Ramp-up Account Manager (French Speaker)

Location: Spain Workplace: remote About Finom   Finom is a European tech startup headquartered in Amsterdam, and we’re on a journey towards revolutionizing the financial landscape for entrepreneurs worldwide. Our mission is to develop an all-in-one financial B2B solution that integrates banking functions, accounting, financial management, and invoicing into a seamless, mobile-first platform.   We recently closed a €115 million Series C equity round (around $133 million), bringing our total funding to approximately $346 million. This significant investment follows a $105 million growth funding round from General Catalyst, a long-term backer since 2021 known for supporting companies like Airbnb, HubSpot, KAYAK, and Stripe.   Finom's platform goes beyond traditional banking, offering invoicing and a growing suite of features, including AI-enabled accounting, aiming to simplify financial management for entrepreneurs. We're actively expanding our reach across key EU markets like Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain.   At Finom, we’re not just redefining the entrepreneurial experience — we’re empowering our employees to make a real difference. Your work matters, and your impact extends far beyond product metrics. We nurture innovation and an inspiring work environment where bold ideas thrive, prioritizing thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and our business as a whole.   Maintaining our start-up spirit, we prioritize thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and, of course, our business. About the Role As a RAM, you’ll own a book of accounts across European markets. This isn’t a passive renewal role. We want someone who treats their portfolio like a sales territory: proactively growing wallet share, spotting upsell and cross-sell moments, and building the kind of client relationships that make churn a non-starter. This role looks after customers for their first 90 days after activation (first subscription paid). Your main objective is to drive quick, thorough product adoption, with a focus on revenue and turning new customers into High Value Clients (HVCs). Day to day, you’ll explore clients’ businesses and needs in depth, then position our products to address the opportunities you uncover. You’ll be measured on what matters: expansion revenue, ARPA growth and voluntary churn. If you’re the type who reads their book every Monday morning and spots the opportunity before the client asks, this is your seat. What you'll be doing Own a portfolio of high-value SME clients across European markets and drive sustainable revenue growth from it. Prioritise well: not all clients deliver the same value, so qualify quickly and accurately, then prioritise accordingly. Proactively engage your book through outreach and check-ins, rather than just reacting to inbound requests. Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities across Finom’s product suite (plans, card spend, invoicing, credit). Build genuine relationships with decision-makers and be the person they call when something needs sorting. Use account data, usage signals and portfolio trends to inform your outreach priorities and commercial conversations. Gut feel is a start, but data is what makes it repeatable. Monitor account health signals and step in early on at-risk accounts before churn becomes likely. Maintain a clean pipeline and activity tracking in Salesforce – no black holes. Use Modjo, our AI call intelligence tool, to sharpen your performance and share learnings with the team. Work closely with onboarding, product and support to make sure clients get what was promised. What we're looking for Languages: fluent English, plus French at Native Level At least 2 years of account management experience in fintech or B2B SaaS. At least 1 year of outbound or business development experience: you know how to open a conversation and create urgency without being pushy. Hungry: you want to win, and you push for results without being chased. Commercially sharp: you think in terms of revenue per account, expansion potential and portfolio mix, not just satisfaction scores. Data-driven: you use data to make decisions, whether that’s spotting a usage drop before it becomes a churn risk or finding the right moment for a plan-upgrade conversation. Comfortable in a fast-moving scale-up where the playbook is still being written in places. Confident communicator: you can run a QBR, push back when needed and escalate the right things. Proficient in Salesforce, Google Workspace and Slack. Experience with Modjo or a similar call tool is a bonus.
