Senior Legal Counsel - Crypto / DeFi

Re7 Capital, a London-based crypto-asset investment firm, is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel with over five years of experience in crypto, asset management, or financial services. The role involves overseeing regulatory licensing and managing legal structures across jurisdictions, supporting deal structuring and negotiations, ensuring compliance in sales, marketing, and communications, and advising on legal and regulatory matters related to current and new products. Responsibilities also include governance of legal entities, establishing new structures, protecting intellectual property, and ensuring data privacy compliance. The candidate will collaborate closely with leadership, internal teams, and external partners to facilitate global growth. Applicants should have a strong grasp of financial regulations such as FCA, CIMA, SEC, and MiCA, be qualified lawyers or possess equivalent senior legal experience, and have practical skills in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, managing fund governance, and working with external counsel and regulators.
