🚀 What you'll build and who you'll work with You would join the product team that builds the AI agents answering our 1M+ members' questions about their health insurance - reimbursements, coverage, claims, account changes and more - instantly and without waiting for a human. Our AI agents already fully resolve more than 50% of members' questions.
Alan is a French digital insurance company (insurtech platform) and healthcare partner operating remotely in France, Belgium, and Spain. The company integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single user experience, serving over 1 million members and partnering with 40K+ companies.
Задачи:
— Design and ship LLM-powered AI agents that understand member requests, reason over contracts, claims, and history, and take real actions on their behalf.
— Build tools, retrieval, and context pipelines to provide agents with the right information at the right moment.
— Enable interoperability between AI agents at Alan, such as handing off conversations and sharing context.
— Expand automated resolution to new channels, including AI phone support with real-time voice conversations.
— Own evaluation processes by building datasets, automated evaluations, and quality monitoring.
— Measure and improve resolution rate, answer quality, and member satisfaction by iterating on prompts, models, and architecture.
— Collaborate with care experts and product teams to identify new topics for AI resolution.
Требования:
— 5+ years of experience building scalable software systems.
— Strong backend experience; Python is a plus.
— Hands-on experience building products with LLMs (agents, tool calling, RAG, prompt engineering, evaluation), ideally shipped to production.
— Evaluation mindset to measure and improve AI system quality.
— Passion for solving complex problems with elegant solutions.
— Interest in healthcare technology and understanding that insurance is about access to care.
— High potential and curiosity.
