An overview of this role
We are hiring a Staff Product Security Architect to join our Security Platforms and Architecture organization at GitLab.
Rather than operating as a purely consultative body, Security Architecture at GitLab functions as a hands-on technical driver. Our mission is to embed proactive guidance directly into modern developer workflows and automated coding environments, embedding security standards into the software development process from the outset. We strive to enable teams to deliver secure, resilient software seamlessly while minimizing reliance on manual security gates.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with product engineering organizations, spearhead architectural strategy for critical capabilities, and serve as the primary Security Owner driving risk reduction for key entries within our risk management framework. Your daily work will span architectural design reviews, technical prototyping, and establishing scalable patterns that enable engineering teams to execute autonomously.
What you’ll do
Partner with engineering and product leadership across GitLab, developing enough context in their domains to anticipate security problems rather than react to them
Lead security architecture and design work for strategic initiatives, and provide direction to the cross-functional teams delivering them
Identify, assess, and prioritise systemic security risks, and act as Security Owner for high-priority items in the Product Security Risk Register, co-executing remediation with the teams who own the code
Codify recurring security decisions into reusable artifacts — guardrails, standards, design patterns, skills, and reference threat models — delivered into developer and AI coding tool workflows
Build proofs of concept and prototypes to unblock engineering teams and shorten the distance between a security requirement and a working implementation
Conduct security architecture reviews for large or strategic projects, and coordinate with Application Security so that review coverage is comprehensive and correctly prioritised
Threat model new and existing systems, and establish the patterns that let teams threat model their own work
Work with Security Research on proactive exploration of unknown risks in GitLab's architecture
Anticipate emerging security challenges and propose architectural responses before they reach implementation
Mentor security engineers across the division, and represent security architecture to engineering audiences
What you’ll bring
Depth in application security architecture, including authentication and authorization models, privilege escalation, multi-tenant isolation, and trust boundary analysis
Experience securing distributed systems, including service-to-service authentication, secrets handling, and the failure modes of security decisions made across process boundaries
Working knowledge of software supply chain security: build and release integrity, artifact provenance, and dependency risk
A track record of proactive architecture work — identifying risk before it becomes an incident, and designing something that prevents a class of problem rather than an instance of one
Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with engineering leadership and influence technical direction through expertise rather than gatekeeping
Experience defining security standards or patterns that teams adopted without being compelled to
The ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on, including reading unfamiliar code, building prototypes, and contributing changes
Clear written communication, and the ability to make a security argument to an engineering audience that does not already agree with it
A view on how security guidance should be authored and delivered for AI coding tools, not only for humans
About the team
Security Architects are a part of our
Security Platforms and Architecture

From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Notion is reimagining how customers adopt, expand, and realize value from software in an AI-native world. As an Outcomes Architect, you’ll be the build-beside partner who helps customers turn ambition into working systems inside Notion. You’ll own workflow adoption, value delivery, and renewal outcomes for a book of named accounts, with a focus on customers that are flat, at-risk, or need a stronger path to measurable impact.
You’ll partner closely with Solutions Consultants on account strategy, expansion qualification, and customer success planning, while directly shaping outcomes that strengthen customer partnerships and contribute to predictable revenue. If you’re a builder who loves helping customers solve real business problems—and you want to work at the intersection of AI, productivity, customer value, and revenue impact—this is the role.

- Design and deploy workflows that solve specific business problems as a build-beside partner to the customer, translating goals into durable systems in Notion
- Partner with Solutions Consultants on account strategy, customer planning, and identifying and qualifying expansion opportunities within existing accounts
- Co-define, build, and manage against customer success plans that help every customer achieve their desired objectives and realize measurable value
- Learn Notion’s product and the broader AI ecosystem inside and out so you can be the best build-beside partner for customers navigating new ways of working
- Innovate and iterate on Outcomes Architect programs that retain and grow customers while mitigating churn or contraction risk
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
- Experience driving customer adoption, value realization, renewals, or expansion within a B2B software environment

- Commercial awareness and the ability to partner with account owners on renewal risk, expansion potential, and account strategy
- Strong program and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage success plans, timelines, risks, and customer commitments across a book of accounts

- You’re obsessed with AI, constantly building with the newest tools and learning new ways of working
- Additional languages
NICE TO HAVES:
- Prior experience in customer success, solutions consulting, implementation, technical account management, or post-sales strategy for productivity, collaboration, or workflow software
- Experience working with flat, at-risk, or complex renewal accounts and helping customers return to a clear value path
- Familiarity with usage-based or consumption-based models and the ability to connect adoption patterns to commercial outcomes
- Experience partnering in a shared account ownership model with sales, solutions, support, or implementation teams
- Experience designing repeatable customer programs, playbooks, or interventions that improve retention, expansion, and adoption at scale.

A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.

Workplace: onsite
We build production AI systems for enterprises. We are an AI-first systems integrator and a Select-tier partner in Anthropic's Claude Partner Network, among the first integrators selected. The work is good. Most people have never heard of it.
That is the job.
We are looking for a marketer, first and foremost, who can tell the story of what we build in a way that actually travels, and who is comfortable enough with code to build simple tools that make that storytelling faster and sharper. Not an engineer who writes copy on the side.
What you will do:
Turn real engineering work into stories people share.
Sit close to the teams shipping AI systems for banks, healthcare companies, and PE-backed operators, and translate what they built into video, writing, and demos that travel
Own channels outright.
Write, publish, and measure across LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and whatever channel matters six months from now that does not matter today
Run experiments and kill the ones that lose.
Real budget and real autonomy, in exchange for showing your numbers
Build simple tools when it is faster than waiting on someone else.
A scraper that watches what our market is saying. A dashboard that shows which stories moved pipeline. A microsite for a launch
What we are looking for:
You have shipped things people used.
A campaign, a channel with a real audience, a launch, a tool. We care more about what you made than where you interned
You write well and you have a point of view.
You can hold attention for 90 seconds on video and 900 words on a page
You are genuinely interested in AI, not performatively.
You read the papers or you read the people who read the papers, and you have changed your mind about something in the last six months
You are comfortable around code.
Python or TypeScript at a working level. You use Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent day to day, enough to build a simple tool yourself rather than wait on engineering
You are anywhere from your first job to a few years in.
If you are early, show us an internship where the bar was high and a portfolio with range
You are in New York or San Francisco,
or you will be
What we offer:
Base salary of $80,000 to $180,000 depending on level and location, plus performance bonus
401(k) profit sharing plan after probation period
Unlimited PTO policy
Medical, vision, and dental insurance
Direct access to the people building the systems and to the executives selling them. Small team, no layers between you and the work
A budget for tools, models, and experiments, with no approval chain under a threshold
Promotion tied to output, not tenure
How to apply:
Do not send a cover letter. Send three links: something you wrote, something you built, and something you posted that got a reaction. One paragraph on why the third one worked.
Then, two sentences on a company whose positioning you think is wrong and what you would change.

The role & impact
In this key role, you will take ownership of regulatory compliance across a complex product area, ensuring our solutions effectively solve core compliance needs for our small business customers. You will act as a primary strategic advisor to product teams and senior leaders, shaping the regulatory roadmap and guiding how legislative shifts influence our long-term vision.
Working closely with large engineering teams, you will act as a trusted technical peer to sign off on overall compliance architecture. Your work will balance nuanced compliance questions with strategic trade offs, directly enabling Xero to deliver seamless, regulation-ready products that empower small businesses globally.
The team & how they connect
You will join a collaborative network of compliance experts who sit at the intersection of product, engineering, and product risk. The team regularly connects with both internal technology leaders and external regulatory or trade bodies to align on industry standards. Initially, the role will focus on
- Translating complex regulatory changes into clear, high-level insights and product requirements.

- A methodical approach to analytical research alongside an eye for detail and confident decision-making.
- Great self-management skills with a knack for prioritizing your time across both independent and collaborative work.
- Passion for upskilling others, sharing knowledge, and acting as a supportive mentor across the business.

Location: London, United Kingdom - Deliveroo
Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
About the Team
At Deliveroo we’re striving to build London’s best and most admired Security Engineering organisation as part of our global team based across North America and Europe.
Our London based Security Engineering team is looking for a
Senior GRC Engineer.
You will be a part of our inclusive, collaborative global team responsible.
This is a London based position reporting directly to the Security Compliance Manager based in London.
About the Role
We're hiring a
Senior GRC Engineer
to help take DoorDash's compliance program from something people run to something the platform runs on its own. You'll take primary ownership of how regulatory and framework change gets tracked, interpreted, and turned into real controls - one part of a broader GRC function that spans audit, policy, and risk. Day to day, that means less time updating spreadsheets and more time writing the automation, integrations, and control logic that let audit evidence collect itself.
You'll also lead major external audits from start to finish and help shape the policies and control standards the rest of the program is built on.
This is a hands-on role for someone who already has deep audit and assurance experience, wants to spend more time building than briefing and can move a program forward, and change how people work, without needing the title to make it happen.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
Build the regulatory and framework change-management process that keeps DoorDash ahead of new obligations, instead of reacting to them.
Move manual, point-in-time compliance work onto Compliance-as-Code foundations: policy-as-code, automated control testing, and continuous evidence collection wired into CI/CD, so audit readiness holds up between audits, not just during them.
Design and run agentic workflows for evidence analysis, control testing, and audit response preparation, with a human in the loop where assurance demands it.
Partner directly with engineering and architecture teams to design controls into new systems at build time and translate that technical work into the narratives auditors actually need.
Partner with the Security Compliance Manager to shape and mature the global compliance program.
Design, implement and validate security controls relevant to DoorDash’s regulatory environment, not just document them.
Support development and refinement of security policies, standards, and guidance.
Mentor other members of the compliance team and help set the technical bar the rest of the function grows into.
Ensure policies are actionable, testable, and aligned to real-world controls.
We’re excited about you because you have…
6+ years of experience in security compliance, GRC or technology risk, with a strong track record in high-growth, technology-driven and regulated environments.
Hands-on experience building large language models and agent workflows with daily use of AI in your own work, grounded judgment on what to delegate to agents versus what needs a human, and the ability to evidence both to an auditor. DoorDash is an AI-forward organization and the ability to optimize efficiency using AI is crucial in this role.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with frameworks such as DORA, the EU AI Act, NIS2 and CRA.
Real, hands-on experience implementing and assessing controls against frameworks like PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001 - not just reading them.
Demonstrated ability to identify control gaps, assess risk and drive remediation in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience developing, implementing and improving security policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring they are operational and effective.
Strong understanding of compliance metrics and reporting, with the ability to track control effectiveness, audit outcomes, and risk exposure.
Ability to influence and drive accountability across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex audit and compliance requirements into clear, actionable guidance.
Comfort owning compliance metrics and reporting - you can show, not just assert, that a program is working.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- GTM technical expert: Design and demo Sierra’s incredible Agent product, offering technical solutions to solve for our customer’s needs, and answering technical questions about our solutions.
- Cross-functional work: You will work directly with our Sales, Product and Agent Engineering teams to both drive our GTM function, as well as continuously improve our Agents through our customer-driven product development philosophy.
- Lead & support our customers: As a GTM and technical leader in the earliest conversations with our future customers, you will both understand and anticipate their needs to continue our industry-leading AI solution.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 5-7+ years experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering or customer-facing technical sales.
- Past experience in demo building, and presenting, and working with customers or clients in the GTM function.
- Experience in relationship-building with potential customers, including executives and technical leaders.
- Experience in leading the sales process with Enterprise customers.
- Ability to connect a prospect’s specific business problems and Sierra’s solutions and explain them to both a technical and non-technical audience
- Bachelor's Degree or above; bonus if in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
EVEN BETTER...
- AI-related experience (or experience in a similarly modern and highly technical industry).
- Experience translating code, technical logic and user requirements to product and engineering requirements.
OUR VALUES
- Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. We build trust in AI by making it more accessible, safe, and useful. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
- Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
- Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.
- Family: We know that balance and intensity are compatible, and we model it in our actions and processes. We are the best technology company for parents. We support and respect each other and celebrate each other’s personal and professional achievements.
