Location: Ukraine; Moldova; Albania; Kazakhstan; Montenegro; European Union; Serbia; Bosnia; Georgia Workplace: Remote ABOUT US Ruby Labs is a leading tech company that creates and operates innovative consumer products. We offer a diverse range of opportunities across the health, education, and entertainment industries. Our innovative teams are driving the future of consumer-led products, and we're always looking for passionate individuals to join us. Learn more about our story at: https://rubylabs.com/about-us/ ABOUT THE ROLE At Ruby Labs, we are looking for a Senior Desktop Engineer to own and drive a new cross-platform desktop product from first commit to production. This is a high-ownership role with an unusually deep systems component. The application is not a wrapped web app: it captures system and microphone audio in real time, renders an always-on-top overlay across the user's workspace, registers global shortcuts, and integrates with the operating system at a level that requires native code on both macOS and Windows. Our architecture is Electron for the application and UI layer, with native modules and helper processes in Swift and C++ where the platform requires it. You will own that boundary, deciding what belongs in TypeScript, what belongs in native code, and making the two halves behave as one reliable product. You will also own everything that happens after the build: code signing, notarization, entitlements, permission onboarding, auto-update, and crash reporting. On this product, those are not an afterthought; they are a significant share of the engineering work, and getting them wrong is what stops users from ever running the app. You will operate as the senior technical voice for desktop within your team, setting the engineering standard for the platform. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES DESKTOP APPLICATION & ENGINEERING QUALITY - Own the Electron architecture end to end — main, renderer and helper processes, IPC design, context isolation, process lifecycle — and deliver major features within agreed timelines. - Build transparent, frameless, always-on-top overlay windows that behave correctly across full-screen spaces, multiple displays and mixed-DPI setups, alongside global shortcuts, tray presence and low-latency UI under continuous background load. - Design a clean platform abstraction in TypeScript so the macOS and Windows implementations stay isolated and independently testable, and write idiomatic Swift and C++ in the native layer. - Keep the product reliable: defensive handling of unstable platform APIs, tests and code reviews, performance, memory and battery budgets, and remediation of security-review and penetration-test findings within agreed severity SLAs. NATIVE PLATFORM INTEGRATION - Build and maintain the native layer: Node addons (N-API / node-addon-api) and out-of-process helpers in Swift and C++. - Implement real-time system audio capture — Core Audio process taps and ScreenCaptureKit on macOS, WASAPI loopback on Windows — including device change handling, format negotiation and graceful recovery from driver-level failures. - Integrate with the Accessibility API (AXUIElement) on macOS and UI Automation on Windows to read application context reliably. - Own the IPC protocol and lifecycle between Electron and the native helpers, and keep the application working as Apple and Microsoft change their platforms. DISTRIBUTION, PERMISSIONS & RELEASE RELIABILITY - Own code signing and notarization on macOS — hardened runtime, entitlements, nested binary signing, provisioning profiles — and Authenticode signing, SmartScreen reputation and antivirus false positives on Windows. - Design the permission onboarding flow — microphone, system audio, screen recording, accessibility — so that grant rates stay high and failure states are recoverable. - Build and maintain the release pipeline: CI matrix builds, signing from CI with HSM-backed certificates, auto-update, staged rollout and rollback. - Own crash reporting and production telemetry for the desktop client, and act on what it tells you. QUALIFICATIONS - 6+ years of software engineering experience, including production-grade TypeScript/Node.js. - 3+ years building and shipping Electron applications to real end users, not internal tools or proofs of concept. - Hands-on native macOS development in Swift and/or Objective-C, with AppKit and at least one system-level framework such as Core Audio, AVFoundation, ScreenCaptureKit, or the Accessibility API. - Practical experience writing native Node addons (N-API / node-addon-api) or bundling and communicating with out-of-process native helpers. - Demonstrated experience with macOS code signing, notarization, entitlements, and the TCC permission model — you have debugged a rejected notarization and know how to read the log. - Working knowledge of the Windows desktop platform: Win32 APIs, Authenticode signing, and the practical realities of SmartScreen and antivirus reputation. - Strong grasp of multi-process architecture, IPC, and debugging issues that only reproduce on a user's machine. NICE TO HAVE - Real-time audio pipelines — buffering, resampling, mixing multiple sources, or streaming to speech-to-text services. - Signing from CI with hardware-backed certificates (Azure Key Vault, DigiCert KeyLocker, or similar), and antivirus whitelisting or SmartScreen reputation building for a new product. - Auto-update infrastructure such as Squirrel, electron-updater or Sparkle, including staged rollouts. - Crash reporting and symbolication for native code (Crashpad, Sentry, or similar). - Prior experience shipping a consumer desktop product at meaningful scale. LOCATION Ruby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone. Applicants from any country are welcome to apply for the position as long as they are located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET. This ensures optimal collaboration and communication during working hours. BENEFITS Discover the perks of being part of our vibrant team! We offer: - Remote Work Environment: Embrace the freedom to work from anywhere, anytime, promoting a healthy work-life balance. - Unlimited PTO: Enjoy unlimited paid time off to recharge and prioritize your well-being, without counting days. - Paid National Holidays: Celebrate and relax on national holidays with paid time off to unwind and recharge. - Company-provided MacBook: Experience seamless productivity with top-notch Apple MacBooks provided to all employees who need them. - Flexible Independent Contractor Agreement: Unlock the benefits of flexibility, autonomy, and entrepreneurial opportunities. Benefit from tax advantages, networking opportunities, reduced employment obligations, and the freedom to work from anywhere. INTERVIEW PROCESS After submitting your application, we conduct a thorough review which typically takes 3 to 5 days, but may occasionally take longer due to the volume of applications received. If we see a potential fit, we proceed with the following steps: - Recruiter Screening (40 minutes) - Technical Interview (60 minutes) - Final Interview (40 minutes) LIFE AT RUBY LABS At Ruby Labs, we move fast, aim high, and expect the same from our team. We’re not here to play small—we’re here to build, grow, and win. That means we look for people who are ambitious, driven, and ready to give their best every single day. We recognize those who go all in and deliver results, and we create space for people who want more—more responsibility, more growth, and more success. #LI-Remote

Location: Remote - AMER Workplace: Remote About You You’re a hands-on performance marketer who knows how to reach the right buyers on LinkedIn and beyond. You’re equally comfortable planning a full-funnel, account-based program and strategizing the creative that brings it to life. You bring rigor to QA, curiosity to testing, and a sharp eye for when creative needs a refresh. About Us Constructor is the next-generation platform for search and discovery in ecommerce, built to explicitly optimize for metrics like revenue, conversion rate, and profit. Our search engine is entirely invented in-house utilizing transformers and generative LLMs, and we use its core and personalization capabilities to power everything from search itself to recommendations to shopping agents. Engineering is by far our largest department, and we’ve built our proprietary engine to be the best on the market, having never lost an A/B test to a competitive technology. We’re passionate about maintaining this and work on the bleeding edge of AI to do so. Out of necessity, our engine is built for extreme scale and powers over 1 billion queries every day across 150 languages and roughly 100 countries. It is used by some of the biggest ecommerce companies in the world like Sephora, Under Armour, and Petco. We’re a passionate team who love solving problems and want to make our customers’ and coworkers’ lives better. We value empathy, openness, curiosity, continuous improvement, and are excited by metrics that matter. We believe that empowering everyone in a company to do what they do best can lead to great things. Constructor is a U.S. based company that has been in the market since 2019. It was founded by Eli Finkelshteyn and Dan McCormick who still lead the company today. About the Position We’re looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist to lead our LinkedIn programs and run paid media across LinkedIn, Meta, content syndication, CTV, and podcasts/audio. Our buyers are ecommerce and retail leaders, and paid media is how many of them first hear from us. In this role, you’ll turn Sales, Demand Gen, and ABM goals into campaigns that reach the right people at the right stage and build pipeline. You’ll own the channel end-to-end: planning, creative briefing, building, QAing, targeting, pacing, testing, reporting, and optimizing. This is a hands-on, in-platform role. You’ll work alongside our Paid Search Specialist and partner closely with our Sales, Customer Marketing, Demand Gen, Creative, Product Marketing, and EMEA teams. What makes this role different: - You’ll own LinkedIn as a channel, not a slice of it. Planning, building, testing, and reporting all sit with you. - You’ll plan across the full funnel and across 1:many, 1:few, and 1:1 programs, covering both broad reach and named accounts. - You’ll own the creative pipeline for your channels, from requests and approvals through trafficking and rotation. - You’ll lead weekly cross-channel optimization syncs, which gives you a voice in how the whole paid program performs. What You’ll Do Strategic Planning - Plan, launch, and optimize campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta, content syndication, CTV, and podcasts/audio. - Build tactical strategies across TOFU, MOFU, and BOFU, and across 1:many, 1:few, and 1:1 programs. - Translate Sales and Demand Gen goals into plans by stage, persona, and segment. - Shape copy and creative strategy with Creative, Customer Marketing, and Product Marketing, so each audience gets the right message. Execution and Quality Assurance - Build paid social campaigns end-to-end, including creative strategy, bidding, ad copy, and audiences. - Run rigorous QA across copy, assets, campaign structure, audiences, and UTMs before anything goes live. - Partner with our EMEA team to localize global campaigns for their markets. - Track tasks, requests, and SLAs in Asana so work stays visible and on schedule. Audience Targeting and Management - Own audience list hygiene and targeting across platforms. - Build audiences from first- and third-party data. - Manage pixels and primary vs. secondary conversion architecture, so campaigns optimize toward the actions that matter most. Budget Pacing and Management - Manage budgets against lead volume, lead quality, conversion, pipeline, and ROI. - Own pacing and anomaly detection, and keep documented budget pacing up to date. Testing & Optimization - Run structured tests on audiences, creative, landing pages, copy, and bidding. - Run ongoing search query analysis and keyword optimization. - Lead weekly cross‑channel optimization syncs. Reporting - Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting that pairs results with clear recommendations. - Lead campaign hindsights that capture what drove results, what we learned, and what to do next. - Stay current on platform changes, privacy, and B2B trends. What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications - 2-3 years of hands-on paid media experience, ideally within a media agency or performance‑focused environment - Hands-on experience building and optimizing social campaigns within LinkedIn and Meta, ideally with a focus in lead generation - Working knowledge of conversion tracking, including pixels, UTMs, and primary vs. secondary conversions - Experience managing budgets and pacing against goals, preferably optimizing towards leads, pipeline, cost efficiency, and ROI - Experience running structured tests and turning results into clear recommendations Preferred Qualifications - Experience in a B2B or B2B SaaS environment - Experience with ad placements across YouTube, Display, DOOH, or LLMs - Experience localizing campaigns for EMEA markets - Experience building and maintaining audiences from first- and third-party data - Experience with Hubspot, 6sense, Dreamdata, Asana, and/or Salesforce Skills - Strong attention to detail, especially in QA - Outstanding analytical skills and strong experience in performance optimization - Clear writer who can create ad copy that works for different audiences and markets - Self-starter who can flex between strategic thinking and tactical execution - Strong project management, able to run several campaigns in parallel Benefits 🏝️ Unlimited vacation time – we strongly encourage all of our employees take at least 3 weeks per year 💰 A competitive compensation package including stock options 🌎 Fully remote team – choose where you live 🛋️ Work from home stipend! Location: Remote (United States | Canada) Workplace: Remote 1Password is growing. We’ve surpassed $500M in ARR and we’re continuing to accelerate, earning a spot on the Forbes Cloud 100 for four years in a row and teaming up with iconic partners like Oracle Red Bull Racing. About 1Password At 1Password, we’re building the foundation for a safe, productive digital future. Our mission is to unleash employee productivity without compromising security by ensuring every identity is authentic, every application sign-in is secure, and every device is trusted. We innovated the market-leading enterprise password manager and pioneered Unified Access Management, a new cybersecurity category built for the way people and AI agents work today. As one of the most loved brands in cybersecurity, we take a human-centric approach in everything from product strategy to user experience. Over 180,000 businesses, from Fortune 100 leaders to the world’s most innovative AI companies, trust 1Password to help their teams securely adopt the SaaS and AI tools they need to do their best work. If you're excited about the opportunity to contribute to the digital safety of millions, to work alongside a team of curious, driven individuals, and to solve hard problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, then we want to hear from you. Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future. The Developer Relations team builds developer tooling and creates awareness through events, social channels, and community activity. In this hands-on role, you’ll turn that attention into active users by owning the journey from first touch through signup, installation, first success, and continued engagement, while also owning the Developer Hub as the main conversion surface. By helping more developers discover and adopt 1Password’s developer tooling, you’ll contribute to the company’s mission and growth. How we’re using AI today Our Engineering, Product, and Design teams are thoughtfully integrating AI across the full software and product development lifecycle to move faster without sacrificing quality or security. In practice, that looks like engineers using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate reviews and catch bugs earlier, product managers synthesizing user research at scale, and designers rapidly prototyping and iterating with AI-generated mockups. We approach AI the same way we approach security: with clear principles, human accountability at every consequential decision point, and rigorous evaluation before anything ships to customers. This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US. What we're looking for: • 4+ years of experience in developer marketing, lifecycle or customer relationship management (CRM) marketing, or growth marketing for a technical or developer-facing product. • Proven experience building lifecycle programs that improved activation and retention, with measurable results. • Hands-on experience with marketing automation and lifecycle tools such as Customer.io http://Customer.io, HubSpot, Braze, or Iterable, as well as product analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or PostHog. • Experience owning or substantially improving website conversion performance, including A/B testing. • Strong writing skills, with an instinct for what developers find useful and credible. • Comfort working with engineers and developer advocates and with technical concepts such as application programming interfaces (APIs), command-line interfaces (CLIs), software development kits (SDKs), and documentation. You do not need to be a developer, but you should be able to try the product yourself. • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in a remote, async-friendly team. Preferred: Experience with product-led growth, free-to-paid conversion, open source adoption, event and community programs, Structured Query Language (SQL), Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), scripting, search engine optimization (SEO), docs-led growth, or developer communities such as GitHub, Discord, Reddit, Hacker News, X, or LinkedIn. What you can expect: • Build capture-to-activation flows for leads from conferences, meetups, hackathons, webinars, and social channels, including QR codes, event-specific landing pages, follow-up sequences, and starter kits. • Work with Developer Relations teammates so every event, talk, and social moment has a clear call to action, tracking, and post-event nurture plan. • Turn social engagement, including launches, threads, demos, and community moments, into measurable traffic and signups through the right landing pages and offers. • Design and run lifecycle programs across onboarding, activation, adoption, re-engagement, and expansion using email, in-product messaging, and community channels. • Define activation for the product, build programs around milestones such as a first application programming interface (API) call, successful build, or integration, and segment messaging by behavior, role, language, technology stack, and source. • Own the Developer Hub’s strategy, messaging, and conversion across its homepage, product pages, community pages, and events pages. Run continuous testing across copy, calls to action, page structure, and signup flows, and partner with Design, Engineering, and Documentation to improve time-to-first-value. • Write or direct tutorials, quickstarts, sample applications, changelogs, and email content; build reporting from first touch through activation and retention; and share findings that help shape the roadmap and messaging. Early success will include auditing the funnel, launching event follow-up and onboarding programs, and improving signup-to-activation, event-to-user, and Developer Hub conversion. USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $133,000 USD and $186,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs. Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $125,000 CAD and $175,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs. At 1Password, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set. This posting is for an existing vacancy. Our culture At 1Password, we prioritize collaboration, clear and transparent communication, receptiveness to feedback, and alignment with our core values: keep it simple, lead with honesty, and put people first. You’ll be part of a team that challenges the status quo, and is excited to experiment and iterate in search of the best solution. That said, 1Password is not for everyone https://blog.1password.com/inside-the-culture-powering-1passwords-next-chapter/. Our work is demanding, we strive for excellence, and the pace is fast. We need people who are keen to take on challenging problems, who seek feedback to grow, and who are driven to make an impact. If you're looking for a place where you can settle into a comfortable routine, this might not be the right fit for you. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results. How we work with AI We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password. This approach extends to our hiring process—candidates are welcome to use AI tools responsibly and thoughtfully during the application process. To us, this means we do ask that you join live interviews without using AI tools so we can get to know how you communicate, solve problems, and collaborate with others. Our approach to remote work We believe in the power of remote work, but recognize that in-person connection is important to help us achieve our mission. While we are a remote-first company, travel for in-person engagement is a part of almost all roles, and we require our employees to be ready and willing to take part. Frequency will depend on role and responsibilities, and may include, but is not limited to: annual department-wide offsites, team meetings, and customer/industry events. What we offer We believe in working hard, and rewarding that hard work through our benefits. While not an exhaustive list, here is a glance at what we currently offer: Health and wellbeing 👶 Maternity and parental leave top-up programs 🩺 Competitive health benefits 🏝 Generous PTO policy Growth and future 📈 RSU program for most employees 💸 Retirement matching program 🔑 Free 1Password account Community 🤝 Paid volunteer days 🏆 Peer-to-peer recognition through Bonusly 🌎 Remote-first work environment *Some roles in our GTM team are currently being hired for in-person hybrid work in Toronto and Austin. These roles will specify on the posting. You belong here. 1Password is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to fostering an inclusive, diverse and equitable workplace that is built on trust, support and respect. We welcome all individuals and do not discriminate on the basis of gender identity and expression, race, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, colour, religion, creed, gender, national origin, age, marital status, pregnancy, sex, citizenship, education, languages spoken or veteran status. Be yourself, find your people and share the things you love. Accommodation is available upon request at any point during our recruitment process. If you require an accommodation, please speak to your talent acquisition partner or email us at nextbit@agilebits.com and we’ll work to meet your needs. Remote work is a part of our DNA. Given that our company was founded remotely in 2005, we can safely say we're experts at building remote culture. That said, remote work at 1Password does mean working from your home country. If you've got questions or concerns about this, your talent partner would be happy to address them with you. Successful applicants will be required to complete a background check that may consist of prior employment verification, reference checks, education confirmation, criminal background, publicly available social media, credit history, or other information, as permitted by local law. 1Password uses artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies, including natural language processing and predictive analytics, to assist in the initial screening of employment applications and improve our recruitment process.
