About GiveDirectly
What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need?
Since 2011, GiveDirectly has proven that idea at scale. We’ve delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty and crisis across 15 countries, and rigorous research shows the results: healthier kids, stronger businesses, sturdier homes, and more resilient families and local economies. Cash is now widely recognized as one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid.
Our ambition goes beyond our own programs. We want cash to become the benchmark for aid, much as the index fund became the benchmark for investing, so that every aid dollar is held to one question:
is this doing more good than giving the money directly to people living in poverty?
We’re growing fast, and this is a rare and important moment to join.
We expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. At the same time we are building a new technology stack and operating model designed for a roughly 10x change in scale, and we are actively pursuing partnerships with major funders to move even more money in bigger ways, to people who need it. We are known for our extensive integration of technology into field processes; our quantitative approach to performance measurement; and our commitment to rigorous, independent, experimental evaluation of our impact, with multiple Randomized Control Trials completed and others in progress.
How we work
Our team spans 20+ countries and 69 languages. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We expect high ownership and give people real responsibility early. Our values are central to how we hire, work, and grow, and they are deliberately opinionated:
Recipients first.
Recipients’ preferences come before those of donors or ourselves.
Team next.
We optimize for organizational success, not individual success.
Be proactively candid.
We say what we believe and share information openly.
Create positive energy.
We aim to be a source of energy for colleagues, not a drain.
Think rigorously; act quickly.
We reason from first principles, then act rather than debate.
Know yourself and grow.
We own our imperfections and seek feedback to grow.
Accept reality. Propose solutions.
We focus on what can change and bring solutions, not just problems.
Be productively ambitious.
We take risks for step-change impact, not incremental progress.
If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit.

A track record of strengthening operational functions – taking systems from ad hoc toward structured, compliant, and scalable.
Strong financial and budget management skills, with experience managing operational budgets and driving cost-effectiveness.
Experience managing and developing teams, including recruiting and mentoring staff.
Experience overseeing or working closely with HR functions (recruitment, performance management, learning and development, culture building).
Comfort in a fast-paced and changing environment that involves a degree of ambiguity and requires figuring things out with limited precedent.
Highly analytical with a strong attention to detail and a bias toward data-driven decision-making.
Familiarity with INGO standards, donor compliance frameworks, internal controls, and audit processes.
Strong cross-cultural communication skills and experience working effectively in matrixed organisations.
Experience and aptitude leveraging new technologies and AI to advance operational effectiveness. Comfort with an agile and iterative approach.

Own the daily operation of the Club: opening and closing procedures, access control, space readiness, and general upkeep
Oversee maintenance, cleaning, technical systems (HVAC, AV, IT infrastructure, security), and preventative servicing
Manage room and space bookings, capacity planning, and the operational calendar
Act as the first point of contact for anything related to the physical space

Control all supplies and inventory: office and hospitality consumables, F&B, equipment, and event materials
Source, onboard, and manage vendors and service providers; negotiate terms and monitor performance
Handle purchase requests, contracts, invoices, and reconciliation in line with internal finance procedures
Track and report operational spend against the approved Club budget

Obtain and maintain all required permits, licences, inspections, and certificates for the venue and its activities
Ensure continuous compliance with Cypriot local regulations, including health and safety, fire safety, accessibility, and any licensing relevant to events and hospitality

Handle end-to-end event logistics: setup and teardown, AV and technical needs, catering, staffing, guest registration, and access
Coordinate with internal marketing, community, and business development teams, and with external organisers and sponsors

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ramp needs a senior immigration and mobility expert to build the policies, operating model, and trusted guidance that support global growth. This person will be Ramp's internal subject-matter expert and work closely alongside external counsel to translate current immigration law, policy, and business needs into clear, consistent decisions.
They will set program direction, hold vendors accountable, guide difficult cases, and give employees and cross-functional partners the rationale behind high-stakes decisions.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
IMMIGRATION PROGRAM AND POLICY LEADERSHIP
- Own and continuously refine Ramp's immigration, sponsorship, business-travel, and relocation policies, including eligibility, cost coverage, exceptions, and service standards.
- Stay current on relevant immigration laws, policy changes, and market practices; assess their impact on Ramp and recommend program updates.

VENDOR AND CROSS-FUNCTIONAL LEADERSHIP
- Own the strategy and operating cadence with immigration counsel and relocation vendors, including selection, SLAs, escalation paths, QBRs, and performance improvement.
- Serve as Ramp's practical voice of reason for cross-functional stakeholders (HR, legal, recruiters, etc.), balancing employee experience, business urgency, consistency, cost, and compliance risk.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, Payroll, Tax, Recruiting, Compensation, People Partners, IT, and Workplace on sponsorship decisions, relocations, and new-country employment.
- Build repeatable playbooks for country entry, relocations, and high-impact hiring so stakeholders know the decision maker, dependencies, timeline, and escalation route.
PROGRAM SCALE AND TEAM LEADERSHIP
- Set the function's roadmap, risk reporting, core metrics, and communication standards.
- Personally lead the most sensitive or complex cases and coach the Associate on judgment, prioritization, employee communication, and escalation.
- Turn recurring case patterns into better policy, vendor accountability, self-service guidance, and automation priorities.
WHAT YOU NEED
- 8+ years in corporate immigration, global mobility, international People Operations, or a closely related field; deep U.S. immigration expertise strongly preferred.
- Current working knowledge of immigration pathways, filing considerations, and policy changes, with sound judgment about when counsel must advise.
- Experience owning program policy, managing outside counsel/vendors, and influencing decisions with senior cross-functional stakeholders.
- A record of building scalable programs in a high-growth or global environment.
- Exceptional, empathetic communication and the ability to explain complex requirements clearly without giving legal advice.

AI NEEDS A NEW INFRASTRUCTURE LAYER. WE'RE BUILDING IT AT MODAL.
Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. THE ROLE:
We’re seeking a Revenue Operations Manager with a strong track record, a builder’s mindset, and a bias for action to join our in-person team in New York or SF.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role. You’ll own the entire revenue operations function, from top-of-funnel lead routing through deal close and commission administration. You’ll work closely with our Head of Finance & People Ops and sales leadership to build the systems, dashboards, and processes that scale our go-to-market motion.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON:
- Own the inbound lead routing process, partnering with Marketing to ensure proper attribution
- Run territory management and strategy for geo-based decision-making
- Support and strategize on every aspect of revenue operations in your territory
- Own capacity forecasting strategy, including inputs, throughputs, and outputs, and serve as the conduit back to Finance in the US for effective capacity forecasting
- Provide input and strategy on comp-based decisions and benchmarking
- Support leadership on overall regional operations and finance strategy across all functions, including sales, presales, and ecosystem
- Evaluate new tools on the market and be responsible for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team
- Build and maintain dashboards, leaderboards, and pipeline reporting to give leadership real-time visibility
- Monitor deal progression and hold reps accountable for CRM hygiene and accuracy
- Support deal reviews at the pricing and negotiation stages, coordinating with outside counsel as needed
- Own the closed-won process from signature through handoff to post-sale
- Administer commission plans across the sales org, ensuring accurate and timely calculations and serving as the source of truth for comp-related questions
YOU MAY BE A FIT IF:
- You have 3–7 years in Sales Operations or Revenue Operations at a high-growth, usage-based sales organization
- You’ve built core GTM infrastructure before: lead routing, CRM architecture, pipeline reporting, commission administration, and deal desk
- You have deep proficiency in CRM workflows, lifecycle stages, custom properties, and data hygiene
- You’ve owned commissions end-to-end: building the model, calculating payouts, fielding rep disputes, and keeping it reconciled with Finance
- You’ve run a deal desk, know what makes a contract clean, and catch errors before they become problems
- You’re strong in Excel or Google Sheets: you can build a pipeline coverage model and know which metrics actually matter
- You’ve earned trust with a sales team by making their lives easier while holding them accountable to process
- You have a builder’s mentality: you identify gaps, propose solutions, and execute without being asked twice
- You can zoom out and think strategically while staying close enough to the work to get your hands on the keyboard
- You have an AI-forward mindset: you actively use AI in your work and are excited to pioneer its use in go-to-market operations
- You have strong communication and collaboration skills and earn trust across Sales, Marketing, and Finance
- You’re a player-coach: you’re not above the details, and you’re excited to own the work yourself
