THE ROLE
We’re looking for an IT Operations Engineer to be the face of IT at Baseten: the person who makes technology just work for our team, in the office and remotely. You’ll own day-to-day support, office IT, and new-hire onboarding, and you’ll work alongside our IT Engineers, who design the controls and automation you’ll run and improve.
This is an on-site role based in San Francisco.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the go-to point of contact for hardware, software, and access issues across a macOS-first fleet, with some Windows.
- Give every new hire a great first day, from a ready-to-go laptop to working accounts, whether they’re in the office or remote.
- Run onboarding, role changes, and offboarding through our automated workflows, and catch the exceptions they don’t cover.
- Keep the office running smoothly: conference rooms and AV, network and Wi-Fi, printers, and walk-up support on office days.
- Support new office buildouts and plan workplace IT as we grow.
- Manage IT assets, and vendor relationships, including stock and shipping for remote teammates.
- Build a self-serve knowledge base and workflows that reduce ticket volume and help people help themselves.
- Find recurring friction and automate it within our AI ITSM (Serval) and existing tools, collaborating with IT Engineering on new integrations as needed
- Handle day-to-day administration of our core SaaS tools within delegated, scoped roles.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years in IT support or IT operations, ideally at a fast-growing company
- Hands-on experience supporting a macOS fleet end to end: troubleshooting login, FileVault, permission, and profile issues; enrolling devices and deploying apps and OS updates through an MDM (e.g. Kandji), including remote lock and wipe; and managing hardware through Apple Business Manager, AppleCare repairs, and reimaging for redeployment
- Hands-on experience administrating Google Workspace, Slack and Zoom
- Experience with conference room, AV, and office network setup and troubleshooting.
- Flexibility to support events in the evening may be occasionally required
- Experience with automation or scripting to streamline repetitive work.
- Excellent communication and a real care for the support experience.
- Strong organization across competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to be in our San Francisco office 5 days a week and lift standard IT equipment.
BENEFITS
- Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity
- (U.S. only) 100% coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and dependents
- Flexible PTO policy including company wide Winter Break (our offices are closed from Christmas Eve to New Year's Day!)
- Paid parental leave
- Fertility and family-building stipend through Carrot
- (U.S. only) Company-facilitated 401(k)
- Exposure to a variety of ML startups, offering unparalleled learning and networking opportunities.
Apply now to embark on a rewarding journey in shaping the future of AI! If you are a motivated individual with a passion for machine learning and a desire to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.
At Baseten, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. An overview of this role
GitLab's Security Risk function is responsible for reducing risk across the security division: third-party risk (TPRM), annual security risk assessments, quarterly risk reporting, and remediation of security findings. As a Senior Security Risk Engineer, you'll take ownership of risk identification, quantification, and remediation tracking across the business, and you'll be a driving force behind automating and modernizing how the team does this work using AI and scripting. Reporting to the Security Risk Manager, you will bring expertise on risk methodology, risk-based thinking, and AI-enablement.
In this role, you'll partner closely with Security, Legal, IT, Product, and Engineering to translate technical findings and vendor risk into business-relevant risk statements and risk treatments. You’ll help surface emerging risks, and report top risks to leadership.
Some examples of our projects:
Building and maintaining a risk register that translates technical vulnerabilities, control gaps, and third-party risk findings into quantified, business-relevant risk statements.
Driving cross-functional remediation of security findings and risk issues to closure, tracked against SLAs.
Driving automation and AI-enabled improvements for risk and GRC workflows so the team can spend less time on manual work and more time on high-value risk analysis and program maturity.
What you'll do
Own risk identification, analysis, and prioritization across third-party risk (TPRM), security risk assessments, and security findings, using an established risk framework (e.g., NIST RMF, ISO 31000, or NIST 800-39).
Translate technical vulnerabilities, control gaps, and risk findings into clear, quantified risk statements that non-security stakeholders and leadership can act on.
Drive remediation of findings and risk exceptions to closure, partnering with Engineering, IT, Product, and Legal, and escalating stalled or high-severity items.
Mature and maintain a risk register and quarterly reporting cadence that gives leadership clear visibility into open risk, remediation progress, and trends.
Own and mature AI risk management, including AI impact assessments, AI risk assessments, and risk treatments, to support ISO 42001 certification.
Design, develop, and implement key risk indicators and supporting metrics for top risks in the risk register.
Identify manual, repetitive steps in risk and TPRM workflows and personally build the automation, scripting, or AI-enabled tooling to remove them.
Contribute to the roadmap for the risk program, incorporating new frameworks, regulatory changes, and lessons learned from past assessments.
Monitor the internal and external risk landscape (new frameworks, threat trends, business changes) to identify and escalate emerging risks before they become findings.
What you'll bring
5+ years of experience in security risk management, working with security-centric risk management or compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST RMF, NIST 800-39, ISO 31000). Familiarity with AI governance frameworks (e.g., ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF) is a plus.
Experience designing and executing qualitative and quantitative risk analyses that translate technical risks into measurable business impact.
A track record of driving risk assessments, risk registers, and remediation efforts to closure across IT, Procurement, Internal Audit, Legal, Product, and Engineering, in a heavily regulated or multi-entity environment.
Experience interpreting technical control requirements and translating them for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated bias toward automation: you've personally built scripts, workflows, or AI-enabled tooling that reduced manual risk or GRC work, not just evaluated tools conceptually.
Comfort operating with ambiguity, managing multiple concurrent assessments, and reprioritizing under tight deadlines.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to translate security risks into business risks.
Strong understanding of cloud security, SaaS security models, and DevSecOps practices.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC) are preferred but not required.
About the team
The
Security Assurance
organization helps GitLab build and maintain trust by strengthening how we approach security, compliance, and risk across the company. The Security Risk team sits within that group and owns third-party risk (TPRM), security risk assessments, and remediation of security findings. The Security Risk Team performs thorough, collaborative, and efficient risk assessments as well as drive risk reduction so that GitLab can achieve its goals while maintaining a high level of security. Security Risk counterparts are Security Compliance, Security Governance and Security Enablement functions.

What the Role Is
Own the day-to-day operations of our Commercial Point, Ohio Fulfillment Center — front desk, facilities, supplies, vendor relationships, and workplace safety. This is a build role: the operating playbook doesn't exist yet — spend tracking, vendor terms, a furniture-request process — and you'll define them. You'll own real recurring budgets (kitchen, office supplies, engagement spend), partner on-site with the Safety Committee, and co-own culture programming across all three shifts with FC leadership.
This is a full-time, on-site role, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
, reporting to the General Manager, Fulfillment Operations.
About Pay
We pay competitive market rates.
Starting salary for this position is
$68,138 to $81,755 annually
Holidays Observed
The Fulfillment Center is closed on the following days for this shift in 2026:
New Year's Day
Memorial Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
New Years Day (2027)
All shifts receive
4 floating holidays
in addition to the holidays observed, so you can celebrate what matters to you the most, whenever that may be.
Who You Are
You've owned a recurring operating budget and vendor relationships
— you've tracked spend, negotiated directly with suppliers, and reported against a budget, not just placed reorders.
You build process where none exists
— you've created the tracker, the policy, the workflow, not just run one you were handed.
You're self-directed
— you catch what the building needs before someone flags it, and you close the loop without being chased.
You know the rhythm of a warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment environment
and move through it with confidence.
You're genuinely energized by building culture
— not just tolerating the "plan the events" part of the job.
You have strong written and verbal communication and thrive in a fast-paced, multi-shift environment.
You're proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) and comfortable with basic inventory/order-management tools.
You have 2+ years in office administration, facilities coordination, or operations.
You naturally reach for AI in your work — at Babylist, every team uses AI daily. You're already using it to move faster and improve your output, and you stay curious about what's coming next.
How You Will Make An Impact
Own the front desk and guest experience
— be the first point of contact for visitors, vendors, and scheduled guests, and keep reception clean, professional, and running smoothly.
Own supplies and vendor relationships end-to-end
— keep the kitchen and office-supply areas fully stocked, manage deliveries, restocks, and quality, and negotiate terms directly with suppliers.
Own the budgets
— track and report monthly on the kitchen and office-supply budgets (plus engagement and furniture spend as it comes online), staying within budget and keeping spend transparent.
Build the processes that don't exist yet
— spend tracking, a furniture-request policy, vendor terms — and document them so they outlast you.
Partner with the Safety Committee
as on-site support, reinforcing a culture of safety and compliance across the FC.
Co-own FC culture
— co-lead the "Fun Committee" with FC leadership (GM + HRBP) to plan events, recognition, and wellness, and keep the experience consistent across day, night, and weekend shifts.
Own internal comms
for the events calendar so every shift stays informed and engaged.
Why This Role
You're building the operational playbook for this FC from scratch — the spend tracking, vendor terms, and furniture process don't exist yet; you define them.
Real ownership from day one — your own budgets, your own vendor relationships, your own culture programming, not a support seat.
Your impact is felt daily, on every shift, in a building where a well-run workplace shows.

OUR STORY:
Every year millions of people are either filing their taxes in fear or giving up on their tax refund altogether. We're working on fixing that. Our intuitive app enables anyone, regardless of education or background, to file their taxes with newfound confidence.
Spread across Germany, Spain and the UK, the team at Taxfix Group with its brands Taxfix and Steuerbot, is a compassionate group of solution-finders. We speak our minds openly, and with over 400 professionals, including tax experts, developers, and IT security experts, we're rich in ideas and voices. The group has facilitated more than 3.5 billion euros in tax refunds for its customers since its founding in 2016.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Taxfix does not have a dedicated brand owner at group level today. We need someone who can set brand strategy for the group, hold the organisation to it, and personally run the work that brings it to life. This is not a strategist role with execution handed off to others. This is also not a job purely about ATL campaigns. You will cover a broad set of responsibilities in a hands on way, with a small team around you. You will have a very large amount of influence on the direction of our services and need to be comfortable working with product and marketing teams.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Brand strategy and positioning for the group across product, marketing, operations. Strategy is kept current as the market and the business change.
- Brand in the product, partnering with product and product marketing so brand shows up consistently in onboarding, in-product moments and lifecycle messaging.
- Product vision contributions including a brand perspective for roadmap and product strategy conversations.
- ATL strategy, planned and produced together with the in-house creative studio.
- End-to-end ATL campaigns, run autonomously from brief through concept, production, media and measurement.
- Brand research, initiated and run on your own initiative, so positioning and creative decisions rest on real customer and market data.
- Brand accountability, holding every team that touches the customer to our brand values, positioning and look & feel.
- Brand systems: The context, guidelines, examples that are consumed by AI agents by the rest of the company so they can be on-brand.
YOUR PROFILE
- You feel like the following applies to you: You have high standards and can switch off your ego, you have high agency, you followup & follow through, you are a self-starter, you improve yourself proactively, you want to learn, you are an excellent communicator across very diverse groups of people, you are analytical and can explain both your logic and your intuition. If most of these do not apply to you then you will not enjoy this role. If most do and you are not sure: Apply.
- 5+ years in brand, hands-on - you've made and run projects yourself, not just briefed people who did.
- A strong, current read on the market and category, with a record of turning that into decisions, built through real partnership with product and marketing as a peer
- German, native or fully fluent, comfortable working in English
- Built for a small team, self-directed, and you do a large share of the work yourself rather than only directing it.
- Direct and candid, with strong opinions loosely held, you say what you think, back it with reasoning, and change your mind when the evidence says so, without needing to be right
- You have interest in service design and how services provided by people and software come together in delightful user experiences.
- Sharp creative judgment and comfortable using AI across your workflow - research, drafting, production, with craft and taste always leading, never replaced by the tool; you know how AI is reshaping brand work and use it to get more out of a small team, not just to work faster
- A balance of rigor (data, measurement) with instinct, customer empathy and creative taste, earned somewhere you had to prove brand's value to product and performance teams, not just brand peers
WHY TAXFIX?

We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.
You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.
The Opportunity:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will focus on three core missions. One, you will help our users and prospects navigate their Grafana journey by engaging with and listening to them in order to provide them with appropriate resources and guidance. Two, with these learnings, you will partner with our Sales Team to connect with other influential people in these organizations to identify new business opportunities that are the pipeline for our company’s revenue goals by partnering proactively with our Sales Team. And three, you will develop valuable, transferable skills to help you achieve your career goals. By fulfilling our three core missions, you will contribute importantly to Grafana Labs’ community and business goals.
We understand that our commercial success is linked to our open source DNA and users’ success with our software. As such, we want team members who can effectively leverage this connection and help support the long-term health of our company.
In this role, you will balance reactive and proactive work, responding to inbound inquiries as well as outreaching to target accounts. You will need to know how to use AI as a tool to constantly improve your productivity.
This is a demanding and rewarding role. It is a fast-paced and challenging environment. While our company is growing sustainably, we still have a lot of building and improving to do. And we do this work together with our teammates from more than 15 different countries. We're looking for driven, humble, technically curious people who embrace a team-first attitude and demonstrate extreme ownership. This is a great team to join, whether you’re just starting your career or looking to pivot into the tech industry. You’ll have managers and teammates that care deeply about you as a professional and human, and you will learn more than you thought possible.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Build and maintain knowledge of our technology, competitors, open source ecosystem, and industry trends
Follow up on inbound leads effectively and efficiently
Use a multi-channel approach (email, social, calling) to proactively outreach to new leads within target accounts; our top SDRs are confident and effective on the phone
Use Salesforce and Grafana dashboards for lead and account management and research
Use research and data to prioritize and customize outreach to target prospects and accounts via email and LinkedIn

Open to feedback and coaching, always looking for ways to improve
Clear and concise written and verbal communication style
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize many tasks and demands
Willingness and ability to take on any task - no matter how small or big - with a focus on quality
Resourceful and proactive in an environment that is constantly evolving
Driven by purpose and by winning with a team-first attitude
Located in Switzerland
Bonus Points For:
Let’s be honest - interviewing is not easy. However, we want you to come prepared and succeed. When we interview, we’re trying to determine a couple of things:
Would you be successful if you were part of our team?
Will you love working here and be a positive influence on your fellow colleagues?
Will you grow professionally and personally during your time here?
We’re looking for people who are curious and passionate about technology, so make sure you invest some time in learning about Grafana Labs. Explore our community, the industry we operate in, what we offer, and how we set ourselves apart.
During your interview, you’ll be sharing stories about your current and past roles and experiences. The best way to frame this is with the CARR model: Context, Action, Results, Reflection. This allows you to succinctly share the experiences you’ve gained.
Remember, humility drives learning and we love working with people who are always trying to better themselves. Throughout our interview process, you will receive feedback, and usually directly in the interview. As you move through the interview process, make sure you listen to the feedback you receive and figure out how to incorporate the advice in the next step of the interview.

Communicate clearly and proactively with stakeholders across Supply Chain, Category, Store Operations, Finance, Product and other relevant functions.
Manage several priorities and initiatives simultaneously in a fast-moving environment while maintaining a high level of quality and follow-through.
Take a hands-on approach and be willing to move between strategic analysis, problem solving and operational execution as required.
