Commercial & Pricing Analyst

Location: Kazakhstan; Serbia; Georgia; Portugal; Cyprus We are looking for a Commercial & Pricing Analyst. In this role, you will work daily with sales dynamics and margin performance across markets, suppliers, and partners. It is not just about reviewing numbers — it is about understanding what stands behind them: which processes, decisions, and business factors drive the trends. You will identify the root causes of performance changes, develop well-reasoned recommendations within existing pricing models, and support their implementation together with the commercial team. This position requires a data-driven mindset, confidence in working with large data sets, and the ability to structure information and make balanced decisions. The role involves a high level of autonomy and personal responsibility for the accuracy of conclusions and their financial impact on the business. This is a remote position. Monitor daily sales dynamics across multiple segments: brand, country, supplier, key company partners, suppliers, and business lines. Analyze multiple core metrics in combination to get a comprehensive picture. Work confidently with large datasets; identify key events and business changes behind the numbers and graphs. Deeply immerse yourself in business processes and identify root causes for metric changes. Develop solutions that drive positive trend-level changes. Collaborate with other teams to implement agreed-upon decisions, provide well-reasoned justification for proposed measures, build action plans, and monitor results. Present results clearly using charts and numbers. Defend the company’s interests and provide well-reasoned refusals under pressure, when required. Communicate daily with the commercial team, dive into the specifics of each market, collect feedback, structure and aggregate received information, and present it in summary form. Ensure the quality of collected data, clarify and verify suspicious or potentially inaccurate information with related teams. Process internal requests regarding price discrepancies with competitors, verify data accuracy, make pricing decisions, and issue discounts. Requirements 1–3 years of experience in analytics, pricing, revenue management, commercial analytics, or related functions. English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher (both spoken and written). Strong analytical skills: ability to work with multiple metrics and analytical tools simultaneously, understand business processes behind the numbers, pay close attention to details and identify root causes of changes. Advanced Excel skills (cubes, pivot tables, complex formulas, charts). Basic SQL skills: ability to read and modify existing queries, write simple queries to extract data from multiple tables. Experience working with large data sets, high attention to detail, and structured/systematic thinking. Experience with BI tools is a plus. Benefits Flexible schedules and the opportunity to work remotely. An ambitious and supportive team who love what they do, appreciate each other, and grow together. Internal programs for onboarding and training, development of soft skills and leadership abilities. Partial compensation for participation in external training and conferences. Corporate English school: group and individual lessons, speaking clubs with colleagues from all over the world. Corporate rates on hotels and travel services. MyTime Day Off – an extra non-working day with full compensation. Learn more about our data protection practices in our Privacy Policy: https://emergingtravel.notion.site/recruitment-privacy-notice
