As the Manager on the GTM Finance and Strategy team, you’ll operate at the center of go-to-market strategy — owning and building critical models to forecast ARR and GAAP Revenue, analyzing and providing perspective around strategic initiatives, and delivering insights that shape executive and Board decisions. You’ll partner closely with Analytics, Revenue Accounting, Revenue Operations, External Reporting, and GTM leadership.
This role reports to the Sr. Manager of GTM Finance and blends strategic finance, data storytelling, technical problem-solving, and operational execution. You’ll drive forward-looking planning, help scale our forecasting infrastructure for a hybrid pricing motion that includes both subscription contracts and usage-based (consumption) revenue, and support high-visibility initiatives across the function.
This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who is passionate about leveraging data and financial insight to guide strategy and operational execution in a high-growth, cross-functional environment.
This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Oakland, CA or Denver, CO office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.
Tools/Technologies You’ll Use
Claude / ChatGPT, Looker, SFDC, BigQuery, G-Suite
What You’ll Do
Revenue Modeling & Forecasting:
Own and re-evaluate our rolling GAAP revenue and ARR forecast models, including renewal behavior (NRR), new business, and contract-level revenue recognition across subscription and consumption-based streams. Evolve forecasting frameworks using both deterministic and AI/ML-driven approaches.
Usage-Based Revenue:
Build and maintain forecasting approaches for consumption revenue, including committed vs. overage usage, breakage, and the migration of customers between pricing models
Business Partnering:
Serve as a key advisor and partner to COO, CFO, and collaboration with Analytics, delivering actionable insights to improve efficiency, optimize investments, and accelerate growth.
Strategic Decision Support:
Deliver analysis that informs GTM investment, pricing and packaging, and target setting, and quantify the revenue impact of key business risks and opportunities
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Support annual planning and monthly/quarterly forecast cycles; partner closely with Revenue Accounting on close, variance analysis, and forecast-to-actual (BvA) tracking
Performance Analysis:
Own key revenue and retention metric packages — including NRR, ARPA, new business mix, ROI, and cohort trends — and surface insights to the CFO, executives, and the Board
Forecast & Reporting Infrastructure:
Use AI Tools, or SQL (BigQuery) / Python to automate data pulls, build repeatable and auditable models, and improve the accuracy, speed, and transparency of our topline forecast; partner with Analytics, AI Transformation and Systems on data quality, integrity and self-serve reporting capabilities.
Executive Reporting:
Create compelling, automated, executive-ready reports, dashboards, and narratives that distill complex data, trends, forecasts, and strategic implications into actionable recommendations for Finance leadership and GTM stakeholders.
Team Leadership:
Provide technical guidance, review work, and help raise the modeling standards and work products of the GTM FP&A team
Skills We’re Looking For
5-7 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, revenue finance, or investment banking, with a strong focus on revenue forecasting
Expert-level modeling skills (Excel/Sheets) with a commitment to formula-driven, driver based, auditable, well-documented models
Experience with usage-based or consumption pricing models strongly preferred
Technical aptitude: working proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar scripting, and hands-on use of AI tools to accelerate and elevate modeling, strategic analysis, and QA; experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker) and data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake) a plus
Ownership mindset: takes a model or process from ambiguity to a repeatable, documented workflow with minimal oversight, including QA and reconciliation to source data
Data storytelling: translates complex data into clear insights and recommendations for senior, non-finance audiences, with strong executive presence and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally and influence without authority
Excellent communication skills with high attention to detail and executive presence

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.
During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.

Serve as the single accountable owner (“hold the pen”) for assigned deals, driving them from first review through redlines, issue resolution, and final execution.
Review and negotiate third-party (customer) paper, quickly identifying material risks, deviations from Incode's positions, and the handful of points truly worth negotiating.
Lead customer-facing calls and direct negotiations, advising the business on key commercial terms — limitation of liability, indemnification, term and renewal, SLAs, fees and pricing interplay, IP and trademark use, and termination.
Provide clear, documented sign-off for signature and partner with Legal Operations on Salesforce and legal software intake workflows.
Your Background
J.D. (or equivalent) and admission to, and good standing in, at least one U.S. state bar.
7+ years of relevant experience as a commercial/technology transactions lawyer, ideally a mix of top law firm and in-house experience at a fast-paced technology company.

1Password is growing. We’ve surpassed $500M in ARR and we’re continuing to accelerate, earning a spot on the Forbes Cloud 100 for four years in a row and teaming up with iconic partners like Oracle Red Bull Racing.
About 1Password
At 1Password, we’re building the foundation for a safe, productive digital future. Our mission is to unleash employee productivity without compromising security by ensuring every identity is authentic, every application sign-in is secure, and every device is trusted. We innovated the market-leading enterprise password manager and pioneered Unified Access Management, a new cybersecurity category built for the way people and AI agents work today. As one of the most loved brands in cybersecurity, we take a human-centric approach in everything from product strategy to user experience. Over 180,000 businesses, from Fortune 100 leaders to the world’s most innovative AI companies, trust 1Password to help their teams securely adopt the SaaS and AI tools they need to do their best work.
If you're excited about the opportunity to contribute to the digital safety of millions, to work alongside a team of curious, driven individuals, and to solve hard problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, then we want to hear from you. Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.
Reporting to the Manager, Senior Counsel - Commercial, the Legal Counsel, Commercial will support 1Password on a broad range of commercial matters. In this role, you'll work closely with our Go-to-Market (GTM) team to negotiate and close customer agreements, and you'll support procurement, partnership and product teams across the business. The work is varied and high-profile: you'll negotiate with some of the largest companies in the world, help launch new products and AI features, and support sports marketing partnerships with world-class sports teams. We're looking for a practical, deal-focused commercial lawyer who enjoys negotiating and wants to help drive the growth of a leading SaaS company.
How we’re using AI today
On the Legal team, AI helps us move faster without sacrificing quality. We use it to draft and review commercial agreements, implement negotiation playbooks, and prepare the groundwork for legal review. AI also helps us stay on top of regulatory developments, synthesize research across jurisdictions, and identify risks in novel situations like new product launches or partnership structures. The result is a team that can operate at higher volume with greater consistency, while creating more time for the judgment calls, collaboration, and meaningful decisions that matter most.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What we're looking for:
- A Juris Doctor or equivalent law degree, and membership in good standing with a Canadian provincial or US state bar
- 3 to 5 years of practice as a commercial transactional lawyer, gained at an established law firm with a strong commercial or technology practice, or as part of an in-house legal team at a mid-size or larger tech company
- Experience supporting sales teams by drafting and negotiating customer agreements such as MSAs, Order Forms, DPAs, NDAs, and Statements of Work
- Experience reviewing and negotiating procurement agreements across a range of vendor types, such as software, professional services, sponsorships, physical goods and hospitality
- A working knowledge of privacy laws, including GDPR, and how they apply to customer and vendor agreements, especially DPAs
- A strong interest in AI from two angles: the legal side (such as AI terms in contracts and emerging AI regulation) and the practical side, with a high level of comfort using AI tools in your day-to-day legal work
- A track record of closing deals on tight timelines, including end-of-quarter pressure, while keeping risk under control
- The ability to turn complex legal issues into clear, plain-language advice that sales, procurement and product teams can act on
- A solutions-first approach: you bring workable options and fallback positions, not just a list of risks
- A sales-focused mindset: you see Legal as a partner in closing deals and growing the business, and you're motivated to help get deals across the finish line
- A genuine enjoyment of negotiating, with strong drafting skills and close attention to detail
Bonus points for:
- Experience with contract lifecycle management and procurement tools, especially Ironclad and Zip
- Deeper privacy experience with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA or other privacy laws, or a privacy certification (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPP/C)
- Experience negotiating partnership, reseller and distributor agreements
What you can expect:
- Partner closely with GTM to draft, review and negotiate customer agreements, including MSAs, Order Forms, DPAs, and SOWs, helping keep deals moving through end-of-quarter pushes
- Review and negotiate a wide variety of procurement agreements, from SaaS vendors and professional services to sponsorships, physical goods, and hospitality and event contracts
- Negotiate larger and more strategic partnership, reseller and distributor agreements that support 1Password's growth into new markets
- Give product counseling, including reviewing new products and features and drafting and maintaining product terms and conditions
- Advise on privacy and data protection terms in customer and vendor agreements, working with the privacy team as needed
- Advise on AI-related legal issues in customer, vendor and product contexts, and use AI tools to build and improve legal processes and workflows
- Build and maintain internal playbooks, templates and guidance that help the business move faster and handle routine issues with confidence
- Take on bespoke and one-off commercial matters across the business, so no two weeks look quite the same

We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results.
How we work with AI
We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password.
This approach extends to our hiring process—candidates are welcome to use AI tools responsibly and thoughtfully during the application process. To us, this means we do ask that you join live interviews without using AI tools so we can get to know how you communicate, solve problems, and collaborate with others.
Our approach to remote work
We believe in the power of remote work, but recognize that in-person connection is important to help us achieve our mission. While we are a remote-first company, travel for in-person engagement is a part of almost all roles, and we require our employees to be ready and willing to take part. LEAP Program Description
Global Solutions Ventures (GSV) – a joint-venture partnership between ZemiTek, LLC and Dexis Consulting Group – is implementing the Long-term Exceptional Technical Assistance Project (LEAP Global), a mechanism originally used by USAID to battle against infectious diseases such as malaria, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, neglected tropical diseases, and pandemic influenza. As of July 1, 2025, LEAP Global transitioned to the U.S. Department of State (DOS). This initiative aims to address the complex human resource challenges faced by national infectious disease programs in the USA-supported countries.
The intervention of this project is to hire and embed technical expert advisors and subject matter experts within government entities. By directly embedding the technical expertise within the national programs, LEAP provides long-term, sustainable lifesaving support to empower host governments to lead and manage key aspects of their infectious disease portfolios and improve coordination between the U.S. Government and the host country.
