About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About the role
We're hiring a Head of Professional Services to build and lead Vercel's global professional services organization, composed of our Technical Account Management (TAM) and Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) functions. These functions embed directly with our most strategic customers to design, build, and ship production applications on Vercel using Vercel's core platform, Next.js and our agent stack, taking projects from first prototype through production rollout. You will define how this function operates: the engagement model, the delivery methodology, the commercial structure, and the team itself.
You will report directly to our Global Head of Field Engineering, and partner closely with GTM and Product Leadership to run a business function that turns our largest customers' complex implementations into production deployments, drives adoption and expansion, and feeds what you learn in the field back into our product roadmap.
This is a hybrid position based in San Francisco, Austin or New York, with 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Friday) required in office.
What you'll do
Define the engagement model: how engagements are scoped, staffed, sequenced, and measured, and which accounts qualify for embedded support.
Own delivery excellence for strategic customer engagements, from discovery and technical scoping through production deployment and stabilization.
Establish the commercial model for professional services, including packaging, pricing, capacity planning, and resource allocation across competing customer priorities.
Stay hands-on where it matters: architecture reviews, system design, and unblocking critical engagements alongside your team.
Codify field learnings into repeatable playbooks, reference architectures, and delivery patterns that scale beyond individual engagements
What you need
10+ years in software engineering, forward deployed engineering, or technical consulting roles, with at least 5 years leading customer-facing engineering or delivery teams in a high-growth environment.
Experience building a team, function, or service line from zero, including hiring, methodology, and operating model.
Strong background in modern web technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, cloud infrastructure) with the ability to review code and whiteboard architectures credibly.
Experience building or deploying LLM-powered applications and an understanding of how model behavior shapes product decisions.
Commercial acumen: you have scoped, priced, and delivered technical engagements for enterprise customers and understand utilization, margin, and capacity tradeoffs
Bonus if you
Have built with Vercel, Next.js, AI SDK, or v0.
Have led forward deployed or embedded engineering teams at an AI-native or developer platform company.
Have owned a professional services P&L or defined services pricing and packaging from scratch.
Are comfortable representing the function externally at conferences, customer executive briefings, or large-scale events.
Benefits & Compensation:
Competitive compensation package, including equity.
Inclusive Healthcare Package.
Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
Flexible Time Off.
We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.
The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $300,000 - $370,000 plus annual bonus. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. About the role
We are looking for a Head of Solutions Architecture to join our global Field Engineering team. You will build and lead the technical sales organization behind our relationships with the new and leading startups shaping how web and AI products get built. These teams ship using Vercel's core platform, Next.js, and our AI stack, and the technical decisions made in their first architecture review often determine how far they scale with us.
You will own a global team of Solutions Architects within our Startups sales organization. You will set the bar for technical excellence across the deal cycle, coach your team through strategic accounts and critical deals, and step in yourself when it matters most: architecture reviews, migration plans, and high-stakes presentations. Beyond running the team, you will shape how Vercel wins in this segment. You will turn patterns from the field into repeatable plays and carry what startups tell you back to our engineering org so it shows up in the product.
You will report directly to our Global Head of Field Engineering and partner closely with Sales and Field Engineering leadership to win new business and expand existing accounts. You will also own org planning, staffing, budgeting, and recruiting as you build the team this segment needs.
This is a hybrid position based in San Francisco, Austin, or New York, with 3 days per week in office.
What you'll do
Lead, develop, and manage Vercel's global Startups SA team, ensuring technical excellence across the pre-sales cycle.
Provide hands-on support for key accounts as needed (presentations, architecture reviews, migration plans).
Oversee and coach SA engagement on strategic accounts and critical deals, developing repeatable plays from trends you are seeing across your team.
Track and report SA performance to Sales and Field Engineering leadership quarterly.
Own org planning, staffing, budgeting, and recruiting.
What you need
10+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering, or similar technical pre-sales roles, with at least 5 years in a formal leadership position.
Strong background in modern web technologies (JavaScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, APIs, cloud infrastructure).
Proven ability to lead, coach, and scale technical teams in a high-growth environment.
Demonstrated success working with startups as customers across diverse industries.
Strong understanding of modern software development workflows (CI/CD, DevOps, frontend frameworks).
Experience collaborating with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to drive customer success.
Bonus if you
Have experience working with Vercel, Next.js, or similar frontend frameworks.
Have led SA teams at a high-growth developer tool or cloud infrastructure company.
Bring expertise in developer tooling, edge computing, or performance optimization.
Are comfortable presenting at conferences, webinars, or large-scale customer events.

- Support periodic KYC refresh reviews on existing customers as part of the Company's ongoing due diligence program
- Contribute to onboarding and investigation policy development - if you see a gap, flag it and propose a solution
- Stay current on FinCEN advisories, FATF typologies, and emerging financial crime trends relevant to Rain's product set - including stablecoin, virtual asset, and agentic payment typologies
What We're Looking For
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in a compliance, KYC, AML Investigations or onboarding role at a FinTech, payments company, or crypto company
- Demonstrated experience reviewing KYB applications for business entities including beneficial ownership analysis, entity structure review, and corporate document verification
- Experience with OFAC, PEP, and adverse media screening tools - comfortable making independent screening determinations and documenting your reasoning
- Demonstrated experience conducting end-to-end AML investigations and preparing SAR-quality case documentation
- Working knowledge of BSA/AML program requirements and FinCEN SAR filing rules
- Experience with transaction monitoring platforms
- Familiarity with blockchain analytics tools and on-chain transaction analysis
- Strong written communication skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where you manage multiple applications simultaneously without losing attention to detail
- A do-er mentality - you are self-directed, take ownership of your queue, and do not wait to be told what to do next
- CAMS certification or progress toward certification is a plus
What Success Looks Like
- Your alert queue is current - SLA compliance above 95% consistently
- Your case documentation is complete and independently reviewable
- Your SAR narratives meet internal and FinCen quality standards on the first draft - minimal rework required from senior reviewers

MAIN DUTIES
- Write and report relevant bugs and errors using best practices through the internal database system.
- Ability to understand and prioritize tasks and issues quickly and efficiently.
- Native language skills and cultural awareness of Bulgarian and Bulgaria.
- Good oral and written communication.

- Evaluate translations in the context of software, mobile apps, and documentation.
- Be a subject matter expert for linguistic issues in Bulgarian; be able to research and resolve linguistic questions.
- Adhere to project-specific quality standards, trademarks, style guides, and client-preferred checklists and glossaries.
- Troubleshoot basic problems; be able to communicate effectively and escalate testing issues.

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
👉 ABOUT THE ROLE
Product designers at Alan are at the forefront of building our product(s), taking them from inception to completion. They work hand in hand with product managers, researchers, and engineers to ensure we create meaningful and human experiences that improve the health of our members.
The community of designers is vibrant and inclusive; we are all learning, growing, and improving together!
As a product designer, you will:
- Develop a product vision and enable teams to explore, ideate, and experiment towards it. When required, you should be able to autonomously take product bets from zero to one.
- Communicate transversally and be a compelling storyteller, employing written visual and verbal techniques.
- Build an understanding of our members to nurture product thinking and transform insights into actionable opportunities.
- Maintain strong working relationships and collaborate with product managers, researchers, and engineers, from identifying problems and opportunities to finding solutions and delivering the product(s).
- Develop and evangelize design understanding and sensibility across the organization, improving ways of working and design processes.
- Mentor junior designers, increasing collective performance and quality across the team.
- Deliver a UI consistent with Alan’s brand with thoughtful design choices and a high-quality bar in delivering products.
- Contribute to the design system with components documentation for designers and engineers.
- Evaluate and maintain the quality of Alan’s product through continuous monitoring and testing.
✏️ Qualifications
- Based in (or within commuting distance of) one of our hubs (Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille, Brussels, Madrid, or Barcelona), with the ability to work onsite twice per week.
- 5+ years of product design experience - You've designed and built products from concept to launch
- Track record of shipping quality products - You're experienced working within cross-functional product and engineering teams to deliver exceptional user experiences

🙌 Products or teams you may work on
You'll be designing the direct touch points that connect our members with their healthcare journey. Your work will focus on:
- Alan Clinic: When prevention alone is not enough, our members need the best care possible. That's what the Alan Clinic is for. 120 health professionals (and one AI) work behind the scenes to answer all our member's questions, consult in video, redirect you to the nearest hospital, interpret your lab results. And while it feels effortless for members, the logistics behind it are next level. We plan to grow the clinic further in the best medical suite of tools for both members and doctors.
- Alan Spain: We're building Alan's own health network from scratch in Spain, designed around the real needs of Spanish members: from navigating a fragmented system to accessing the right care at the right time. At the heart of it is Alan Flex, our subscription model that goes beyond insurance to become a true health companion for individuals and families.
