Crypto Operations Associate - EMEA Coverage

Responsibilities: — Take primary responsibility for daily monitoring and surveillance of all customer activity. — Manage daily operational tasks including trading, new accounts, and cash management functions. — Handle cryptocurrency trading executions and exceptions such as errors and corrections. — Assist with customer onboarding processes including KYC and account approval. — Review general ledger accounts to identify and reconcile discrepancies. — Support the Anti-Money Laundering Program and investigations related to suspicious activities. — Proactively implement impactful changes across workflows, policies, and tools. — Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external partners. — Perform ad hoc duties and projects as assigned. Requirements: — Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in broker-dealer, financial services, trading, or cryptocurrency operations. — Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. — Familiarity with cryptocurrency or strong willingness to learn. — Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team. — Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. — Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and regulatory environment. — Ownership mentality and enthusiasm for challenges. — Alignment with Alpaca’s mission and passion for supporting customers and platform growth.
