About the Opportunity
OKX Brazil is building its finance function from the ground up while preparing for supervision by the Central Bank of Brazil (BCB) under the new virtual asset service provider (SPSAV/PSAV) framework. We are looking for a Finance & Accounting Analyst to join our Brazil team and take ownership of core day-to-day accounting, accounts payable, and tax-compliance operations.
You will work alongside the Senior Finance Manager and the Finance & Accounting Specialist, in a role where accuracy, documentation, and discipline matter. Our books will soon be reviewed by a regulator, not only by auditors. This is a strong opportunity for someone early in their career who wants hands-on exposure to financial regulation, crypto, and Brazil’s tax reform.
What You’ll Be Doing
Accounting & Month-End Close
Prepare monthly close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and recurring accounting schedules.
Prepare and review intercompany journal entries and reconcile intercompany balances with affiliates to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Maintain close checklists and supporting documentation in FloQast and NetSuite, meeting group reporting deadlines.
Support the local Portuguese-language books, helping keep entries aligned with Brazilian GAAP and the BCB chart of accounts (COSIF) as we prepare for regulated status.
Accounts Payable & Expense Management
Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and weekly payment batches in line with internal policies and approval matrices.
Validate vendor documentation and apply the correct tax treatment before payment.
Review withholding taxes on vendor payments (IRRF, PIS/COFINS/CSLL, INSS, ISS), and keep payment files and supporting documents audit-ready.
Tax Compliance Support
Issue electronic invoices for company operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with municipal and federal requirements.
Support the monthly review of VAT and CIT calculations and maintain supporting documentation.
Support tax-to-accounting reconciliations and coordinate with our outsourced accounting firm on filings and information requests.
Help us follow and prepare for the Brazilian tax reform (IBS/CBS) transition, including the impact on invoicing, vendor payments, and ERP configuration.
Audit & Controls
Support external audit and group-level audit requests: prepare PBC lists, schedules, and reconciliations.
Follow documented controls and flag exceptions or gaps. Contribute to SOPs and process improvements as we build a controlled environment suited to a regulated entity.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CRC registration is a plus).
3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in financial services, fintech, crypto, or big 4.
Solid knowledge of IFRS and BR GAAP/CPC. Familiarity with tax is a plus.
Hands-on experience with month-end closing, reconciliations, and AP processes.
Strong attention to detail, a sense of ownership, and the discipline to document your work.
Intermediate-to-advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups); Power Query is a plus.
Hands-on, responsible use of AI tools to improve speed and quality of work, while validating outputs and protecting sensitive data.
Professional proficiency in English: you will work daily with international teams and prepare documentation for the group in English.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with international teams across time zones.
Nice to Have
Experience in an institution regulated by the BCB or familiarity with COSIF.
Exposure to crypto or digital assets, or interest in learning about them.
Experience with NetSuite, FloQast, or similar ERP/close tools.
Exposure to intercompany transactions or transfer pricing.
Experience with external audits.
Perks & Benefits
Competitive total compensation package
L&D programs and Education subsidy for employees' growth and development
Various team building programs and company events
Wellness and meal allowances
Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependents
More that we love to tell you along the process!

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ramp's Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) team is looking for a senior investigator ready to shift from running cases to scaling the systems that run cases. You've built real depth in TM Alerts, AML Investigations, Complex Fraud, and EDD Reviews; you know what a good escalation looks like, where analysts get stuck, and where automation actually holds up in production versus just looks good in a demo. In this role, you'll spend most of your time partnering with Engineering and the Head of FCC Tooling to turn that judgment into scaled AI systems: testing model outputs, labeling and calibrating results, and making sure every automated decision point is well-documented and properly governed. You'll stay close enough to FCC's day-to-day workflows and will partake in some of them, but this is fundamentally a builder role.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Partner directly with Engineering and the Head of FCC Tooling on automation experimentation and AI initiatives across TM, sanctions, complex fraud, and EDD, moving prototypes from one-off calibration exercises to defined, repeatable evaluation processes.
- Design and run labeling and tagging workflows for model outputs (e.g., TM alert dispositions, sanctions/PEP hit review) building a structured, documented pipeline in place of today's ad hoc process
- Define and maintain test sets, scenario coverage, and evaluation frameworks for compliance AI/agent tools in partnership with the engineers building them
- Own the documentation and governance layer for every automated or AI-assisted decision point
- Work with the FCC team to understand current workflows to guide innovative solutions
- Recommend automation and AI adoption decisions with evidence and escalate control-posture or model-risk trade-offs to compliance leadership
WHAT YOU NEED
- 5+ years of financial services experience in compliance, AML, or related regulatory advisory roles, preferably in fintech
- Demonstrated senior-investigator experience across TM Alerts, AML Investigations, Complex Fraud, and EDD Reviews
- Direct experience testing, labeling, or evaluating AI/ML model outputs, or strong aptitude and demonstrated fast ramp-up if new to formal model evaluation
- Strong AI fluency and data analytics skills
- Comfort partnering with engineers day-to-day and ability to translate compliance judgment into build specs, test cases, and evaluation criteria engineers can act on
- Strong project management and documentation rigor
- Ability to scope an ambiguous automation problem, choose an approach, and deliver a durable outcome with minimal oversight
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Data science background
- Experience working with outsourced testing/QA partners on model tuning or signal collection
BENEFITS AVAILABLE TO ALL FULL-TIME RAMP EMPLOYEES (GLOBAL)
- Flexible PTO
- Centralized home-office equipment ordering
- Health and wellness stipend
- Budget for intra-office travel
- Weekly coffee stipend
UNITED STATES
- 100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you, with partial coverage for dependents
- One Medical annual membership
- 401(k), including employer match on contributions made while employed by Ramp
- Fertility HRA (up to $10,000 per year)
- Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay
- Pet insurance
- In-office perks: lunch, snacks, drinks, and more
- Relocation expense coverage to NYC or SF (if needed)
CANADA
- Group medical, dental, and vision coverage through Sun Life
- Life, AD&D, and disability coverage
- Fertility drug coverage (up to $4,000 lifetime)
- Group Retirement Plan with employer match (RRSP + DPSP)
- Parental leave: up to 16 weeks (birthing + bonding) or 8 weeks (bonding only) at 100% pay, with additional time available at reduced pay

Ava Labs is redefining the way people create value with Web3. Join us as we empower people to easily and freely digitize all the world’s assets on one open, programmable blockchain platform.
As the Finance Lead at Ava Labs, you will help manage and strengthen our financial operations within the rapidly evolving cryptocurrency industry. This is a hands-on role requiring a self-starter who takes ownership from identifying a need through delivering the result. You will work closely with the CFO and cross-functional teams to drive financial clarity, maintain efficient operations, and ensure our financial practices align with regulatory requirements and business goals. You will partner with the CFO on financial execution and process improvement, with opportunities to contribute to broader strategic initiatives as you grow in the role. Reports to the CFO.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead financial planning and forecasting across the business. Build and maintain financial models to support budgeting, scenario planning, and departmental decision-making.
- Hands-on Execution and Ownership: Personally drive finance projects from start to finish, including gathering and validating data, building models, investigating variances, and implementing solutions. Proactively identify what needs to be done and follow through to completion, independently resolving challenges and coordinating with others when their input or approval is needed.
- Operations and Compliance Oversight: Manage day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations. Oversee the handling of crypto and fiat transactions, ensuring efficient payments and settlements in close collaboration with the treasury team. Maintain and continuously refine existing systems for expense management, equity and compensation plans, travel arrangements, and accounts payable.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as a financial liaison among engineering, compliance, business development, legal, and accounting teams. Work with People Operations and Human Resources to align financial processes with workforce planning.
- Performance Management: Track and report key financial and operational metrics. Partner with the Head of Business Operations and Analytics to analyze trends and variances and flag business risks and opportunities.
- Innovation and Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to refine financial processes and systems as the business scales, and recommend changes to existing workflows. Support the CFO in identifying processes that can be automated, planning, and implementation of automation.

Experience in venture capital fundraising is a plus, although direct fundraising activities are not currently planned. Create visually engaging and digestible financial presentations that simplify complex information for diverse audiences, enhancing communication both within the company and with external stakeholders.
- Corporate Development and Strategy: Support the CFO on corporate development activity, including entity spinouts, divestitures, and asset sales, and help evaluate, structure, and execute potential investments, acquisitions, or similar strategic transactions as they arise.
- Tax Responsibilities: Support tax planning and compliance efforts, ensuring tax positions align with overall fiscal policy and legal requirements.
- Legal Agreement Review: Collaborate with the legal department to review the financial terms of contracts and agreements.
- Financial Communication: Communicate financial insights and risks clearly to the CFO and relevant stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Education: BA or BS in Finance or Accounting; an MBA from a top-tier school is preferred.
- Experience: Extensive experience in finance within the digital assets or fintech sector. Proven track record in cryptocurrency management, international payments, and trading platforms. Experience in investment banking, corporate development, and fast-paced startup environments is highly valued.

We believe that the interview process should be transparent, consistent, and enjoyable. We value your time and hope to complete the interview process in two to four weeks, if schedules allow. Through your interviews, you will meet a mix of individual contributors, managers, and senior leaders.
AI USE DURING THE INTERVIEW PROCESS
As an AI company, Coder embraces the use of AI tools, and we want to be transparent about our expectations as you navigate our interview process.
Not permitted: Using AI assistance during conversational interviews.
Permitted: Using AI tooling for take-home assessments. Please flag where and to what extent it was used in your take-home. Your submission will not be penalized for using AI as long as it is done honestly.
OUR USE OF AI IN HIRING
We use AI tools to help manage our recruitment process efficiently and fairly. Specifically:
- Ashby and Brainerr help us review inbound applications by surfacing candidates who best match the role requirements we've defined. This tool does not make hiring decisions; it helps our team prioritize which applications to review first.
- Granola takes notes during our interview calls so our team can focus on the conversation with you.
All hiring decisions are made by humans. Our team reviews applications, conducts interviews, and makes final selections. AI tools assist us but never replace human judgment, and these practices are conducted in compliance with applicable data protection, AI governance, and labor laws. Your data is not used to train AI models.
In accordance with New York City Local Law 144, an independent bias audit has been conducted on "Automated Employment Decision Tools"; results are available for Ashby https://www.ashbyhq.com/downloadables/ashby-bias-audit-08-2024.pdf.
If you're applying for a role at Coder and have questions about how we use AI in our process, or if you'd like to request information about the data we collect, please contact careers@coder.com.
