Location: Beograd, Serbia

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for forward-thinking, high-performing AI Engineers who are excited to pioneer the future of AI-driven engineering at Paysend. In this role, you will work hands-on with Claude Code and the Anthropic API to design, harden, and ship agentic systems that write, review, test, and deploy code. This is a high-impact, build-and-own opportunity: you will take cutting-edge AI prototypes and turn them into resilient production infrastructure - directly empowering our global engineering teams, accelerating our product velocity, and helping us solidify Paysend as the definitive end-to-end payment infrastructure for the modern world.
THE ENGINEERING PROBLEM
The problem is not to make an LLM generate code. The problem is to make AI-assisted and agentic software delivery reliable enough to become part of normal engineering work.
These systems operate inside real software delivery workflows. They need to deal with incomplete context, failed execution, incorrect assumptions, external dependencies, changing repository state, and cases where an agent should not continue on its own. This means designing clear execution boundaries, decision points, observability, recovery and escalation paths, not only the agent behaviour itself.
The role includes shaping how these systems work, not only implementing integrations with existing AI tools.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Design end-to-end AI-assisted delivery workflows, including agent responsibilities, execution boundaries, decision points, human intervention, failure handling, recovery, and escalation
Design and refine AI-driven pipelines that automate coding, code review, testing, and deployment tasks
Build and optimise agentic workflows using Claude Code and the Anthropic API, including custom tooling, MCP server integrations, sub-agents, and stateful orchestration logic
Engineer robust prompts, benchmark suites, and automated eval datasets; measure and improve pipeline accuracy, latency, and API costs
Define workflow-specific success criteria and operational evidence, including correctness, reliability, intervention and escalation rates, failure modes, and recovery effectiveness
Integrate core Anthropic capabilities (tool use, structured outputs, prompt caching, batch processing) into internal developer platforms
Handle unglamorous production work: sandboxed execution, strict error handling, retries, observability, guardrails, and edge cases
Own these systems after initial implementation: observe how they behave in real engineering workflows, investigate failures and incorrect behaviour, and improve the system based on operational evidence
Partner with engineers across the org to identify automation opportunities and roll out agentic tools safely with human-in-the-loop review mechanisms
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Strong software engineering background, with experience designing, building, and operating production systems, and strong hands-on experience with Python or TypeScript
Ability to decompose end-to-end engineering workflows, identify decision boundaries, failure modes, dependencies, observability needs, and recovery paths
Direct, hands-on experience with Claude Code—you've used it beyond casual experimentation and understand its strengths, limits, and configuration (CLAUDE.md, sub-agents, hooks)
Experience building with LLM APIs: prompt engineering, tool/function calling, structured outputs, context window optimization, agentic loops, and evaluation
Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) server integration and custom workflows
Comfort turning prototypes into production systems: CI/CD integration, containerized execution, reliability engineering, and monitoring
Pragmatic judgment about where AI automation helps and where traditional deterministic logic or human oversight is required
NICE TO HAVE
Experience with agent orchestration frameworks or building custom agent harnesses/tooling
Track record shipping internal developer platforms or CLI tooling
Contributions to open-source AI frameworks, developer tools, or MCP servers

ABOUT PEEC AI
Peec AI is the analytics platform for AI search. People increasingly discover products and make buying decisions through ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Google's AI Overviews instead of traditional search, and most brands have no idea where they show up in those answers. Peec gives marketing, SEO, and growth teams the data to see exactly that: how visible their brand is across AI platforms, how they compare to competitors, and where to win.
We are defining this category, and the market is moving with us. Peec is a Series A company backed by 20VC and Singular, that went from $0 to $15M ARR in 18 months, with a 100+ person team across our Berlin HQ and our New York office.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Peec AI is building the data plane for AI visibility: millions of chats, scrapes, citations, sources, model responses, and customer-facing insights running through a fast-moving backend.
This role is for an engineer who wants to own the systems behind that. You will not just add endpoints or close tickets. You will make our scraping, chat-processing, source-ingestion, and analytics infrastructure more reliable, cheaper, faster, and easier for the rest of the team to reason about.
The best fit looks like someone who can debug a provider outage in the morning, design a better queueing model before lunch, ship a TypeScript service change in the afternoon, and write the postmortem or follow-up ticket clearly enough that the next engineer immediately knows what to do.
We are especially interested in people who have built or operated systems with real constraints: rate limits, flaky third-party APIs, queues, webhooks, retries, distributed locks, data migrations, observability gaps, customer pressure, and cost ceilings.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of backend, platform, infrastructure, or distributed systems engineering experience in a production environment.
- Deep hands-on TypeScript experience. We run TypeScript services on Bun, and we care about people who can design clean, reliable backend systems rather than only write application code.
- Strong understanding of queues, workers, retries, rate limits, idempotency, distributed locks, webhooks, and failure handling.
- Experience operating systems under real production pressure: incidents, provider outages, customer escalations, noisy alerts, slow dependencies, and incomplete data.
- Comfort with cloud-native infrastructure. Our stack includes GCP, Kubernetes, Cloud Tasks, Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, Redis, Postgres, Firestore, ClickHouse, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Ability to debug across layers: application code, logs, metrics, queues, provider APIs, databases, network behaviour, and deployment state.
- Product-minded judgement. You can separate internal detail from customer-safe explanation, and you understand when a “small infra change” has customer, security, or cost implications.
- High ownership and low ego. We want people who take responsibility for ambiguous systems, ask sharp questions, and make the team better through clear thinking and kindness.
- A bias toward durable fixes. You do not stop at “restart the pod” if the real issue is retry amplification, missing backpressure, an unsafe parser assumption, or a provider limit we do not model.
TECH STACK
- Languages: TypeScript, Python
- Runtime/frameworks: Bun, Elysia, Node-compatible services
- Cloud/infrastructure: GCP, Kubernetes, Cloud Tasks, Pub/Sub, Firebase/Firestore, Postgres, ClickHouse, Redis, RabbitMQ
- Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, structured logging
- Product/data domain: LLM chats, AI search, source scraping, citation extraction, provider integrations, customer-facing analytics
- AI/model providers: OpenAI, Anthropic/Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Mode / AI Overview, plus scraping/provider APIs around them
WHAT WE OFFER
- Exciting and challenging work with real impact and ownership at one of Europe’s fastest-growing Series A startups
- Regular team events and off-sites
- Aggressive equity compensation package
- Paid Dinner & Uber home when working late
- The most beautiful office space and work environment in Berlin

- Localisation Management: Coordinate multilingual content and translations through localisation platforms, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance with technical and market requirements.
- Workflow Optimisation & Quality Assurance: Analyse existing processes, identify inefficiencies and introduce automated solutions to reduce manual effort, minimise errors and improve content validation.
- Game Documentation & Compliance: Create and maintain game documentation, support game and feature naming, and ensure content meets relevant regulatory and market requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, Mathematicians and Designers to ensure content is accurately created, implemented, tested and delivered throughout the game development lifecycle.
- Continuous Improvement & Ownership: Proactively explore emerging technologies, take ownership of content-related activities and drive technical improvements that enhance team productivity and reduce unnecessary developer dependency.
Requirements
- Experience in content management, technical content implementation, workflow automation or a related role, ideally within iGaming, gaming or a software-driven environment.
- Good understanding of JavaScript, with the ability to read, understand and modify code, evaluate AI-generated solutions and implement straightforward technical changes independently.
- Practical experience using AI tools, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or AI coding assistants, to generate code, solve technical challenges and improve existing workflows.
- Hands-on experience developing scripts, automation tools or technical solutions that streamline processes, reduce repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Confidence working with JSON, XML, HTML.
- Understanding of basic programming concepts, code quality and development conventions, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and recognise when developer support is required.
- Familiarity with code editors or development environments such as VSCode, WebStorm or Cursor, and a willingness to learn new technical tools.
- Excellent written English, with strong attention to detail and the ability to create clear, accurate and engaging game-related content.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and the ability to independently manage technical challenges, multiple priorities and project deadlines.
- Proactive, curious and innovative mindset, with strong ownership, effective cross-functional communication and a genuine interest in AI, automation and continuous improvement.
Nice to Have
- Experience developing AI applications using OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or similar model APIs.
- Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript, including the ability to read, understand and modify existing code to support content implementation, automation and workflow improvements.
- Understanding of the game development lifecycle, particularly within iGaming or online slot games.

ROLE HIGHLIGHTS:
- ISR Cell Operator - Germany
- Location: Berlin, Germany
- Department: ICEYE Germany
- Reports to: Head of Intelligence, ICEYE Germany
- Employment type: Permanent
- Workplace model: On-site / shift-based
- Employment is subject to applicable security screening (incl. SUPO, and German Ü2/Ü3 where required)
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS:
Be the operational backbone that keeps ICEYE Germany's intelligence delivery running — from the moment a tasking request comes in to the moment actionable insight reaches the customer.
You are the person who ensures satellite collection is coordinated, data is monitored, and customers receive timely, accurate intelligence products. You will work across mission planning, data interpretation, and direct customer engagement — keeping ICEYE Germany's operational tempo high and its output trustworthy. You will also serve as a key interface to Germany-based government and defence customers, translating their operational requirements into executable satellite collection plans.
This is an operational role with real stakes. The intelligence you coordinate and deliver informs decisions in national security, disaster response, and critical infrastructure protection.
WHO WE ARE
ICEYE is the world leader in sovereign intelligence from space. We deliver persistent monitoring capabilities to detect and respond to changes in any location on Earth.
ICEYE owns the world's largest and most advanced SAR (synthetic aperture radar) satellite constellation. To our customers we provide intelligence with unmatched quality, latency and revisit times, in any weather, day or night. To governments who choose to operate their own constellation we provide this proven capability as a sovereign system.
ICEYE-built constellations serve customers in defence and intelligence, environmental monitoring, insurance and emergency management. We enable fast decisions that contribute to a safer future.
Founded and headquartered in Finland, ICEYE operates globally with over 1000 employees across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
Run the operations cell. Manage and prioritize satellite tasking requests for Germany and surrounding regions. Coordinate with internal mission planning teams to optimize collection schedules and ensure timely execution of customer requirements.
Own real-time monitoring. Track satellite passes, collection status, and delivery timelines across active missions. Respond to time-sensitive or high-priority tasking requests with speed and precision.
Interpret and report. Review SAR imagery and derived products to identify relevant changes or events. Generate concise, actionable intelligence reports for customers and support rapid dissemination during critical situations — natural disasters, security incidents, and time-critical government requirements.
Engage customers and stakeholders. Act as the primary operational point of contact for Germany-based customers, including government and defence agencies. Translate their mission requirements into executable tasking plans and keep them informed on collection status and product delivery.
Maintain the operational picture. Keep situational awareness of regional events — across Germany and the wider DACH region — that affect ISR priorities and collection planning.
Strengthen the function. Contribute to process improvements, operational best practices, and the onboarding and training of new team members as the cell grows.
What We Measure After Twelve Months
- Germany-focused tasking requests are executed on time and to customer specification, with no critical gaps in coverage.
- Customer satisfaction among German government and defence accounts is high, with repeat engagement on priority programmes.
- Operational processes are documented, repeatable, and resilient to staff changes or surge demand.
- The ISR cell is capable of supporting classified collection workflows at the classification levels enabled by ICEYE Germany's security posture.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Must haves:
- Experience in ISR operations, geospatial analysis, satellite operations, or a directly comparable operational environment — ideally within the Bundeswehr, a German federal security agency (BND, BfV, Federal Police), or a defence industry context.
- Familiarity with SAR imagery and remote sensing data, and the ability to interpret complex datasets under time pressure.
- Knowledge of GIS tools such as QGIS or ArcGIS, or comparable imagery analysis platforms.
- Background with government, defence, or security customers in Germany or the DACH region, and an understanding of how these organisations task, consume, and act on intelligence products.
- Experience in a 24/7 operations or command centre environment is a strong advantage.
- Engineering or software background that supports understanding of data pipelines, collection systems, or geospatial platforms.
- Eligibility for German security clearance (Sicherheitsüberprüfung Ü2/Ü3) is required. Existing clearance is a significant advantage.
- Fluent English, with the ability to communicate clearly at both working and customer level. German is beneficial but not a hard criteria.
- Valid European drivers license B
Application Process
- Intro conversation with Talent Attraction
- Hiring manager interview with Head of Intelligence, ICEYE Germany
- Technical case: a take-home operational planning exercise
- Cross-functional interviews with Operations Lead ISR, Intelligence Products, and a senior ICEYE leader
- Final conversation with the CEO, ICEYE Germany

About the Role
We're hiring a technically strong Senior Data Analyst to help modernize how our FP&A organization uses data, analytics, and automation. This is an embedded Finance role: you'll report directly to the FP&A Director and work side by side with her day to day while partnering closely with our central Data Analytics and Data Engineering teams on infrastructure, standards, and complex technical problems. It's a hands-on execution role for someone who builds.
Financial and operational data at Welocalize lives across multiple systems - Workday Financials, Adaptive Planning, Salesforce, a Redshift data warehouse, Power BI, and years of Excel workbooks carrying critical processes. Much of it doesn't connect cleanly, and a lot of institutional knowledge lives in undocumented spreadsheets, manual processes, and Power Queries rather than any system of record.
You might start with a complex, years-old Excel workbook and a simple prompt: “This is how we do this today.” Your job isn't to automate the workbook as-is - it's to understand its purpose, trace its logic to source, figure out what users actually need, and design something better: a rebuilt pipeline, a SQL/Python replacement, a driver-based view, an exception-monitoring workflow, or an AI-assisted tool.
We're just starting to build out an FP&A AI repository - documentation, business logic, and workflows meant to let AI reliably execute FP&A processes, not just answer one-off questions - and you'll partner with us to determine its direction.
This role is a deliberate combination of three things:
1. Fluency with data itself - the ability to query, shape, and manipulate data directly.
2. An engineering mindset - building automated, repeatable systems (workflows and dashboards that run and refresh on their own, integrations across tools) rather than one-off analysis, and knowing how to scope and coordinate real pipeline or data mart work with Data Engineering.
3. An investigative instinct - the ability to look at data and figure out what it's telling us, not just execute a report exactly as specified.
What You'll Do
Partner directly with FP&A leadership to understand existing reporting, analytical, and planning processes and identify where they should fundamentally change, not just get faster.
• Reverse-engineer complex Excel workbooks and manual processes to understand their data sources, business logic, calculations, and the questions their users are actually trying to answer.
• Design and build automated solutions using SQL, Python, ETL/data transformation, APIs, and modern AI tools.
• Work through large, imperfect, multi-system datasets - resolving data quality, mapping, reconciliation, and grain issues along the way.
• Perform exploratory analysis to identify trends, anomalies, relationships, and underlying business drivers, rather than simply reporting what happened.
• Design dashboards and reporting experiences around the decisions people actually need to make, not a recreation of an existing spreadsheet in a new tool.
• Build AI-assisted, interactive HTML reporting tools - developed with the help of AI coding tools and engineered to refresh efficiently on their own, without repeated AI calls.
• Develop driver-based analysis, exception reporting, and monitoring approaches that surface important changes proactively.
• Explore and build AI-assisted and agentic workflows - including ways for LLMs to interact with data, tools, APIs, and reporting processes.
• Partner with the central Data Analytics and Data Engineering teams on shared data infrastructure and standards - including scoping and coordinating data pipeline and data mart requests.
• Contribute in a leadership capacity within the analytics function even without formal management responsibility - shaping how problems get approached, mentoring by example, and helping set the bar for analytical rigor.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insight for Finance leaders and other business stakeholders.
• Partner in building out our FP&A AI repository - the documentation, conventions, and workflows meant to let an AI assistant execute FP&A processes reliably - and help shape its direction as we go.
How You Think
Technical skills matter, but how you approach problems matters just as much. We're looking for someone who:
• Is genuinely curious and naturally asks “why?” when something doesn't reconcile or doesn't make sense.
• Enjoys digging into messy or unfamiliar data and figuring out how things connect.
• Doesn't assume an existing process or report is right simply because that's how it's always been done.
• Can take an ambiguous problem and independently structure an approach to solving it, while knowing when to pull others in rather than spinning wheels alone.
• Looks beyond the initial request to identify opportunities, risks, and better approaches the requester may not have thought to ask for.
• Enjoys collaborative problem-solving - bouncing ideas around, testing hypotheses, and challenging assumptions to get to a stronger answer.
• Takes ownership of the areas they work in - the business purpose, the data, the known issues, and the opportunities for improvement - rather than treating each request as a one-off ticket.
• Likes building things, experimenting, and continuously improving how work gets done.
Required Skills and Experience
5-10 years of relevant experience required. You should be genuinely, hands-on strong across:
• SQL - comfortable joining tables, tracing grain, finding duplicates, and validating results in unfamiliar schemas.
• Python - practical proficiency for data transformation, analysis, and automation.
• ETL/ELT fluency - strong enough understanding of pipeline design to define data requirements, validate output, and partner effectively with Data Engineering on pipeline and data mart requests. Hands-on pipeline-building experience is a plus.
• Report and dashboard building - able to design and build a reporting/analytical experience end-to-end, whether on a modern BI platform (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar) or as a standalone interactive HTML/web-based report. Standalone HTML/web-based reports are increasingly our primary format.
• Automation - demonstrated experience automating manual, recurring data or reporting workflows.
• Comfort learning and adopting new AI-assisted tools and workflows - you should be genuinely curious about this space and ready to build fluency quickly on the job.
• Advanced Excel, including the ability to deconstruct sophisticated, undocumented legacy workbooks.
• Demonstrated ability to explore data and figure out why something happened - forming and testing your own hypotheses, not just reporting what happened.
• Fluent English, spoken and written. This is a fully remote role and you'll communicate directly, in English, with business stakeholders and executive leadership as well as data analysts and engineers across our global organization, where English is the shared working language.
Preferred Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related quantitative/technical field strongly preferred; equivalent experience acceptable. Master's degree is a plus.
• Experience supporting Finance, FP&A, Strategy, Operations, or another analytically intensive business function.
• Familiarity with financial concepts such as revenue, margin, profitability, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Experience modernizing legacy Excel-based reporting or analytical processes.
• Experience working in an environment where data is distributed across multiple systems and isn't always perfectly documented.
• Experience working effectively in a fully remote, distributed team environment.
• Exposure to AI/agentic tooling, or experience helping design how AI gets applied to a business process (e.g., LLM workflows, tool/function calling, RAG, MCP, building AI-assisted reporting or automation).
• Machine learning, statistical modeling, or formal data science experience is welcome but not required.
