Operations Expert with Python for AI Supply Chain Task Design

Responsibilities: — Design expert-level Terminal-Bench tasks by transforming real supply chain tasks into challenges solvable end to end by AI agents. — Define necessary files, data exports, and systems such as ERP, MES, and WMS extracts to ensure realistic planning scenarios. — Develop working solutions for each task, for example, a 5-day production plan solvable within 60 to 75 minutes. — Create automated checks using tests or scripts to objectively verify correctness and catch planning errors. — Document rules, constraints, SOPs, edge cases, data inconsistencies, and common planner errors. — Iterate on tasks based on reviewer feedback to maintain clarity, data consistency, and reproducibility in a command-line environment. Requirements: — Minimum 3 years of hands-on supply chain or production planning experience within the last 3 years, or a PhD with active research in the subfield. — Experience working with systems of record such as ERP and WMS, including their exports or reports. — Ability to personally execute processes governed by written rules like SOPs and planning constraints. — Technical proficiency in Python or another programming language, command line usage, and handling files such as CSV/JSON, APIs, or databases. — Availability to start around November 4, 2026. Nice-to-have: — Experience automating or auditing processes with scripts, SQL, RPA, or rules engines. — Over 5 years in the same process family. — Familiarity with Docker, Git, and writing tests. — Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP and TMS/WMS platforms. — Advanced Excel skills. Conditions: — Task-based compensation model, paid per task, with each task taking approximately 60 to 75 minutes. — Vetting tasks replace live interviews. — Tasks are reviewed by the client before approval.
