As Director, Analytics Engineering, you’ll lead the roadmap, architecture, and team responsible for the trusted data foundations that power 1Password’s business. What we're looking for: • Significant experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data architecture, including experience leading and developing teams. • Strong Structured Query Language (SQL) and dbt experience, including advanced data modeling, incremental processing, testing, documentation, and multi-environment deployment. • Deep knowledge of dimensional modeling, such as Kimball or star schema approaches, applied in complex Business-to-Business (B2B) Software as a Service (SaaS) environments. • Experience with modern cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift, including decisions related to performance, cost, and scale. • Experience establishing semantic layer strategies and trusted metric definitions across an organization. • Ability to translate complex business priorities into a clear data platform roadmap and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect, and AI-assisted analytics engineering workflows.
