With 20 offices across six continents and London as our HQ, we’re shaping the future of fintech – and we’re just getting started.
The Role
As part of Checkout.com’s #NextGen Early Careers Program, we are looking for an ambitious Finance Analyst Apprentice to join our fast-paced EU Finance department. Reporting directly to the Regional Finance Director, you will work alongside experienced professionals, gain hands-on experience, and join a global community with technical training, mentorship, and regular networking opportunities to accelerate your growth.
Through a structured three-year program, you will balance real team deliverables with study towards your ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualification, dedicating 20% of your time (around six hours per week) to your professional studies. Each placement will be supported by a dedicated Rotation Manager alongside guidance from senior Finance leadership.
You will gain broad exposure across six core finance pillars: Financial Control and Revenue & Billing in year one; Tax and Treasury in year two; and Strategic Finance and Finance Transformation in year three. Depending on business and ACCA requirements, you may also gain exposure to adjacent areas such as Product Control, Procurement, or Internal Audit.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Support accurate, timely finance operations across your rotations, contributing to processes such as month-end close, reconciliations, journals and variance analysis.
- Help teams deliver invoicing, settlement, revenue recognition, tax compliance, cash management, budgeting and reporting activities.
- Prepare and review information carefully, including supporting audit, compliance and management reporting requirements.
- Work with colleagues across Finance to respond to queries, share information and deliver tasks to agreed deadlines.
- Look for practical ways to improve processes, documentation and the use of finance systems and data.
- Apply what you learn through ACCA study to real finance work, building technical, analytical and communication skills over time.
Eligibility Requirements
This role is offered as a government-funded Level 7 ACCA apprenticeship. Appointment is conditional on the successful candidate meeting the government’s apprenticeship funding and eligibility requirements at the start of training, as confirmed by our approved training provider. Under current England funding rules, Level 7 funding is generally available to applicants aged 16–21, with limited exceptions for eligible applicants aged 22–24 who have an EHCP or have been, or are, in care.
This role is offered as an early-careers opportunity and we are not able to offer this role on a privately funded basis. Further information about the Apprenticeship funding can be found here.
- Academic Qualifications: You will have either:
- A degree qualification
OR
- You have completed a Level 4 AAT qualification before the September start date
+ 2 A Levels (or equivalent) and 3 GCSEs including a pass in English and Maths
Visa sponsorship: We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
What We’re Looking For
- Academic Ambition: You are eager to begin your journey toward becoming a Chartered Accountant via the ACCA pathway.
- Analytical Mindset: You have a natural comfort with numbers and a high attention to detail.
- Resilience: The ability to work toward tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth work environment.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets. Any prior exposure to accounting systems (like Workday) is a huge plus, but not a dealbreaker—we will train you!
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a "team player" attitude.
- Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with finance systems such as Workday is helpful, but not essential.

As MinIO’s regional marketing lead, you will serve as our primary voice in a rapidly growing AI infrastructure market driven by sovereign AI, AI factory buildouts, and regulated industries.
What You Will Do
Field Marketing
Turn global campaigns and launches into localized, account-based programs: executive dinners, technical workshops, roundtables, and roadshows that move mid- and late-funnel deals forward.

Tech Alliance Partner Events
Partner with Corporate Alliance Marketing to execute joint programs with key tech partners (e.g., NVIDIA, Databricks, HUMAIN, Datadog), providing regional expertise and market insights.
Collaborate with partners’ regional marketing teams on local events, joint demonstrations, and campaigns targeting shared customers.
Identify EMEA-specific joint use cases and target segments, including sovereign AI, regulated industries, and AI factory buildouts.
Measurement & Impact
Marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline by program type
Lead generation volume and conversion rates by channel and region
Deal registration growth and partner-sourced revenue
Event ROI (cost per opportunity, audience acquisition, post-event engagement)
Your Skills and Experience
10+ years of B2B marketing experience, including 5+ years leading field, partner, or event marketing in EMEA for infrastructure, cloud, data, or storage software.
Proven track record of translating global strategy into regional execution and results within a matrixed organization.
Hands-on channel and alliance experience executing joint demand generation programs that deliver measurable pipeline.
Deep familiarity with EMEA resellers, distributors, and systems integrators (e.g., Computacenter, SVA, Fujitsu), including their marketing planning and budget cycles.
Analytical mindset with experience building performance dashboards, evaluating data, and optimizing budget allocation based on performance.
Strong operational knowledge of EMEA regional nuances, including buyer behavior, partner routes to market, and compliance standards such as GDPR.
Willingness to travel up to 25% across the region.

Provectus is an AI consultancy founded in 2010 and led by its founders. As an AWS Premier Partner and an Anthropic Preferred Partner, we help Financial Services & Insurance and Healthcare & Life Sciences companies design, build, and operate production AI systems. With offices across North America, LATAM, and EMEA, we work with clients worldwide.
We are hiring an Account Executive to turn incoming enterprise leads into signed consulting engagements. Clients buy multi-month consulting engagements. You won't build pipeline from scratch. Anthropic and AWS share qualified enterprise leads with us.
Your job has four parts:
Qualify those leads quickly.
Run discovery with buyers at banks, insurers and life sciences companies.
Scope the work with our architects.
Close.
What you'll do:
Pick up new leads as they arrive, decide which to pursue, and be able to explain why.
Run discovery calls with business and technology leaders. Map their process, data, regulatory constraints, budget and decision path.
Work with delivery leads and architects to scope proposals and SOWs that we can deliver. You are selling consulting engagements, not software licenses.
Negotiate and close to a signed SOW, with the Chief Commercial Officer joining larger deals.
Run the full sales cycle: discovery, solution scoping, proposal, negotiation, close.
Translate Anthropic's product roadmap and partnership incentives into the client propositions.
Keep Anthropic and AWS partner reps informed on the leads they share, and take part in joint pipeline reviews.
Keep the CRM current and forecast your deals accurately.
Bring buyer objections and patterns from each industry back to leadership and marketing.
Travel for client meetings, up to 30% of your time.
What You Need:
2+ years in a client-facing commercial role in a consulting or IT services firm where you closed deals yourself, such as account executive, account manager, or consultant who owned client sales. Be ready to share the specifics: what you closed, at what size, and how long each deal took.
OR experience with banks, insurers, or pharma/biotech companies in one of these roles: selling services or technology to them (including smaller deals you closed yourself or larger deals where you supported the lead); working on client projects at a consulting firm, including proposals or scoping; or working inside one of these companies on projects where you helped evaluate and select outside vendors.
Working knowledge of Financial Services (banking, insurance, capital markets) or Life Sciences (pharma, biotech). You have worked in the industry or sold into it, and you can discuss a buyer's process and regulatory constraints in their terms.
Experience selling services engagements or complex B2B deals with several stakeholders.
Clear written and spoken communication with director-, VP- and C-level buyers.
Comfort handling a steady volume of leads and choosing where to spend your time.
Strong plus:
Experience selling AI/ML, data or cloud services.
Experience working partner-referred leads from Anthropic, AWS, GCP or Azure.
Why this role is worth your time:
Leads arrive every day, so your time goes into closing rather than prospecting.
You learn enterprise AI consulting sales in two regulated industries.
You close with support: our architects scope the work with you, and the Chief Commercial Officer joins larger negotiations.
The delivery team can execute what you sell: 350+ people, 150+ certified architects, and 100+ customers in production.
Work at the intersection of two AI partnerships: Anthropic and AWS.
High-impact role with direct visibility to leadership.
Compensation and benefits:
Base $90–120K + commission, OTE range $140–170K.
The salary range is determined through interviews and a review of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, and alignment with market data.
B2B contract model or full-time model.
Unlimited vacation policy.
Generous health, vision, and dental insurance, and life insurance.
401(k) matching plan.
Our process:
A 30/45-minute call with our recruiter.
An interview with the AE about a deal you closed.
An interview with the Chief Commercial Officer.
An interview with the CEO.

Finom is a European tech startup headquartered in Amsterdam, and we’re on a journey towards revolutionizing the financial landscape for entrepreneurs worldwide. Our mission is to develop an all-in-one financial B2B solution that integrates banking functions, accounting, financial management, and invoicing into a seamless, mobile-first platform.
We recently closed a
€115 million Series C equity round
(around $133 million), bringing our total funding to approximately $346 million. This significant investment follows a $105 million growth funding round from General Catalyst, a long-term backer since 2021 known for supporting companies like Airbnb, HubSpot, KAYAK, and Stripe.
Finom's platform goes beyond traditional banking, offering invoicing and a growing suite of features, including AI-enabled accounting, aiming to simplify financial management for entrepreneurs. We're actively expanding our reach across key EU markets like Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain.
At Finom, we’re not just redefining the entrepreneurial experience — we’re empowering our employees to make a real difference. Your work matters, and your impact extends far beyond product metrics. We nurture innovation and an inspiring work environment where bold ideas thrive, prioritizing thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and our business as a whole.
Maintaining our start-up spirit, we prioritize thorough research, swift implementation of solutions, and ensuring that every effort we make benefits our users, employees, partners, and, of course, our business.
About the Role
Finom is hiring its first
Team Lead of MLROs,
who will also be our MLRO and Head of Branch in Portugal. You report to the Head of FinCrime Compliance and wear two hats:
MLRO and Head of Branch, Portugal: you represent Finom before the Bank of Portugal and other Portuguese authorities, and you build our local AML framework.
Team Lead of MLROs: you lead the MLROs and Deputy MLROs across our EU branches and shape how they work as one team.
Important
Finom stands against the "Compliance Says No" mentality. We want someone who empowers the business instead of limiting it, challenges the status quo and finds non-standard solutions. You are detail-oriented, critical and analytical, and result-driven.
As a team lead you also grow people: you give clear, honest feedback, build trust with colleagues in different countries, and explain your ideas simply and practically to people outside compliance.
What you should know before joining
This is a
build-and-lead role
, not a run-the-existing-setup role. Three challenges define it:
You start from scratch in Portugal.
We have a draft setup, but we need someone to align our group policies with the local Portuguese requirements and to build the rest. That includes setting up regulatory reporting in Portugal. Nobody will hand you a plan, so we expect you to decide what to do and move.
You
lead peers
, not just managers of their own country. Each MLRO is responsible for the same standards in their own country. We want a leader who constantly challenges the status quo and looks for optimization of current processes, not someone who only runs their own country independently.
You work across several countries at once. You need
strong EU regulatory knowledge
and the ability to keep processes homogeneous across countries, while respecting local requirements.
Your responsibilities as MLRO Portugal
Represent Finom before the Bank of Portugal on AML matters, and before other relevant Portuguese authorities as Head of Branch.
Set up the Portuguese AML framework: adapt our group policy draft to Portuguese law and put local processes in place.
Own the CDD and Transaction Monitoring policies and procedures in Portugal.
Define the SAR reporting requirements in Portugal.
Define the requirements for reporting to Portuguese authorities on integrity and non-integrity matters, and implement them with the Regulatory Reporting function.
Bring Portugal-specific insight on financial crime typologies (fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion) and work with the Risk Management team to turn it into rules, scenarios and controls for Finom's FinCrime Risk Engine.
Act as the second-line decision-maker on complex, high-risk cases escalated by the first line.
Contribute to the Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment cycle and Product Risk Approvals as required.
Give the first line practical guidance on CDD and TM, maintain procedures and manuals for 2LOD escalations and Risk Management, and run internal AML training.
Your responsibilities as Team Lead
Lead, coach and develop the MLROs and Deputy MLROs in our EU branches
Set one standard for how MLROs work: shared playbooks, templates, escalation criteria, SAR decision quality and regulator communication.
Challenge the team and drive improvements that benefit the whole group, not just one country.
Be the main contact for Product, Operations, Regulatory Compliance, Regulatory Reporting and other functions on behalf of the MLRO network.
Own the MLRO-related KRIs and report on them to the Management Board Risk Committee.
Coordinate regulatory inspections, authority requests and the resulting remediation actions.
Must-haves
Have the right to work in Portugal, and
be a native Portuguese speaker
At least 4 years in the second line of defence at a regulated payment, e-money or banking institution, including
at least 2 years as MLRO or Deputy MLRO for Portugueses Branches
At least 2 years of people management experience
Excellent knowledge of
Portuguese AML legislation
and a thorough understanding of the EU AML, Sanctions and Risk Management framework
Proven direct experience with regulators, including the Bank of Portugal
A proactive, start-up mindset: you spot issues, bring in the right stakeholders and drive solutions without waiting to be told
Nice to have - Experience with data analytics tools, databases and AI tools.
