Senior automation QA Lead

Responsibilities: — Be the primary user of the product. — Manage the entire QA phase, including manual and automation testing. — Build an AI agents testing architecture. — Own and maintain the automation framework with a layered architecture (locators, page objects, API clients, test helpers) ensuring strict separation of concerns and keeping framework rules current as the platform evolves. — Build full-stack test coverage including authoring UI end-to-end flows and headless API tests against a coverage matrix. — Guard the API contract by maintaining zod schema validation against raw wire responses and OpenAPI snapshot/drift detection to catch backend contract changes automatically before production. — Design multi-phase, time-dependent pipelines and own long-running end-to-end flows that span multiple CI jobs, persist state between phases, and tolerate backend processing lag without flaking. — Own CI/CD for quality, maintaining GitHub Actions workflows. — Act as the quality gate in automated QA code reviews. — Collaborate across engineering teams by filing and tracking backend defects, flagging specification versus runtime contract mismatches, and owning data-testid conventions with frontend engineers to keep selectors stable. — Mentor team members by setting patterns, reviewing test code, and raising the QA standards for the wider team. — Build agent-based testing infrastructure to leverage AI for complex test scenario automation. — Actively use AI tools in daily engineering workflows to accelerate test script generation, data creation, and code analysis.
