ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Data Analytics Engineer to build, optimize, and maintain the analytical data layer that powers decision-making across the organization. You will transform business requirements into reliable, well-modeled datasets using dbt, SQL, and cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, ClickHouse). This role combines data modeling, documentation, data quality design, and close collaboration with analysts, engineers, and product teams to ensure consistent, trustworthy reporting.
You will serve as the bridge between raw data ingestion and analytics — shaping how data is structured, validated, and delivered.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain dbt models (staging, core, marts) based on business needs
- Develop scalable SQL transformations and ensure efficient, cost-effective query performance
- Implement data quality tests (dbt tests, custom checks, anomaly detection) and maintain high data reliability.
- Create and maintain documentation for datasets, data lineage, business logic, and transformation rules
- Collaborate with Data Engineers on improving raw data structures, ingestion patterns, and source readiness
- Partner with Data Analysts, Product Managers, and Marketing teams to translate business requirements into clean, reusable data models
- Monitor data pipelines and marts, resolve issues, and prevent inconsistencies in reporting
- Support governance initiatives: naming conventions, taxonomy, schemas, metric definitions, and standardization
- Contribute to continuous improvement of our data modeling frameworks, performance tuning, and technical decision-making
Requirements
- Strong SQL experience with a deep understanding of analytical modeling concepts
- Hands-on experience with dbt (models, tests, docs, macros)
- Experience working with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery or ClickHouse
- Understanding of data modeling patterns
- Familiarity with data engineering concepts (ELT/ETL, orchestration, version control, CI/CD)
- Experience with data quality frameworks or implementing validation logic
- Ability to translate complex business processes into clean analytical datasets.
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting analysts with reliable data
- Knowledge of Python is a plus (but not required)
Nice To Haves
- Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster)
- Experience working with marketing, product, or billing datasets
- Exposure to metric layers, semantic layer design, or BI governance
- Basic understanding of observability tooling (Grafana, Prometheus, ... )
- Experience optimizing BigQuery costs or ClickHouse performance

The Role
As a member of the analytics team, you bring order to vast amounts of internal and external data so OnePay can make better data-driven credit decisions, faster. In this role, you will:
- Own credit strategy end-to-end across advance, overdraft and other credit products — creating policies that balance growth and risk
- Think holistically about customer behavior, not just program-level metrics — connect segmentation and behavioral signals across products to uncover new insights
- Launch new credit products from scratch balancing first principles and limited data to scale innovative experiences with a credit and product lens
- Leverage AI-powered tools and techniques to accelerate analysis, develop and validate predictive insights, and push the boundaries of what’s possible in product analytics.

You bring
- 4-8 years of professional experience in credit analytics with a proven track record of leveraging quantitative analyses to drive business or product changes in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills — you can go from ambiguous questions to clear insights.
- Intellectual curiosity to look beyond the ‘what’ and answer the ‘why’.
- An act-like-an-owner mentality. We have a bias toward taking action.

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a Head of Fund Analytics & Automation who is a hands-on builder, rigorous with data, and fluent in finance conversations to join our Credit Fund team in the office of the Chief Credit Officer. The best candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and exceptionally dynamic setting and is excited to design, build, and operate the fund's entire data and automation stack end to end — and then own it as the fund goes live.
The credit fund is being built with a deliberately small team. Instead of hiring several analysts and operations staff, we want one senior technical hire who can do both: engineer the platform and sit across the table from investors and borrowers. Underwriting here is built on real payment telemetry — including Xsolla transaction data — and that data edge is the foundation of this role.
Strong SQL, Python, and production automation skills are essential, along with real experience in portfolio analytics, market risk, or credit. The ability to ship audit-grade systems and then defend the numbers in front of LPs and borrowers will be key to your success in this role. The role starts as a builder and becomes the owner-operator of the platform, with a growing seat in underwriting decisions and, as the platform and deal volume grow, scope to hire and lead a small team.
If you're passionate about applying AI-governed automation to private credit and love building the systems that let a lean team punch far above its weight, we would love to hear from you!
ABOUT US
Xsolla is a global commerce company with robust tools and services to help developers solve the inherent challenges of the video game industry. From indie to AAA, companies partner with Xsolla to help them fund, distribute, market, and monetize their games. Grounded in the belief in the future of video games, Xsolla is resolute in the mission to bring opportunities together, and continually make new resources available to creators. Headquartered and incorporated in Los Angeles, California, Xsolla operates as the merchant of record and has helped over 1,500+ game developers to reach more players and grow their businesses around the world. With more paths to profits and ways to win, developers have all the things needed to enjoy the game.
For more information, visit xsolla.com.
Responsibilities
First 6 months — priorities in order
- Deal pipeline live: origination intake through credit committee, with the full audit trail. - Scoring data layer: borrower financials and payment telemetry ingested, stored, and under documented data contracts. - LP / fundraising pipeline instrumented, and first investor reporting shipped.
Explicitly out of scope: legal documentation, fund administration, and accounting — these sit with external providers.
Phase 1: Build (through first close)
Deal pipeline management
- Design and run the full deal workflow: origination intake, screening, scoring, credit committee, closing.
- Implement it as governed automation (workflow orchestration such as n8n or similar, with LLM-assisted steps where they add value): every automated output validated against a defined schema, low-confidence results routed to human review, and a complete audit trail suitable for LP due diligence.
Scoring and underwriting data layer
- Build the ingestion and storage layer for borrower financials and payments telemetry (including Xsolla transaction data) — PostgreSQL or equivalent, ETL pipelines, materialized views, documented data contracts.
- Develop credit scoring and forecasting models in Python, with proper train/test discipline, leakage and PII exclusion, and ongoing monitoring for drift and degradation.
- Maintain evaluation and regression checks so model and automation quality is measured continuously, not assumed.
Fundraising / LP pipeline
- Build and operate the investor pipeline: CRM automation, conference and referral pipeline tracking, follow-up orchestration, and data room preparation and upkeep.
- Instrument the pipeline so we always know conversion rates, stage aging, and next actions per LP.
Investor and borrower dashboards
- Ship reporting for both audiences: fund-level metrics for investors, facility-level metrics for borrowers.
- Numbers must reconcile to source systems and be reproducible outside the BI tool — audit-grade, not demo-grade. Tableau / Power BI or a lightweight web dashboard, whichever fits.
Reliability, cost, and security of the stack
- Budget caps and cost monitoring on all AI-assisted automation; regression canaries before changes ship.
- Access control and data protection appropriate for fund data: deny-by-default permissions, audit logs, strict handling of LP identities, borrower financials, and deal terms.
- Documented runbooks and handover-ready documentation as part of "done" — the stack must be operable by someone other than its author.
Phase 2: Operate (post-close)
- Move into an operating role on the underwriting side: portfolio monitoring, covenant and collateral tracking, scenario and stress analysis.
- Extend the platform to other investment types and support the capital formation team with the same pipeline and reporting infrastructure.
Client and investor facing
This is not a back-office role. The person will join investor and borrower meetings, present the dashboards and the numbers behind them, and field diligence questions directly. Fluency in finance conversations is as important as engineering. The person will also respond to LP operational due diligence questionnaires on the data and automation stack.
Qualifications and Skills
Required
- 7+ years across data analytics / data engineering, including recent hands-on experience building and running production automation (not prototypes or notebooks).
- Proven production experience with LLM-based automation: schema-validated outputs, human review gates, evaluation and regression testing, cost-tiered model routing.
- Strong SQL and Python; ownership of a PostgreSQL (or similar) data platform end to end — ETL, materialized views, performance tuning, data contracts.
- Workflow orchestration experience (n8n, Airflow, or comparable).
- BI and dashboarding: Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or equivalent web dashboards; a track record of reporting that executives actually used for decisions.
- Security discipline for sensitive data: role-based access, deny-by-default policies, audit trails, PII handling.
- Finance background: degree in finance or quantitative field plus real experience in portfolio analytics, market risk, or credit — able to hold their own in an underwriting or investor conversation.
- Strong written and spoken English; comfortable presenting to senior external audiences.
Preferred
- Direct exposure to private credit, lending, or fund operations.
- Forecasting and statistical modeling track record (capacity planning, SLA/risk forecasting, or similar).
- Experience with embeddings / semantic search and multi-model AI setups.
- Web development ability (React / TypeScript or similar) for internal tools and dashboards.
- Experience in audited or regulated environments (SOC 2, fund audits, or equivalent).
Benefits
We are passionate about fostering a supportive environment for our team, so we prioritize the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our employees and their families through a comprehensive Benefits Program. This includes 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision plans, unlimited Flexible Time Off, and a personalized career roadmap for each employee. By investing in professional development through training and educational opportunities, we ensure that our team thrives both personally and professionally. OUR STORY:
Every year millions of people are either filing their taxes in fear or giving up on their tax refund altogether. We're working on fixing that. Our intuitive app enables anyone, regardless of education or background, to file their taxes with newfound confidence.
Spread across Germany, Spain and the UK, the team at Taxfix Group with its brands Taxfix and Steuerbot, is a compassionate group of solution-finders. We speak our minds openly, and with over 400 professionals, including tax experts, developers, and IT security experts, we're rich in ideas and voices. The group has facilitated more than 3.5 billion euros in tax refunds for its customers since its founding in 2016.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Taxfix is continuously evolving its business model for scalability in the context of a subscription-driven revenue base. This shapes how we plan, forecast, and measure the business, and it makes revenue planning one of the most interesting places to work in FP&A right now.
As Senior Financial Analyst in the FP&A team, you will take care of the company topline model and help shape a scalable revenue planning landscape. You will report to the Senior Director of FP&A and work closely with Product, Marketing, Monetization, Data, and Accounting, with regular exposure to the Senior Leadership team.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the company topline revenue model: design, maintain, and continuously improve it, with clear accountability for forecast accuracy.
- Lead the redesign of the revenue modeling landscape toward a scalable, and auditable structure with a single source of truth.
- Build subscription economics into planning: recurring revenue, subscriber growth, retention and churn cohorts.
- Own scenario and what-if modeling for budgeting, pre-budgeting, and long-range planning, translating business questions into quantified options.
- Drive alignment of key KPI definitions across Finance, Data, and Accounting, contributing to a single company-wide KPI glossary.
- Deliver revenue insights and analysis for Board materials and investor reporting.
- Partner with Product, Marketing, and Monetization on pricing decisions, growth cases, and ROI assessments.
- Set modeling standards within FP&A and provide technical mentorship to junior analysts.
- Drive automation of recurring planning and reporting workflows, leveraging planning tools (Pigment) and AI-enabled solutions.
YOUR PROFILE:
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or a highly analytical role, ideally in a high-growth or subscription-based business; consulting or investment banking backgrounds welcome if combined with hands-on modeling ownership.
- Proven track of owning mindset of company-level revenue or topline model, not just contributing to one.
- Deep familiarity with subscription metrics: recurring revenue, cohorts, LTV, churn, retention, and customer acquisition economics, beyond high-level financial KPIs.
- Demonstrated experience simplifying or rebuilding complex legacy models into scalable structures.
- Hypothesis-driven mindset: you form a view, test it against data, and defend it with senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills; able to translate stakeholders input into scalable model structures with model output designed for management and Board audiences.
- Expert in Excel and Google Sheets; experience with planning tools (Pigment a strong plus) and cloud-based finance systems.
- SQL is a strong plus; Python, R, or BI tools are welcome.
- Confident with financial statements and accounting principles, able to link revenue drivers to P&L outcomes.
- Experience mentoring or coaching junior team members is a plus.
WHY TAXFIX?
- A chance to do meaningful, people-centric work with an international team of passionate professionals.
- Holistic well-being with free mental health coaching sessions.
- A monthly allowance to spend on an extensive range of services that you can use and roll over as flexibly as you like.
- Employee stock options for all employees—because everyone deserves to benefit from the success they help to create.
- 30 annual vacation days and flexible working hours.
- A generous learning budget to support your personal and professional development and guidance from our internal L&D experts.
- Work from abroad for up to six weeks every year. Just align with your team, and then enjoy your trip.
- Plenty of opportunities to socialise as a team. In addition to internal meetups, our international team hosts regular get-togethers—virtually and in person when possible.

- Have a four-legged friend in your life? We’re happy to have dogs join us in the office.

ABOUT VOODOO
Founded in 2013, Voodoo is a tech company that creates mobile games and apps with a mission to entertain the world. Gathering 800 employees, 7 billion downloads, and over 200 million active users, Voodoo is the #3 mobile publisher worldwide in terms of downloads after Google and Meta. Our portfolio includes chart-topping games like Mob Control and Block Jam, alongside popular apps such as BeReal and Wizz.
TEAM
The Engineering & Data team builds innovative tech products and platforms to support the impressive growth of Voodoo's gaming and consumer apps, keeping us at the forefront of the mobile industry. The team plays a key role in Voodoo's long-term strategy: it accelerates product diversification and provides a state-of-the-art growth engine to distribute and scale our games. We create solutions that drive growth with a pragmatic approach, ranging from simple search to complex machine learning systems.
Within Engineering & Data, the Central Data & Analytics team makes data a reliable guide for the whole company. Data engineers, analytics engineers, data analysts and a product data PM work side by side to build and grow the foundations behind every critical business and product decision at Voodoo.
This position is hybrid and requires 3 days/week in our Paris office.
ROLE
We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Engineering & Data team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for a wide array of topics such as:
- Build and operate robust data pipelines that keep pace with ever-evolving business needs, ensuring the architecture supports them cleanly.
- Contribute to the codebase, ship and maintain your changes in production, and champion strong coding and data engineering practices.
- Use AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, and whatever comes next) as a core part of your daily workflow — to move faster on pipelines, migrations, tests and documentation — while staying fully accountable for what you merge.
- Look for opportunities to put AI inside our data platform, not just around it: LLM-assisted data quality checks, semantic layers, natural-language access to datasets, agent-driven internal tooling.
- Take ownership of projects from initial discussions to release: feature estimation and scoping, architecture design, benchmarking of new technologies, product feedback.
- Work in a very agile environment with a fast decision process.
- Collaborate directly with back-end engineers, data scientists, mobile game and consumer app teams, product and marketing.
PROFILE
- Extensive experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- A proven track record of building and optimizing data pipelines for massive volumes of data (at scale).
- Strong experience with scalability, reliability, and security topics.
- Hands-on experience coding with AI assistants and agentic tools — you know how to give them the right context, break work down for them, and review their output critically rather than trusting it blindly.
- Genuine curiosity about modern tooling and practices: you follow how the data and AI ecosystem is evolving, try new tools on real problems, and form your own opinion instead of following hype. You can explain why you adopted something — or why you dropped it.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with unstructured datasets.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services.
- Result-oriented and focused on the value your work creates.
- Curious about business needs and keen to build innovative, pragmatic solutions that grow the business through data.
- Excellent communication skills (you can speak and write English).
- Experience with LLM-based systems (RAG, evals, prompt and context engineering) is a strong plus.
- Experience in gaming, advertising, or another fast-growing company is a plus.
- Familiarity with Voodoo's ecosystem: gaming, apps, advertising, analytics.
OUR STACK
- Amazon Web Services; Python; Spark; Scala; Terraform; SQL (Athena, StarRocks); DBT;; Airflow; Kubernetes; AI-assisted development tooling (Claude Code, MCP-based internal tools)
BENEFITS
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Swile Lunch voucher
- Gymlib (100% covered by Voodoo)
- Premium healthcare coverage with SideCare, 100% covered for you and your family
- Wellness activities in our Paris office
- Remote Fridays

ABOUT ONEPAY
OnePay is the consumer fintech trusted by millions of Americans to make money better.
Our financial system is broken. High fees, low rates, and too few ways to actually grow your money. We’re fixing it. And we’re moving fast.
We’re an all-in-one financial services platform that brings together banking, high-yield savings, credit cards, point-of-sale lending, investing, and crypto in one place. We also partner with employers, HCM providers, gig platforms, and others to deliver embedded financial services to millions of employees and frontline workers.
We’re backed by Walmart, the world’s largest retailer, and Ribbit Capital, one of fintech’s most respected investors, giving us rare scale, distribution, and the opportunity to build something truly category-defining.
But what really sets OnePay apart is how we move. Our customers don’t have time to wait… and neither do we. This place moves fast, and we’re looking for people who are:
- Ready to run
- Hungry and driven by urgency
- Exceptional at what they do, with low ego
- Comfortable operating in motion
THE ROLE
As an Analytics Engineer at OnePay, you'll own the analytics foundation (dbt models, testing, and Databricks BI) so the business can move fast on trusted data. We build for humans and AI, so you’ll use AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor) daily to move faster and design models, metrics, and documentation that agents and analysts can both rely on.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design and build production dbt models on Databricks that the organization uses as the source of truth for what’s happening in the business
- Support external reporting with accurate, governed data that stakeholders and partners can trust
- Own data quality: testing, CI/CD, documentation, and patterns the team follows
- Build and evolve Databricks dashboards and semantic metrics for self-service across the business
- Partner with Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, and analytics stakeholders to turn messy business problems into durable data products
- Drive AI-native workflows: Cursor/Claude (or equivalent) in daily development; model and doc design that works for LLM consumers
YOU BRING
- 3+ years in analytics engineering or equivalent: you’ve owned production models end-to-end, not just ad hoc analysis
- Expert SQL and deep dbt experience (architecture, incremental models, tests, macros, CI/CD)
- Strong Databricks BI (or equivalent semantic layer) delivery
- AI-savvy in practice: you already use AI coding tools daily, validate outputs rigorously, and design data for both humans and agents
- Proven ability to execute in ambiguity: startup pace, incomplete specs, bias toward shipping
- Clear communicator across technical and non-technical audiences
- Owner mentality: you see what’s broken, fix it, and raise the bar for others
TOOLS WE USE
We use Typescript front to back, with node and NestJS frameworks for server code and React Native for our iOS, Android, and Web clients. We run on a highly distributed cloud-native stack with Kubernetes and AWS, and scale and resiliency are at the heart of everything we build. We also embrace agentic development, so engineers have their choice of a variety of models and agent harnesses, including Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and more to fit their workflow. While you don't need experience with our exact stack, familiarity with modern software engineering practices will help you ramp up quickly.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive base salary, stock options, and health benefits from Day 1
- 401(k) plan with company match
- Remote-friendly (US), flexible time off (FTO), and opportunities for growth
- A high-growth, mission-driven, inclusive culture where your work has real impact
STANDARD INTERVIEW PROCESS
Our process varies by role. Most candidates go through:
- AI-assisted initial screen

Today, our team is distributed across North America, Europe, and Australia, and we’re continuing to grow internationally. What unites us is relentless focus, fast execution, and a deep care for software craftsmanship.
The Data team works across Linear, supporting Product, Engineering, and GTM. We own our data pipelines, warehouse, dashboards, analysis, and integrations with third-party tools. As a small team, we focus on building systems that make data accessible and useful across Linear. We’re looking for someone who wants to help shape how we architect, build, and use data as we grow.
Location & work mode
Linear is a remote-first company, with optional co-working offices in San Francisco, New York, and London. This role is open to candidates based in North America. You can work from anywhere within this region. - Build and maintain dbt models and pipelines that create trusted views of our product, customers, and business
- Design clear, maintainable data models and improve the testing, documentation, performance, and reliability of our data stack

- Operationalize data through reverse ETL and partner with GTM Engineering on the scoring, segmentation, automations, and internal tools that help our teams scale
- Balance fast, pragmatic answers with durable solutions, recognizing when a one-off request should become a reusable model or workflow
- Find ways to leverage emerging tools, LLMs, and coding agents to accelerate development, analysis, testing, and documentation while maintaining a high bar for correctness
What we're looking for
- 8+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data analytics, or data engineering, ideally at a fast-moving software company
- Exceptional SQL and strong hands-on experience with dbt and a modern cloud data warehouse
- Track record of owning data projects end-to-end, from shaping an ambiguous problem to shipping something people rely on
- Strong data modeling judgment: you think clearly about grain, reusable components, interfaces, dependencies, and maintainability without relying on a single prescribed methodology
- Analytical judgment: you know when to answer quickly, when to investigate deeply, and how to turn complex findings into a clear recommendation
- Comfortable moving between technical implementation and business context, from debugging a data model to understanding product adoption or sales efficiency
- High ownership mentality: self-directed, pragmatic, and willing to challenge a request or approach when something does not make sense
- Strong communication skills and experience partnering directly with both technical and non-technical teams
- Comfortable using LLMs and coding agents as part of your day-to-day development workflow
Our tech

You will be empowered to shape our data infrastructure, define performance metrics, and drive change across a global ecosystem of vendors and partners.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of experience in analytics, operations, supply chain, fulfillment, or logistics in a consumer business (eCommerce, hardware, CPG, or retail preferred).
- Experience managing or mentoring analysts. You should enjoy coaching and have a perspective on how to grow early-career analysts into workstream owners.
- Strong business judgment and ability to connect operational data to cost, experience, and strategic priorities.
- Proven ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels and context-switch between them without dropping quality.
- Comfort representing analytics in cross-functional settings and demonstrated success in influencing senior stakeholders on strategic direction based on data-driven insights.
- Proficiency in SQL; experience with dbt, Snowflake, or similar ELT/data warehouse platforms.
This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.
Interested in the role, but don’t meet every qualification? We encourage you to still apply!
