & ASC 606
Own the application of ASC 606 across all revenue streams and divisions, including the five-step model, principal vs. agent (gross vs. net) assessments, performance obligations, variable consideration, and consideration payable to customers (incentives, promotions, refunds)
Research authoritative guidance and interpretive literature, and author clear technical accounting memos and position papers for new products, pricing changes, partner contracts, and non-routine transactions
Review new commercial arrangements early to flag accounting implications, and translate conclusions into system, data, and process requirements
Assist in preparing revenue disclosures when asked (disaggregation, contract balances, remaining performance obligations) and monitor new FASB/SEC guidance to support public company readiness
Revenue Operations & Close
Prepare and post journal entries in the ERP for revenue, customer incentives, refunds and chargebacks, payment provider fees, bad debt reserves, and loan-related activity
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and revenue flux analysis; investigate variances and ensure completeness, cutoff, and accurate period alignment
Tie source and subledger data to the general ledger in a high-volume, multi-currency environment, partnering with Payment Provider Reconciliation and Data teams to resolve breaks
Controls, Audit & Process Improvement
Design, document, and operate SOX-compliant controls over revenue, including process narratives and risk and control matrices
Serve as a contact for external auditors on revenue: walkthroughs, PBC requests, and defense of technical positions
Drive automation of revenue recognition and JE workflows, partnering with Finance Systems and Data teams to reduce manual effort and risk
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Required qualifications
CPA, CA, or equivalent professional designation; bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Big 4 (or equivalent) public accounting and industry revenue or technical accounting
Deep, hands-on ASC 606 expertise with a track record of writing technical memos that withstand auditor scrutiny
Strong command of US GAAP more broadly, plus working knowledge of SOX and internal controls
Hands-on close experience: preparing and posting JEs, reconciliations, and flux analysis in an ERP (NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle)
Experience with high transaction volumes and multi-currency accounting; advanced Excel skills
Excellent written and verbal English; able to explain complex conclusions simply to non-accountants
Preferred qualifications
Experience at a public company or through IPO readiness, including SEC reporting and PCAOB audits
Background in marketplaces, platforms, payments, or fintech, where principal vs. agent and incentive accounting are central
Comfort with SQL/BigQuery or revenue subledger tools; a drive to automate and improve processes in a fast-moving, global environment

About Wolt
At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.
Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.
About the Team
Our Infrastructure teams build the foundation that engineers at Wolt, Deliveroo, and DoorDash build on: the compute, cloud, and networking capabilities that enable Engineering teams to develop, deploy, and run services at global scale. The EU Compute team has a specific focus on provisioning, scaling, and the efficient operation of GPU infrastructure for AI and ML workloads. This is an emerging space with plenty of greenfield opportunities.
We're looking for a Staff Engineer to be a hands-on technical leader for this infrastructure work that crosses team and brand boundaries. You'll set direction for the platform, turn complex problems into deliverable plans, write and review production code, and help other engineers make sound decisions. It's an exciting time to join: we're building a global platform and the choices made now will shape how engineers across the company ship for years.
What you’ll be doing
You'll own some of the hardest infrastructure problems in the company and make the platform easier to operate and safer to build on. We’re determined to build great platform products and user experiences, and you’ll be pivotal in making this reality.
Day-to-day in this role you’ll:
Set technical direction for shared AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure, balancing reliability, security, developer experience, and cost.
Lead substantial initiatives from design through rollout and operation, coordinating dependencies and decisions across Wolt, Deliveroo and DoorDash, focusing on workloads targeting GPUs.
Evolve Kubernetes clusters, cloud networking, identity, and infrastructure provisioning to support growing and varied workloads.
Build reusable Terraform patterns and self-service tooling that help teams provision infrastructure safely and consistently.
Improve deployment and operational practices, including GitOps, observability, capacity planning, incident response and recovery.
Use production signals and developer feedback to find platform friction, choose where to invest and measure whether changes actually help.
Assist with supporting the platform, with deep focus on GPU infrastructure, as well as broad focus on compute in general.
Gracefully sunset legacy infrastructure and tooling, and create strategies to reduce toil.
Mentor engineers through design reviews, implementation and incidents, raising the quality of infrastructure work across teams.
Our humble expectations
Deep experience building and operating Kubernetes and AWS infrastructure in production. Familiarity with GPU workloads and orchestration is a plus.
Strong software engineering skills: you use Go, Python or a similar language to build maintainable tools and automation.
Experience with infrastructure as code (we use Terraform) and with designing systems that other engineering teams depend on.
A track record of leading complex technical work across teams, including architectural decisions, delivery, and operational follow-through. You have the breadth to collaborate and design across team and domain boundaries, and the depth to have hands-on impact.
Strong judgment on trade-offs in distributed systems, networking, security, reliability, and cloud cost.
Clear communication, and the ability to bring people together around a practical technical direction.
What we offer
Scope and influence.
Shape infrastructure used globally, while staying close to the engineering. Your work will help product teams ship services with greater ease and confidence.
Real problems at global scale.
Multi-cluster Kubernetes, AI / ML workloads, cloud networking, GitOps, and progressive delivery across a global company.
Autonomy and ownership.
Set direction and see it through from design to operation, with the backing of a global engineering organisation spanning Europe and the US.
Growth.
Room to expand your scope, whether through deeper technical leadership or broader cross-domain influence.
Great people.
Work with talented engineers and leaders in a diverse, international environment, mentoring and learning from others.
Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
We’re committed to growing and empowering a more inclusive community within our company, industry, and cities. That’s why we hire and cultivate diverse teams of people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We believe that true innovation happens when everyone has room at the table and the tools, resources, and opportunity to excel.
