About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About the role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer on the Professional Services team, you’ll work hands-on-keyboard inside strategic enterprise customers, modernizing legacy frontends to Next.js and building production AI agents. You’ll own the work from technical discovery to shipped TypeScript, whether that’s moving a React app to App Router, auditing a codebase for performance, or deploying agents with Vercel’s eve framework and AI SDK. The role has two profiles: Next.js experts focus on code optimization, performance audits, and SEO and AEO (answer engine optimization), while AI builders scope, design, and ship agents that prove their value. This is a hybrid role with 3 in-office days per week in London or Berlin.
What you’ll do
Build production AI agents, MCP servers, and agentic workflows with Vercel’s eve framework, AI SDK, and AI Cloud
Lead migrations from legacy React, Vue, and other frameworks to Next.js, including Pages Router to App Router, and automate them where possible
Audit customer codebases for performance bottlenecks and anti-patterns, and deliver roadmaps with measurable improvements
Architect Next.js applications with App Router, Server Components, streaming, and ISR for enterprise scale
Run workshops and pair programming so customer teams can maintain what you ship
What you need
6+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a customer-facing technical role (consulting, solutions architecture, forward deployed engineering, or technical founder)
Built and deployed web applications, backend systems, or agentic workflows using AI tooling such as harnesses, skills, and MCP servers
Expert-level TypeScript and React experience shipping production applications
Next.js experts: Led a legacy frontend migration to Next.js, or shipped a production Next.js application using App Router and Server Components
AI builders: Built production LLM agents, including sandbox and filesystem agent patterns and human-in-the-loop flows
Ran technical discovery and presented to executives at enterprise customers, with occasional travel to customer sites
Bonus if you
Led an enterprise AI initiative that shipped production agents replacing manual processes or legacy systems
Diagnosed and fixed LCP, CLS, and INP issues at scale
Contributed to Next.js, React, or AI SDK open source

About WorkOS 🚀
WorkOS builds modern developer tools and APIs that make it easy for companies to become Enterprise Ready. Our platform powers authentication, identity, authorization, and other critical infrastructure that developers need to securely scale their products to large organizations.
We recently raised a $100M Series C, valuing the company at $2B, led by Meritech and Sapphire with participation from Greenoaks, Craft, Abstract, and Audacious. WorkOS powers enterprise features for many of the fastest-growing AI companies, including OpenAI, Cursor, and Perplexity, Sierra, and Plaid.
As AI reshapes software, WorkOS is at the frontier of Human and Agent Authentication, Identity, and Access Control helping companies answer a new critical question: who are your agents, and what are they allowed to do? Our fast-growing customer base includes hundreds of modern software companies building the next generation of enterprise-ready products.
About the role 💭
We're at an inflection point for what it means to build for developers and agents. The way engineers discover, integrate, and work with APIs is changing fast, and we're actively building the infrastructure to meet that shift.
Developers still integrate WorkOS, but increasingly their agents do it for them. This team owns every way into WorkOS that isn't the dashboard: SDKs in 9 languages, now generated from our API spec; an AI installer CLI that sets up AuthKit in any project; our MCP servers and agent skills; and other not released projects we're building in-house. You'd ship daily with agents as collaborators, and your code goes into other people's apps. The roadmap comes from watching real integrations: friction logs, shared customer Slack channels and telemetry.
The goal is that when a developer (or their agent) needs enterprise-ready auth, WorkOS is the easiest path forward regardless of stack, language, or how they're building.
What you'll work on
- Ship agent tools and skills so developers (and their agents) can integrate WorkOS without friction
- Write evaluations to measure whether what you ship actually improves developer outcomes
- Talk to customers, surface insights, and translate them into roadmap
- Contribute to the architecture and tooling for fully generated, polyglot SDK pipelines — so a change to the API propagates cleanly across all languages
- Own and evolve SDKs across our seven supported languages (Node/TypeScript, Python, Ruby, Go, Java, PHP, .NET) and framework libraries like our Next.js, Remix, and TanStack integrations
- Build and extend AI-native documentation systems as structured context that makes WorkOS work well in Cursor, Claude, Copilot, and agentic workflows
- Represent WorkOS publicly through docs, blog posts, OSS, and occasional conference appearances
- Build developer tooling like the WorkOS CLI that make complex integrations feel trivial
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of software development experience with a real track record of shipping and maintaining SDKs or OSS projects
- Deep fluency in at least three of our supported languages; you should have strong opinions about what idiomatic code looks like in each
- Experience with or genuine excitement about AI-native tooling: agent SDKs, context engineering, evals, LLM-powered CLIs
- Interest in documentation as infrastructure, not just prose
- Strong instincts for what makes a developer experience good vs. merely functional
- Experience owning projects end-to-end and driving decisions based on customer impact
Benefits and Perks (US Only) 💖

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
As a Strategic Account Executive (Life Sciences) at Anthropic, you'll join the foundational team introducing our frontier AI platform to the world's leading life sciences organizations. You'll drive adoption of safe, frontier AI by securing strategic, enterprise-scale deals across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and research organizations. You'll leverage deep life sciences sales expertise to grow revenue while becoming a trusted advisor to industry stakeholders — helping them embed AI into R&D, clinical development, and commercial workflows, and uncovering its full range of capabilities. Working closely with Product and Marketing, you'll continuously sharpen our value proposition, sales motion, and market positioning for life sciences decision-makers.
The ideal candidate is energized by building a new category in an established, highly regulated industry — identifying high-potential accounts across pharmaceutical, biotech, and research organizations, and running the strategies to win them. By driving deployment of Anthropic's emerging products into life sciences enterprises, you'll help these organizations unlock new capabilities while advancing the responsible development of AI.
Key responsibilities
Own a book of strategic, high-value accounts across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and research organizations, carrying and exceeding an individual revenue target
Engage personally with C-level and senior technical stakeholders (CIOs, CTOs, Heads of R&D, Heads of Data/AI) — building business cases and value narratives, and navigating complex procurement, security, regulatory, and legal review through to production deployment and expansion
Identify and prioritize high-potential opportunities within your accounts, building and executing account plans that turn strategic relationships into committed revenue
Run a disciplined pipeline and forecasting cadence — accurate deal inspection, clear next steps, and predictable, coachable execution across a high-value, long-cycle book of business
Partner closely with Applied AI, Solutions Architecture, and Product to design solutions, prove value quickly, and translate life sciences-specific needs — R&D, clinical development, commercial — into product and roadmap input
Codify winning use cases, proof points, and reference stories from your deals, partnering with Marketing and Enablement to help scale them across the broader life sciences motion
Orchestrate cross-functional and partner motions with Customer Success, Legal, Partnerships, and cloud partners to deliver a seamless customer experience, and represent Anthropic as a visible, trusted voice with customers and at industry events
Minimum qualifications
5+ years of enterprise sales experience in life sciences, with demonstrated success covering bio, pharma, and research organizations
A track record of carrying and exceeding quota in enterprise sales of technical, complex products (API-first platforms, cloud infrastructure, data/ML platforms, or enterprise SaaS)
Experience winning and growing strategic enterprise accounts, including building C-suite relationships, within life sciences (pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or research organizations)
Operational rigor across complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles — balancing velocity with deal quality and forecasting accurately in fast-changing environments
Credibility with technical buyers and builders — CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, Heads of AI/ML — and experience pairing effectively with solutions architects and applied AI teams
A genuine interest in deploying AI responsibly and motivation to advance Anthropic's mission of building safe, beneficial AI
Preferred qualifications
Experience bringing generative AI or LLM-based products, or other emerging platform technologies, to large pharmaceutical or biotechnology companies
Deep familiarity with regulated-industry selling — GxP compliance, data governance, regulatory and compliance-driven procurement, security review, and the governance expectations of pharma/biotech organizations
Experience selling with and through cloud and ecosystem partners such as AWS, Google Cloud, and global systems integrators
Familiarity with consumption- or usage-based commercial models and value-based pricing conversations
Experience navigating long, multi-stakeholder enterprise cycles (12+ months) typical of biopharma R&D and drug development procurement

ABOUT US
At LangChain, our mission is to make intelligent agents ubiquitous. We build the foundation for agent engineering in the real world, helping developers move from prototypes to production-ready AI agents that teams can rely on. We began as widely adopted open-source tools and have grown to also offer a platform for building, evaluating, deploying, and operating agents at scale.
With $125M raised at Series B from IVP, Sequoia, Benchmark, CapitalG, and Sapphire Ventures, we’re at a stage where we’re continuing to develop new products, growth is accelerating, and all team members have meaningful impact on what we build and how we work together. LangChain is a place where your contributions can shape how this technology shows up in the real world.
Today, our platform includes LangSmith (Observability, Evaluation, Deployment, Fleet, and Sandboxes), our open source frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, and Deep Agents), and the newly launched LangSmith Engine for autonomous agent improvement. We have 100M+ monthly open source downloads, 6,000+ active LangSmith customers, and 5 of the Fortune 10 use LangSmith in production (+ 35% of the Fortune 500 overall), including teams at Klarna, Clay, Coinbase, Workday, Lyft, Cloudflare, Harvey, Rippling, Vanta, LinkedIn, Monday.com, Nvidia, and Bridgewater.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The Deployed Engineering team works directly with companies building and running AI agents in production, helping turn ideas and prototypes into systems teams can rely on.
This is a hands-on, highly technical team that partners closely with customer engineers across the full lifecycle, from pre-sales evaluations to post-deployment advisory work. The focus is on achieving the technical win, co-designing agent architectures, and helping customers operate agents reliably at scale using the LangChain suite.
Deployed Engineers sit at the intersection of engineering, product, and go-to-market, shaping how LangChain is adopted in the field and feeding real-world insights back into the platform.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Deployed Engineer…You’ll work on some of the hardest problems in applied AI — not demos, not research, but systems that real teams depend on in production. The feedback loop is fast, the impact is visible, and the work you do directly shapes how AI agents are built in the real world.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Co-architect and co-build production AI agents with customer engineering teams
- Own the technical win in pre-sales by designing POCs, answering deep technical questions, and guiding evaluations
- Help customers deploy and operate agent-based applications such as conversational agents, research agents, and multi-step workflows
- Advise customers post-sale on architecture, best practices, and roadmap-level decisions
- Run technical demos, trainings, and workshops for developer audiences
- Surface field feedback and contribute reusable patterns, cookbooks, and example code that scale across customers
- Occasionally contribute code upstream when it meaningfully improves customer outcomes
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 3+ years in a relevant technical role (software engineering, customer engineering, solutions engineering, founding/product engineering), ideally in a startup or scale-up
- Strong Python, JavaScript and systems fundamentals
- Have designed agent-based or LLM-powered applications beyond simple API calls, including multi-step workflows, orchestration, and failure handling
- Are comfortable working directly with customers during POCs, architecture reviews, and technical evaluations
- Can explain technical tradeoffs clearly and build trust with developer audiences
- Take responsibility for outcomes, not just recommendations
- Have a bias toward action and enjoy figuring things out as you go
- Are excited about operating AI agents in production, not just building demos
NICE TO HAVE’S
- You’ve deployed AI agents in production, especially using LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks
- Worked with LLM evaluation, observability, or guardrails
- Have experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), containers, and basic Kubernetes concepts
- Have shipped and operated production software and are comfortable owning systems under real-world constraints
Compensation Philosophy:
We offer competitive compensation that includes base salary, variable compensation for relevant roles, meaningful equity, benefits, and perks.
We are hiring for this role across a range of scope, and the compensation band reflects that. Your offer depends on what we learn about your impact, craft, leadership, and communication during the interview process. We will tell you early where you’re tracking and talk comp with you before offer stage. Team members in the EU, UK, and APAC receive locally competitive benefits aligned with regional norms and regulations.
BENEFITS
Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible vacation, a 401(k) plan, meals on in-office days in the US and more.

- Own the risk management lifecycle, including risk identification, assessment, prioritization, and executive reporting
- Establish and track security and compliance metrics, reporting posture, progress, and risk to executive leadership and the board as needed
- Oversee incident response governance, ensuring policies, playbooks, and escalation paths meet compliance and regulatory expectations
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 8–12+ years of experience in information security, GRC, or security leadership roles, with demonstrated ownership of compliance programs
- Hands-on experience leading ISO 27001 certification efforts (initial certification and/or ongoing surveillance audits)
