The engineering team at Chainalysis is inspired by solving the hardest technical challenges and building products that establish trust in cryptocurrencies. We're a global organization that thrives on challenging work and doing it alongside exceptionally talented teammates. Our industry evolves rapidly, and our mission is to build a flexible, AI-driven platform that automates entity resolution, optimizes data labeling pipelines, and creates predictive models that identify illicit patterns before they escalate.
Our data and solutions have been used to solve some of the world's most high-profile criminal cases and grow consumer access to cryptocurrency safely. Now, by pairing the industry's most trusted blockchain data with agents that reason, investigate, and act, we help our customers scale their workflows as the cryptocurrency economy becomes increasingly mainstream.
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in the Investigations group, you'll be a technical leader on the Government Systems team — the group responsible for the deployment platform and operational infrastructure that delivers Chainalysis Reactor to government and high-security customers.
The mission of the Government Systems team is to ensure that Chainalysis's most security-sensitive customers can run Reactor reliably in their own environments — including networks with strict access controls and limited connectivity. Government Systems sits at the intersection of infrastructure operations and product delivery. Product teams own their application code, but rely on Government Systems to provision environments, manage release pipelines, and operate the deployment platform. As a senior engineer you will be the connective tissue between these groups — setting technical direction, resolving cross-cutting issues, and ensuring the platform evolves to meet growing demands.
Note: This position requires eligibility to access U.S. Government information and systems. Due to applicable government security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role. Due to collaboration with Europe, we are highly prioritizing candidates based in EST timezone.
In this role, you'll:
- Lead the design and evolution of RKE2 Kubernetes clusters across development, acceptance, and production environments — driving upgrades, capacity planning, networking strategy, and operational resilience
- Architect and maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform) to provision and manage AWS-based environments, establishing patterns and modules that the team can scale with confidence
- Own the CI/CD platform (GitHub Actions) end-to-end — designing pipeline architecture, improving build performance, and ensuring releases flow reliably through staged environments
- Drive GitOps-based delivery strategy using Flux CD, defining standards for Helm charts and Kustomize overlays and ensuring consistent reconciliation across clusters
- Define container image lifecycle policies — building, signing, storing, and distributing images across OCI registries for multiple deployment targets
- Identify and eliminate operational toil through automation, improving environment provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes at a systemic level
- Establish and maintain monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices — owning dashboards, runbooks, and post-incident reviews that raise platform reliability over time
- Serve as a technical point of contact for product service teams integrating into the deployment pipeline — unblocking teams, troubleshooting complex environment issues, and advocating for infrastructure best practices
- Own the security posture of the deployment platform — managing secrets, certificates, RBAC policies, and security configurations to meet compliance and operational security requirements
- Mentor and grow other engineers on the team through code review, pairing, design discussions, and knowledge sharing
We're looking for candidates who have:
- Deep experience operating Kubernetes in production at scale — cluster lifecycle management, Helm, networking, persistent storage, performance tuning, and complex workload troubleshooting
- Expert-level proficiency with Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure across multiple environments, including module design and state management strategies
- Strong Linux systems administration skills (RHEL or similar — networking, storage, systemd, performance analysis, shell scripting)
- Extensive experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar), with a focus on reliability, speed, and developer experience
- Deep familiarity with AWS services commonly used in infrastructure (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, EBS, Lambda, and related networking and security services)
- A strong operational mindset — you take ownership of reliability, think about failure modes proactively, and build automation to prevent recurring issues before they impact customers
Nice to have experience:
- Experience with GitOps tools such as Flux CD or ArgoCD in complex, multi-environment setups — including designing promotion strategies and managing drift
- Familiarity with container registry operations, image distribution, OCI artifact management, and image signing or verification workflows
- Experience managing databases in Kubernetes environments (e.g., PostgreSQL operators, stateful workloads, backup and recovery strategies)
- Familiarity with Kafka or other message brokers in a containerized environment, including operational management and scaling
- Experience with configuration management or automation tools (Ansible or similar) at fleet scale
- Advanced scripting proficiency in Python for infrastructure automation, tooling, and integration work
- Experience supporting environments with strict security or compliance requirements (FedRAMP, FIPS, IL environments, or similar)
- Exposure to or passion for the cryptocurrency technology ecosystem
Technologies we use:
- Kubernetes: RKE2, Helm, Kustomize, Flux CD
- Cloud provider: AWS (EC2, S3, EBS, VPC, IAM, Lambda)
- Infrastructure as code: Terraform
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions, semantic-release
- Monitoring and alerting: Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Humio
- Scripting and automation: Shell, Python
- Container registries: OCI/Docker
- Database management: PostgreSQL
- Event streaming: Kafka
- Operating systems: RHEL, Rocky Linux, Amazon Linux
AI at Chainalysis

AI fluency is tied directly to how we measure performance and how we plan to win. There is no substitute for your own curiosity. We provide the tools, workflows, and space to experiment - but the expectation is that you develop these capabilities yourself, bring ideas, and collaborate across teams to reinvent the way work gets done. We are not using AI to do less. We are using it to do what was never possible before.

ABOUT YOU
We're looking for a commercially driven, analytically sharp, and results-oriented Account Manager to join the Xsolla Offerwall team. This is an exciting opportunity to own the advertiser side of a premium rewarded inventory network at the intersection of mobile gaming, user acquisition, and advertising technology. The best candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment and is passionate about helping game studios achieve their acquisition goals through performance-driven advertising.
In this client-facing role, you'll build and grow relationships with gaming studios and UA teams, optimizing campaign performance and ensuring partners get measurable results through Xsolla's Offerwall. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to advertisers, translating data into actionable strategies, and collaborate closely with Xsolla's product, operations, and technical teams to continuously improve the partner experience.
Strong account management skills, a deep familiarity with mobile gaming and performance advertising, and the ability to balance day-to-day campaign management with long-term partner growth will be key to your success. If you're energized by the intersection of gaming and performance marketing and love building meaningful advertiser relationships, we'd love to hear from you!
ABOUT US
Xsolla is a global commerce company with robust tools and services designed to help developers solve the inherent challenges of the video game industry. From indie to AAA, companies partner with Xsolla to help fund, distribute, market, and monetize their games. Headquartered in Los Angeles, California, Xsolla has helped over 1,500+ game developers reach more players and grow their businesses around the world.
For more information, visit xsolla.com.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Account Ownership
Own a portfolio of strategic advertiser and demand-side accounts running high-value user acquisition campaigns on the Xsolla Offerwall, serving as the senior point of contact for both day-to-day management and long-term strategic growth.
Drive revenue growth by identifying and closing upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts, and by leading the onboarding of new, high-priority demand partners aligned with Xsolla's publisher network.
Act as a trusted advisor to UA and monetization leadership at partner studios, providing senior-level guidance on budget allocation, creative strategy, targeting, and bid optimization within the Offerwall environment.
Problem Solving & Diagnostics
Serve as the escalation point for the most complex, ambiguous account issues — performance anomalies with no obvious cause, cross-functional breakdowns, or conflicts between partner expectations and platform capabilities — and drive them to resolution.
Approach every issue methodically: isolate variables, form and test hypotheses against the data, and distinguish root causes from surface-level symptoms before recommending a fix.
Monitor campaign performance closely, using KPIs such as CPI, CTR, ROAS, ARPDAU, and LTV to diagnose issues, surface insights, and recommend optimizations that improve outcomes for advertisers.
Anticipate risk before it materializes — using pattern recognition from past account issues to flag potential problems proactively and build safeguards into partner strategies.
Coach and support other account managers in developing a structured, diagnostic approach to partner problems, raising the problem-solving bar across the team
Strategy & Cross-Functional Influence
Develop and present data-driven business reviews, campaign recaps, and growth roadmaps that translate performance metrics and problem resolutions into clear, executive-ready strategies for partners.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Xsolla's product, operations, and technical teams to relay partner feedback, resolve campaign blockers, and directly influence the product roadmap based on patterns observed across your account portfolio.
Stay current on trends in mobile user acquisition, rewarded advertising, and the broader AdTech landscape, and translate those trends into forward-looking recommendations for partners and internal stakeholders.
Manage multiple high-value accounts and competing priorities simultaneously, consistently delivering results in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience
5+ years in account management, sales, or business development within AdTech, mobile advertising, user acquisition, or a related performance marketing field, with a track record of managing strategic or high-value accounts.
Demonstrated history of growing advertiser accounts, exceeding revenue targets, and managing complex client relationships end-to-end, including through periods of ambiguity or account distress.
Problem-Solving Mindset
A structured, hypothesis-driven approach to ambiguity — able to break down a messy, undefined problem into testable pieces rather than waiting for someone else to define the issue.
Proven track record of resolving complex, cross-functional issues independently, with sound judgment on when to dig in personally versus when to mobilize the right internal stakeholders.
Genuine curiosity about "why" — treats every escalation or performance dip as a question to be answered with data, not just a ticket to be closed.
Resilience and resourcefulness when the first solution doesn't work; iterates quickly and knows how to course-correct without losing partner confidence.
Comfortable being the person others turn to when a problem doesn't have a clear owner or an obvious answer.
Analytical Strength
Comfortable working with performance data and KPIs including CPI, CPM, CPC, CTR, ROAS, ARPDAU, and LTV, using them not just to report performance but to drive root-cause diagnosis.
Able to diagnose campaign performance issues, interpret trends, and translate data into concrete, strategic recommendations for partners.
Proficient in tools such as Google Sheets, BI dashboards, and CRM platforms.
Industry Knowledge
Deep understanding of mobile user acquisition strategies, rewarded advertising mechanics, and performance marketing models.
Strong familiarity with the gaming publisher and advertiser ecosystem, including how game studios approach UA spend, retention, and LTV optimization.
Experience with offerwalls or rewarded ad networks strongly preferred.
Communication & Collaboration
Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills; able to communicate campaign performance, strategic recommendations, and problem resolutions clearly to both technical and executive-level stakeholders.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product, operations, and technical teams to deliver for clients and drive issues to closure.
Skilled at building trust with partners and maintaining long-term relationships grounded in accountability, transparency, and results — especially when the news isn't good.
Mindset
Proactive, entrepreneurial, and commercially oriented — takes full ownership of outcomes and thrives with minimal oversight.
Views obstacles as puzzles to be solved rather than blockers to be escalated.
Comfortable managing multiple high-stakes accounts and adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Curious and growth-focused, with a genuine interest in the intersection of gaming and performance advertising, and a desire to mentor others.
Benefits:
We are passionate about fostering a supportive environment for our team, so we prioritize the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our employees and their families through a comprehensive Benefits Program. This includes 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision plans, unlimited Flexible Time Off, and a personalized career roadmap for each employee. ABOUT US
At LangChain, our mission is to make intelligent agents ubiquitous. We build the foundation for agent engineering in the real world, helping developers move from prototypes to production-ready AI agents that teams can rely on. We began as widely adopted open-source tools and have grown to also offer a platform for building, evaluating, deploying, and operating agents at scale.
With $125M raised at Series B from IVP, Sequoia, Benchmark, CapitalG, and Sapphire Ventures, we’re at a stage where we’re continuing to develop new products, growth is accelerating, and all team members have meaningful impact on what we build and how we work together. LangChain is a place where your contributions can shape how this technology shows up in the real world.
Today, our platform includes LangSmith (Observability, Evaluation, Deployment, Fleet, and Sandboxes), our open source frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, and Deep Agents), and the newly launched LangSmith Engine for autonomous agent improvement. We have 100M+ monthly open source downloads, 6,000+ active LangSmith customers, and 5 of the Fortune 10 use LangSmith in production (+ 35% of the Fortune 500 overall), including teams at Klarna, Clay, Coinbase, Workday, Lyft, Cloudflare, Harvey, Rippling, Vanta, LinkedIn, Monday.com, Nvidia, and Bridgewater.
About the team
SmithDB is LangChain's internal database team. We're building a storage and query layer purpose-built for AI observability and evaluation. Within six months we went from idea to a production system that offers industry leading performance and scalability for agent observability data. We're a small, fast team of systems engineers tackling genuinely hard problems: storage layout, query execution, compaction, and scaling toward trillions of agent traces. We develop in Rust, run on Kubernetes, and integrate tightly with S3/GCS/Azure Blob. There are no legacy constraints; this is a greenfield system with real production load and ambitious engineering goals.
About the role
We're a fast-moving team looking for a systems / database engineer to help design, optimize, and harden our system. Within 6 months, we've gone from idea to production system but there is still lots to build and optimize. You'll be working on execution, storage layout, performance profiling, and scaling to trillions of traces. This role is based in San Francisco.
What you'll do
- Engineer performant Rust code for ingestion and query execution
- Optimize for cost and speed, heavily utilizing memory and CPU profiling
- Integrate tightly with cloud object stores (S3/GCS/Azure Blob)
- Deploy our distributed database services on Kubernetes (multi-tenant, high throughput, low latency)
- Contribute to observability for the storage engine itself (metrics, tracing, debug tooling)
What you'll bring
- 5+ years in systems/database engineering with strong experience in a systems programming language (Rust, C++). Rust strongly preferred, as it is the language we use.
- Knowledge of database internals is a plus: query engines, storage systems, indexing, and compaction
- Proficiency in systems performance analysis: memory allocation, CPU hotspots, lock contention, async runtimes.
- Familiarity with similar query execution engines is a plus
- Experience with Kubernetes, distributed systems, and cloud object storage is a plus.
- Strong fundamentals in networking, OS concepts, and systems debugging.
