LEAP Program Description
Global Solutions Ventures (GSV) – a joint-venture partnership between ZemiTek, LLC and Dexis Consulting Group – is implementing the Long-term Exceptional Technical Assistance Project (LEAP Global), a mechanism originally used by USAID to battle against infectious diseases such as malaria, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, neglected tropical diseases, and pandemic influenza. As of July 1, 2025, LEAP Global transitioned to the U.S. Department of State (DOS). This initiative aims to address the complex human resource challenges faced by national infectious disease programs in the USA-supported countries.
The intervention of this project is to hire and embed technical expert advisors and subject matter experts within government entities. By directly embedding the technical expertise within the national programs, LEAP provides long-term, sustainable lifesaving support to empower host governments to lead and manage key aspects of their infectious disease portfolios and improve coordination between the U.S. Government and the host country.
About the Position
The Senior Malaria Advisor will support the National Malaria Program in carrying out life-saving humanitarian assistance (LHA) in full alignment with the new Presidential Executive Order (EO) directives. The primary focus of the Advisor will be technical leadership to ensure the successful implementation of cost-effective, lifesaving direct service delivery for malaria prevention and treatment.
The Senior Malaria Advisor will provide expert malaria technical guidance to the National Malaria Program (NMP) and the Ministry of Health in the design and management of in-country programs/projects/activities and in the development of host-country policies, reflecting best practices in malaria prevention and control. The jobholder will identify programmatic bottlenecks and facilitate solutions through coordinated technical expertise in support of the cooperating country’s development objectives. The Senior Malaria Advisor will be based at the NMP within the Ministry of Health (MOH). The Advisor will receive day-to-day direction from the National Malaria Program Manager, who will serve as the onsite Manager/Supervisor. The Advisor will report to the U.S. Department of State on a weekly and monthly basis, as described below.
Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
Provide expert malaria technical guidance to advance planning and implementation of malaria control interventions.
Support the development of national malaria program strategies and work plans.
Coordinate the design, planning and implementation of malaria prevention and control activities consistent with the US government’s strategy and with the NMP. This will include but is not limited to vector control, case management at facility and community level, chemoprevention, support for malaria vaccine implementation, malaria in pregnancy, procurement and delivery of life-saving commodities, and associated monitoring and surveillance to ensure accountability and track progress.
Together with the host country partners, provide the technical and managerial expertise to MOH health districts and local communities to strengthen institutional capacity.
Keep abreast of current developments and successful interventions via regular engagement with malaria experts (domestic and international) and NMP officials, ensuring proven strategies and interventions are integrated in national malaria programming.
Management of Program/Activity Implementation
Ensure that U.S. government resources are maximized towards achievement of sustained results in malaria in line with U.S. government laws, regulations, policies, and procedures to prevent fraud, waste and abuse.
Provide technical support to the Department of State implementing partners and managerial support as needed during the planning, design and implementation phases to ensure the quality of interventions and programmatic targets are met.
Recommend changes in strategic and/or implementation approaches, using analysis of program performance.
Work with partners (in country and global, as relevant) to ensure that programmatic commodities are purchased in a timely and cost-effective manner; and that absorptive capacity exists in implementation sites to receive, manage and distribute these items effectively. Participate in forecasting and quantification meetings to inform malaria commodity quantifications that will guide donor procurements. Troubleshoot bottlenecks in the ordering and delivery process.
Provide expert advice and practical experience in helping the MoH, the NMP and other partners to monitor inputs, outputs and outcomes, and report on the program’s overall impact.
If not already in existence, work with the NMP and other partners to develop and maintain a monitoring and evaluation plan to be implemented through existing MoH systems and existing USG supported mechanisms. Carry out monitoring and evaluation visits to implementation sites to ascertain all quantitative and qualitative data is collected properly, and programmatic quality and value for money are maintained.
Coordination of Malaria Partners
Ensure effective communication and coordination between the NMP, MoH and other partners related to malaria prevention and control; Global Fund partners including other departments in the host country; donor agencies; and other stakeholders working on malaria control in the host country, as appropriate.
Ensure malaria activities are integrated into overall U.S. Department of State-supported health activities and coordinate these activities with the NMP and MoH to avoid duplication of effort and programming gaps.
Coordinate with other partners and support efforts to address malaria control delivery gaps and help build technical and managerial capacity within the NMP at the national, district and lower levels.
Participate in and contribute to malaria related service delivery meetings hosted by the NMP and others.
Communications:

About the Team
You will join our global Web3 growth and ecosystem team and support the global growth and ecosystem development of broader Web3 initiatives.
This is a global role working closely with cross-functional teams across multiple markets and regions to identify opportunities.
Responsibilities will be carried out in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Role Overview
This is a global Web3 growth and ecosystem role, based in Hong Kong and operating across markets. We are looking for a globally minded operations professional who is deeply involved in the on-chain ecosystem, understands diverse on-chain user communities, and can independently plan and execute campaigns across regions.
You will work around X Layer and OKX Wallet to connect ecosystem projects, communities, and users worldwide; bring high-quality applications to real users; and turn campaign participation into sustained on-chain usage and ecosystem growth.
This focuses respectively on public blockchain ecosystem partnerships and operations and global Wallet user growth and campaign operations. Both require strong ecosystem knowledge, cross-market user insight, and end-to-end campaign execution capabilities.
What You’ll Be Doing
Ecosystem Research and Opportunity Identification
: Continuously track leading public blockchains and sectors such as DeFi, on-chain trading, and consumer applications across global markets. Identify projects with product value, an established user base, and growth potential, and develop actionable partnership and operational plans.
Ecosystem Partnerships and Development
: Build and maintain relationships with project teams, communities, and ecosystem partners across regions. Drive globally scalable co-marketing campaigns, application promotion, and user education, while continuously tracking post-launch activity and growth.
Global User Insights and Operations
: Engage deeply with on-chain user communities across markets to understand the motivations, decision-making habits, and barriers faced by different user segments. Establish user segmentation and feedback mechanisms, and optimise the conversion journey from first-time experience to ongoing usage.
Campaign Planning and Execution
: Independently lead global and regional ecosystem co-marketing campaigns, on-chain quests, trading campaigns, community incentive programs, AMAs, and online/offline events. Own target-setting, campaign mechanics, budget planning, resource coordination, launch execution, and post-campaign analysis.
Growth and Data Analysis:
Define metrics around qualified new users, first on-chain interactions, activity, retention, and partner-project growth. Evaluate performance using on-chain and product data, and continuously optimize participation requirements, incentive mechanisms, and operational investment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with global Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Data, and regional teams to turn user feedback into product and operational improvements, ensuring a seamless connection between campaigns and the product experience.
What We Look For In You
Experience in Web3 ecosystem operations, user growth, community operations, or campaign operations. Able to provide complete case studies of projects personally led, with verifiable results.
Long-term, hands-on participation in the on-chain ecosystem. Proficient in using wallets, DEXs, cross-chain bridges, and mainstream DApps; understands core concepts such as token approvals, gas fees, slippage, and liquidity; and can independently conduct product-experience and user-journey analysis.
Familiarity with on-chain users and their communities. Understands behavioral differences among trading-focused, DeFi-focused, and task-driven users, and can distinguish short-term, incentive-driven participation from needs that support sustained usage.
Understanding of public blockchain ecosystem-building dynamics, including project onboarding, application distribution, user acquisition, liquidity, and communities. Able to design partnership proposals that create value for both project teams and users.
Proven experience independently planning and executing campaigns. Able to clearly articulate campaign objectives, target audience, mechanics, budget, execution process, and final outcomes, and propose improvements based on post-campaign reviews.

ABOUT BASETEN
Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma, and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F https://www.baseten.co/blog/announcing-our-series-f/, led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products.
THE ROLE
Storage decides how fast agent sandboxes start and how safely they share data. Agents need a filesystem that thousands of sandboxes mount at the same time, with strict isolation and the consistency agents need. Agent context is mostly small files, so the access patterns look very different from storage built for large files.
The Agent Infra team builds Agent Drive, the distributed filesystem that agent sandboxes mount over FUSE, and the storage underneath it. The work uses tiered caching, replication, content-addressed data, and Linux filesystem internals. In September 2026, Baseten acquired Blaxel https://www.baseten.co/blog/blaxel-is-joining-baseten-to-build-the-future-of-agentic-cloud/, whose sandboxes and Agent Drive filesystem are the foundation for Baseten Sandboxes https://docs.baseten.co/sandboxes.
We are building a cloud, not just using one, so storage is designed for many tenants from day one. The team is small and ownership is big: we ship in weeks and months, not multi-year programs.
If you care about page cache coherency, FUSE, replication protocols, and content-addressable storage, we'd love to talk.
EXAMPLE INITIATIVES
- Blaxel is joining Baseten to build the future of agentic infrastructure https://www.baseten.co/blog/blaxel-is-joining-baseten-to-build-the-future-of-agentic-cloud/
- Baseten Sandboxes documentation https://docs.baseten.co/sandboxes
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement core Agent Drive features: metadata replication, volume placement, garbage collection, and FUSE client behavior
- Solve multi-attach correctness: cache coherency across many FUSE mounts of the same drive, dentry and inode invalidation, write ordering, and crash consistency
- Optimize tail latency on read and write paths, including page cache strategy, writeback, prefetch, and metadata RPC batching
- Build tenant isolation into the storage layer, including quota enforcement, blast-radius containment, and noisy-neighbor mitigation
- Own the storage side of sandbox startup and resume performance
- Build durable block storage for sandboxes alongside other Baseten storage teams
- Build observability into every layer, drive storage incidents end to end, and turn each one into a permanent fix
- Contribute upstream to the open-source storage projects we build on
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong systems programming background in Go, Rust, and/or C/C++, with comfort reading kernel code
- Deep understanding of Linux filesystem and storage internals: VFS, page cache, dentry and inode caches, FUSE, the block I/O stack, fsync semantics, and crash consistency
- Hands-on experience building distributed storage systems, content-addressable storage, or large-scale caching infrastructure
- Experience profiling I/O, memory, and RPC bottlenecks and optimizing tail latency in production
- Ability to debug correctness bugs that only show up under concurrency or partial failure
- You move fast and like owning a problem end to end on a small team
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with a distributed filesystem or object store such as JuiceFS, CephFS, or S3-compatible storage, or contributions to those projects
- Knowledge of consensus and replication protocols (Raft, leader leases, quorum reads)
- Experience with snapshot, clone, and copy-on-write filesystem features
- Experience operating multi-tenant storage with hard isolation requirements
- Familiarity with Linux performance tooling such as eBPF, io_uring, perf, ftrace, and blktrace
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI! If you are a motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and a desire to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
At Baseten, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, or veteran status.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable law (by example, the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, where applicable).

About Niantic Spatial
AI has learned from almost everything online, but it still struggles with the physical world, where 99.5% of economic activity happens. It doesn’t know where things are, how spaces fit together, or what changes over time.
That’s one of the biggest unsolved problems in AI, and it’s the one we’re solving at Niantic Spatial. We build spatial AI models and services so people and machines can reason, learn and act safely in the physical world. We turn camera imagery, video, sensor data and archives into accurate, AI-readable representations of real places that robots can train in and machines can use to know exactly where they are.
In physical AI, mistakes have real consequences. That’s why we build AI grounded in measured reality, not guesswork, so the people and machines relying on it can trust it to get things right.
Our team built some of the world’s most widely used maps. Now we’re building something bigger: a living, measured record of the real world that machines can query, learn from and use to understand how places change over time. If you want to help AI understand the world we actually live in, come build with us.

Compensation & Benefits
The expected hourly rate for this internship is $48 – $70/hour, based on assessed skills, experience, and relevant coursework. Housing assistance and relocation support available for candidates outside the Bay Area — details provided during the offer process.
Location & Work Model
This internship is based in our San Francisco, CA office. We work in a high-collaboration environment and ask interns to be on-site a minimum of 4 days per week. To make that easy, we provide lunch every day and snacks are always stocked.
Inclusive Application
We know the strongest candidates don't always tick every box. If you're excited about this role and believe you could do it well, we encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every qualification listed — you may be exactly who we're looking for.
Equal Opportunity
Niantic Spatial is an equal opportunity employer. - Establish observability, quality metrics, service-level objectives, and load testing practices to prepare for major creator live events.
- Own production reliability through incident response, debugging, capacity planning, and lasting improvements to system resilience.
- Partner with product, infrastructure, web, and mobile engineers to shape a multi-quarter video roadmap that balances creator needs with architectural health.
- Mentor engineers through hands-on collaboration and design reviews, growing video expertise within the team.

- Experience architecting and delivering live video systems supporting large audiences, ideally 100,000+ concurrent viewers.
- Deep knowledge of live streaming technologies, including HLS, low-latency HLS, and WebRTC, and the trade-offs between latency, quality, reliability, and cost.

- Proficiency in Python, Go, or a similar backend language, with a commitment to hands-on engineering.
- Ability to explain technical trade-offs clearly, guide cross-functional decisions, and translate ambiguous needs into a technical roadmap.
- Experience mentoring engineers and establishing technical standards that improve system quality and team effectiveness.

WHY WORK AT HIGGSFIELD AI?
Higgsfield AI is the fastest-scaling generative AI company in history: $1B in annual revenue run rate, 30M+ users worldwide, 6M+ generations per day, and 390 Fortune 500 brands as customers.
We're building at the frontier of AI-powered video creation and next-generation creative tools. We aren't just moving fast. We're changing what fast means.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Growth engineering is product engineering where the main output is learning. You'll write code that helps people discover Higgsfield, get to their first great result and keep coming back. Then you'll measure whether it worked.
Some of what you build will be thrown away after a week, and some will become part of a product used by millions. Telling the two apart is the job.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- You think about outcomes. Before you build, you know what the change should move. After you ship, you go and check.
- You see a failed experiment as a result. A clear "no" is progress, and you're happy to delete code that didn't earn its place.
- You turn vague problems into working software. Give you a question with no known answer, and you come back with a plan and a first version.
- You know when to go quick and when to go solid. Disposable when testing an idea, robust once it proves itself. Fast on experiments, careful wherever user trust is at stake.
- You have business sense and data literacy. They matter to you as much as clean code.
- You're AI-native in how you work. You use AI coding tools every day, and you verify what they produce.
- You're resilient. You do your best work in a high-intensity startup environment.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Turn hypotheses about user behavior into shipped experiments. See each one through from instrumentation to the decision to scale, iterate or stop.
- Work across the whole user lifecycle (acquisition, activation, monetization and retention) instead of inside a single feature.
- Build product experiences where correctness and reliability matter as much as speed.
- Build the foundations that make experiments fast and safe: instrumentation, reusable building blocks and monitoring.
- Partner closely with product, design, data and marketing. Explain trade-offs, and push back when it's needed.
- Own what you ship in production. If a number moves the wrong way after a release, you're among the first to notice and act.
- Keep the product fast, because speed is a feature our users feel.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- In your first weeks, you ship to production and launch your first experiment.
- Within a few months, you own a part of the user journey and can show what you've moved.
YOUR MUST HAVES
- Advanced expertise in TypeScript, React, Next.js and CSS.
- You've shipped user-facing features whose impact was measured, and you can talk about what worked and what didn't.
- Hands-on experience with A/B testing and product analytics. You're comfortable reading the data yourself.
- Strong grasp of web performance and responsive, cross-browser development.
- Testing and CI/CD practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, and commitment to finishing what you start.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
NICE TO HAVE
- Previous experience on a growth or monetization team.
- Experience with subscription products.
- Experience building experimentation or analytics tooling.
- Enough backend experience to shape an API together with backend engineers.
THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF
- You need detailed specs and a roadmap that stays fixed for months.
- You'd rather polish one feature for a quarter than ship many experiments and keep the ones that work.
- You don't want to look at metrics after a release.
THE DEAL
- Top-of-market compensation in USD.
- Meaningful stock options with significant upside.
- Small team, high autonomy and outsized impact.
- On-site role in our Almaty office (we will relocate you from anywhere).
