We're a small, growing marketing team. We’re seeking a systems thinker who can contribute marketing ideas, tasks and projects with a combination of elbow grease, AI skills, creative problem solving and drawing on their lived experience. This person will get pointed at a problem and expected to solve it, sometimes with minimal direction and assistance.
Metabase is used by hundreds of thousands of people to answer questions about their own data, most of whom aren't analysts. We've always believed the best marketing for a tool like ours comes from people who use it. So we're looking for someone who is closer to our user than to a traditional marketing résumé: you've been the person on a team who figured out the data, wired up the integration, built the dashboard nobody asked for, and then explained it to everyone else. You bring that confidence to other tasks, including those you’re trying for the first time.
If you've used Metabase, or you write SQL and have opinions about BI tools, we especially want to hear from you. You'd be marketing to yourself, which is a big advantage. You’ll be working closely with everyone on the marketing team, reporting directly to the VP of Marketing. You'd be joining at a point where the marketing team is small enough that what you build becomes how we do things.
Responsibilities
The specifics will shift dramatically. Over the first year, expect a mix of:
Helping build and refine our marketing stack the way an engineer would: know what's connected to what, what's breaking, and what's quietly costing us money.
Building integrations and automations between our tools using APIs, webhooks, MCPs and whatever glue is appropriate
Publishing and managing webpages via github; optimizing via A/B tests; spinning up landing pages with minimal direction.
Owning smaller channel experiments end to end, from hypothesis to write-up, including (especially) the ones that fail.
Supporting our community events programs, including logistics, speaker wrangling, pre- and post-event comms, the data collection that makes an event worthwhile.
Pressure-testing our messaging against your own experience as a data-curious person who uses tools like ours.
What we're looking for
You don't need a traditional marketing background. You do need to be data-curious, technically fearless and close to our target persona. The core traits we’re looking for are some combination of:
You've used Metabase or are comfortable writing SQL.
You have fluency with AI tools and know when to apply them.
You communicate clearly in writing, which is vital for our remote, async culture.
You have high-agency, are resourceful and are comfortable learning new things.
You have experience in analytics, ops, support, consulting, engineering, product, or marketing.
Working at Metabase
Amazing views from our beautiful
downtown San Francisco office
Zoom channel
Unlimited PTO, and a team that takes it
Substantial equity in a venture-funded company
Remote-first and async by default
Small, engineering-led, and opinionated about building a product people like using
We're bringing data tools with the elegance and simplicity of consumer products to the crufty world of enterprise business intelligence.
Compensation
The US base salary range for this role is
$71.7K–$130K annually
, plus equity and benefits.
Compensation is determined by role, level, location, and individual qualifications, including skills, experience, and scope of responsibility. Pay may vary by geographic location and other job-related factors.
US Benefits
Our US benefits package also includes fully employer-covered medical, dental, and vision insurance (with 75% coverage for dependents), a 401(k) with employer match available to enroll after the first 30 days.
How to apply
Send us a resume and a short cover note. We read them.
In the note, we'd love to know:
What you've built or figured out that you're proud of, even if it was small and internal
How you've used Metabase, or where you've used SQL
Metabase is an equal opportunity employer. We're building a team of people with different backgrounds, and we mean it.

What you’ll be part of
Garner is on a mission to transform the U.S. healthcare system — and we’re the only proven player doing exactly that. We partner with employers to redesign how healthcare works: applying 550+ proprietary clinical metrics across 80+ specialties to a dataset of 320M+ patients to identify the best-performing doctors, then using compelling incentives to steer members to the care that helps them get healthier, faster.
The result is a rare “win win” — better care and lower costs for both members and employers. In just five years, our work has helped over 2.5 million people access higher-quality care and saved $1B in healthcare costs. We recently raised our Series E and have doubled five years running. If you've ever wanted your work to solve a problem that touches every person in this country, this is the opportunity to do exactly that. You'd be joining a team fundamentally reimagining healthcare in the U.S. — and using AI to scale that impact further and faster than anyone else can.
Who we want
This is a role for someone who wants to work on a hard problem, deliver real impact and be pushed to be the best version of themselves. As an Associate Applied Scientist, you’ll be embedded in the Applied Science team. Our members rely on us to answer hard questions — Which doctor should I see? What will it cost? When should we reach out, and how? — and the quality of those answers is determined by the algorithms behind them.
This is not a dashboards or descriptive-analytics role. You will own production systems end-to-end: framing the problem, defining the objective function, choosing the right approach (ML, optimization, heuristics, expert systems, or a hybrid), shipping it, and improving it against real-world outcomes. The closest analog outside healthcare is a quantitative researcher at a top hedge fund.
What you will do
Ship production algorithmic systems end-to-end, from problem framing to launch to iteration
Frame messy, real-world healthcare and business constraints into clear objectives, tradeoffs, and decision frameworks
Define the set of metrics needed to judge whether a solution is working, and validate solutions before they ship
Choose the right approach for each problem, from machine learning to optimization to heuristics to simple rules, based on what the problem actually calls for
Bring new ideas to your work, experimenting with approaches beyond the obvious to get better results
Produce rigorous, well-validated work others can rely on, and review your peers' code and analyses
Build a deep understanding of the healthcare economy and Garner's place in it
To make the role concrete, here are two problems on our near-term roadmap:
Provider tiering optimization.
Build a tiering algorithm that jointly optimizes geographic access and total-cost-of-care savings across our doctor network. The objective function, constraints, and tradeoff surface are all open design questions.
Member engagement model.
Build an ML system that ingests claims data and in-app behavior to choose the right channel and moment for each touchpoint — SMS, push, phone, or email — to influence member behavior toward better-quality, lower-cost care.
What we're looking for
A Bachelor's or Master's degree (in progress) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related STEM field, with an expected graduation date of Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.
A bias toward action, quickly translating ideas into working prototypes to test approaches.
Strong applied problem-solving skills, with the ability to define good metrics and then deliver solutions that improve them.
A solid command of the methods your work calls for and the data your models depend on.
Strong judgment in choosing between statistical models, heuristics, optimization approaches, and simpler algorithmic methods depending on the problem.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present your work clearly to senior stakeholders.
A desire to do work that matters: and to be held to a high standard while doing it. You're energized by a mission with measurable outcomes, not just good intentions. You engage with AI tools as part of how you do your best work, and hold yourself accountable to outcomes that matter beyond your team’s metrics.
What you’ll get here
You’ll work on problems that matter, at a company working to change healthcare at scale. You’ll work at the intersection of AI and systemic healthcare reform, where the problems we solve are as interesting and compelling as the mission.
At Garner, you’ll take on real, ambitious problems with real ownership and autonomy, alongside exceptional, principles-based people who genuinely want you to win. It’s demanding by design. You’ll be challenged to stretch beyond what you thought possible and receive consistent coaching to help you grow and do the best work of your career. This isn't the right fit for everyone, and that's intentional. The people here are driven by what's at stake for real people, and that's what gives our intensity its purpose.
Technologies we use
Python, SQL, AWS, Snowflake, pandas, XGBoost, PyTorch, HuggingFace, modern LLM tooling and eval frameworks. We pick tools based on the problem, not the resume — bring your judgment.
Please note: we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
Compensation
The target base comp range for this role is $150,000. Individual compensation will depend on qualifications, skills, and applicable laws.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive plan and benefits package, including: flexible PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision plan options, 401(k) with company match, flexible spending accounts, Teladoc Health, and more.
Few roles offer this combination: work that is genuinely hard, a mission that is genuinely important, and a team that is genuinely invested in your success. If that’s what you’re looking for, we’d love to meet you.

The Role
You'll own a mostly greenfield enterprise territory and have a core focus on generating new logos
New business usually starts with a team already running ClickHouse — open source, or a Cloud account someone expensed — until a bill or a security review pushes the conversation up to the platform team and the budget owner. Common triggers: an Elasticsearch or Splunk bill that's hard to defend, a warehouse that can't serve a customer-facing feature fast enough, an AI product querying tens of billions of rows.
What You Will Be Doing
- Own the full sales cycle for both new and existing accounts in your territory — first conversation through security review, procurement, and close, on Cloud commitments and multi-year committed spend.
- Grow your install base by landing new teams and new use cases inside accounts that already buy from us.
- Own renewals and consumption commitments, working with your Solutions Architect and Support to get ahead of usage and churn risk.
- Watch consumption trends across your accounts and engage early when usage flattens or spikes. Both are signals.
- Find and convert existing ClickHouse usage in new accounts. Unmanaged open-source deployments and self-serve Cloud accounts are the highest-yield source of new pipeline in this segment.
- Multi-thread across the data platform team, the budget owner, security, and the executive sponsor rather than relying on a single champion.
- Work with your Solutions Architect through the technical evaluation. They own the technical win, you own the commercial strategy and the close.
- Run the procurement path: security questionnaires, legal redlines, vendor onboarding, and BYOC or private-deployment requirements.
- Give your champion the internal business case — TCO comparison against the incumbent, migration plan, and risk mitigation.
- Map the remaining teams and use cases in each account and build an expansion plan against them.
- Keep Salesforce accurate and submit a forecast leadership can plan against, across both new business and expansion.
- Participate in the developer community in your territory: meetups, conferences, and events.
What You Bring
- 6+ years selling technical infrastructure to enterprise buyers — databases, data platforms, cloud infrastructure, observability, or developer tooling.
- A track record closing complex deals that went through security review, legal, and procurement.
- Enough technical fluency to hold an architecture conversation. You don't need to write SQL, but you should be able to explain why a company moves a workload off Elasticsearch.
- Experience carrying a hybrid quota — new business alongside expansion and renewal — and the discipline to work both rather than defaulting to whichever is easier that quarter.
- Experience with consumption-based or usage-metered commercial models, where revenue moves with usage between contract events.
- Experience selling into developer-led, bottom-up adoption as well as top-down.
- Ability to orchestrate people who don't report to you — Solutions Architects, executive sponsors, partners, product managers.
- Accurate forecasting, including when the number is bad.
PERKS
- Flexible work environment - ClickHouse is a globally distributed company and remote-friendly. We currently operate in over 25 countries.
- Healthcare - Employer contributions towards your healthcare.
- Equity in the company - Every new team member who joins our company receives stock options.
- Time off - Flexible time off in the US, generous entitlement in other countries.
- A USD$500 Home office setup if you’re a remote employee.
- Global Gatherings – We believe in the power of in-person connection and offer opportunities to engage with colleagues at company-wide offsites.

The Role

As a subsidiary of Sony Group Corporation, we’re part of a proud legacy of innovation and excellence. SIE is a dynamic technology company, delivering cutting-edge hardware and network services to more than 100 million people and an entertainment leader, home to some of the most beloved and recognizable intellectual properties (IP) in the world. Our role at SIE is to create and nurture the experiences under the PlayStation brand, a name synonymous with entertainment excellence and creativity.
Global Content Communications Senior Specialist
San Mateo, CA (Collab)
Role Overview
Within Global Content Communications, this role will help shape how PlayStation collaborates with game publishers and developers, and will take a prominent role in planning, creating, and managing content focused on third-party titles published on PlayStation. Our goal is to elevate our third-party partners and create the most engaging content for gamers around the world.
This role will identify and develop content opportunities around exciting upcoming games of all shapes and sizes working with Sony Interactive Entertainment's Global Developer and Publisher Relations team as well as external studios and publishers. Content types will include news articles on PlayStation.Blog, as well as gameplay videos and other socially optimized content for PlayStation social channels including Instagram, TikTok, and more. The ideal candidate will combine deep knowledge of the games industry with strong content-creation instincts, social media expertise, and an ability to build trusted relationships with internal teams and external partners.
The role will sit within Global Content Communications and partner closely with teams across Sony Interactive, including Global Communications, Global Third-Party Marketing, Third-Party Portfolio, and Games Account Management, as well as external game publishers and developers.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain deep knowledge of upcoming games, publisher plans, industry trends, and player interests to proactively identify promising content opportunities.
Proactively develop and pitch creative ideas for PlayStation Blog, social media, video, and other Sony Interactive-owned channels that give players new reasons to engage with upcoming games.
Shape content plans around major third-party game campaigns, identifying the moments, stories, and content most likely to resonate with PlayStation audiences globally.
Pitch and develop content opportunities including game reveals, new gameplay, developer interviews, hands-on coverage, original social content, and other creative storytelling.
Develop simple, scalable processes that help the team organize upcoming third-party campaigns and content opportunities.
Partner closely with Sony Interactive Third-Party Marketing, Games Account Management, and other internal teams to develop content opportunities for third-party games.
Work across Sony Interactive teams to connect third-party content opportunities with broader PlayStation priorities, including PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Store.
Develop content plans with Sony Interactive’s international social media teams in mind, identifying opportunities that can extend across markets and collaborating with regional teammates to support global campaigns.
Help publishers understand the value of partnering with PlayStation by sharing content performance, audience insights, and learnings from previous campaigns.
What We're Looking For
3-5 years of relevant experience in social media management and content creation, editorial content creation, corporate communications, content strategy, games marketing, or a related field.
Experience working in the video game industry is strongly preferred, given the need for this role to have deep and broad knowledge of the landscape. Candidates with a background in social media, editorial and content creation, communications, publisher relations, marketing, or third-party games will have the most relevant experience for this role. Candidates with relevant experience in entertainment, media, or other consumer-facing industries -- and a deep knowledge of games -- will also be considered.
Strong understanding of major social platforms and the types of content, formats, and storytelling approaches that resonate with their audiences.
Deep knowledge of the video game industry, including major publishers, developers, independent games, franchises, industry trends, and how games are communicated and marketed to players.
Strong editorial and creative instincts, with the ability to quickly identify what makes a game, announcement, asset, or developer story interesting to an audience.
Highly proactive and comfortable identifying and pursuing opportunities rather than waiting for assignments or incoming requests.
Experience working directly with external partners, with the confidence to pitch ideas, respond to opportunities, provide constructive feedback, and build trusted working relationships.
Experience developing content for global audiences and an understanding of how campaigns and creative ideas can be adapted or extended across international markets.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple games, campaigns, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
Comfortable working creatively within constraints, including developing compelling content opportunities when assets, timing, or resources may be limited.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and build alignment across internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborative, curious, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities and opportunities can change quickly.
Ability to use content performance and audience insights to inform future recommendations and demonstrate the value of content partnerships.
Requires familiarity with collaboration tools (Slack, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace), while working knowledge of common content creation tools is a major plus (Adobe Creative Suite such as Premiere Pro and Photoshop).
Education: BS preferred -- ideally in related fields such as PR/Communication, Marketing, or Film -- but not necessarily required with a strong portfolio or relevant job experience.
The ideal candidate will possess one or more of the following additional specialized skills
Proficiency using Adobe Premiere Pro to edit video, including vertical video formats like TikTok and Instagram Reels.
Expertise with creating native TikTok content, including deep knowledge of trends, content creation, and related production experience.
Professional-grade photography skills, including product, event, and creative photography.
Experience using AI to automate and improve content-gathering processes.
Experience with community management strategy and community relations programs.

You will:

- Support vulnerability management and operational security practices in ways that align with PCI and SOC 2 expectations.
- Participate in proactive threat hunting, detection improvement, and a 24x7 security incident response on-call rotation.
YOU BRING
- 5+ years of experience in information security, threat detection, security operations, detection engineering, or incident response, ideally in a cloud-native or product-focused environment.
- Strong experience investigating suspicious activity in web, API, authentication, and infrastructure telemetry, with the ability to distinguish attacker behavior from normal production noise.
- Demonstrated ability to review traffic and event patterns for signs of malicious activity, fraud, account abuse, credential attacks, reconnaissance, and exploitation attempts.
- Strong Python programming skills and the ability to write maintainable code for automation, enrichment, analysis, and security operations tooling.
- Experience building and tuning detections in a SIEM or detection platform and working with observability and logging systems such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or similar platforms.
- Experience operating or supporting a vulnerability management program, including triage, prioritization, remediation tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
- Familiarity with cloud and application security findings from platforms such as Wiz, including CNAPP, runtime, code, and vulnerability scanning use cases.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider, preferably AWS.
- Working knowledge of identity and access systems, modern authentication flows, and the security implications of internet-facing applications and APIs.
- Strong understanding of threat modeling, risk prioritization, and practical security controls across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
- Practical experience using AI tools in security workflows, along with sound judgment about AI-specific risks such as prompt injection, data leakage, excessive tool access, and weak auditability.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, especially in environments where security needs to move quickly with product and engineering teams.
- Drive and proactivity - everyone here is a builder and executor
TOOLS WE USE
We use Node and TypeScript on the server, leveraging the NestJS framework within a microservice-oriented architecture running on Kubernetes and AWS. On the client side, we build and ship product features for iOS, Android, and web platforms using React Native. About the Role
Osano is growing our outbound Business Development team, and we’re looking for BDRs who want to help shape how we build pipeline and connect with prospective customers.
This isn’t a role where success means following a rigid script or sending as many templated sequences as possible. We believe great outbound starts with curiosity, thoughtful research, and genuine conversations. You’ll have the autonomy to experiment with your approach, learn what resonates with our buyers, and bring new ideas to the team.
You’ll own your results while working closely with Sales and the broader GTM organization to build qualified pipeline and help companies understand how Osano can solve their privacy challenges.
What Success Looks Like
You prioritize quality and outcomes
We’re not looking to put every prospect in front of an Account Executive. Great BDRs understand when there’s a real opportunity to help and create conversations that are valuable for both the prospect and Osano.
You will:
Research prospects and accounts thoughtfully before reaching out
Understand a prospect’s business and potential privacy challenges
Qualify for genuine alignment, not simply interest
Take a consultative approach to conversations rather than a transactional one
Create qualified pipeline while being thoughtful about the time of our prospects and AEs
You use AI to work smarter
We want people who are curious about how AI and modern technology can make them better at their craft. You’ll use AI to improve research, personalize outreach, organize information, test ideas, and find more effective ways to connect with prospects, without losing the human element that makes great selling work.
You’re motivated to improve
You set a high bar for yourself and are always looking for ways to get better. You’re open to coaching, willing to experiment, and comfortable learning from both wins and misses. You don’t need someone constantly pushing you to take the next step — you bring that motivation with you.
What You’ll Do
Generate qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting into marketing, compliance, data security, legal, and privacy teams
Research accounts and identify organizations navigating evolving privacy and regulatory requirements
Create personalized, thoughtful outreach across multiple channels
Engage prospects through phone, email, social, and other creative approaches
Understand prospects’ goals and challenges and qualify opportunities before partnering with AEs
Build authentic relationships through curiosity, credibility, and genuine helpfulness
Stay current on privacy trends, regulations, competitors, and Osano’s evolving product suite
Collaborate with Account Executives and the broader GTM team to identify and pursue opportunities
Experiment with messaging, prospecting strategies, AI, and new tools to improve results
Share what you’re learning and help shape our outbound processes, messaging, and playbooks as we continue to grow
What You’ll Bring
A results-driven mindset and an understanding of how consistent prospecting activity translates into pipeline
