Financial Analyst Expert (FP&A + Data/BI)

Location: Limassol, Cyprus We are an international financial group founded in 2016, regulated by CySEC and the Central Bank of Cyprus, combining the personalized approach of a family office with the infrastructure of a modern financial institution. With over €350 million in assets under management, the Group operates across Cyprus, the UAE, Switzerland, and the United States. As we continue to grow, we are expanding our Finance team and looking for a Financial Analyst to support the CFO with financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting across the Group. This role is not about maintaining what already exists; we are building our analytics and reporting infrastructure largely from scratch, and we need someone who can own that process end to end. This is an excellent opportunity to gain strong exposure to group-wide financial strategy, work closely with senior leadership, and build a clear career path within Finance. What You Will Do Assist the CFO with financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting across multiple business lines Build and maintain financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning Design and build dashboards that pull data automatically from source systems (1C, accounting platforms, banking/crypto platforms), rather than relying on manual data entry Set up and maintain automated data extraction, cleansing, and reconciliation processes across systems, ensuring data accuracy from the ground up Prepare and present financial reports and materials for management, with clear, well-designed data visualization Collaborate with other departments to gather data, analyze performance, and report on operational effectiveness Own a range of reports, including financial performance, budget variance analysis, and ad hoc reporting Calculate transfer pricing and assess the efficiency of business units Build data cubes and optimize data reporting structures for group-wide analysis, including consolidation across multiple business lines Use BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) and SQL/Power Query for data visualization and automation Proactively identify where manual processes can be automated and bring solutions, not just flag the problem Requirements 2+ years of hands-on experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related role, with recent, active experience, ideally within the last 2-3 years, in building reporting and analytics (not just managing a team that does) Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel skills Practical experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar), Power Query, and/or SQL; comfort pulling and transforming data from multiple systems rather than working from pre-built reports Experience with 1C is a strong advantage A genuine interest in using AI tools and automation in day-to-day financial work, not just awareness that they exist Ability to work independently within a given task: plan your own approach, know who to ask for what, escalate when needed, and deliver a complete result without being micromanaged Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy Fluent English, both written and spoken Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple reporting deadlines across different business lines University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field Good to Know At interview stage, we'll ask you to walk us through real examples of your work, dashboards you've built, automations you've set up, so please come prepared to show, not just describe Based in Limassol, Cyprus is preferred, but we're open to remote candidates (CIS, Europe, Middle East) for the right fit, with an initial on-site visit expected at the start and periodic visits afterward Benefits Competitive salary Annual performance bonus Access to our Limassol offices, including daily drinks and snacks, as well as parking facilities Working hours are from 9:00 to 18:00, with a shorter day on Fridays until 16:30 24 working days of paid annual leave, in addition to statutory public and bank holidays in Cyprus 14 working days of paid sick leave per calendar year Work permit sponsorship and full support with all related arrangements The opportunity to participate in corporate sports activities and events, and receive corporate gifts
