The role
Nebius is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work alongside Physical AI customers, shape our core infrastructure products, and test ideas for what we should build next.
You will work with enterprises, ISVs, and digital-native companies running training, simulation, synthetic data, evaluation, and model serving workloads. By understanding their systems and helping them reach production, you will uncover requirements that inform our Cloud, Serverless, and Token Factory teams. The goal is to connect needs across Physical AI industries with product decisions, including improvements that benefit enterprise customers more broadly.
You will also investigate opportunities for new Nebius products. You will develop hypotheses about unmet needs, examine demand and existing alternatives, and build prototypes to test with customers. Your findings will help determine which opportunities deserve investment and what an initial product should deliver.
The work is hands-on. You will write code, deploy and benchmark models, build agents, and troubleshoot infrastructure alongside customer engineers.
The position is part of the Physical AI go-to-market team, with close collaboration across customers, NVIDIA, Product, and Engineering.
What you will do
Work with customer engineers to understand their workloads, infrastructure constraints, and production requirements.
Translate Physical AI use cases into requirements that Cloud, Serverless, and Token Factory teams can use, backed by measurements and customer evidence.
Identify enterprise adoption barriers and common needs across industries. Work with Product and Engineering to assess gaps and test improvements with customers.
Build agents that set up, run, and debug Physical AI workloads, connecting them to clusters, schedulers, storage, and model servers.
Deploy and benchmark open-weight models with serving stacks such as vLLM or SGLang, then tune them for customer workloads.
Build prototypes and run technical evaluations to answer specific questions about performance, reliability, and product fit.
Assess demand and existing alternatives for opportunities outside current product teams’ scope, then build where there is a clear market.
Debug across Python, agents, model servers, Kubernetes, GPUs, networking, and storage. Turn successful setups into reusable scripts, deployments, and short guides.
What we are looking for
Three or more years in software engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, ML infrastructure, or similar, including ownership of a production service, cluster, or platform.
Experience working directly with customers or external engineers to scope problems, run evaluations, and explain technical tradeoffs.
Ability to turn an unfamiliar customer problem into concrete infrastructure requirements.
Practical experience building with LLMs or agents, at work or independently, with an understanding of their internals (e.g., transformers, KV caching, or tool calling) and how to evaluate their outputs.
Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure requirements, including identity and access management, network isolation, security, monitoring, and reliability.
Strong Python and Linux skills: you can read unfamiliar code, automate a setup, and debug from logs and metrics.
Practical experience with containers and Kubernetes, including configuration, networking, storage, and scheduling.
A record of getting useful software working with incomplete requirements, measuring results, and following through with the people using it.
Helpful experience
Enterprise customer engineering, solutions architecture, consulting, or taking a new product from an initial customer problem to adoption.
Distributed compute such as Ray, Slurm, Spark, or multi-GPU jobs.
NVIDIA GPU workloads, including memory management, drivers, CUDA, NCCL, and monitoring.
Model serving with vLLM, SGLang, TensorRT-LLM, or TGI.
Robotics, simulation, synthetic data, reinforcement learning, world models, or tools such as Isaac Sim, Isaac Lab, Omniverse, and Cosmos.
Infrastructure automation and enterprise integrations, including Terraform, CI/CD, private connectivity, and identity federation.
Benefits & Perks:
Competitive compensation
Career growth and learning opportunities
Flexibility and ownership
Collaborative and innovative culture
Opportunity to work on impactful AI projects
International environment and talented teams

You will also serve as the primary point of contact between Deployment Engineering, project management, Data Center Operations and other engineering teams & will report to the Head of Hardware Delivery and Deployment.
This position is based at our headquarters in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Remote work is not available for this role. Regular travel to data centers across EMEA will be required
Your responsibilities will include:
Lead the Deployment Engineering team
Manage a team of Deployment Engineers across EMEA.
Hold regular 1:1s, provide feedback, set expectations, and support engineers in their development.
Assign responsibilities and make sure engineers have clear ownership during deployments.
Identify skill gaps and build technical depth within the team.
Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management as the team grows.
Remove blockers for engineers and escalate organizational or technical issues when necessary.
Own deployment engineering planning
Represent Deployment Engineering in project planning and synchronization meetings for new data center launches.
Understand upcoming deployment milestones and translate them into engineering resource requirements.
Plan engineer allocation across multiple parallel projects and deployment phases.
Make sure the right technical expertise is available for hardware bring-up, testing, troubleshooting, and acceptance.
Identify resource conflicts and delivery risks early rather than reacting to them during deployment.
Maintain a clear view of team capacity, project priorities, travel requirements, and upcoming workload.
Drive technical execution
Ensure deployment testing and hardware bring-up are executed consistently and to the required quality level.
Support engineers with complex hardware, firmware, Linux, and systems troubleshooting.
Step into critical technical issues when deeper investigation or coordination is required.
Drive problems toward a clearly identified failure domain, root cause, or actionable escalation.
Coordinate with R&D, DC Operations, vendors, ODMs, and other engineering teams when issues cross organizational boundaries.
Make sure deployment findings result in fixes, documentation, tooling, or process improvements rather than remaining one-off solutions.
Improve how we deploy infrastructure
Build repeatable deployment processes, standards, checklists, and troubleshooting practices.
Improve the quality and predictability of hardware testing and acceptance.
Identify recurring deployment problems and drive systemic fixes upstream into factory, hardware, firmware, tooling, or operational processes.
Improve handover from Deployment Engineering to steady-state operations.
Help develop automation and tooling that reduce manual work and increase deployment scale.
We expect you to have:
Strong experience with server hardware, data center infrastructure, or large-scale systems deployment.
Experience leading engineers, either as a formal people manager or as a strong technical/team lead with clear ownership for other engineers.
Ability to plan resources and coordinate engineering work across several projects running in parallel.
Strong ownership mindset and the ability to operate in environments where procedures are incomplete and problems are not yet well understood.
Ability to challenge assumptions, investigate beyond the immediate symptom, and drive issues to resolution.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with project managers, engineering teams, operations, and external vendors.
Comfortable working directly in data centers and traveling across EMEA when required.
It will be an added bonus if you have:
Linux troubleshooting skills and a solid understanding of modern server architecture.
Experience diagnosing hardware and infrastructure problems across components such as CPU, memory, NVMe, PCIe, NICs, BMC, BIOS, and firmware.
Experience deploying GPU or AI infrastructure at scale.
Experience with large server fleets or hyper-scale environments.
Experience working with ODMs or server vendors during production, deployment, or failure investigation.
Experience with automated hardware validation or fleet-level testing.
Experience building a deployment, infrastructure, SRE, hardware reliability, or similar engineering team.
What success looks like
You will not be measured by how many individual servers you personally troubleshoot or deploy.
Success means that Deployment Engineering operates as a reliable function: projects know when and how to engage the team, engineers are assigned to the right work, technical problems are driven to resolution, deployment risks are visible early, engineers are developing, and new infrastructure can move from delivery to operational readiness predictably.
You will be the person the Head of Hardware Delivery and Deployment can rely on to run the EMEA Deployment Engineering function day to day, while also continuously improving how the team operates and scales.

We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Mistral partners with the leaders of their industries to redefine how their most complex, high-stakes challenges are solved with frontier AI.
As a Solutions Operations Manager for our strategic accounts, you act as the Technical Program Manager to the account leadership: you sit at the heart of the transformation, working with the client's leadership and with Mistral's best deployment strategists, forward-deployed engineers and applied scientists. You own technical program management end-to-end, planning, governance, execution, while also running the day-to-day operations of the accounts.
This is a hands-on role for someone with a solid technical background who has led complex programs and is equally comfortable on running operations. You embed in an account, own the outcome, and bring AI into the day-to-day.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As the operational backbone of the account, you act as the right hand to the Program Lead, ensuring Mistral sets the standard for execution, speed, and collaboration with the client. Your role blends technical program management, hands-on delivery governance, and day-to-day operations.
GOVERNANCE & STRATEGIC ALIGNMENT
- Ensure the Program Lead’s vision is clearly articulated and adopted by both Mistral’s account team and the client
- Drive alignment between client stakeholders and Mistral teams to ensure shared priorities and high-quality delivery standards
- Facilitate data-driven decision-making for leadership through weekly cadences, steering committee prep, and risk dashboards.
STRATEGIC SCOPING & VALUE DEFINITION
- Develop a deep understanding of the client’s business, operating model, and strategic priorities
- Partner with the Program Lead and Account team to scope transformative programs, identify and define use cases, and build a clear business case and value framework
- Translate strategic ambition into measurable outcomes and track the long-term business impact of each program
DELIVERY & EXECUTION
- Own delivery frameworks: timelines, milestones, reporting, proactively securing commitments and flagging risks or delays early.
- Optimize delivery processes by identifying friction points and standardizing workflows to enhance quality and predictability.
- Run the account's logistics for Mistral team going on site (access, security, meetings)
OPERATIONAL INNOVATION & AUTOMATION
- Build and enhance Mistral’s platform and internal tools to empower program delivery with scalable, tailored solutions
- Automate workflows to eliminate manual friction in planning, reporting, and follow-ups, accelerating execution and reducing operational overhead
WHO YOU ARE
- Technical foundation. You have an engineering or equivalent technical background and 3–5 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager (or similar) delivering complex, multi-stakeholder technical programs at a tech company, scale-up, or enterprise.
- AI-fluent. You genuinely use AI tools to automate your own work: drafting, analysis, reporting, PMO tasks. You're comfortable building and iterating on automations.
- High agency. You don't wait to be told what to do. You see the gap, you close it, and you raise the standard as you go.
- Customer-centric. You can hold a room with senior enterprise stakeholders and translate between business strategy and technical delivery.
- Meticulous and reliable. Ownership to the last detail; nothing falls through the cracks on your watch.
- Adaptable. Comfortable operating in ambiguity and a fast-moving environment; bias to action over process for its own sake.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in enterprise software, AI, or deep-tech delivery environments.
- Exposure to change management / adoption at scale within large organizations.
- Hands-on experience automating workflows with LLMs or building internal tooling.
PRACTICAL DETAILS
- Location: Paris, with travel expected ~30% of your time to customer sites (Europe)
- Team: Solutions Org, reporting into the Solutions leadership.
- Scope: One or several strategic accounts.

Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.
The role
Tavily, part of Nebius, is the web access layer for AI agents. Over two million developers use us, and our customers include Fortune 500 companies running agents in production.
You will own our enterprise product: the roadmap for what large customers need, and the control plane that makes it possible. These are the capabilities that decide whether a large customer can adopt us, trust us, and expand with us.
Our product is an API, and our enterprise buyer is an engineering organization. The people you build for are platform teams, architects, and the developers inside those companies who are putting agents into production. You need to be comfortable making product decisions about API surfaces, developer workflows, and technical tradeoffs, not only about business requirements.
To build this well, you have to be in the room. You will work alongside customer success, sales, and our forward-deployed engineers, who are in these accounts every week and already know where we fall short, and you will spend real time with customers alongside them. Delivery and implementation stay with forward-deployed engineering and go-to-market. Your job is to turn what you learn into product.
The hard part is judgment. Knowing which request is one account's edge case, and which one is the thing every enterprise customer will ask for six months from now. Getting that right is the difference between a platform and a pile of custom work.
In your first year, we expect you to own a clear enterprise roadmap, ship the controls that block deals today, and become the person the go-to-market team comes to before a deal gets stuck.
This is a hands-on senior IC role with real ownership, reporting to the Director of Product. The product team is small, so you will work directly with the engineers building your roadmap and with the go-to-market teams selling it.
Your responsibilities will include
Own the enterprise roadmap: what we build for large customers, in what order, and why.
Own the platform behind it: organizations and identity, keys and quotas, spend controls, usage observability and audit, policy enforcement, and data residency.
Make product decisions on our API surface for enterprise use, so that the developers inside those accounts can build on us without friction.
Work with customer success, sales, and forward-deployed engineering to understand what enterprise customers need, and spend time in accounts alongside them to see it first hand.
Tell the difference between a single-account request and a pattern worth building for, and be able to defend the call either way.
Hand off what belongs to another product area, with the evidence that makes it actionable.
Give sales and marketing the positioning, materials, and product understanding they need to sell a technical product well.
Represent enterprise customers in roadmap decisions with evidence rather than anecdote.
We expect you to have
6+ years of product management experience, with a meaningful part of it spent on enterprise products in B2B, developer platform, or API businesses.
Experience building developer-facing or API products, with real understanding of what makes an API good to build against.
Experience building platform capabilities that enterprises depend on, such as identity, permissions, quotas, usage controls, audit, or compliance.
A track record of working with large enterprise accounts, including recognized logos, and turning what you learned into shipped product.
Credibility with technical buyers: platform teams, architects, security, and procurement.
Strong understanding of LLMs, AI agents, and how search and retrieval fit into agentic workflows. Hands-on technical background is a strong plus.
The ability to turn many messy customer conversations into one clear, prioritized product argument.
Proven ability to drive alignment without formal authority, including with product owners who do not report to you.
It will be a bonus if you have
Background as a forward-deployed engineer, solutions engineer, or solutions architect before moving into product.
Experience in search, information retrieval, or NLP.
Experience in API-first businesses running both self-serve and enterprise motions.
Experience building for regulated industries such as financial services, insurance, or healthcare.

At Render, we’re building the modern cloud platform for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to eliminate the tradeoff between the power of hyperscalers and the simplicity of developer-friendly platforms—so teams can ship fast, scale reliably, and focus on their product, not infrastructure.
Unlike complex hyperscalers or ephemeral edge/serverless solutions, Render offers a developer-first experience with persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, allowing teams to launch, scale, and manage real-world applications without writing infrastructure code or managing servers. Whether you're building LLM-powered applications, scalable SaaS products, or async processing pipelines, Render empowers teams to move fast and scale confidently from MVP to millions of users.
Our platform is trusted by over 7 million developers worldwide and continues to grow rapidly. In February 2026, we raised an additional $100M in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $260M, to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive—designed for the speed of modern AI development.
We’re a diverse and talented team that values craft, velocity, and user experience. If you’re excited to help shape the future of the intelligent cloud and empower developers everywhere, we’d love to hear from you.
APPLYING TO RENDER
We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn. Through reasoned discussions and continuous feedback, we strive to improve both individually and collectively. We foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, empowering effective debate to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and team.
We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply and understand that not all successful candidates will meet each requirement listed.
Our interview process is unique to each role, and we value the candidate experience just as much as our customer experience. We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Talent Operations Manager to own the systems, data, and operating rhythm behind how Render hires. You’ll architect our ATS, build the reporting that Talent and hiring teams rely on, and lead process changes that help us scale without losing quality.
You’ll work closely with recruiters, recruiting coordinators, hiring managers, People leaders, and external partners. You’ll make sure our hiring data can answer the questions teams need to make better decisions.
This is a high-leverage role for someone who likes turning messy, fast-moving work into clear operating systems. You’ll help us reduce process drift, improve the candidate experience, keep hiring data trustworthy, and give the team better visibility into what is working, what is blocked, and where we need to adjust.
We value people who are practical, systems-minded, and steady when the work gets complex. The right person can zoom out to design how the system should work, then zoom in to improve the field, report, access role, or automation that is slowing the team down.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Architect how our ATS works across custom fields, access roles, interview plans, feedback forms, automations, integrations, and reporting foundations
- Own the reporting layer for Talent leadership and hiring teams, including dashboards, ad hoc reporting, metric definitions, and visibility into hiring plan progress
- Keep hiring data accurate and reconciled across the ATS, the hiring plan, and downstream systems so decisions get made on numbers people trust
- Partner with People on job architecture, leveling, and offer consistency, and keep the ATS and People systems aligned as roles and plans change
- Partner with Finance on hiring plan reconciliation and the reporting leadership uses to see where the plan stands
- Turn recurring Talent Operations requests into better systems: identify patterns, improve workflows, automate repeatable work, and make the right processes self-serve
- Evaluate, procure, implement, and manage tools for sourcing, scheduling, reporting, and recruiting operations
- Own how our systems connect, including scoping, testing, and maintaining API-based reporting, integrations, and automations that reduce manual work for recruiters and coordinators
- Lead process rollouts with clear documentation, training, adoption checks, and follow-through so changes stick
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years in recruiting, recruiting operations, talent operations, people systems, or a similar systems and data role in a high-growth environment
- Deep ATS expertise, with Ashby strongly preferred. You can design how the system should work, not just maintain it, across custom fields, access roles, interview plans, automations, integrations, and reporting foundations
- Strong analytical skills. You can take a vague question, decide what data would answer it, and build the report yourself
- Proficient in Google Sheets or Excel. You can pull data together from multiple sources and turn the result into a case a cross-functional partner can follow
- Experience owning data integrity across an ATS and the systems around it, including reconciling against a hiring plan or another source of truth
- Strong program and change management skills. You can roll out a new process, teach it, measure adoption, and keep the team aligned
- Clear written communication, strong documentation habits, high attention to detail, and good judgment in a fast-moving environment
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience building or scaling a recruiting operations function at a post-Series B/C company
- Experience supporting technical recruiting teams or high-volume engineering hiring
- Hands-on experience with the Ashby API or ATS-based reporting
- Exposure to headcount planning or headcount management systems
- AI fluency, with good judgment about where AI helps, where it adds risk, and what checks are needed before others rely on the output
If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need.
BENEFITS

- 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all parents to bond with a newly born, adopted, or fostered child. We will also work with you to create a supportive plan of return.

We make all employment decisions including hiring, evaluation, termination, promotional, and training opportunities, without regard to race, religion, color, sex, age, national origin, ancestry, sexual orientation, physical handicap, mental disability, medical condition, disability, gender or identity or expression, pregnancy or pregnancy-related condition, marital status, height and/or weight.
We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please contact us to request accommodation.
