You understand wallets, token transfers, swaps and perps, and you know how they should be accounted for. • A working understanding of DeFi, including liquidity pools, AMMs, lending protocols and staking, and how to account for each of them. • Hands-on experience with QBO and at least one crypto subledger. • Strong Excel skills. INDEX/MATCH, dropdown-driven models and clean reconciliation skills. • Comfort with multi-entity and intercompany accounting, including related party considerations under GAAP. • Good judgment on when an issue needs to be escalated and the ability to communicate it clearly, both verbally and in writing. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once. Nice to have • Experience with crypto subledger platforms (TRES, Koinly and Breezing). • Experience with entity structuring, including multi-entity setups, intercompany arrangements and offshore entities. • Exposure to BVI or other offshore entity reporting. • Some scripting ability (Python, Apps Script) for cleaning and transforming transaction exports. • Experience with Rippling or another EOR/payroll platform.
