Настроить подборLocation: EMEA; Remote Roles - EMEA Who We Are At OKX, we believe that the future will be reshaped by crypto, and ultimately contribute to every individual's freedom. OKX is a leading crypto exchange, and the developer of OKX Wallet, giving millions access to crypto trading and decentralized crypto applications (dApps). OKX is also a trusted brand by hundreds of large institutions seeking access to crypto markets. We are safe and reliable, backed by our Proof of Reserves. Across our multiple offices globally, we are united by our core principles: We Before Me , Do the Right Thing , and Get Things Done . These shared values drive our culture, shape our processes, and foster a friendly, rewarding, and diverse environment for every OK-er. OKX is part of OKG, a group that brings the value of Blockchain to users around the world, through our leading products OKX, OKX Wallet, OKLink and more. About the Opportunity OKX is hiring a Head of Tax Information Reporting to build and run our global tax information reporting function. The function covers the OECD Crypto-Asset Reporting Framework (CARF), the EU's DAC8 directive, the amended Common Reporting Standard (CRS 2.0), FATCA, and US Form 1099-DA across multiple reporting entities and a large global user base, with annual reporting across the EU, Brazil, and other CARF jurisdictions. Most of the work is data: getting the right user, transaction, and balance data out of our platform, reconciling it, and turning it into accurate filings. You will own the relationship with our reporting vendor, the data specification that feeds it, and the quality checks that decide whether a file goes out. You will run a central function that owns policy, data, vendor, QA, and submission for every entity in scope. Each reporting entity names an accountable signatory. Local compliance and entity leads are consulted on local requirements and support registration where the law requires a local filer. You will work closely with Product, Data Engineering, Finance Operations, Group Tax, Legal, Data Privacy, and the local entity leads. What You’ll Be Doing Own the end-to-end CARF, DAC8, CRS 2.0, FATCA, and 1099-DA reporting cycle for every OKX entity in scope: population definition, self-certification coverage, data extraction and reconciliation, file production, QA, filing, corrections, and tax authority queries. Define and own the data specification that feeds the tax platform vendor: which users, which transactions, which balances, how they are aggregated by user and jurisdiction, and how they reconcile to the ledger. Work with Product and Data Engineering to build and test the pipeline. Build and run the QA framework. Reconcile every file to source, validate it against the OECD XML schema and local variants, sample-test self-certification reasonableness checks, and run cross-entity consistency checks for users who hold accounts with more than one OKX entity. Nothing files without your release. Manage the tax platform vendor: contract scope, delivery calendar, test cycles, output validation, issue resolution, and the annual renewal decision. Set the group reporting policy and interpret the regimes for OKX: reportable crypto-assets, transfers to unhosted wallets, staking and reward income, retail payment thresholds, residency tie-breakers, and TIN rules, exercising independent technical judgment, supported by Legal and external tax advisers. Own the global tax self-certification design in onboarding, including validation rules, refresh triggers, and the backlog remediation program for existing users, working with Compliance and Product. Define the process for restricting undocumented accounts under DAC8 and CARF, including reason codes and customer communications, with restrictions applied automatically in Product and monitored by the central team. Maintain the entity-by-entity readiness tracker covering domestic enactment, registration, self-certification coverage, and deadlines. Report weekly to the CCO and monthly to the CARF steering committee. Hands-on leader. Build a small, senior team, scaled through the reporting vendor and outside advisers. Coordinate with and train local compliance and entity leads. Support independent testing by Compliance Monitoring, Risk, and Internal Audit, and support tax authority examinations with complete, reproducible records. What We Look For In You 7+ years in tax information reporting, tax operations, or regulatory data reporting at a global exchange, broker, bank, fintech, or digital asset platform, including at least 3 years leading a team. Hands-on experience in a global, distributed digital asset business: you have worked with exchange or wallet transaction data, multiple legal entities, and users spread across many jurisdictions. This is required. Strong data skills. You can write SQL, define data specifications for engineers, reconcile large transaction datasets to a ledger, and find the gap when the numbers do not tie. You have built or run data quality controls on reporting output. Working knowledge of CARF, DAC8, CRS, and FATCA, including due diligence rules, self-certification requirements, reportable transaction categories, and the XML schemas used for exchange. Direct CARF or DAC8 implementation experience is strongly preferred given live DAC8 obligations and upcoming CARF reporting. Experience managing a tax reporting vendor or reporting platform, including scoping, testing, and holding the vendor to a delivery calendar. the tax platform vendor experience is a plus. Experience building a function from a small base: writing the policy, designing the controls, hiring the team, and running the first cycle. Ability to explain data and tax issues plainly to executives, engineers, and local compliance officers, and to run a steering committee. Judgment on when to escalate, comfort working across US, EU, and Asia time zones, and a record of meeting hard filing deadlines. Nice to Haves Experience with US Form 1099-DA or 1099-B production, backup withholding, or Qualified Intermediary reporting. Experience with the DAC8 60-day account restriction process or equivalent undocumented account remediation at scale. Familiarity with GDPR requirements for sharing customer data with tax authorities, including data protection impact assessments. Python or similar scripting for data validation, and experience with data warehouse tools such as Databricks. Experience working inside a Three Lines Model, including supporting second-line monitoring and Internal Audit. A CPA, chartered tax adviser, or equivalent; or a degree in data science, computer science, or accounting. Perks & Benefits Competitive total compensation package L&D programs and Education subsidy for employees' growth and development Various team building programs and company events More that we love to tell you along the process! ABOUT MOTHERDUCK Don’t let the quirky name fool you: At MotherDuck, we’re on a mission to make data warehousing fun, frictionless, and ducking awesome for developers and data practitioners building blazing fast internal and customer-facing analytics experiences. We’re building a cloud-hosted version of DuckDB, working hand-in-hand with the creators of the fastest-growing and fastest-improving query engine on the planet. Unlike other databases, MotherDuck was architected to unify local development with cloud operations to bridge the gap between software and data engineering workflows. Our team is a mix of thoughtful, passionate, and empathetic data industry veterans. About the role We’re looking for a growth and performance marketer who goes after 10x, not 10%... someone who can dream up an unorthodox bet on Monday, ship the landing page by Wednesday, and tell us whether it worked by Friday. You’ll own the creative and demand gen side of growth, with support on strategy from your manager and full ownership of execution. Right now that means landing page and conversion testing, campaigns across paid, organic, and lifecycle, social, webinars, events, AEO, re-engagement, and creative bets to get more of the right people signing up. But that’s a starting point, not a queue... we expect you to bring your own ideas about where the next win is. What you’ll do Own campaigns from idea to results - Take plays from spec to live: audience, message, channel, landing page, conversion. - Work both motions: self-serve signups that need to activate, and accounts that need to become sales pipeline. - Build the demand gen assets that make campaigns go: landing pages, ad creative, emails, webinar promos, and whatever else the idea needs. Think big and be unorthodox - Run creative bets that a more cautious team wouldn’t try. Some will flop... that’s part of it, as long as you know why. - Spot what no one owns and treat it as an opening, not a blocker. Test a lot, and be honest about it - Run a real volume of tests: landing pages, signup flow, ad creative, email, audiences. A high test count is the job, not a sign you’re thrashing. - Decide what success looks like before something ships, and call out a loss out loud, even when it’s your own play. Sweat the details - Tracking, UTMs, audience setup, page QA... the unglamorous stuff that makes results trustworthy. Own social and nurture - Own social strategy end to end, including managing our social agency. - Own email nurture content and design, with your manager weighing in on strategy and voice. Scale what works, kill what doesn’t - Hand proven winners to marketing ops to productionize, then move on to the next unproven thing. - Flag plateaus early instead of keeping a play alive just because it’s yours. What we’re looking for - 5+ years in performance marketing, channel marketing, demand gen, or a scrappy generalist marketing role, or a track record of building growth things on your own that speaks for itself. - Creative and detail-oriented in equal measure. You come up with the idea and catch the broken UTM. - Real growth instincts. You think in funnels and conversion, not just impressions and reach. - A resume with real quantitative results: signups, conversion lifts, pipeline contribution, cost per lead or SQA, that kind of thing. - Hands-on with the tools of the trade: HubSpot, landing page builders, and AI tools you actually use to move faster. - Background at a high-growth company (data/AI space preferred, but a Ramp-equivalent is fine too). - Great writing, and credibility with a developer and data audience. - A bias toward shipping. - Experience with AEO: getting a brand to show up in answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and the like. - Hands-on paid experience across Google, Meta, and LinkedIn, from audience setup through creative testing and optimization. - Experience building segments and audiences in Clay (or similar), especially ones that feed ad platforms or campaigns. What people should be saying if you’re doing ducking awesome - “I stopped worrying about whether the campaign was set up right months ago.” - “That campaign is why we booked that meeting.” - “I just productionized three of their plays this month and they’re already onto the next thing.” - “That play flopped, here’s exactly why, here’s what I’m testing next.” Our Interview Process We like to keep things transparent, so here’s what to expect if you apply... 1. Discovery call with our recruiting team to get acquainted and make sure we’re a mutual fit 2. A conversation with our Growth lead to learn about the campaigns you’ve run, the unorthodox bets you’ve taken, and how you think about turning attention into signups and pipeline 3. A deeper conversation with our Growth team covering landing page and conversion testing, how you’d measure a campaign, and a walkthrough of a campaign or test you’ve owned, including what flopped and why 4. A final conversation with our CEO focused on values and vision PLEASE APPLY Does this role sound appealing to you, but you’re missing some of the requirements or don’t quite think you’re qualified? Please apply anyway. Research has shown that underrepresented groups in technology often shy away from roles which aren’t a 100% match. We aim to build a diverse team and will strongly consider applicants who bring many of the requirements plus have other experiences which round out their qualifications. MotherDuck is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, gender (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, status as a protected veteran, status as an individual with a disability, or other applicable legally protected characteristics. MotherDuck is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to applicants with physical and mental disabilities.
