About Tavily
We're building the search engine for AI agents. Our API powers agentic applications and real-time reasoning by connecting LLMs to high-quality, trustworthy web content. We work with some of the most innovative teams in AI — from startups shaping the ecosystem to enterprises deploying AI at scale.
The Team
Forward Deployed Engineering owns how Tavily shows up technically in the field. The team sits at the intersection of customers, Product, Engineering, Sales, Partnerships, and Customer Success.
The Enterprise FDE motion focuses on Tavily’s highest-value customers and strategic enterprise opportunities — from technical discovery and solution design through proof of concept, production rollout, adoption, and expansion.
The role
This is a full-time, on-site role based in our New York office.
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, Enterprise, you’ll work directly with Tavily’s largest and most strategic customers to design, prototype, and deploy production-grade AI systems powered by Tavily’s API. You’ll also serve as a critical bridge between the field and our Product and Engineering teams, translating enterprise needs into roadmap signal.
Your responsibilities will include:
Work directly with enterprise customers to understand their AI use cases, technical architecture, success criteria, and deployment requirements.
Lead technical discovery and solution design during pre-sales and expansion conversations.

Partner with customer engineering, data, product, and AI teams to move use cases from prototype to production.
Monitor customer API usage patterns and recommend improvements to increase reliability, latency, coverage, and overall value.
Translate recurring customer needs, blockers, and technical patterns into clear product and roadmap input.
Create reusable enterprise assets, including reference architectures, integration templates, deployment guides, demo environments, and technical documentation.
Represent Tavily in customer architecture reviews, executive technical conversations, implementation check-ins, and post-deployment reviews.
Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to drive adoption, retention, and expansion across strategic accounts.
We expect you to have:
5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in a customer-facing technical role such as Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Technical Consultant.
Strong hands-on engineering ability, especially with Python, APIs, backend systems, and production software development.
Experience building with LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, agent architectures, context engineering, and modern AI application stacks.
Experience working with enterprise customers, including technical discovery, POCs, solution design, stakeholder management, and production rollout.
Strong understanding of how enterprises evaluate, deploy, secure, and scale AI systems.
Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and executive stakeholders, including engineering leaders, product teams, AI teams, and technical decision-makers.
High autonomy, strong ownership, and comfort operating in a fast-moving startup environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn complex technical concepts into clear recommendations.
Based in New York City, or willing to relocate.
It will be an added bonus if you have:
Experience working with major agent or LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, OpenAI Agents SDK, or CrewAI.
Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, Qdrant, or similar systems.
Experience with enterprise AI use cases in financial services, legal, consulting, enterprise SaaS, sales, marketing, or internal knowledge management.
Track record helping large customers move from POC to production.
Experience building internal tools, technical playbooks, demos, or reusable customer-facing assets.
Prior experience at a high-growth AI infrastructure, developer tools, or enterprise SaaS company.

About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a newly forming team that will own one of the most specialised and business-critical domains in our technology landscape - Game Engine.
This role sits at the intersection of engineering, game mathematics, platform, and compliance. You’ll work on the tools, frameworks, and services that enable our mathematicians and game teams to build, validate, run, and monitor game logic in production.
This position is about deep ownership of a very specific technical domain: game engines, mathematical packages, simulation data, RTP monitoring, round details, and integrations with games developed both internally and by external studios.
You’ll be part of a, experienced Core team with a high level of responsibility. The impact of this work is direct: incorrect game logic, missing round details, or inaccurate RTP monitoring can affect game delivery timelines, business performance, and regulatory readiness.
If you enjoy working close to complex domain logic, reviewing technical implementations, understanding how games work under the hood, and owning systems where precision matters - this role will feel like home.
Key Responsibilities
- Own, maintain, and evolve Playson’s Game Engine.
- Work on internal frameworks and libraries used by mathematicians to implement game logic and mathematical packages.
- Review and validate code written by mathematicians, ensuring quality, correctness, maintainability, and proper usage of internal frameworks.
- Contribute to the development and support of game engines used to run mathematical logic within our platform.
- Support integrations with external game studios by helping build wrappers and bridges between third-party game implementations and Playson’s platform.
- Work with data structures and protocols that connect game logic with frontend and backend systems.
- Contribute to RTP monitoring processes, including validation of production transaction data against simulation data and expected mathematical behaviour.
- Support and evolve tools used for mathematical review, simulations, data files, monitoring, and alerting.
- Implement and maintain round details logic required for regulated markets, ensuring that detailed game round information can be correctly provided to partners and regulators.
- Collaborate closely with mathematicians, backend engineers, platform teams, compliance stakeholders, and product representatives.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to ensure a high engineering standard across the Game Engine domain.
- Investigate issues related to game logic, mathematical validation, monitoring, and engine behaviour.
- Participate in minimal on-call responsibilities related to the systems owned by the team, mainly around monitoring, alerts, and domain-specific incidents.
- Take ownership of a highly specialised area where quality, accuracy, and attention to detail are essential.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience, ideally in backend, game engine, gaming, gambling, betting, or simulation-heavy environments.
- Strong background in C++ and experience working with legacy C++ systems.
- Good understanding of software architecture, code quality, testing, debugging, and maintainability.
- Experience with mathematical models, probability-based systems, simulations, random generators, or RTP-related logic.
- Experience reviewing complex code and providing clear technical feedback.
- Ability to understand domain-specific logic and work with technical systems where business rules, mathematics, and engineering are closely connected.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with complex, non-standard technical challenges.
- Experience working with production systems where reliability, accuracy, and correctness are critical.
- Understanding of backend systems, APIs, data flows, and service-to-service communication.
- Ability to collaborate closely with non-engineering technical experts, especially mathematicians or domain specialists.
- Strong ownership mindset and willingness to become a key expert in a narrow but highly important technical domain.
- Product-oriented thinking, with an understanding that games are the core product and engineering decisions directly affect delivery, quality, and compliance.
- Experience in iGaming, gambling, betting, game development, or casino games.
- English communication skills sufficient for working in an international environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Node.js/TypeScript.
- Understanding of regulated markets and compliance requirements in iGaming.
- Experience with ClickHouse or other analytical/columnar databases.
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, and production diagnostics.
- Experience with AI-assisted code review or automated validation tools.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Kafka, gRPC, Kubernetes, or AWS.
- Experience integrating third-party games, external studio products, or wrapper-based solutions.
- Ukrainian language skills would be a plus.
What We Offer
- Competitive Salary
- Quarterly Bonuses
- Unlimited Paid Time Off
- Unlimited Paid Sick Leave
- Remote & Flexible Working
- Private Medical Insurance
- Financial Support for Life Events
- Professional Development Budget
- International Exposure
- Regular Company Events

You’re an excellent self-starter with a track record of seamless execution on complex programs with minimal guidance
You've built and significantly improved program management practices, frameworks, or ways of working at a previous company
Excellent communicator who can flex between an exec room and a cross-functional working group, adapting style and depth to the audience
Experience mentoring or developing others, whether direct reports or peers - you make the people around you better

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
As an Enterprise Account Executive for Digital Native Business based in Tokyo, you'll drive the adoption of safe, frontier AI technology across Japan's fastest-moving technology companies. This is a greenfield, new business role: you'll build your territory from the ground up, owning the full sales cycle from first outbound touch to close across Japan's internet services, gaming, e-commerce, SaaS, fintech, and media companies. You'll work directly with founders, technical leaders, and product teams to help them build with Anthropic's AI as a core part of their products and operations.
Key responsibilities
Own and exceed revenue targets by winning net-new logos across Japan's digital native companies, including internet services, gaming, e-commerce, SaaS, fintech, and media
Build a greenfield territory from scratch: develop your own account list, generate pipeline through self-sourced outbound prospecting, and create repeatable plays for landing new accounts
Run fast, consultative sales cycles with founders, CTOs, CPOs, VPs of Engineering, and Heads of AI, positioning Claude as the foundation for AI-powered products and competitive differentiation
Land new accounts quickly and set them up for expansion, working closely with technical buyers and developer teams who evaluate hands-on
Orchestrate internal teams (Product, Engineering, Applied AI, Partnerships) to win technical evaluations and accelerate time to production for customers building on our models
Preferred qualifications
8+ years of sales experience in Japan with a clear track record as a hunter: consistently winning net-new logos and generating the majority of your own pipeline through outbound prospecting
Experience selling to digital native, internet, or high-growth technology companies, and comfort engaging technical buyers such as engineering and product leaders, not just business stakeholders
A track record of opening greenfield territories or segments with little existing brand presence, building pipeline and closing revenue from zero
Proven experience exceeding revenue targets driven primarily by new business, with the ability to manage high-velocity cycles alongside larger strategic deals
Strong commercial instincts for usage-based and consumption models, and the ability to connect product adoption to revenue growth
A knack for bringing order to chaos and an enthusiastic "roll up your sleeves" mentality. You are a true team player who thrives in ambiguous, startup-like environments
A strategic, analytical approach to territory and account prioritization combined with high-energy, persistent execution
A passion for and/or experience with advanced AI systems. You feel strongly about ensuring frontier AI systems are developed safely and responsibly for broad benefit
Excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English
What we offer
Competitive base salary and commission structure commensurate with experience
Equity participation
Comprehensive benefits package
Hybrid work model with flexibility
Access to cutting-edge AI technology and world-class research team
Logistics

A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience

Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
For roles performing work in California:
We will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with arrest or conviction records or criminal histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws, including the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, the City of Los Angeles’ Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, and the California Fair Chance Act.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.
Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users.
Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development.
We’re a diverse and talented team that values craft, velocity, and user experience. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the intelligent cloud and empower developers everywhere, we’d love to hear from you.
APPLYING TO RENDER
We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team.
We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed.
Our interview process is unique to each role, and we value the candidate experience just as much as our customer experience. We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time.
In order to deliver Render to our users, we must first provide the best internal developer platform for engineers to move fast, confidently, reliably, and securely along paved paths with the right set of tools, observability and guardrails. As Engineering Manager for the newly formed Platform team, you’ll lead a growing group of talented engineers — both established team members and future hires — who are energized by the opportunity to build this space alongside you.
Together, you will modernize and bring Render's internal developer platform and shared production infrastructure (observability, CI/CD, developer environments, storage, and more) from good to great. Because the landscape we operate in is evolving rapidly, we build infrastructure that is modular and adaptable, able to support a product direction that is itself responding to a fast-moving market without over-indexing on any single bet. This team will have tremendous impact; unlike most infrastructure teams that build for internal consumers, our infrastructure is the product. Not only will you be enhancing the velocity and impact of your fellow Render engineers, but the 4.5 million developers using our platform as well.
This role blends strong technical leadership with product thinking: you’ll partner closely with other engineering teams as well as product managers to translate user needs into high-quality, scalable systems that developers rely on every day. You’ll be responsible for guiding technical direction, developing engineers, and ensuring the team ships meaningful improvements quickly while maintaining the high standards that define Render’s platform. The ideal candidate brings a strong engineering background, a deep sense of ownership, and a passion for building products that developers love.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and grow a team of platform engineers, supporting their development through mentorship, feedback, and clear technical guidance.
- Drive execution on key product initiatives from ideation through launch, balancing speed with high standards of reliability and quality.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement across engineering practices and team processes.
- Engage deeply in technical discussions, guiding system design decisions and helping the team navigate architectural tradeoffs.
- Stay up to date with relevant industry trends, emerging tools, and developer practices that will inform future team learning and opportunities for investment.
- Help the team break down complex problems into incremental milestones that deliver value quickly while supporting long-term platform evolution.
- Ensure teams maintain a strong understanding of the developer experience and reliability, security, and velocity impact of the features they build.
- Partner closely with other teams like Runtime, Security, and Product to understand needs, align priorities, and ensure delivery of impactful features and solutions through thoughtful technical solutions and product roadmaps.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 8+ years as an Engineer on an Infrastructure or similarly shaped team shipping products or features for other developers.
- 4+ years of experience managing people and developing engineers, including hiring, mentorship, and performance management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, product, and design.
- Strong technical background with the ability to engage deeply in system design, architecture, and engineering tradeoffs.
- Ability to translate engineering goals and user needs into roadmaps and shipped features.
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability for both team outcomes and long-term system health.
- Experience improving Reliability and/or Developer Experience through tooling, processes, and team practices.
- Deep experience with open source technologies supporting an internal platform tool or cluster, build & deployment systems, CI/CD, observability, and/or configuration management.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Background working on highly scalable distributed systems or infrastructure platforms.
- Experience on teams managing large fleets of developer environments, sandboxes, or testing ecosystems.
- Experience building platforms and/or products used directly by developers.
If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need.
BENEFITS
- 4 weeks of paid vacation.
- 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all parents to bond with a newly born, adopted, or fostered child. We will also work with you to create a supportive plan of return.
- Long-term disability, life insurance, and 401K plans.
- 100% employer-paid medical coverage and 99% employer-paid dental and vision coverage for you and a dependent. FSAs and HSAs are available as well.
- Monthly lifestyle stipend for wellness, mental health and therapy, hobbies, etc.
- Monthly cell phone and internet subsidy.
- Commuter benefits for Renders in the Bay Area, and home office stipends for remote Renders.
- Continuous learning benefits & related support.
