ABOUT THE ROLE
Millions of small businesses and their advisors use Xero reports and insights to decide what to do next. AI is changing how people understand their finances faster than any shift since the cloud, and Reporting & Insights is where Xero meets that change. Over the next few years we’re evolving reporting and insights for the agentic era, where customers ask an AI about their numbers as often as they open a Balance Sheet. As the senior technical leader for Reporting & Insights, you’ll set the multi-year technical direction, from the reports businesses file to the insights that tell them what to do next. You’ll also help hire the first Reporting & Insights engineers in Vancouver and decide how they work.
THE TECHNICAL CHALLENGES
Set a 3-year architecture across Reporting & Insights. Reporting and Xero Analytics run on a mix of modern services and systems that have grown with Xero over many years. You’ll define one target state across both, decide how they build on Xero’s data platform, and secure the investment to get there. You’ll design for high throughput, low latency and resilience, so reporting and insights scale with Xero’s largest and most complex customers.
Evolve the platform without breaking trust. Accountants file tax returns from these numbers, so correctness comes first. You’ll lead the evolution of the data foundations behind about 150 reports, sequenced across teams and organisational boundaries. Customers keep the numbers they trust, on foundations built for what comes next.
Make reporting and insights AI-native. AI changes what reporting and insights can be: answers to plain-language questions, insights that reach customers where they work, and analysis that once took an accountant hours. Every answer still has to reconcile to the ledger. You’ll define the foundations: how agents query financial data safely, how answers stay grounded and explainable, and how we prove correctness at scale. We want teams across Xero to build on what you create.
IMPACT
In your first six months you’ll own the Reporting & Insights architecture and set a direction for the data platform and the evolution of both products that engineering, Product and leadership back.
At twelve months you will have:
- Set a multi-year technical strategy for Reporting & Insights
- Delivered new foundations for the first major report families, setting Reporting & Insights up for its next phase of growth
- Opened Reporting & Insights to bigger businesses, with performance that scales to our largest customers
- Put shared foundations for AI-native reporting and insights into production
- Grown the Lead and Senior Engineers around you and raised the technical bar across the group
Beyond year one, you’ll shape where Reporting & Insights goes next, and help steer Xero’s wider data and AI direction alongside the leadership team.
OWNERSHIP
You’re the senior technical voice for Reporting & Insights. You own the multi-year technical strategy and target architecture, and you make the calls that cross team and domain boundaries. You shape the roadmap with the GM and Product, decide where we invest in foundational capabilities, and align teams across regions behind one direction. You stay hands-on where it counts: reference implementations, foundational frameworks and the hardest architecture problems
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll report to the GM of Engineering. You’ll partner with the engineering managers and teams across Reporting & Insights, who know these products and their data in depth. You’ll shape the product and AI roadmap with the Reporting & Insights Product leads. You’ll also work with Principal Engineers and platform teams across Xero, including the accounting core and data platform teams that own systems we depend on.
WHAT YOU BRING
Must-have:
- You’ve set technical strategy for a domain or portfolio over a 2 to 3 year horizon, and aligned multiple teams behind it.
- You’ve led the evolution of a large, high-traffic, correctness-critical system across organisational boundaries.
- You have depth in high-throughput, low-latency, resilient distributed systems and data-heavy architecture, and you still contribute hands-on where it matters.
- You connect external shifts, AI above all, to product and architecture strategy, and you know where LLMs and agents belong in a system.
- You grow leaders. You’ve mentored Lead and Senior Engineers into bigger roles, and your writing turns complex direction into decisions people act on.
Nice to have:
- Financial, reporting or analytics domain experience
- LLM or agent-based features in production
- .NET and AWS
- A presence in the wider tech community through talks, writing or open source
HOW WE WORK
We’re bold in our vision and pragmatic in execution, delivering useful improvements along the way rather than waiting for a large rewrite. We invest in AI to learn faster and focus effort on higher-value problems, while engineers stay accountable for what they ship. We use shared frameworks to avoid reinvention, leaving teams room to innovate. Engineers own their work, including quality, reliability, and on-call. Leaders set context and priorities, and engineers help shape the solutions.
WHERE WE WORK
We offer a hybrid model that blends the flexibility of working from home with the collaboration of the office, including designated boost days in our modern office spaces. This role is open to hybrid candidates in Vancouver, British Columbia, or San Mateo, California. We also welcome applications from candidates across Canada interested in relocating to Vancouver, and from remote candidates in Seattle, Washington.
OUR HIRING PROCESS

5. LEADership (45–60 minutes): real examples of how you lead, influence and deliver in ambiguous, fast-changing environments, assessed against Xero's leadership principles
COMPENSATION & TOTAL REWARDS
At Xero, we value the impact and skills you bring to the team. We don’t just hire for a role; we invest in people. We believe in a Total Package philosophy - which means your value isn't just a single number on a paycheque. While base salary is a core component, we look at your compensation through a holistic lens that includes equity, performance incentives, and world-class benefits.
The expected base salary range for this role in:
- Washington, WA & San Mateo, CA: $287,000 - $320,000 USD

Payments is one of Xero’s biggest areas of investment and growth. As a Lead Engineer on Payments Platform, you’ll join early-stage initiatives and make foundational architectural decisions for capabilities that power money movement across Xero and enable new product lines globally. Your work can span shared platform capabilities and customer-facing payment products, including global bill payments.
You’ll stay hands-on in production code and proofs of concept while setting the technical direction other engineers and teams build on. It’s an opportunity to shape both the technology and the engineering practices of a growing team, with a direct connection to the problems small businesses face every day

Through mentorship, technical reviews and practical improvements, you’ve helped elevate the team’s engineering capability.
- First 12 months: Your architectural decisions are operating in production and helping new payment products launch faster. You’ve helped establish engineering standards and clear ownership for the Vancouver Payments team, and your work is reaching small businesses through faster, safer ways to pay and get paid.
OWNERSHIP
You’ll own the technical direction for your area of the payments platform, from design and proof of concept through production and on-call. You’ll lead architecture, API design and technology decisions for that area, with end-to-end accountability for reliability, security and operational excellence.
You’ll work closely with engineering and cross-functional partners to make trade-offs explicit and turn direction into delivery. Your impact will come from both your own technical contributions and the capability you build in others.
Because both the initiative and the Vancouver team are early in their development, you’ll also help shape engineering practices, quality standards and AI-assisted ways of working that make the team more effective over time.

Join the team as Twilio’s next Fraud Specialist, Supplier Operations & Governance (P4).
About the job
We are actively recruiting for this role to fill an existing vacancy. This position will be responsible for working constructively with our customers and partners to resolve billing issues and fraudulent misuse of services.
We are seeking a sharp, highly data-oriented, and tenacious Fraud Specialist to join our team. Unlike a traditional billing or collections role focused on routine outreach or simple invoice review, this position is a hybrid of financial investigation, root cause analysis, and strategic dispute negotiation. In this role, you will look for billing discrepancies, investigate Artificially Inflated Traffic (AIT) or IRSF (International Revenue Share Fraud), dig deep into messaging and call data, project manage high-value customer and vendor disputes, and build data-backed cases to resolve discrepancies. You will build dashboards to communicate key metrics and drive action. If you love solving complex data puzzles, negotiating with external parties, and finding win-win outcomes, this is the role for you.
You will be part of a company that is the category leader in Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS), an organization working with the largest customers and partners, and a team of operators and former consultants that have delivered exceptional impact. If you have an extreme owner / founder mindset and a desire to solve big challenges, you’ll find yourself at home.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
Advise account managers, accounting, and management on best practices to handle billing disputes
Negotiate with customers and carriers with an understanding of resolution levers available as per contractual terms and industry norms
Identify, analyze, and handle fraudulent misuse (such as Artificially Inflated Traffic) and billing errors (such as rate differences) with both vendors and customers
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of customer and vendor disputes from intake of disputes to initiating disputes, tracking progress, and ensuring timely, documented resolution
Uncover and resolve discrepancies, overcharges, and unpaid balances with carriers and customers due to quantities, rates, currency, and other root causes
Dig into call and messaging data to identify why bills don’t match or find evidence of fraud
Build dashboards that communicate key metrics related to the lifecycle of disputes
Read contracts and interpret what should be the invoice versus what it is
Act as the primary point of contact to negotiate dispute resolutions, settlements, and payment terms in accordance with company practices
Partner closely with data analytics, engineering, and accounting to reconcile accounts

Experience in project management.

Desired:

Understanding of industry standards with respect to AIT and fraud handling such as frameworks from i3forum, GSMA, MEF or ITW Global Leaders’ Forum.

Join Twilio as a Program Manager, Carrier Operations & Governance — a tech-forward business analyst and program manager within a brand-new function built from the ground up to reshape how Twilio manages, governs, and optimizes its global telecom carrier and wholesale supplier ecosystem.
About the job
This isn't a role that inherits an existing playbook — it's a role that writes one. Twilio is building a highly visible, cross-functional operations & governance team dedicated to optimizing its telecom carrier and wholesale supplier ecosystem. Reporting into leadership that maintains regular cadences with Twilio's CEO, CFO, CRO, and Audit Committee, you will serve as the primary owner of critical end-to-end improvements spanning multiple areas of the business, and build internal operating models that unlock new levels of operational maturity and rigor.
In this role, you will bring together, understand, and implement the policies, processes, systems, tools, and controls necessary to build a world-class operating environment. You will own the creation and stand-up of the team operating model, cadences, and runbooks while taking direct ownership of the team's internal Run-the-Business (RTB) engine.
If you thrive in high-visibility environments, love designing systems from first principles, and want to own program execution end-to-end, this opportunity is built for you.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead program execution across four core pillars:
Cross-Functional Governance & Leadership
Drive Visible Governance Programs:
Serve as the core Program Manager for a highly visible, cross-functional governance initiative spanning multiple areas of the business - including building and operationalizing programs from diagnosis, design, implementation, and change management
Maintain Executive Visibility:
Package and present operational narratives, risks, and performance metrics to cross-functional leadership, feeding into C-suite and Audit Committee reviews.
Implement Core Infrastructure:
Lead end-to-end process improvements across carrier operations — understanding, synthesizing, and deploying cohesive policies, workflows, systems/tools, and data-driven controls.
Operating Model, Enablement & Team Infrastructure
Build Team Foundations:
Design and stand up the new Carrier Operations & Governance operating model, operational cadences, and internal team structures.
Author Runbooks & Standards:
Author, maintain, and roll out standard operational runbooks, supply policies, and Rules of Engagement (ROEs) for internal stakeholders and carrier partners.
Design Enablement & Change Management:
Design and create comprehensive enablement programs, training materials, and frameworks to accelerate organizational transformation — actively shifting teams from relationship- and assumption-driven decision-making to a rigorously governed, data-informed operating model.
Insights & Reporting
Business Intelligence:
Leverage quantitative research, machine learning models, performance monitoring, and scalable data foundations that enable fast, economically sound insights.
Data & Reporting Quality:
Execute analytical requests from IRSG, Legal, Finance, and GTM stakeholders, delivering accurate data pulls, ad-hoc analyses, and structured summaries. Perform data quality checks and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency across reporting pipelines.
Design Enablement & Change Management:
Design and create comprehensive enablement programs, training materials, and frameworks to accelerate organizational transformation — actively shifting teams from relationship- and assumption-driven decision-making to a rigorously governed, data-informed operating model.
Drive Team RTB Engine:
Own and manage the day-to-day Run-the-Business (RTB) cadence at the team level, ensuring operational momentum and accountability.
Facilitate Operational Rhythms:
Facilitate regular operational forums, including team OKR tracking, and deal approval workflows.

About Somnia:
SOMNIA is the Agentic Chain - a hyper-performance L1 operating at an order of magnitude faster than existing networks. We empower builders and traders to create real-time, autonomous, and fully decentralized products, powered by agents, that were previously impossible and cannot be built anywhere else. It’s where the future of Web3 protocols will be built, so we’re facilitating a new wave of on-chain applications from DEX to Prediction Protocols and much, much more.
Somnia is being developed by Somnia Foundation backed by Improbable https://www.improbable.io/, a British tech Unicorn +++ that has been at the forefront of building virtual worlds for over a decade. Somnia received initial funding from MSquared https://www.msquared.io/, which raised $150 million https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20220407005101/en/Improbable-Raises-US150m-to-Establish-M%C2%B2-MSquared-a-Metaverse-Network-and-Ecosystem-Powered-by-Its-Morpheus-Technology from a16z crypto, SoftBank, Mirana Ventures, CMT Digital, and SIG.
About the Role:
DreamDEX makes a hard claim: CEX execution without DEX custody. A fully on-chain CLOB with sub-10ms, zero trading fees, self-custody and transparent rules, competing head-on with Hyperliquid, Lighter and the large centralised exchanges.
An exchange wins or dies on liquidity, and early liquidity comes from relationships. Market makers must sign and quote tight. Builders must route flow to us. Institutions must trust a new venue with size. You will own those relationships.
You'll run business development for dreamDEX and carry the wider Somnia story (the L1, Somnia Agents, Prophecy) into institutional conversations. You'll work directly with the GTM leads and core team, with a mandate to source, structure and close the deals that put depth on the book and volume through it. We measure every deal by the liquidity, volume and TVL it produces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the market maker pipeline: source, pitch, negotiate and onboard MMs, from DeFi-native firms early on to an anchor tier 1 relationship, structuring deals across CLOB rewards, fee arrangements and liquidity commitments
- Get DreamDEX integrated with the major spot and cross-chain aggregators, then manage those relationships so we keep winning flow on price
- Build and activate the institutional pipeline: trading firms, funds, family offices, OTC desks, prime brokers and custodians, with white-glove onboarding for qualified institutions
- Build an active Builder pipeline: Trading terminals, AI strategies and native apps to drive users and volume to the Dex.
- Close liquidity deals that grow TVL: institutional LPs, protocol and DAO treasuries, and vault operators
- Land distribution partnerships that feed the exchange: wallets, perp aggregators and bridges
- Support broader Somnia BD where your network applies: ecosystem projects, stablecoin partners and treasury deals on the L1
- Feed market intelligence back to product: you hear first what MMs and institutions need (RFQ flow, reporting, credit arrangements, API features) and help shape the roadmap
- Represent DreamDEX and Somnia at conferences and in the rooms where these deals get done
Requirements:
Must Have
- Business development experience at a crypto exchange (CEX, perp DEX or spot DEX) covering market makers, institutional clients or listings
- A real network across institutions in crypto and/or TradFi: trading firms, market makers, funds, prime brokers and OTC desks. You open doors on day one rather than building a list from scratch
- Closed deals with measurable impact on volume, liquidity or TVL, and the ability to walk us through the numbers
- A working understanding of exchange mechanics: order books, spreads and depth, perps and margin, liquidations, MM economics and incentive design
- Ability to run a full deal cycle alone, from sourcing through structuring and negotiation to post-signature relationship management
- Comfort operating early in a venue's life, when you are selling the roadmap as much as the product
Nice to Have
- TradFi background in prime brokerage, electronic trading or institutional sales
- Existing relationships with DEX aggregators, wallets, custodians or vault operators
- Experience taking a new venue through cold start; you have solved the empty order book problem before
- Experience structuring token or incentive-based deals
- Working knowledge of DeFi: CLOB DEXs, vaults, stablecoins and yield products
- Experience selling to DAOs and protocol treasuries
Why Join Somnia?
Design The Future: Join Somnia to work remotely with a global team, earn competitive compensation with token incentives, and help build the future of Web3 at a company where your impact truly matters.
First of its Kind: Make Somnia famous as the only hyperspeed L1 with native AI inference.
High Stakes: Influence a brand targeting a $1M+ launch budget in the 2026 peak-fragility market.
Incentives: Competitive salary + tokens.

WHO ARE WE?
Cohere is the leading security-first enterprise AI company. We build cutting-edge foundation AI models and end-to-end products that are designed to solve real-world business problems.
We’re training and deploying frontier models for enterprises who are building AI systems. We believe that our work is instrumental to the widespread adoption of AI and we are looking for folks that want to be part of that.
We obsess over what we build. Each one of us is responsible for contributing to increasing the capabilities of our models and the value they drive for our customers. Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more, who are all passionate about their craft.
We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us!
WHY THE COHERE TPM ROLE?
As our Generative Machine Learning organization has continued growing, we are looking for more Technical Program Managers to join the team!
At Cohere, TPMs are pivotal to our success, being seen as operational experts specializing in cross-functional efforts. Great TPMs at Cohere are well-rounded, executing with precision at the tactical level, while partnering with senior leaders and shaping the big picture at a strategic level, and the opportunities are endless in growing the scale and impact of their work. Cohere’s TPMs would often be described as organized, execution-oriented, pragmatic leaders who are adaptable to the needs of the company and the programs they lead.
As a reward for the depth and breadth of expertize that you bring to the table, you will get to work alongside some of the most talented AI researchers and industry experts in the world on building cutting edge AI technology. No day will be the same as the one before, and the dynamic high growth environment will be absolutely perfect for anyone excited about solving novel problems, bringing structure to oftentimes chaotic and fast-paced environments, and ambitious about scaling their own impact and growth alongside the company!
Please note: While we are remote-first and accept candidates from all over the world, we are highly prioritizing hiring for people who are within 1-2 hours of British Standard Time (BST).
AS A MACHINE LEARNING TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER, YOU WILL:
- Establish, improve, and scale foundational processes that allow the Generative Modeling teams to execute better, faster, and more predictably
- Scale the operational capacity and effectiveness of the Modeling TPM team in collaboration with the Modeling TPM lead to ensure the function can remain lean and effective during a period of the program portfolio complexity and size continuing to rapidly increase
- Flexibly adapt to the needs of the company, programs, and the team from tackling long-horizon programs that can span quarters or even years to jumping onto often highly ambiguous short-term challenges that can have company-wide impact
- Partner directly with leaders within and outside of the Modeling organization on efforts to design, train and improve our core generative models
- Lead cross-functional, oftentimes company-wide programs and strategic initiatives, collaborating and coordinating with cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, Legal, Platform, Infra, Policy, and Finance
- Operate as an organizational expert in improving engineering execution rigor and operations on the ground, while contributing to the strategic layer in areas such as long-term strategic planning with senior modeling leadership
- Map out dependencies and risks, and ensure that cross-functional execution across the program runs smoothly, communicating status with non-technical and technical stakeholders and senior management
- Both own and enable a useful communication flow of priorities, ideas, and knowledge throughout and beyond the Modeling organization in line with your programs
- Respond quickly to program-level changes, clarifying new scope, and managing resource needs in response to evolving priorities
YOU MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE:
- 5-10 years as a Technical Program Manager AND 5+ years of experience working directly on AI/ML. Strong preference for candidates that have worked directly in building foundation models.
- In-depth knowledge of machine learning, particularly when it comes to Natural Language Processing & Large Language Models (LLMs). Bonus points for experience with Multimodal AI.
- Experience with working in a chaotic, fast paced, low structure environment. We need someone who is pragmatic, can roll up their sleeves when needed, and can function at the tactical and strategic level to do whatever it takes to make Cohere’s models succeed
- Personal hands-on understanding of the unique challenges of managing projects and programs in the AI/ML development space as opposed to traditional software program management
- Managed projects & programs requiring a strong general business acumen, such as coordinating with Finance on reporting needs or Policy on regulatory compliance matters — the broader your experience beyond ML technical program management, the better!
- (optional, but preferred) Have technical experience in a hands-on capacity. We don’t necessarily need someone with hands on experience training models, but you need to feel comfortable sitting in the same rooms with some of the best researchers in the world, working on highly complex, cutting edge ML problems
If some of the above - other than the ML TPM experience - doesn’t line up perfectly with your experience, we still encourage you to apply! If you consider yourself a thoughtful worker, a lifelong learner, and a kind and playful team member, Cohere is the place for you.
We welcome applicants of all kinds and are committed to providing both an equal opportunity process and work environment. We value and celebrate diversity and strive to create an inclusive work environment for all.

We are hiring a
Senior Software Engineer
for our Processing team to lead Lithic’s next phase of growth.
The Processing team builds and maintains the real-time interfaces between Lithic and external payment networks. Every card authorization, clearing message, and settlement file flows through systems this team owns. The team manages both online and batch transaction flows across Mastercard, Visa, and Amex, along with transaction enrichment, disputes processing, and network compliance. The systems we maintain have strict latency and uptime requirements, because they sit on the critical path for every card transaction. The team also manages the physical network peering with card network partners, so infrastructure and networking expertise are important. The team primarily uses Java, Python, and Kotlin on AWS.
What you'll do:
Ensure high reliability, low latency, and correctness for Lithic's transaction processing interfaces and related services
Develop new capabilities across authorization, clearing/settlement, disputes, and network integration surfaces
Ensure that the team is delivering reliable, secure, and scalable code with minimal tech debt
Evolve the infrastructure supporting physical network peering with card network partners, ensuring connectivity, failover, and capacity meet reliability requirements
Own initiatives from planning to launch, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned along the way
Participate in the team on-call rotation
Lead efforts to improve systems and processes both within the team and across engineering
Help drive strategic planning in collaboration with the engineering manager and product manager
What you'll bring:
8+ years experience shipping code in fast paced production environments
Advanced distributed system instincts and design skills
Experience driving large cross-functional projects across engineering, product, and operations teams
A proven commitment to empathy and inclusion
Excellent communication skills
Growth mindset and continuous desire to learn and improve is a must
An interest in fintech and the payments space is preferred
The annual US salary range for this role is $160,000 - $200,000 plus equity. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Lithic and will be narrowed during the interview process based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
This is a remote position. However, candidates must be located in the United States, Canada (Ontario or British Columbia), Netherlands, Poland, or Czech Republic. We do not offer visa sponsorship or assistance.
