About the Role
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is a deeply technical post-sales role focused on driving successful adoption of Azul Prime within a portfolio of strategic customers. Unlike a traditional TAM role, this position is hands-on and technical first. You will spend the majority of your time engaged with customer engineering teams on JVM performance tuning, troubleshooting, reliability engineering, and architectural guidance. Strong relationship skills matter, but it is technical credibility with developers, SREs, and architects that makes this role successful.
You will be trusted by Azul’s most important accounts to ensure that their mission-critical Java applications run on Prime with the best possible performance, stability, and cost efficiency. And you will serve as the bridge between customers and Azul’s engineering organization, feeding real-world insights back into the product.
What Makes This Role Different
Technical depth first. Expect to spend significant time reading thread dumps, GC logs, and flight recordings — not building slide decks.
Direct partnership with Azul engineering. You will work side-by-side with our runtime, GC, JIT compiler, and tooling teams on complex customer issues.
Ownership of technical outcomes. You own production adoption of Azul Prime within your accounts — from candidate application selection through successful rollout and ongoing optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Ownership
Own a portfolio of named strategic customers, with flexibility to engage additional high-value Azul Prime customers as opportunities arise.
Build and maintain deep, long-term relationships with technical stakeholders — SREs, Java developers, platform engineers, and architects.
Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Support on joint account planning, renewals, and expansion opportunities.
Technical Leadership
Serve as the primary technical advisor for Azul Prime across your accounts.
Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning engagements for JVM-based applications running at enterprise scale.
Provide architectural guidance on reliability, scalability, latency, throughput, and cloud cost optimization.
Work with customers to identify and qualify candidate applications for Azul Prime, then partner with them through successful production deployment.
Product & Engineering Partnership
Collaborate with Azul’s runtime, compiler, GC, and tooling engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Channel structured, actionable customer feedback into Azul’s product and engineering organizations to help shape the roadmap.
Act as a senior point of technical escalation for high-severity issues within your accounts.
Enablement & Knowledge Sharing
Design and deliver customer-facing workshops, training sessions, and technical business reviews.
Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, runbooks, and reusable customer-facing assets for Azul Prime.
Share knowledge internally, mentoring peers across the TAM, Sales Engineering, and Support organizations.
Keep internal systems current with account activity, engagement notes, and customer outcomes.
Required Qualifications
12+ years in senior technical roles such as software engineering, SRE, performance engineering, or cloud/platform engineering.
8+ years in customer-facing technical roles (TAM, solutions architect, consulting engineer, or SRE with direct customer engagement).
Strong working knowledge of Java programming and JVM internals — garbage collection, JIT compilation, class loading, threading, and memory model.
Demonstrated experience tuning and troubleshooting enterprise-scale Java applications in production.
Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and apply structured problem-solving techniques.
Strong Linux fundamentals, including shell scripting and performance troubleshooting on Linux systems.
Hands-on experience with distributed systems, public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, and/or Azure), and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for audiences ranging from individual engineers to senior executives.
Based in North America and able to travel occasionally to customer sites (typically 10–20%).
Preferred Qualifications
Deep specialization in JVM performance tuning, GC behavior analysis, and low-latency Java applications.
Experience with observability and monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace, JFR, or similar APM tools).
Familiarity with microservices architectures and modern cloud-native Java deployment patterns.
Cloud platform certification (AWS, Azure, GCP) or SRE-related certifications.
Contributions to open-source Java projects or active participation in the broader Java technical community.
Experience using Jira and Confluence to raise bugs and maintain documentation.
Prior experience with Azul Prime, OpenJDK, HotSpot, or other commercial Java runtimes.
Why Azul
At Azul, you will work alongside a team of Java experts who genuinely love the platform, on problems that matter to some of the most demanding engineering organizations in the world. Our technology powers mission-critical Java workloads at massive scale, and our customers rely on us precisely because we go deeper on Java than anyone else. ClickHouse is the open-source, real-time analytical database behind a lot of today's AI. More than 4,000 companies build on ClickHouse, including Anthropic, OpenAI, Tesla and Meta.
As a Consulting Engineer, you're the hands-on engineer on our customers' most important projects. When a customer needs to migrate, integrate, or prove ClickHouse on a real workload, you work in the build alongside their engineers: you design it, build it, test it and hand it over.
You'll work on a broad mix of projects for customers across APJ, from moving large workloads off other databases to building new real-time analytics on ClickHouse. Each one is scoped with clear goals from the start, so you know what success looks like and can get stuck in. It's a fast way to build deep experience across lots of different data problems.
The consulting function at ClickHouse is less than a year old, so you'll help shape how ClickHouse delivers this work as the team grows. Between projects you take cases alongside support engineers, which keeps you close to day-to-day support.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Turn customer goals into a scoped project with measurable success criteria, sizing and a timeline
- Design a target architecture and prove it against the customer's own data: schema and engine design, capacity and sizing, proofs of concept
- Do the build: implementation, pipelines and integrations, migration execution, tooling and automation
- Measure it before it matters, with benchmarking, load and functional testing, then support the cutover
- Tune what production reveals, then hand over with an engagement report and knowledge transfer, so the customer's team can run it without you
- Take L1 to L3 cases alongside support engineers when you're between projects
- Feed what you see in the field back to Product and Engineering, and turn your work into reference architectures, knowledge base articles and blog posts
- Work in a constant feedback loop with the Pre-sales team to ensure that the demos and POCs they present are credible when you put them into production
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 5+ years delivering hands-on technical work for customers, whether your title was consultant, professional services, solutions architect, senior support, SRE or something else
- Real depth in databases, whether analytical, transactional or relational
- Hands-on SQL. You regularly write complex queries from scratch, and tune and debug them yourself
- You've owned implementations, migrations or POCs for external customers from start to finish
- Hands-on cloud experience (AWS, GCP and/or Azure)
- You've deployed and run workloads on Kubernetes yourself
- You've run distributed systems, such as distributed databases, in production
- You give precise technical answers and explain them clearly
- Fluent English
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with ClickHouse
- Migrating analytical workloads from systems such as PostgreSQL, Snowflake, BigQuery or Elastic
- Terraform
- Data pipelines and streaming, such as Kafka, Kinesis, Spark or Debezium
- Python, Bash or Go
- Involvement in open source, as a user, contributor or community member
GOOD TO KNOW
- This role is remote in Singapore
- Travel to customer sites is part of the job, up to 35% of your time, depending on the project: some need none, others weekly visits
- You'll join our APJ Support Services team, alongside Support Engineers and TAM Architects
- You'll be part of the on-call rotation, about one week a quarter, with time off in lieu if you're paged at a weekend
HOW WE HIRE
- A 30-minute call with our recruiter
- A conversation with the hiring manager
- A take-home exercise, designed to take three to four hours, with three working days to complete it
- A 90-minute technical interview with the team: you'll walk us through your take-home, then join a working session where you write and tune SQL live
- A final conversation with our VP of Support Services
- References, then an offer
The working session is without AI tools, so make sure you're comfortable writing queries from scratch. Download open-source ClickHouse and practise: it's free, easy to install, and great preparation.

We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion.
Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Collections Experience owns the product experience for Notion’s database block and everything on top of it: properties, views, forms, permissions, and many more features. If you’ve ever typed /database in a Notion page, you’ve already used something our team built.
We’re hiring an experienced software engineer to accelerate our mission to build a flexible, reliable, and intuitive primitive that gives everyone the power to model their work exactly as they imagine— from simple lists to the most complex workflows.
We’re 8+ engineers, designers, and PMs across SF and NYC. You’ll work across the stack in TypeScript, ship features that touch both the data model and the UI, and help shape where the database block goes next.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE
- Design and ship new database properties and views that expand what people can model in Notion
- Design permission models that hold up at the scale of our largest customers
- Partner with the Agent team to grow what Notion Agent can do with databases, from tool development to eval-driven iteration
- Collaborate closely with product and design on features that are ambiguous up front and require strong technical judgment to scope
- Raise the bar on code review, testing, and technical design across the team
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING
- 10+ years shipping production software, with a strong track record of owning features end-to-end
- Fluency with TypeScript across both backend and frontend
- Strong product instincts: you can take a vague problem, propose a solid technical approach, and know when to cut scope
- Experience on systems where data model decisions have long-lived consequences (databases, permissions, collaborative editing, or similar)
- You don’t need to be an AI expert, but you’re curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results.
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience building database, spreadsheet, or workflow tools
- Background in permissions or authorization systems at scale
- Familiarity with AI/agent tooling, evals, or LLM-driven product experiences

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY & ACCOMMODATIONS
We hire talented people from a wide range of backgrounds. If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every bullet, we still encourage you to apply. Notion is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected characteristic. Consistent with applicable law, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. Notion provides reasonable accommodations during the application process; if you need one, please let your recruiter know.

We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.
*Titles posted to our careers page are updated regularly to best advertise the role and expected seniority, but internally we have a flat titling system with two types of titles: one for individual contributors and one for people managers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
*Preferable to have someone near one of our offices in NYC or San Francisco, but open to hiring around the US for the right candidate.

- 3+ years of negotiating complex technology transactions, including 1+ years negotiating B2B SAAS customer contracts on a commercial legal team at a fast-paced late stage private or mid-sized public B2B SaaS company
- In addition to B2B SaaS customer contract negotiations, experience with data privacy, legal operations, strategic IP-heavy partnerships and preferably B2C legal issues are nice-to-have
- Bias for action and a willingness to take ownership
- Growth mindset that prioritizes continuous operational improvement and service excellence
- Experience with scaling business processes globally and operating in environments that have achieved significant scale
- Excitement about generative AI and motivation to continuously learn more about the legal landscape governing a new and exciting industry
Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Our salary ranges are based on competitive market rates for our size, stage and industry, and salary is just one part of the overall compensation package we provide.
There are many factors that go into salary determinations, including relevant experience, skill level and qualifications assessed during the interview process, and maintaining internal equity with peers on the team. The range shared below is a general expectation for the function as posted, but we are also open to considering candidates who may be more or less experienced than outlined in the job description. In this case, we will communicate any updates in the expected salary range.

As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a Writer to join the team and help us continue to craft the high quality games our fans expect.
At Larian, a Writer is not just a dialogue writer, but a storyteller, a scene designer, a collaborator, and at heart - a player. They work closely with other creatives to deliver the breadth and richness of agency that we want to experience in games, and to give players the choices that make them ask “Are they really going to allow me to do that?!” Only to discover that not only did we allow it, we built a whole alternative story path out of it.
Responsibilities
Write and test complex branching dialogues that have player agency throughout and fulfill the narrative requirements set by Design, Writing, and Narrative Leads and Directors

Write texts for in-game non-dialogue elements, including tooltips, item descriptions, journal entries, UI elements, and other ancillary texts
Liaise with other teams to answer questions regarding dialogue and story elements

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a senior application security specialist to join a growing security team at Xsolla. This is a hands-on role where you will own security initiatives end-to-end - identifying, assessing, and driving remediation of security vulnerabilities across our products and infrastructure.
You will lead day-to-day AppSec work - deep code reviews, vulnerability triage, threat modeling, and security testing - and set the standards for how this work is done. You are rigorous, pragmatic, and able to balance security risk against business velocity in a payment platform operating at scale.
You will also mentor junior specialists and help raise the security bar across engineering teams.
