We are building AI to simulate the world through merging art and science.
We believe that world models are at the frontier of progress in artificial intelligence. Language models alone won’t solve the world’s hardest problems – robotics, disease, scientific discovery. Real progress requires models that experience the world and learn from their mistakes, the same way that humans do. And this kind of trial and error can be massively accelerated when done in simulation, rather than in the real world.
World models offer the most clear path to general-purpose simulation, changing how stories are told, how scientific progress is made and how the next frontiers of humanity are reached.
Our team consists of creative, open minded, caring and ambitious people who are determined to change the world. We aspire to continuously build impossible things and our ability to do so relies on building an incredible team. If you are driven to do the same, we'd love to hear from you.
*Titles posted to our careers page are updated regularly to best advertise the role and expected seniority, but internally we have a flat titling system with two types of titles: one for individual contributors and one for people managers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
*Open to hiring remote across the US — we also have offices in New York, San Francisco, Seattle, London, Paris, and Tel Aviv.
We're looking for a Social Media Lead to build the strategy and operating model behind how Runway shows up on social. Our audience spans filmmakers, artists, developers, researchers and enterprise teams, and each of them comes to our channels for something different. Your job is to give every channel a clear role and make sure our biggest moments, from model launches and research releases to film festivals and conferences, land with real distribution behind them.
You'll bring a strong point of view on where Runway should show up and how. You'll help our researchers, engineers, creatives and executives share the work closest to them with credibility and authenticity, and you'll treat our community of creators as collaborators in telling the story. You'll be hands-on where it matters, but this role is defined by strategic leadership and operational ownership.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Set Runway's social strategy, raise the creative bar and build the calendar around a steady, always-on presence that leads into our biggest launches
- Define a distinct role for each channel across X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and emerging community platforms
- Decide when Runway, a researcher, an executive, a creator, a customer or a partner should lead the story, then build the distribution plan around it
- Partner with Research, Product, Comms and Brand to turn model launches, research papers and product updates into native, credible social moments
- Help Runway researchers, engineers and executives post about their work, with clear guidance, coaching and coordinated amplification
- Work with our Community team, partners and our broader creator community to put the work made with Runway at the center of our channels
- Establish a clear scorecard and use social insights to sharpen the work over time
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Social runs on data-driven goals across reach, awareness, demand, campaign lift and audience insight
- Runway has a clear social point of view and a defined role for each channel
- Social is a strategic driver of visibility, creative adoption and demand, not an internal posting service
- Runway's researchers, engineers and executives have an easy, trusted way to share their work, and the strongest posts get coordinated amplification
- Creators see Runway's channels as the best place for their work to be seen
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- 5+ years of experience in strategic social or related marketing programs; 2+ years at a top-tier technology, consumer, media or entertainment company is a plus
- A track record of building social strategy and the operating model behind it: prioritization, agency and contractor management, workflows, measurement and executive alignment
- Excellent editorial judgment and an instinct for what feels credible and native on each platform, especially X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn
- Fluency across disparate cultures: film, art and creators, AI and startups, venture capital and Silicon Valley; comfort translating technical research for a broad audience
- Comfort with performance and brand measurement, including how to separate correlation from impact and how to run disciplined tests
- Hands-on familiarity with generative AI tools, including Runway, and curiosity about where they're headed
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift with each launch
Runway strives to recruit and retain exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds while ensuring pay equity for our team. Our salary ranges are based on competitive market rates for our size, stage and industry, and salary is just one part of the overall compensation package we provide.
There are many factors that go into salary determinations, including relevant experience, skill level and qualifications assessed during the interview process, and maintaining internal equity with peers on the team. The range shared below is a general expectation for the function as posted, but we are also open to considering candidates who may be more or less experienced than outlined in the job description. In this case, we will communicate any updates in the expected salary range.
Lastly, the provided range is the expected salary for candidates in the U.S. Outside of those regions, there may be a change in the range, which again, will be communicated to candidates.

We’re training and deploying frontier models for enterprises who are building AI systems. We believe that our work is instrumental to the widespread adoption of AI and we are looking for folks that want to be part of that.
We obsess over what we build. Each one of us is responsible for contributing to increasing the capabilities of our models and the value they drive for our customers. Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more, who are all passionate about their craft.

You will drive long-term success through strategic market development, executive engagement, and expansion of Cohere’s presence across Southern European markets.
In this pivotal leadership role, you will build and guide Cohere’s Southern Europe sales strategy, cultivating relationships with Enterprise and Strategic accounts, strategic partners, and industry stakeholders. You will work closely with regional and global leadership to establish Cohere as a trusted AI partner to public sector organizations, while driving revenue growth and achieving broader organizational objectives.
Location flexibility: Candidates may be based in Italy, Spain, Portugal, or outside the region. However, candidates must demonstrate meaningful experience supporting and developing business across these Southern European markets, with established relationships and the ability to travel regularly throughout the region.
AS OUR HEAD OF SOUTHERN EUROPE YOU WILL:
- Develop, execute, and lead a comprehensive go-to-market strategy and sales plan for Southern Europe driving revenue growth, customer acquisition, and market expansion across Italy, Spain, and Portugal.
- Provide strategic sales and operational leadership for Cohere’s Southern European business, ensuring alignment with global priorities, company objectives, and regional growth strategies.
- Build and expand relationships with senior stakeholders, decision-makers, strategic partners, and systems integrators across the region.
- Lead enterprise-level business development, strategic account planning, and capture initiatives, identifying and pursuing high-value opportunities across government, defense, and other regulated public sector markets.
- Establish and strengthen relationships with local and multinational prime contractors, technology partners, consulting organizations, and industry associations to accelerate Cohere’s market presence.
- Partner with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Legal, and other internal teams to align regional customer requirements, market opportunities, and sales execution with broader company priorities.
- Represent Cohere at key Southern European events, conferences, customer engagements, and networking opportunities, working in collaboration with regional and global leadership.
- Collaborate with global teams to establish anchor customer relationships, advance strategic opportunities, and develop best practices for enterprise-level AI deployments and implementations.
- Operate as a hands-on regional leader, building the market, developing strategic opportunities, and driving execution in partnership with a broader, matrixed global sales organization.
THIS CAREER OPPORTUNITY MAY BE A GOOD MATCH FOR YOU IF YOU:
- Have 10+ years of sales and leadership experience, developing go-to-market strategies and driving revenue growth within fast-paced technology organizations.
- Have demonstrated experience supporting and developing business across Italy, Spain, and Portugal, with established relationships in commercial, enterprise and strategic accounts, and related ecosystems.
- Possess a proven track record of leading strategic capture, enterprise sales, and consultative solution-selling initiatives, particularly involving complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities.
- Have a strong understanding of Southern European procurement processes and budget cycles, and regional market dynamics.
- Bring an established network of relationships with decision-makers, organizations, prime contractors, systems integrators, and relevant industry associations across the target markets.
- Have exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to build executive-level relationships, influence stakeholders, and develop cross-functional partnerships.
- Are comfortable operating in a matrixed global environment, coordinating efforts across regional and international teams without relying on a large direct-report organization.
- Are a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of working independently, rolling up your sleeves, building new markets, and driving meaningful commercial impact.
- Have experience selling AI, cloud, enterprise software, data platforms, or other complex technology solutions. Experience in AI or a related industry is highly desirable.
- Are fluent in English and have professional fluency in at least one of the primary regional languages: Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese. Additional language capabilities across the region are an advantage.
- Can be based in Southern Europe or another location, provided you have a strong track record supporting these markets and are willing to travel regularly throughout Italy, Spain, and Portugal. Expected travel: 25–35%, with flexibility based on business needs.

HEALTH CAN’T WAIT.
Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.
Alan exists to end the wait.
Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.
So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.
We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture https://alan.com/en/careers. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.
Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.
⭐️ THE SENIOR REVENUE OPERATIONS JOB
Our Business Strategy & Operations team runs the most critical, strategic, and data-driven projects at Alan. It sits at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Finance, and covers four core areas: sales strategy and planning, sales effectiveness, sales enablement, and business segment leadership.
You'll be joining the Sales Effectiveness team, whose mission is to make our sales organization run at its best across France, Belgium, Spain, and Canada. This team is a key lever on one of the company's most watched metrics: our customer acquisition cost.
Why is this role interesting?
- High-impact scope: You'll work across the full sales organization, from Account Executives to BDRs, Account Management, and Customer Success Managers.
- Real ownership: You'll own initiatives end to end, from strategy and design to execution and adoption, not just delivery.
- Builder's playground: You'll have access to a modern stack, combining low-code tools, AI (Dust, Claude), Salesforce, and SQL, to ship things fast and at scale.
- Tangible results: Recent examples from our roadmap include fully automating slide deck generation for Sales (saving 1,000+ hours per year) and building an AI-powered outbound machine reaching a 15% discovery rate.
What will you do with us?
You'll own effectiveness initiatives end to end, setting the roadmap, designing the solution, building it, driving execution, and managing change across the organization. You'll spend meaningful time in the field to spot gaps in our sales process, then design smarter workflows by eliminating steps and increasing automation. You'll evaluate new tools and technologies, run tests, and roll out what works.
You'll mostly work with low-code tools (like Zapier or n8n), AI, Salesforce, SQL via Metabase, and whatever else the job calls for. Enablement is a key part of the role: you'll shadow, train, measure adoption, and iterate until change sticks.
Learn more about the exciting challenges tackled by the team by reading this article https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/six-years-alan-most-exciting-revenue-ops-chapter-one-were-bordier-mm7be/ about Carlos Targhetta's role at Alan 👀
⭐ IS IT YOU WE'RE LOOKING FOR?
You'll be a great fit for the Revenue Operations team at Alan if you:
- Have at least 5 years of experience in RevOps / Sales Ops / Sales Effectiveness, several of them spent hands-on building the sales machine. You own initiatives end-to-end (scope, design, build, measure);
- Demonstrate strong ownership and project management skills, and are comfortable running initiatives;
- Have a builder mindset and love being hands-on;
- Are confident with change management, including shadowing, training, measuring adoption, and iterating;
- Can write and own SQL queries yourself (joins, basic data modeling), not just read them.
- Have proven experience with low-code tools and integrations (e.g. Clay, Make, Zapier, or equivalent) to build scalable workflows
- Have configured Salesforce yourself (objects, fields, flows) and can say what you personally built vs. what an integrator or another team did.
- Are able to build and maintain pipelines that produce actionable insights, with clear business impact
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Have at least an advanced level in English.
- Are based in (or willing to relocate to) Paris, Madrid, Barcelona or Brussels.
For this role we are looking to hire within the C1-E level range https://alan.com/en/careers/a/salary-equity.
EVERYTHING ELSE IS A PLUS. WE CARE ABOUT HAVING A DIVERSITY OF EXPERIENCES, PROFILES AND BACKGROUNDS IN OUR TEAM.
🙌 PERKS & BENEFITS https://alan.com/about/life-at-alan/a/perks

Therefore, we offer:

- Have at least 5 years of experience in RevOps / Sales Ops / Sales Effectiveness, several of them spent hands-on building the sales machine. You own initiatives end-to-end (scope, design, build, measure);
- Demonstrate strong ownership and project management skills, and are comfortable running initiatives;
- Have a builder mindset and love being hands-on;
- Are confident with change management, including shadowing, training, measuring adoption, and iterating;
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills;

Therefore, we offer:
- Fair rewards. Generous equity packages complement your base salary, for permanent contracts only.

WHO ARE WE?
Cohere is the leading security-first enterprise AI company. We build cutting-edge foundation AI models and end-to-end products that are designed to solve real-world business problems.
We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us!
ROLE OVERVIEW
We're seeking a senior product leader to own Cohere's Inference as a Service business end to end. The product is sovereign, self-serve inference: a mid-market or enterprise buyer picks a model, a region and a GPU size, and is running the same afternoon with no procurement cycle and no infrastructure of their own. You'll decide which open-weights and first-party models we serve, in which regions and on which hardware, set the rate card they sell at, and carry the revenue and margin that follow from those calls. You own the platform around that endpoint as well, from the console and dashboards a customer administers their deployment through to the catalog of first-party and third-party models behind it.
You'll set the strategy and run the execution, which means choosing where to spend across serving efficiency, the self-serve console and regional capacity when all three want the same budget, and shipping the deployment framework that removes infrastructure barriers while holding the line on data residency, compliance and operational confidence. You'll do that across engineering, serving, finance, legal and GTM without formal authority over most of it, and you'll be accountable for the outcome rather than for the roadmap.
The timing is most of the opportunity. Every serious company is deciding where its models will run and what it costs to keep them running, serving demand is climbing faster than anyone can rack hardware for it, and very few of those buyers are willing to hand their data to an operator who can read it. We are starting this business from a standing start, with the models, the silicon and the encryption already in place and almost no one else able to offer the combination. You would be taking a product to market in the window where that advantage is still ours, building one of Cohere's major revenue lines from its first customer onward, and shaping how a generation of companies buys AI it can actually trust.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the P&L for Inference as a Service: carry the revenue number, set the rate card, and keep blended margin above the floor as the catalog and the fleet grow.
- Own the inference platform itself: the console and dashboards where customers see usage, spend, API keys, access control and attestation, and the value-add tooling that makes a managed endpoint worth more than a raw one.
- Own the model inventory across first-party and third-party models: what enters the catalog, how it is grouped by provenance, what it is priced at, and when something is quantised, replaced or retired.
- Set the roadmap and the investment case across serving efficiency, the self-serve surface and regional capacity, and make the call when those three compete for the same budget.
- Build the commercial motion with GTM from the ground up: self-serve acquisition for the mid-market, a sales-led motion for enterprise, and the partnerships that monetise capacity we would otherwise leave idle.
- Stay close to the market: talk to customers and developers about integration friction and unmet needs, track competitor pricing, catalogs and launches, and follow where models and hardware are heading, then turn that into a clear view of where we should place our bets and what it would take to win.
- Define the metrics that tell us whether this is a business, including revenue, margin, win rate, time to first token and self-serve share, and lead the work that moves them.
- Partner with engineering, research, legal, finance, technical writing and developer relations to ship the platform and clear the licensing, pricing and capacity decisions behind it.
- Represent the business to the executive team with a recommendation, the evidence behind it and the trade-off it implies.
REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years of product management experience, including meaningful time owning a B2B infrastructure or platform product at the scope of a business rather than a feature area.
- Experience operating in a GM-like capacity: you have carried a revenue line or a P&L, set pricing, and been held to margin as well as to shipping.
- Background at a neocloud such as Together AI, Baseten or Fireworks, or at a hyperscaler such as AWS, Azure, OCI or Google Cloud, with a working view of how inference capacity is priced, packaged and sold, and a point of view on where the segment goes next.
- A track record of thinking about infrastructure as a product, with the ability to translate system-level capabilities into clearly differentiated, customer-facing features.
- Entrepreneurial, with experience taking a new product to market and building the commercial motion around it rather than inheriting one.
- Experience with deployment models such as multi-tenant and dedicated infrastructure, and ownership across the full product lifecycle, from problem definition through launch, iteration and eventual migration or deprecation.
- Analytical by default: you define success metrics before you build, instrument thoughtfully, and use data alongside qualitative feedback to make decisions.
- Able to set direction and earn alignment across engineering, infrastructure, finance, legal and GTM without formal authority, and to put a clear recommendation and its trade-offs in front of an executive audience.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience owning a model serving or inference platform, including self-serve infrastructure and metered inference offerings.
- Exposure to data residency, sovereignty, or regional compliance requirements as they apply to AI or cloud infrastructure products, particularly in the inference-as-a-service context.
- Familiarity with the AI developer ecosystem and open standards, including orchestration frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex, model serving frameworks such as vLLM, and an awareness of de facto interoperability standards and how they shape developer adoption and integration patterns for inference workloads.
- Experience with GPU infrastructure and cloud deployment models across both neocloud and hyperscaler environments.
FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES AT COHERE ENJOY THESE PERKS:
- A weekly lunch stipend of $75/£75 or equivalent in your local currency for lunch.
- Full health and dental benefits, including a separate budget for mental health.
- RRSP matching, 401K, Pension Scheme.
- 100% Parental Leave top-up for up to 6 months, for either parent.
- Annual enrichment benefits:
Arts & culture, fitness/wellness, quality time, and a workspace improvement credit.
Education & learning stipend for conferences, courses, and coaching.
- 6 weeks of paid vacation (30 working days!)
- Budget for traveling to other offices if you are remote, plus an annual company offsite.
HOW AND WHERE WE WORK:
- Cohere is remote-friendly, but we also have offices in Toronto, London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul with more opening soon.
- For those in the office: a daily lunch program, plenty of snacks, and regular community and social events.
- For those not near an office: a co-working benefit so you can work alongside others in your city.
- Everyone receives a $500 home office stipend to set up your workspace properly.
If any of the above doesn’t line up exactly with your experience, we still encourage you to apply.
We strive to create an inclusive work environment for all; we welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to providing equal opportunities. Should you require any accommodations during the recruitment process, please submit an Accommodations Request Form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/12a6IrLdF3kI2nonKSr4tiFuz18rLQbaeYV-JM9L4o9Q/edit, and we will work together to meet your needs.

We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
THE TEAM
Mistral Cloud builds and operates the infrastructure that powers Mistral's AI. The Data Centers team signs long-term leases for data center capacity developed by third-party operators, sources the GPUs that fill those halls, and runs the workloads that train and serve Mistral's models. Today the team is around 40 people, mainly based in Paris with some remote members, and operates roughly 200 MW of existing capacity across France. Key partners include Éclairion in France and EcoDC in Sweden, which is currently delivering Mistral's first Swedish data center.
The team sits at the center of an ambitious roadmap: Mistral has publicly committed to securing one gigawatt of data center capacity globally by 2030. With 200 MW already online, roughly 800 MW remain to be secured over the next five years. Every megawatt needs power, and power is this role's domain.
THE ROLE
Mistral's data centers will consume hundreds of megawatts of electricity. This hire makes sure that power is reliable and affordable. You will define and execute Mistral's energy procurement strategy: structuring agreements with utilities, hedging against volatile spot prices, and tracking the regulatory changes that affect where and how data centers can be powered. The role also touches energy policy and community relations in the regions where Mistral operates.
This is a hybrid seat. Roughly half of the work is commercial: procurement contracts, hedging instruments, and price risk management. The other half is policy and positioning: monitoring regulation, engaging with grid operators and local authorities, and helping Mistral build the social license to operate large data centers across Europe.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Define and execute Mistral's energy procurement strategy across European data center sites
- Negotiate power purchase agreements and procurement contracts with utilities
- Structure hedging agreements to limit exposure to volatile spot power prices
- Monitor energy regulation and policy developments that affect data center siting, grid connection, and power pricing
- Engage with grid operators, regulators, and local communities in regions where Mistral builds and operates data centers
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- You have procured energy at scale. You have structured power purchase agreements, utility contracts, or hedging instruments for industrial or infrastructure-scale consumers.
- You understand European energy markets. You know how power pricing, grid connection, and regulation work across the markets where Mistral operates.
- You can read a regulatory brief. You have tracked and interpreted energy or infrastructure policy and translated it into commercial implications.
- You communicate across disciplines. You work effectively with engineers, finance, legal, and external stakeholders, and can explain complex energy concepts to non-specialists.
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance. Benefits vary by country and may include healthcare coverage, parental leave, retirement plans, relocation support, wellness programs, meal and transportation allowances, and other location-specific perks.

THE ROLE
Mistral's cheapest and best-tailored capacity is the capacity planned furthest ahead. This hire builds the partnerships that make that possible: long-term relationships with infrastructure funds, data center developers, and landowners who acquire sites, secure grid connections, and construct bespoke facilities on Mistral's behalf, three to four years before the first GPU is installed.
You will define the collaboration principles that govern this ecosystem. You will structure partnerships where third parties carry development risk and Mistral locks in capacity designed to its technical specifications. The role is part strategist, part negotiator, part ecosystem builder.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Negotiate long-term capacity partnerships with infrastructure funds, data center companies, and landowners across Europe
- Define collaboration principles and contractual frameworks that allow third parties to develop data centers on Mistral's behalf
- Structure bespoke data center designs so that power, cooling, and layout are tailored to Mistral's technical needs
- Build a pipeline of development sites: land acquisition, grid connection, and construction timelines planned three to four years out
- Align partnership strategy with Mistral's science and infrastructure roadmaps
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- You have built infrastructure partnerships. You have negotiated long-term capacity or development agreements with data center operators, infrastructure funds, or similar counterparties.
- You think in multi-year horizons. You have planned capacity three to five years ahead and understand how early commitment reduces cost and improves design control.
- You can define frameworks, not just close deals. You have created collaboration models that align third-party incentives with your own technical and commercial requirements.
- You operate across European markets. You have worked across multiple jurisdictions and understand the regulatory and permitting landscape for data center development.

THE ROLE
This hire acquires the data center capacity that Mistral's next generation of models will run on. Across Europe, you will negotiate co-location agreements and built-to-suit contracts with data center developers, structure master services agreements and order forms, and make sourcing decisions grounded in a deep understanding of what the capacity will actually be used for: training frontier LLMs, serving inference at scale, or both.
The role sits at the intersection of commercial negotiation and technical infrastructure. You will need to translate workload requirements into contract terms, assess whether a given site can deliver the power, cooling, and connectivity Mistral needs, and close deals that lock in capacity years before the GPUs arrive.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Negotiate master services agreements, order forms, and co-location or built-to-suit contracts with data center developers across Europe
- Structure capacity sourcing decisions based on workload requirements: training, inference, or hybrid
- Assess data center sites for power delivery, cooling, connectivity, and commissioning timelines
- Work with Mistral's science and infrastructure teams to align capacity plans with model roadmaps
- Manage relationships with existing data center partners including Éclairion and EcoDC
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- You have negotiated data center contracts. You have closed master services agreements, order forms, or co-location / built-to-suit deals in the data center or infrastructure sector.
- You understand capacity delivery. You know what it takes to commission a data hall: power, cooling, connectivity, timelines, and the failure modes that delay go-live.
- You can translate technical requirements into commercial terms. You have structured sourcing decisions based on workload needs, whether for training clusters or inference serving.
- You operate across borders. You have worked with counterparties across multiple European jurisdictions and are comfortable with cross-border negotiation.

ABOUT DOCKER
Docker has been one of the most loved brands in developer tooling, trusted by more than 20 million monthly users and over 20 billion container image pulls. From solo founders to the world's largest companies, developers rely on Docker to build, share, and run their applications across our suite of products including Docker Desktop, Docker Hub, and Docker Scout.
We are a globally distributed, remote-first team building the tools that define how software gets built and delivered. As AI agents redefine software development, Docker is at the center of that shift, providing the sandboxed environments, verified images, and secure infrastructure that make autonomous workflows trustworthy by default.
_______________________________________________________________________
THE ROLE
Docker's Platform Engineering team builds and operates the cloud-native platform behind Docker's products. Inside the company, teams across Engineering and the business rely on a growing set of internal applications, and each one is built, deployed, and run a little differently.
We're looking for a Senior Engineer to give those applications a common foundation and then build the custom tools the business needs on top of it. You'll create a framework that makes it easy to build and deploy internal tools, including slack bots, web apps, workflows, etc, with authentication, hosting, observability, and alerting in place. You'll use it to build internally-facing tools to support cross-org efforts: roadmapping, headcount management, business reporting, etc. You'll decide when to build, when to buy, and when to integrate an existing product. You'll help shape how internal systems fit together across the company.
This is a hands-on role. You'll own projects from scoping through rollout and adoption, working with platform leads, engineering teams, and business teams such as HR, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Support.
_______________________________________________________________________
WHAT YOU'LL DO
INTERNAL APP FRAMEWORK
- Build and maintain a framework that makes it fast to create and deploy internal applications and services, with defaults for authentication, hosting, CI/CD, logging, observability, and alerting
- Provide templates, documentation, and examples so teams can ship their own tools without starting from scratch
- Set the standards for how internal apps are built, secured, and run, and make the standard path the easiest one
- Leverage existing systems and sources of truth to build cross-connects where they don’t exist
CUSTOM BUSINESS TOOLING
- Work across teams and organizations to understand where tools, processes, or systems are falling short, and turn those gaps into proposals that platform leads can prioritize
- Scope and deliver apps and tooling to address identified gaps
- Ship early versions quickly, learn from how people use them, and improve them over time
- Own the tools you build through rollout, adoption, and ongoing support
BUILD, BUY, OR INTEGRATE
- Evaluate whether a need is best met by building, buying, or integrating an existing product, and recommend one with the tradeoffs
- Connect tools to the systems the company already uses, such as identity, data sources, and Slack, so they work together
- Help shape the architecture of internal systems, so they stay consistent and maintainable as the company grows
RELIABILITY AND AI
- Build operational basics into the framework, so every internal app gets incident management, SLO, and alerting defaults automatically
- Use AI tooling to speed up delivery and to automate workflows where it adds value
_______________________________________________________________________
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
REQUIRED
- 6+ years of software engineering, including building and shipping internal tools or full-stack web applications
- Strong full-stack skills: a backend language such as Go, Python, or TypeScript, and a modern frontend framework
- Experience designing reusable frameworks, templates, or platforms that other engineers build on
- Experience deploying to the cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with containers and CI/CD, and working knowledge of Kubernetes
- Sound judgment on build, buy, and integrate decisions, and experience integrating third-party SaaS products and APIs
- Experience working directly with non-engineering stakeholders to turn a need into a working tool
- Experience with AI-assisted development or LLM-powered automation
- Clear written communication and comfort working asynchronously on a remote team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
NICE TO HAVE
- Cross-functional experience in program management
- Experience with internal tool or developer portal platforms
- Web design experience
- Familiarity with observability and incident tooling (incident.io http://incident.io, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar)
- Experience at a developer tooling or SaaS company at scale, and familiarity with compliance and security standards
Visa sponsorship: Docker considers visa sponsorship on a case-by-case basis based on business needs.
_______________________________________________________________________
COMPENSATION & EQUITY
All full-time roles include equity. Final compensation is determined on factors including but not limited to experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
United States: $160,900 – $260,700 base
______________________________________________________________________
POSTING INFORMATION
- Open vacancy: This posting is for an existing open role.
- AI in hiring: Docker may use AI-assisted tools during our recruiting process.
- Interview recordings: Candidates will be invited to opt in to interview recordings to support interviewer calibration and consistent evaluations. Recordings are optional and require explicit consent.
______________________________________________________________________
PERKS & BENEFITS
- Remote-first by design – Work from your home, with offices in Seattle and Paris for connection and collaboration.
- Flexibility that fits your life – We trust you to manage your schedule while delivering great work.
- Time to recharge – Generous PTO, designated quarterly Whaleness Days, and a designated end-of-year Whaleness break.

- Equity for all full-time employees – Share in Docker's long-term success as we continue to grow.
- Comprehensive benefits – Medical, retirement, and paid holidays vary by country.
- Docker swag – Because representing the whale never gets old.
Docker is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to building a team that reflects a broad range of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We believe diverse teams build better products, make better decisions, and better serve our global community.
