HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
🤹 OPERATIONS AT ALAN
Behind Alan's performance lies an Operations team that is anything but back-office. At Alan, Ops is a strategic function: we define the vision, build the systems, and own the outcomes that make our insurance and healthcare products work at scale.
As a Senior Ops & Product Builder, you will own some of the most critical and ambiguous challenges in the company. You will shape strategy, drive cross-functional alignment, and build solutions with lasting impact on Alan's P&L and member experience.
You’ll be joining 80+ talented, committed, passionate Ops team members working globally on all our services. You’ll be among the team mates structuring this community.
⭐️ THE CHALLENGES
We are looking for driven professionals and entrepreneurs with a strong operational background to disrupt the way we traditionally think about insurance or healthcare. Our goal is to delight our members everywhere as we keep on scaling and building new services in France and internationally.
The job description is simple: you set the vision, make the hard calls, and own the outcome.
Here are some examples of missions our team is covering that you could lead:
- Saving millions through fraud detection: Building a detection capability with no playbook. Owning make-vs-buy decisions on tooling, balancing precision against member experience at scale, and managing the external surface. Partner negotiations, industry lobbying, and ecosystem-level fraud strategy.
- Building a global recovery engine: Establishing a billing monitoring framework to identify gaps early on. Then building assets & partnerships to drive costs down : designing a global recovery system that adapts to local legislation to support Alan’s expansion. With millions invoiced every month and high growth, the impact on P&L is direct.
- Scaling psychotherapy online sessions: Defining the operating model from scratch, making hard resourcing decisions under uncertainty, managing quality at scale, and driving international replication. Today: 80,000 sessions were delivered & 93% of users report reduced stress.
- Reinventing healthcare expense payment: Challenging a key French health insurance item (Tiers Payant), owning complex supplier negotiations autonomously, and cutting the budget line by more than half while improving member satisfaction.
⭐️ IF YOU HAVE SOME OF THE FOLLOWING, YOU MAY BE A GREAT FIT ⭐️
- You have at least 10 years of professional experience in Operations management or entrepreneurship
- You are fully fluent in English and Spanish or French or Dutch
- You have a high level of structure and strong analytical skills (including Sql fluency for data analysis)
- You independently own high-ambiguity, high-impact initiatives (typically >10M€/year business impact)
- You excel at defining a clear vision and roadmap on your scope, lead product reviews, and drive make-or-buy decisions
- You make hard prioritization calls with partial information and manage key external partnerships autonomously
- You are a thought leader and implement innovative uses of AI and automation across crews
- You are a strong mentor: you make the people around you better, and you drive significant community impact
For this role we are looking to hire within the D-F https://alan.com/en/careers/a/salary-equity level range based out of France, Belgium or Spain.
🎯 IMPORTANT NOTE: WE HIRE PEOPLE, NOT ROLES.
If you're excited about this opportunity but don't check every box, we'd love to hear from you. Everyone, no matter how underrepresented, should feel free to apply, as it can only bring learnings or success.
If you identify yourself as a woman: Did you know that research shows women often apply only when meeting 100% of requirements?
Remember, this is just a guide, not a checklist. We'll be thrilled to receive your application!

Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
About the team
The Value Proposition & New Benefits team owns what our core value proposition for subscription should be, and the new benefits that bring it to life. We sit within the wider Subscription EMEA org, whose vision is to create the world's leading membership programme in local commerce, delivering unprecedented value and a world-class experience to members.
The role
We're looking for a Strategy & Operations Manager to own strategy and execution for new benefits within Subscription. This is a hybrid strategy/build/run role: you'll define what to launch, then work cross-functionally to get it shipped and measure whether it's working. You'll be expected to move fluidly between strategic thinking and hands-on execution — this is not a role where strategy stops at a slide deck.
Typical problems you'll own:
What new benefits should we launch for Subscription — which ideas are worth pursuing, and what's the business case for each?
How do we prioritise and sequence a pipeline of benefit ideas against limited engineering, design, and operational capacity?
How do we define success for a new benefit before launch — what does a good outcome look like, and what would tell us to kill it?
Once live, how is a benefit actually performing — impact on acquisition, retention, frequency, and member satisfaction — against its cost to serve, and what does that tell us to do next?
How do we take a benefit from a small pilot to a scaled, steady-state feature, and what needs to be true operationally for that to work?
What you'll do
Own the strategy and roadmap
for new benefits within Subscription — build the analysis, the business case, and the plan, and drive it through to execution.
Cross-functional delivery
— partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, and Finance to take benefit ideas from concept to launch, without formal authority over any of them.
Build and prioritise the benefit pipeline
— evaluate a stream of ideas (experiential, use-case specific, or otherwise), size their potential impact and cost, and decide what's worth building next.
Track ongoing performance
— maintain visibility into each live benefit's impact on acquisition, retention, frequency, and satisfaction against its cost to serve, flagging when something needs attention.
Scale what works
— take benefits from small pilots to steady-state features, defining the operating model, reporting cadence, and processes needed to run them sustainably.
Bring outside-in perspective
— track what Uber One, DashPass, Wolt+, Just Eat and Amazon Prime are doing with membership benefits, and translate what's relevant into Deliveroo's context.
Communicate to senior stakeholders
— write clear strategy documents and present recommendations, trade-offs, and results to leadership.
What we're looking for
5+ years of experience in strategy & operations, strategy consulting, or business operations — ideally with exposure to marketplaces, subscription/membership businesses, or consumer tech.
Commercial acumen
: strong understanding of marketplace dynamics and subscriber value; comfortable building a business case and owning a set of P&L-adjacent metrics.
Analytical rigor
: comfortable interpreting data and experiment results to make a clear business call — you'll partner with Data Science on the "how" and "so what."
Bias for action and ownership
: able to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous problems ("what should we build, and how will we know it worked?"), and to drive execution personally rather than just recommend.
Cross-functional influence
: track record of aligning senior stakeholders and diverse functions (Product, Eng, Finance, Marketing) around a shared plan in a fast-moving, matrixed environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication — able to distill complex trade-offs into a clear recommendation for leadership.
Nice to have
Multi-market experience across EMEA
Background in a subscription, loyalty, or membership business (delivery, e-commerce, fintech, or otherwise).
Benefits (Deliveroo standard — adjust per market)
Free Subscription
Up to 5% matched pension contributions
Equity / share awards eligibility
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with tenure, plus 1 day paid volunteering leave
Funded private healthcare (core plan), with option to add family
Wellbeing perks: on-site gym / discounted gym membership, GymPass access
Enhanced parental leave from day one
Learning & development budget and access to RooLearn
Cycle to Work / Season Ticket Loan schemes
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
At Deliveroo, we know that a great workplace reflects the world around us and that true diversity and inclusion make us stronger, more creative, and better at what we do. We’re committed to fostering an environment where everyone can do their best work and feel they belong.
We believe in equality of opportunity and welcome candidates from all backgrounds regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, socio-economic background, religion, or belief.
If you have a disability or long-term health condition and need support to apply for one of our roles, or require any reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process, you’ll have the opportunity to let us know once you’ve submitted your application. We’ll share details on how to request support so we can ensure you have a fair and equitable experience.
If you’re excited about making a real impact in a fast-moving marketplace and growing your career alongside ambitious, supportive teams, we’d love to hear from you!

With mentorship from senior leaders and opportunities to take on increasing responsibility, you’ll develop the judgement, commercial mindset and execution skills to make an impact.
How the Programme Works
- Build from day one: Start in a core functional team — Product, Marketing, Business Development or Operations — and take ownership of real projects with clear objectives and measurable outcomes.
- Think beyond your role: Work across functions, learn from experienced leaders, and turn insights into ideas that improve the user experience, unlock business opportunities or create new ways of working. The strongest ideas can progress into real initiatives, products or launches.
- Grow into your next role: Develop through structured mentorship, hands-on experience and increasing responsibility. High-performing participants will have the opportunity to transition into a permanent role at the end of the 12-month programme, aligned with their strengths and business needs.
Across the programme, you’ll gain exposure to three key areas:
- Product & User Experience: Understand user needs, explore market opportunities, analyse data and help shape and deliver product improvements that make self-custody more accessible, intuitive and useful.
- Growth & Ecosystem: Contribute to go-to-market strategies, growth experiments, community initiatives and partnerships across wallets, dApps, blockchains, stablecoins and emerging payment networks.
- Business Strategy & Operations: Solve cross-functional business challenges, improve processes, evaluate new opportunities and translate data and insights into practical decisions that drive business performance.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong academic foundation: A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a top, renowned university, or equivalent evidence of exceptional ability and achievement.
- Early-career talent: 0–2 years of professional work experience or relevant extracurricular experience, including student leadership, entrepreneurship, personal projects or community initiatives.
- Exceptional problem-solving: You can break down complex, ambiguous problems, challenge assumptions and develop clear, logical recommendations.
- A builder’s mindset: You turn ideas into action, take ownership of outcomes and focus on what creates tangible value for users and the business.
- Clear communication: You can articulate complex ideas simply, influence through sound reasoning and collaborate effectively across different teams.
- AI-native and future-focused: You actively explore AI tools such as Claude, Grok and Cursor, and are curious about AI agents and how they could transform how people work and transact.
- Genuine Web3 curiosity: You’ve explored wallets, DEXs, stablecoins or other Web3 applications, and have ideas about what works, what doesn’t and what could be better.
- Adaptable and driven: You learn quickly, thrive in ambiguity and are motivated by high standards, rapid execution and meaningful challenges.
Nice to Have
- Entrepreneurial experience: You’ve founded a venture, built a product or launched a project in AI or crypto — whether or not it succeeded.
- Hands-on Web3 involvement: Experience with DeFi, perpetuals, stablecoin payments, hackathons, DAOs or other ecosystem initiatives.
- A track record of building: Side projects, product teardowns, research, a newsletter, open-source contributions or an active presence on X or GitHub.
What You’ll Get
- A launchpad for leadership: A structured 12-month development journey with mentorship from senior leaders and opportunities to grow your scope and responsibility.
- Ownership that matters: The chance to work on real challenges and deliver improvements for a global user base of millions.
- A front-row seat to the future: Hands-on exposure to self-custody, AI-powered experiences, crypto payments and the evolving Web3 ecosystem.
- A steep learning curve: Learn by doing, collaborate across functions and build commercial, strategic and execution capabilities early in your career.
- A pathway to grow: High performers can progress into permanent roles where their strengths and ambitions align with Trust Wallet’s evolving needs.
Think boldly. Build with purpose. Help shape the future of Web3.
