About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. About the Role
As part of the Anthropic security department, the compliance team owns understanding security and AI safety expectations, as established by regulators, customers and (nascent) industry norms (which we also seek to influence). The compliance team uses this understanding to provide direction to internal partners on the priorities of security and safety requirements they must meet. The compliance team assures regulators and customers that those expectations are met by earning security credentials and responding to direct inquiry about Anthropics security program from auditors, customers and partners.
This opportunity is unique, as we work to secure today’s most novel and valuable asset types, we must build a new kind of compliance program, assuring the safety of artificial intelligence capabilities.

Build scalable data center and hyperscaler processes and documentation systems that will support future expansion to additional geographies and compliance frameworks.
Assess and mitigate security and operational risks, implementing corrective actions, and managing vendor compliance.
Coordinate engagements with independent assessors to earn security and privacy certifications and attestations important to Anthropic customers and enterprise partnerships, and to meet regulatory obligations.
Write, update and enact policies capturing security, privacy, and AI safety requirements.
Maintain and enhance Anthropic's system of security controls through audit readiness, recordkeeping, and cross-functional communication.

Are comfortable organizing time-bounded task management of delegated work streams across a diverse organization
Are energized by being the subject matter expert who educates the organization on new compliance requirements and auditors on current security practices
Preferred qualifications

Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Today, when you go to your doctor and get referred to a specialist, your doctor sends out a referral and tells you, “They’ll be in touch soon.” So you wait. And wait. Sometimes days, weeks, or even months. Why? Because too often providers are overwhelmed with the painstakingly tedious work required to get paid by insurance companies. Powered by proprietary models, Tennr handles the complex paperwork that gets patients through the door and providers paid, helping operators get patients the right care, at the right time, in the right setting.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Sr. Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll lead the design, delivery, and ongoing optimization of automation solutions for Tennr’s most complex customers: large-scale health systems, national provider groups, and enterprise partners. This is a highly technical, strategic, and customer-facing role that demands deep domain fluency, executive presence, and strong systems thinking.
You’ll own enterprise-scale implementations end-to-end: from pre-sale discovery and business case alignment to go-live and expansion. You’ll act as both a trusted technical advisor and a project lead, working closely with senior customer stakeholders and cross-functional teams at Tennr to ensure lasting success.
This role sits within a high-performance implementation pod and directly influences Tennr’s go-to-market and product strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead end-to-end enterprise implementations, from discovery to post-go-live
- Align cross-functional teams and manage project delivery, risks, and change
- Conduct operational audits to identify workflow gaps and automation opportunities
- Design scalable, configurable solutions using Tennr’s platform and APIs
- Reimagine processes with automation best practices, not just replicate legacy systems
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Sales to shape solutions and delivery scope
- Maintain documentation, enable knowledge transfer, and improve internal delivery tools
- Support sales strategy, mentor junior team members, and influence product roadmap
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS delivery or solution design
- A degree or minor in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of APIs, systems integration, and technical architecture
- Proven ability to lead complex technical engagements with large enterprise customers
- Skilled at communicating technical concepts to both executive and technical audiences
- Experience navigating complex org structures and aligning cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on strategic, scalable solutions
- Business acumen and domain fluency — ideally in healthcare or similarly complex industries
- Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced, unstructured environments
- Demonstrated ability to mentor others and contribute to team-wide best practices
- High ownership mindset and urgency — proactive, resourceful, and impact-driven
Nice to Haves
- Familiarity with workflow automation, RPA, or enterprise integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Workato)
- Background in consulting, solution architecture, or technical customer success
- Experience in startup environments or scaling delivery functions
WHY TENNR?
- Drive Impact: one of our company values is Cowboy, meaning you set the pace. You won’t just talk about things, you’ll get them done. And feel the impact.
- Develop Operational Expertise: learn the inner workings of scaling systems, tools, and infrastructure
- Innovate with Purpose: we’re not just doing this for fun (although we do have a lot of fun). At Tennr, you’ll join a high-caliber team maniacally focused on reducing patient delays across the U.S. healthcare system.
- Build Relationships: collaborate and connect with like-minded, driven individuals in our Hudson Square office 4 days/week
- Free lunch! Plus a pantry full of snacks.
BENEFITS
- Beautiful new office at 345 Hudson Street
