About the Role We’re looking to hire a Sales Director to join the Revenue Team in Boston, MA. This person will be responsible for building out our enterprise customer base. You'll define reference architectures, landing zones, and standards across AWS and Azure, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code. You'll decide what we standardize and what we leave flexible. - Data and AI platforms. You'll design lakehouse and warehouse, streaming, and governance patterns. You'll also design the platform layer that moves GenAI and agentic workloads from prototype to production, covering access control, evaluation, observability, and cost guardrails. - Solution shaping. You'll lead technical discovery, size and de-risk the work, and write the solution designs and technical scope that teams commit to. - AI-accelerated delivery. You can show concrete examples of AI shortening your delivery timelines or expanding your output. You also know where it fails, and you verify what it produces before anything reaches production. - Can explain a tradeoff to a CFO in the morning and debug it with an engineer in the afternoon. - Act under ambiguity. About the Role We're looking for a Senior Financial Systems Analyst who will drive the transition from manual, repetitive legacy work to more accurate, streamlined, and automated models, dashboards, and data feeds. Your work will change from week-to-week and month-to-month as you partner with FP&A to redesign how the team plans and forecasts, build new dashboards, and train AI agents to do the tedious stuff automatically. We need someone who combines financial acumen with technical know-how — translating model assumptions and drivers into the right long-term solution, whether that's a Pigment model, a Python script, or an AI agent. You'll also own the trustworthiness of the numbers Finance leaders rely on, building systematic data-quality checks and partnering with the Data/Analytics Engineering team to resolve upstream data issues. And because a fix that only you can maintain isn't really a fix, you'll document your models clearly enough that analysts without a Pigment or Python background can self-serve basic changes — empowering the team with tools that completely solve problems without manual workarounds. This is a full-time position based out of our Bangalore office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team. Technologies You’ll Use Pigment, BigQuery, NetSuite, Omni, Sigma, Claude Code What You’ll Do Partner directly with FP&A business partners across Sales & Marketing, R&D, and G&A to understand how each team plans, forecasts, and reports today, then work together to identify manual, repetitive Finance work that Pigment integrations, Python scripts, and AI agents can streamline and automate. Own the end-to-end build of new and migrated Pigment models — data blocks, formulas, workflows, dashboards, and views — turning fuzzy business asks from FP&A into technical solutions people actually want to use. Collaborate on the design and maintenance of our Pigment architecture, ensuring we avoid a tangled mess of metrics, dimensions, and boards and keep our tools easy-to-navigate. Team up with your peers on the Finance Systems team to build durable integrations between Pigment, BigQuery, and other finance systems, so the data everyone needs shows up accurately and automatically instead of through manual workarounds. Put systematic data-quality checks in place — reconciliations, change monitoring, variance alerts — so business partners can trust the numbers without manual effort. Document what you build clearly enough that a Finance analyst with no Pigment or Python background can self-serve basic changes. Skills We’re Looking For 5+ years of experience in financial systems, FP&A, or analytics engineering, with hands-on work in an EPM platform (Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive, or similar) — or an equivalent analytics-engineering background (SQL, dbt, Python) with a strong interest in moving into EPM/finance systems work. Proven experience using AI agents/LLM tooling to automate finance workflows. Ability to sit with a Finance stakeholder, listen to a messy description of “how we currently do this,” and come back with a well-scoped technical plan. Working proficiency in Python — or willingness and ability to learn via Claude Code or Codex. Strong SQL skills and comfort working in a cloud data warehouse (BigQuery or similar). High attention to detail — this role will work on models that inform real business decisions, so the ability to audit models and build intuition on outputs matter as much as speed. Strong communication skills — able to explain a data discrepancy or a modeling trade-off to someone without a systems or data background. About the Role Fivetran + dbt Labs is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies. We’re looking for a Senior Staff Systems Engineer, Data and Integrations to join our Systems Engineering team and set the technical direction for the data that runs Fivetran's business. In this role, you will own the data architecture behind our marketing, sales, billing, and product operations: the canonical data models, the contracts between systems, and the pipelines and transformations that move data reliably between them. You will lead our largest and most consequential data initiatives, such as system migrations, org consolidations, and re-platforming of core integrations, from design through validation and cutover. This position sits at the crossroads of data engineering, data modeling, and business process. You will partner closely with our Systems, Analytics, and Engineering teams, as well as Marketing, Revenue Operations, Accounting, Product Operations, and other business partner teams, and you will mentor the engineers who build within the standards you set. This is a full-time position based out of our Oakland, California office. Technologies You’ll Use Our core systems are Salesforce, Netsuite, Coupa, Workday, and Zendesk, with BigQuery as our data warehouse. Our current integration stack includes Celigo and Fivetran itself.  You should be an expert in SQL and strong in a general purpose programming language such as Python or TypeScript, and comfortable evaluating and adopting new tools when necessary. A data engineering background is required, with expertise in data modeling, ETL/ELT development, data quality testing, and data validation at scale. Experience with dbt or a similar transformation framework, and with API-based and event-driven integration patterns, is preferred. Help us bring established data engineering practices to internal business systems, and define what those practices should be here. What You’ll Do Data Architecture and Standards Own the canonical data models for Fivetran's marketing, sales, billing, and product operations integrations, and define how business concepts map to data across our core systems. Define team-wide standards for data modeling, data quality, testing, governance, and documentation, and drive their adoption across Systems Engineering and partner teams. Contribute to the design of integration architecture, establishing guidance for when to use batch, real-time, and event-driven data movement. Delivery of Complex Initiatives Lead the design and execution of our most complex data initiatives, including bulk migrations, system consolidations, and re-implementation of core integrations, from target-state design through validation, cutover, and stabilization. Build, review, and ship the SQL and Python transformations and pipelines behind these initiatives, setting the bar for code quality on the team. Design the validation and reconciliation approach for migrations and pipeline changes, and sign off with stakeholders that record counts, values, and business rules reconcile. Reliability and Observability Design the monitoring, alerting, and data quality framework that gives end-to-end visibility into data freshness and accuracy across systems, and define the KPIs used to measure integration and data health. Lead root cause analysis on the most complex cross-system data issues, and drive the systemic fixes that prevent recurrence. Business Partnership Technical Leadership Translate ambiguous requirements from cross-functional business partners into data models and technical designs, and drive alignment across teams with competing priorities. Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert for business data within the Systems Engineering team. Mentor other engineers and review their designs and code, raising the team's proficiency in data modeling, testing, and pipeline design. Write and maintain design documents and data flow documentation for current and target state, so decisions are legible to the team and to partners. Skills We’re Looking For 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or a similar role, with a deep focus on modeling and transforming business data and a track record of technical leadership on complex, multi-team initiatives. Expert SQL proficiency, including complex transformations, performance tuning, and large-scale data reconciliation. Strong proficiency in a general purpose programming language such as Python or TypeScript, with experience building production-grade, tested data pipelines. Hands-on experience with business systems data models such as those for Salesforce, NetSuite, Coupa, Workday, or Zendesk, including a data migration, org merge, or major re-implementation. Demonstrated experience designing and delivering large-scale ETL/ELT solutions and the data quality, validation, and governance frameworks around them. Ability to evaluate trade-offs between short-term delivery and long-term data architecture health, and to communicate those decisions clearly. Ability to lead through influence, driving alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders without direct authority. Bonus Skills Experience with dbt or a similar transformation framework. Hands-on experience with iPaaS platforms such as Celigo, Workato, or Boomi, and with reverse ETL tools, including experience choosing between them. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD for data pipelines. Familiarity with AI/ML capabilities to augment data quality, matching, and automation. ABOUT THE ROLE The Data team at WorkOS plays a central role on the company operations to ensure information and insights are accurate and available from any surface, whether that's a visualization tool or an agent's response, to accelerate company growth and scale. The team owns WorkOS's internal data platform end to end: ingestion, orchestration, the Snowflake warehouse, dbt transformations, governance and access controls. We also own the consumption layer: the reverse-ETL syncs that land data in Salesforce and Slack, the semantic views that agents query, the definitions that keep reporting consistent across the company, and the visualization tooling the company uses (ask us about Flashboards https://workos.com/blog/reporting-tool-with-no-editor). We run on an agent-first operating system: we are a lean team that moves fast, we document so agents can execute, and AI agents query the warehouse, run our runbooks, and open pull requests alongside us. We're hiring a Data Engineer to own and evolve the systems that move, transform, protect, and serve data across our internal warehouse. This is a high-ownership role on a lean team: you will be the DRI for the platform and its core data models, partner directly with Product Engineering, RevOps, Finance, GTM Engineering, and Security, and raise the bar on reliability, correctness, and operational rigor. The role spans the platform and what runs on it. You will own ingestion, orchestration, and access governance; the dbt models and metric definitions that depend on them; and how AI is applied across the data stack, so that trusted data is easy for both people and AI agents to discover, understand, and work with. You don't need to have done this exact job before. The best data engineers at WorkOS are the ones who notice in a Slack thread that a number doesn't match, trace it from the dashboard through the Gold model to the connector, fix the connector, and confirm the definition with its owner before the weekly review.
