Senior Electrical Estimation & Design Engineer

Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia We are seeking an experienced Electrical Senior Estimation & Design Engineer / Manager with 10+ years of experience in electrical estimation, design, BOQ preparation, and project bidding. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in interpreting electrical drawings, preparing accurate quantity take-offs, developing electrical designs, and coordinating with vendors and bidding teams. Key Responsibilities Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, and requirements to determine project scope, materials, and equipment. Perform quantity take-offs and determine material and resource requirements. Prepare BOQs from MEP electrical drawings and Single Line Diagrams (SLDs). Prepare and review electrical design calculations, drawings, specifications, and BOMs . Prepare Protection Single Line Diagrams and ensure designs comply with applicable international codes and standards. Perform electrical estimation and BOQ preparation for industrial and residential facilities . Coordinate with the bidding team for project estimation and tender submissions. Coordinate with vendors and negotiate pricing and commercial terms to achieve competitive project costs. Carry out transformer sizing, DG sizing, load calculations, cable sizing, cable schedules, circuit breaker sizing, and protection system sizing . Prepare electrical layouts and Single Line Diagrams using AutoCAD . Strong knowledge of electrical design calculations and equipment sizing. Experience working with MEP electrical drawings for industrial and residential projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD . Good understanding of international electrical codes and standards. Strong vendor coordination, negotiation, and bidding/tendering skills.
