Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
About the team
The Value Proposition & New Benefits team owns what our core value proposition for subscription should be, and the new benefits that bring it to life. We sit within the wider Subscription EMEA org, whose vision is to create the world's leading membership programme in local commerce, delivering unprecedented value and a world-class experience to members.
The role
We're looking for a Strategy & Operations Manager to own strategy and execution for new benefits within Subscription. This is a hybrid strategy/build/run role: you'll define what to launch, then work cross-functionally to get it shipped and measure whether it's working. You'll be expected to move fluidly between strategic thinking and hands-on execution — this is not a role where strategy stops at a slide deck.
Typical problems you'll own:
What new benefits should we launch for Subscription — which ideas are worth pursuing, and what's the business case for each?
How do we prioritise and sequence a pipeline of benefit ideas against limited engineering, design, and operational capacity?
How do we define success for a new benefit before launch — what does a good outcome look like, and what would tell us to kill it?
Once live, how is a benefit actually performing — impact on acquisition, retention, frequency, and member satisfaction — against its cost to serve, and what does that tell us to do next?
How do we take a benefit from a small pilot to a scaled, steady-state feature, and what needs to be true operationally for that to work?
What you'll do
Own the strategy and roadmap
for new benefits within Subscription — build the analysis, the business case, and the plan, and drive it through to execution.
Cross-functional delivery
— partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, and Finance to take benefit ideas from concept to launch, without formal authority over any of them.
Build and prioritise the benefit pipeline
— evaluate a stream of ideas (experiential, use-case specific, or otherwise), size their potential impact and cost, and decide what's worth building next.
Track ongoing performance
— maintain visibility into each live benefit's impact on acquisition, retention, frequency, and satisfaction against its cost to serve, flagging when something needs attention.
Scale what works
— take benefits from small pilots to steady-state features, defining the operating model, reporting cadence, and processes needed to run them sustainably.
Bring outside-in perspective
— track what Uber One, DashPass, Wolt+, Just Eat and Amazon Prime are doing with membership benefits, and translate what's relevant into Deliveroo's context.
Communicate to senior stakeholders
— write clear strategy documents and present recommendations, trade-offs, and results to leadership.
What we're looking for
5+ years of experience in strategy & operations, strategy consulting, or business operations — ideally with exposure to marketplaces, subscription/membership businesses, or consumer tech.
Commercial acumen
: strong understanding of marketplace dynamics and subscriber value; comfortable building a business case and owning a set of P&L-adjacent metrics.
Analytical rigor
: comfortable interpreting data and experiment results to make a clear business call — you'll partner with Data Science on the "how" and "so what."
Bias for action and ownership
: able to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous problems ("what should we build, and how will we know it worked?"), and to drive execution personally rather than just recommend.
Cross-functional influence
: track record of aligning senior stakeholders and diverse functions (Product, Eng, Finance, Marketing) around a shared plan in a fast-moving, matrixed environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication — able to distill complex trade-offs into a clear recommendation for leadership.
Nice to have
Multi-market experience across EMEA
Background in a subscription, loyalty, or membership business (delivery, e-commerce, fintech, or otherwise).
Benefits (Deliveroo standard — adjust per market)
Free Subscription
Up to 5% matched pension contributions
Equity / share awards eligibility
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with tenure, plus 1 day paid volunteering leave
Funded private healthcare (core plan), with option to add family
Wellbeing perks: on-site gym / discounted gym membership, GymPass access
Enhanced parental leave from day one
Learning & development budget and access to RooLearn
Cycle to Work / Season Ticket Loan schemes
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
At Deliveroo, we know that a great workplace reflects the world around us and that true diversity and inclusion make us stronger, more creative, and better at what we do. We’re committed to fostering an environment where everyone can do their best work and feel they belong.

Join us in shaping the experience that millions of customers land on every time they open DoorDash, Wolt, or Deliveroo. As part of our Core Consumer organisation, our Homepage team owns one of the single biggest levers we have on what customers find and one of the hardest surfaces in the app to get right.
Working at the intersection of ranking, personalisation, and AI/ML, you'll help decide what each customer sees and why, across three brands and dozens of markets. You'll be building on a global stack, and your roadmap will be a mix: global platform problems that apply worldwide, global capabilities we're accelerating into EMEA, and EMEA-specific problems worth solving properly rather than working around.
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Homepage team. In this role, you'll shape how customers discover restaurants, grocery and retail venues, dishes and products — and help define what discovery looks like as AI-driven and agentic experiences change the way people decide what to order.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be joining a team working on one of the most-used surfaces in the app.
Here's what your day-to-day might look like:
Building new end-to-end features and user experiences on Homepage that shape how customers discover restaurants, grocery and retail venues, dishes, and products.
Working on ranking, personalisation, and AI/ML problems in the Homepage domain, including how we decide what each customer sees and why.
Exploring where AI-driven and agentic experiences change the way customers discover what to order.
Making discovery work across three brands and many markets, without flattening into one-size-fits-all.
What You'll Need to Thrive
Our ideal candidate will bring strong product judgment and curiosity to grow into the rest:
Proven experience as a Product Manager on consumer-facing products - discovery, homepage, feed, or ranking-driven experiences are especially relevant.
You are a product manager more than a feature owner. Someone who finds the customer problems that matter most and makes the case for solving them.
You work backwards from the customer problem, and weigh it against what the business needs most right now.
You're comfortable holding several business objectives at once and making a call when they pull in different directions.
You work well with a wide range of stakeholders and build trust with people whose priorities differ from your own.
You think strategically and can move between long-term direction and what we should ship next.
You're comfortable with ambiguity and genuinely flexible (this industry is changing fast, AI most of all).
You're curious about what AI actually changes for customers, and can tell real value from hype.
Next steps
The position will be filled as soon as we find the right person, so make sure to apply as soon as you realize you really, really want to join us!
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
At Deliveroo, we know that a great workplace reflects the world around us and that true diversity and inclusion make us stronger, more creative, and better at what we do. We’re committed to fostering an environment where everyone can do their best work and feel they belong.
We believe in equality of opportunity and welcome candidates from all backgrounds regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, socio-economic background, religion, or belief.
If you have a disability or long-term health condition and need support to apply for one of our roles, or require any reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process, you’ll have the opportunity to let us know once you’ve submitted your application. We’ll share details on how to request support so we can ensure you have a fair and equitable experience.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Senior User Acquisition Manager to take full ownership of Meta paid traffic and drive subscriptions through web funnels within a single project. Meta is the core channel, with room to expand into additional sources such as AppLovin, X, TikTok and Snapchat. You'll manage 7-figure budgets across multiple GEOs, decide what to test, scale and cut, and be accountable for results.
Performance is measured on real business metrics (CPA, ROAS and cohorts), not surface-level platform numbers. We are an AI-first team, so we expect you to use Claude and automation to move faster and to streamline your day-to-day workflows.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and scale paid social campaigns on Meta end to end: account structure, bidding, budget allocation, optimization and scaling.
- Expand into additional sources (AppLovin, X, TikTok, Snapchat) and look for new growth levers: audiences, formats, placements and campaign types.
- Scale spend across multiple GEOs while holding CPA and ROAS targets.
- Run structured creative testing with the creative team on all channels, with clear hypotheses and simple scale/kill rules.
- Work with the data team on reports, cohort analysis and deep dives, quickly diagnose drops and spikes and act on them.
- Manage signal quality: conversion events, event value, purchase optimization, attribution.
- Protect account health: manage ad account structure, backups and policy compliance.
- Work with platform reps on betas, new campaign types and escalations.
- Use Claude and automation (skills, scripts, workflows) to speed up builds, reporting and optimization.
- Prepare a clear strategy, document tests and learnings, and keep an eye on market trends and competitors.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Paid social experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns, with Meta as your main platform (TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, or AppLovin experience is a plus) and a proven ability to scale budgets efficiently while maintaining strong ROI.
- High-budget management: experience managing $500k+ in monthly ad spend, with consistent optimization and sustainable growth.
- Multi-GEO expertise: experience running and scaling campaigns across multiple countries and regions, and making independent, data-driven scaling decisions.
- Strong analytical skills: solid command of CPA, ROAS, and cohort analysis, plus proficiency in tools like Omni/Tableau/Mixpanel and the ability to build custom performance analyses.
- Meta platform knowledge: deep understanding of account structures, audience targeting, bidding strategies, and creative testing methodologies.
- AI and automation: experience automating user acquisition workflows with AI, automated rules or scripts, and a mindset of constantly looking for ways to work smarter.
- Autonomous and proactive: you take ownership, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and spot opportunities for testing, optimization, and growth.
- Growth mindset: strong motivation to learn, experiment and scale, with a focus on long-term performance.
- Clear communication: strong English, with the ability to present insights, results and recommendations to stakeholders.
