About Somnia:
SOMNIA is the Agentic Chain - a hyper-performance L1 operating at an order of magnitude faster than existing networks. We empower builders and traders to create real-time, autonomous, and fully decentralized products, powered by agents, that were previously impossible and cannot be built anywhere else. It’s where the future of Web3 protocols will be built, so we’re facilitating a new wave of on-chain applications from DEX to Prediction Protocols and much, much more.
Somnia is being developed by Somnia Foundation backed by Improbable https://www.improbable.io/, a British tech Unicorn +++ that has been at the forefront of building virtual worlds for over a decade. Somnia received initial funding from MSquared https://www.msquared.io/, which raised $150 million https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20220407005101/en/Improbable-Raises-US150m-to-Establish-M%C2%B2-MSquared-a-Metaverse-Network-and-Ecosystem-Powered-by-Its-Morpheus-Technology from a16z crypto, SoftBank, Mirana Ventures, CMT Digital, and SIG.
About the Role:
DreamDEX makes a hard claim: CEX execution without DEX custody. A fully on-chain CLOB with sub-10ms, zero trading fees, self-custody and transparent rules, competing head-on with Hyperliquid, Lighter and the large centralised exchanges.
An exchange wins or dies on liquidity, and early liquidity comes from relationships. Market makers must sign and quote tight. Builders must route flow to us. Institutions must trust a new venue with size. You will own those relationships.
You'll run business development for dreamDEX and carry the wider Somnia story (the L1, Somnia Agents, Prophecy) into institutional conversations. You'll work directly with the GTM leads and core team, with a mandate to source, structure and close the deals that put depth on the book and volume through it. We measure every deal by the liquidity, volume and TVL it produces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the market maker pipeline: source, pitch, negotiate and onboard MMs, from DeFi-native firms early on to an anchor tier 1 relationship, structuring deals across CLOB rewards, fee arrangements and liquidity commitments
- Get DreamDEX integrated with the major spot and cross-chain aggregators, then manage those relationships so we keep winning flow on price
- Build and activate the institutional pipeline: trading firms, funds, family offices, OTC desks, prime brokers and custodians, with white-glove onboarding for qualified institutions
- Build an active Builder pipeline: Trading terminals, AI strategies and native apps to drive users and volume to the Dex.
- Close liquidity deals that grow TVL: institutional LPs, protocol and DAO treasuries, and vault operators
- Land distribution partnerships that feed the exchange: wallets, perp aggregators and bridges
- Support broader Somnia BD where your network applies: ecosystem projects, stablecoin partners and treasury deals on the L1
- Feed market intelligence back to product: you hear first what MMs and institutions need (RFQ flow, reporting, credit arrangements, API features) and help shape the roadmap
- Represent DreamDEX and Somnia at conferences and in the rooms where these deals get done
Requirements:
Must Have
- Business development experience at a crypto exchange (CEX, perp DEX or spot DEX) covering market makers, institutional clients or listings
- A real network across institutions in crypto and/or TradFi: trading firms, market makers, funds, prime brokers and OTC desks. You open doors on day one rather than building a list from scratch
- Closed deals with measurable impact on volume, liquidity or TVL, and the ability to walk us through the numbers
- A working understanding of exchange mechanics: order books, spreads and depth, perps and margin, liquidations, MM economics and incentive design
- Ability to run a full deal cycle alone, from sourcing through structuring and negotiation to post-signature relationship management
- Comfort operating early in a venue's life, when you are selling the roadmap as much as the product
Nice to Have
- TradFi background in prime brokerage, electronic trading or institutional sales
- Existing relationships with DEX aggregators, wallets, custodians or vault operators
- Experience taking a new venue through cold start; you have solved the empty order book problem before
- Experience structuring token or incentive-based deals
- Working knowledge of DeFi: CLOB DEXs, vaults, stablecoins and yield products
- Experience selling to DAOs and protocol treasuries
Why Join Somnia?
Design The Future: Join Somnia to work remotely with a global team, earn competitive compensation with token incentives, and help build the future of Web3 at a company where your impact truly matters.
First of its Kind: Make Somnia famous as the only hyperspeed L1 with native AI inference.
High Stakes: Influence a brand targeting a $1M+ launch budget in the 2026 peak-fragility market.
Incentives: Competitive salary + tokens.

About the role
We're a crypto-native group of companies spanning market making, liquidity provision, on-chain trading infrastructure, and software development. We're expanding our accounting and nance team, and this person will work directly with the Head of Finance as a core part of that build out. You'll own the monthly close across multiple entities, keep our crypto subledgers accurate, handle billing and revenue tracking, and support compliance, tax and legal.
What you'll do
• Run the monthly close for several entities in QuickBooks Online, including bank and exchange reconciliations, journal entries, intercompany due to/due from tie-outs, and eliminations for the consolidated package.
• Maintain our crypto subledgers, including importing and validating exchange and on-chain transaction data and reconciling balances back to source.
• Reconcile trading and liquidity activity across CEX accounts, perp venues like Hyperliquid, and DeFi LP positions on Solana and EVM chains, and produce P&L and rollforward schedules.
• Set up and maintain charts of accounts for new entities and business lines as they launch.
• Prepare monthly retainer and revenue share invoices, and maintain the Excel trackers behind them (tiered fee logic, per-client billing bases).
• Support entity structuring work across the group, including intercompany loans, capital contributions and distributions, and the accounting for related party transactions.
• Help prepare annual filings and tax workpapers (BVI financial returns, federal tax memos, and supporting schedules for our outside CPA firm).
• Assemble KYB packages, member and manager registers, and other documentation for banks, brokers and institutional partners.
• Help maintain AML/OFAC program documentation and coordinate responses to regulatory and law enforcement records requests.
• Support HR and payroll ops in Rippling, including deduction setups, payroll corrections and contractor tracking.
• Build and maintain Excel and Google Sheets models: amortization schedules, loan workbooks, portfolio trackers and deal models.
What we're looking for
• Ideally 5+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in crypto or digital assets.
• CPA, or actively working toward it.
• Real familiarity with digital asset accounting. You understand wallets, token transfers, swaps and perps, and you know how they should be accounted for.
• A working understanding of DeFi, including liquidity pools, AMMs, lending protocols and staking, and how to account for each of them. • Hands-on experience with QBO and at least one crypto subledger.
• Strong Excel skills. INDEX/MATCH, dropdown-driven models and clean reconciliation skills.
• Comfort with multi-entity and intercompany accounting, including related party considerations under GAAP.
• Good judgment on when an issue needs to be escalated and the ability to communicate it clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
Nice to have
• Experience with crypto subledger platforms (TRES, Koinly and Breezing).
• Experience with entity structuring, including multi-entity setups, intercompany arrangements and offshore entities.
• Exposure to BVI or other offshore entity reporting.
• Some scripting ability (Python, Apps Script) for cleaning and transforming transaction exports.
• Experience with Rippling or another EOR/payroll platform.
Why join
You'll work directly with leadership and the Head of Finance, with real ownership over the processes you run. Our processes are established, and you'll be trusted to own them, improve them where it makes sense, and take on challenging problems across a fast-moving group of companies.

What you’ll be part of
Garner is on a mission to transform the U.S. healthcare system — and we’re the only proven player doing exactly that. We partner with employers to redesign how healthcare works: applying 550+ proprietary clinical metrics across 80+ specialties to a dataset of 320M+ patients to identify the best-performing doctors, then using compelling incentives to steer members to the care that helps them get healthier, faster.
The result is a rare “win win” — better care and lower costs for both members and employers. In just five years, our work has helped over 2.5 million people access higher-quality care and saved $1B in healthcare costs. We recently raised our Series E and have doubled five years running. If you've ever wanted your work to solve a problem that touches every person in this country, this is the opportunity to do exactly that. An overview of this role
Data Products integrates GitLab and third-party SDLC data, and builds the dashboards, APIs, and data products that turn it into trusted, interoperable intelligence for customers and internal teams.
This is a 0 to 1 team and we are hiring for a foundational engineering role. That means you bring technical leadership through ambiguity, helping figure out what to build, making the foundational design decisions, and keeping delivery moving while the picture is still forming. You own the full lifecycle of what ships and stand behind it.
What you'll bring
Proven ability to influence as a Staff owning product or platform systems end to end across multiple engineering and product teams.
High agency, i.e finds the owner, clarifies the path, makes the call, and keeps pushing until the work lands.
Force multiplier and raise the people and the codebase around them
Deep full-stack expertise, including strong proficiency in
Go, Ruby
and
Node
.
Depth in at least one of analytics and metrics platforms, graph data systems, CDC and warehouse integration.
Hands-on experience building production AI-powered tool orchestration.
Experience operating multi-tenant systems across SaaS and self-managed deployment.
Direct communicator who builds alignment across teams.
Bias to write things down and make reasoning legible.
What you'll own
Architect how GitLab and third-party data is ingested, modeled, and synced into the knowledge graph as a near-real-time graph of the development ecosystem.
Lead integration with external systems for business context (Jira, observability tools, Zendesk, ServiceNow), indexed into the graph.
Architect the Data Marketplace so customers consume GitLab data through Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery with no engineering dependencies.
Publish GitLab observability as OpenTelemetry and broker the data-sharing APIs.
Define operational readiness for everything the team ships across GitLab.com, Dedicated, and Self-Managed.
Translate an ambiguous 0 to 1 problem space into concrete, iterable roadmaps in partnership with Product, Design, and the graph backend team.
Resolve cross-team dependencies across graph backend, AI Platform, and Infrastructure without escalating everything upward.
Mentor senior and intermediate engineers through design reviews, pairing, and code review.
Create organizational leverage through speed. You identify systemic bottlenecks, simplify processes, and design systems that dramatically improve execution velocity.
About the team
Data Products work across three surfaces:
Dashboard and Reporting Framework
Builds AI-native dashboard components so customers and internal teams can see engineering health and GitLab's impact across DORA, VSA, AI Impact, SDLC trends, security, and quality, and launch their own custom dashboards on the same framework.
Internal Ingestion
Ingests third-party data into the GitLab and power tools like Knowledge Graph, building connectors so that signals from systems like Jira, Zendesk, ServiceNow, and observability tools become one queryable, near-real-time graph of the developer ecosystem.
External Ingestion
External makes GitLab and Knowledge Graph data consumable outside the product, through marketplace listings, data-sharing APIs and SDKs, and co-branded partner products.
We are a new team in a highly ambiguous, high-impact space, and we need engineers who can create clarity while building, make practical tradeoffs, unblock cross-team dependencies, and keep pushing until meaningful customer value lands.
