ABOUT US
Constructor is the next-generation platform for search and discovery in ecommerce, built to explicitly optimize for metrics like revenue, conversion rate, and profit. Our search engine is entirely invented in-house utilizing transformers and generative LLMs, and we use its core and personalization capabilities to power everything from search itself to recommendations to shopping agents. Engineering is by far our largest department, and we’ve built our proprietary engine to be the best on the market, having never lost an A/B test to a competitive technology. We’re passionate about maintaining this and work on the bleeding edge of AI to do so.
Out of necessity, our engine is built for extreme scale and powers over 1 billion queries every day across 150 languages and roughly 100 countries. It is used by some of the biggest ecommerce companies in the world like Sephora, Under Armour, and Petco.
We’re a passionate team who love solving problems and want to make our customers’ and coworkers’ lives better. We value empathy, openness, curiosity, continuous improvement, and are excited by metrics that matter. We believe that empowering everyone in a company to do what they do best can lead to great things.
Constructor is a U.S. based company that has been in the market since 2019. It was founded by Eli Finkelshteyn and Dan McCormick who still lead the company today.
ABOUT THE POSITION
You'll be designing the future of product discovery. Constructor powers search and recommendations for some of the world's largest retailers and your work will shape how we show that to prospective customers. You'll own the demo experience: how big brands first see what's possible, and how they imagine their own shoppers using it. You'll also work on onboarding helping customers go live faster with less friction. It's a mix of vision work and practical tooling, with real impact on how Constructor grows.
ABOUT YOU
You're a product designer who owns problems, not screens. You're comfortable with ambiguity, can partner with PMs to shape direction, and know how to translate research insights into production-ready interfaces, working closely with engineers. You ship work that matters.
Beyond being a thoughtful designer, user advocate, and strong collaborator, here are a few things we really value:
- A goal-oriented, iterative mindset — You focus on solving high-impact problems and are comfortable learning, improving, and shipping quickly.
- Practical experience with research — You’ve led user interviews, usability tests, and data analysis.
- Experience designing for unfamiliar problems — You’ve worked on products where you had to understand complex workflows outside your own experience—especially in B2B contexts.
- Experience turning ambiguity into structure — You spot patterns, define systems, and design scalable, reusable solutions.
REQUIREMENTS
- Visual Strategy: Defining a bold, new design aesthetic for the e-commerce demo site that visually represents “Product Discovery 2027.”
- Interaction Design: Mapping out user flows and interactions for new, cutting-edge features that leverage AI/LLMs (details to be provided in the project brief).
- High-Fidelity Mockups: Delivering final mockups and assets for all key pages and states (homepage, search results, product detail page, filtering/sorting experience, etc.).
- Component Library: Ensuring all new designs are scalable and align with the existing/evolving Constructor design system.

STAFF PRODUCT MANAGER, PRODUCT DISCOVERY ENGINE
ABOUT US
Constructor powers product search and discovery for some of the largest retailers in the world. We serve billions of requests every week, and you’ve probably seen our results somewhere and used our product without knowing it. We differentiate ourselves by focusing on metrics over features, and reinventing search and discovery from the ground up as a machine learning challenge with the specific goal of improving metrics like revenue. We’re approximately doubling year over year despite the market slowing down and have customers in every eCommerce vertical. We’re a passionate team of technologists who love solving problems and want to make our customers’ and coworkers’ lives better. We value empathy, openness, curiosity, continuous improvement, and are excited by metrics that matter. We believe that empowering everyone in a company to do what they think is best can lead to great things.
JOB SUMMARY
We’re looking for a systems-minded Staff Product Manager to take Constructor’s search and discovery to the state of the art — and keep it there — across every retail industry we serve. This is a highly technical, high-leverage role at the core of our Product Discovery Engine chapter: the teams responsible for how we retrieve, understand, and rank the right products for every shopper, on every query, for every customer.
Your job is to raise discovery quality and, through it, our customers’ business metrics. You won’t be measured on features shipped — you’ll be measured on relevance and business outcomes, like conversion, revenue per visit, and search-attributed GMV, moving up.
You’ll start embedded with our Search Quality team, owning its strategy and roadmap and getting deep into the systems that decide what shoppers actually see. Over time, your mandate grows to setting direction for the entire Product Discovery Engine chapter — deciding where we’re heading and why across recall, ranking, query understanding, personalization, and the ML infrastructure underneath. This is a Staff role today with a clear path to Director as you take on chapter-wide leadership.
Search at Constructor is fundamentally a machine learning problem, so this role lives and breathes ML. You’ll partner closely with ML, data science, and engineering to turn the latest research into production wins, keep us ahead of both commercial competitors and academic state of the art, and be the connective tissue that aligns multiple teams — ML Recall, ML Infra, and, over time, teams like CORE, SABR, and Catalog Management — behind a single, coherent vision for great discovery.
If you’re excited about driving innovation across dozens of the world’s largest retailers, being held to relevance and business outcomes, and pushing an already best-in-class product further ahead, this role is for you.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own business impact, not features. Drive measurable lift in search-attributed conversion, revenue per visit, and GMV alongside relevance across our customer base.
- Deliver across every retail industry. Move quality and business metrics across all the verticals we serve, accounting for the differences in catalog, language, and shopper intent.
- Keep us at the state of the art. Continuously translate the latest ML / IR research and competitive moves into production wins, and ship SOTA ML / LLM-assisted capabilities that beat our previous best on relevance.
- Set chapter vision and strategy. Define the multi-quarter direction for the Product Discovery Engine — where we’re heading and why — tie it directly to customer business outcomes, and rally teams behind it.
- Lead Search Quality first. Own its strategy and roadmap, driving measurable improvements in the relevance and correctness of results.
- Orchestrate across the pipeline. Unify recall, ranking, query understanding, and personalization behind one definition of quality and one set of business metrics, so improvements compound instead of colliding.
- Turn ML research into production wins. Partner deeply with ML and data science to take models — from candidate generation and recall to LLM-assisted interpretation — from idea to production, balancing accuracy, latency, and cost.
- Make quality measurable and explainable. Build the metrics, evaluation frameworks, and tooling the whole chapter uses to measure, attribute, and explain discovery quality and its business impact.
- Own quality under pressure. Lead investigation and triage when issues arise, and design durable, systemic fixes rather than one-off patches.
- Grow the mandate. Expand into chapter-wide leadership spanning ML Recall, ML Infra, and — over time — teams like CORE, SABR, and Catalog Management.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Within your first year, you will have:
- Driven measurable lift in search-attributed conversion and revenue per visit — moving business metrics, not just quality metrics.
- Driven measurable business-metric lift (conversion, revenue per visit, GMV) and relevance lift across every major retail vertical we serve.
- Shipped at least one state-of-the-art ML / LLM-assisted capability into production that beats our previous best on relevance.
- Won head-to-head quality benchmarks against every major competitor in the verticals we compete in, with a repeatable, defensible methodology.
- Taken core quality metrics to best-in-class levels and kept them improving quarter over quarter.
- Stood up an evaluation framework and tooling that ties model and system investments directly to customer business outcomes.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Extensive product management experience (typically 8+ years) in search, discovery, ML, or NLP-heavy products, including time operating at a senior or staff level.
- A track record of moving business metrics at scale — conversion, revenue, engagement — not just shipping features, and of setting strategy across multiple teams.
- Deep understanding of the end-to-end search pipeline: query interpretation → recall / candidate generation → ranking → reranking → personalization → delivery.
- Strong ML product depth — owning production models and reasoning about tradeoffs between high-capacity (LLM / batch) and low-latency (real-time) approaches — and a habit of staying current with state-of-the-art research.
- Fluency with retrieval and recall, query understanding (tokenization, synonyms, spelling correction, multilingual support), and search evaluation frameworks.
- A rigorous, measurement-first mindset that ties every quality investment back to business outcomes.
- Excellent cross-functional leadership — able to align teams with different goals behind a shared definition of quality and a shared set of business metrics, working shoulder-to-shoulder with engineering, data science, and ML Ops.
- Comfort operating with ambiguity, setting direction where none exists yet, and leading through clarity and credibility rather than the org chart.
BENEFITS
- Unlimited vacation time — we strongly encourage all of our employees to take at least 3 weeks per year.
- A competitive compensation package including stock options.
- Company-sponsored US health coverage (100% paid for employee).
- Fully remote team — choose where you live.
- Work-from-home stipend! We want you to have the resources you need to set up your home office.
- Apple laptops provided for new employees.
- Training and development budget for every employee, refreshed each year.
- Parental leave for qualified employees.
- Work with smart people who will help you grow and make a meaningful impact.

Constructor is a U.S. based company that has been in the market since 2019. It was founded by Eli Finkelshteyn and Dan McCormick who still lead the company today.
About the Position
We're looking for a proactive and highly organized Technical Project Manager to lead customer implementations across Constructor's product suite. You will lead onboardings for new customers as well as implementations of additional products for existing customers, owning each engagement from kickoff through activation. You will own the plan, the timeline, and the outcome, and you drive the people delivering it through a matrixed reporting structure. As we build toward an automation-first operating model, you will help standardize how implementations are run and increasingly act as a portfolio strategist, managing exceptions while repeatable, AI-assisted processes carry the routine work.
You will:
• Lead multiple implementations end to end, both new-customer onboardings and additional-product rollouts for existing customers, from kickoff through integration, testing, and activation.
• Take accountability for the outcome of every implementation, coordinating Constructor resources, customer resources, and partners, against a single shared plan.
• Run kickoffs, set milestones, track dependencies, and maintain a clear, shared view of status for internal stakeholders and the customer.
• Serve as the customer's primary point of contact through activation, setting expectations and communicating progress, risks, and changes in scope.
• Identify risks and blockers early, escalate effectively, and keep implementations moving toward on-time, predictable delivery.
• Ensure clean handoffs into implementation from Sales and out of implementation to Customer Success and Support.
• Maintain implementation plans and reporting in our systems of record so schedule, duration, and status roll up cleanly across your portfolio.
• Help build the repeatable processes, templates, and standards that let the function scale, and partner on the automation-first model as it matures.
Role Responsibilities: Technical Project Management
• Own the Outcome: Be accountable for the success of each implementation from kickoff to activation, whether the work is delivered by Constructor, the customer, or a partner, standing behind on-time, predictable go-live for both new customers and existing-customer product rollouts.
• Drive Every Contributor: Coordinate Constructor technical resources, customer resources, and partners against one plan, holding each accountable to their commitments through influence rather than authority.
• Lead the Customer Experience: Serve as the primary point of contact through activation, running a clear communication rhythm and building customer confidence from kickoff to handoff.
• Manage Handoffs & Risk: Ensure accurate handoffs from Sales into implementation and from implementation into Customer Success and Support, surfacing risk early and keeping delivery on track wherever the risk sits.
• Build Scalable Process: Standardize how implementations are run at Constructor, maintain accurate tracking and reporting, and help advance the automation-first operating model as the function grows.
Requirements
You Have
• At least 3 years of technical project management or onboarding project management experience, ideally in a SaaS environment.
• A track record of owning delivery outcomes end to end and holding cross-functional contributors accountable through influence rather than direct authority.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to run multiple implementations in parallel without losing the thread.
• Customer-facing confidence: you can lead a kickoff, manage expectations, and keep stakeholders aligned through go-live.
• Proven ability to prioritize effectively, manage competing demands, and maintain clarity under ambiguity.
Nice to Have
• Technical fluency sufficient to direct integration specialists and translate between technical and business stakeholders.
• Exposure to ecommerce, product discovery, LLMs and familiarity with concepts like catalog data feeds, integrations and APIs.
• Experience coordinating implementations that span internal teams, customer resources, and third-party partners.

In this role, you’ll turn Sales, Demand Gen, and ABM goals into campaigns that reach the right people at the right stage and build pipeline. Execution and Quality Assurance
- Build paid social campaigns end-to-end, including creative strategy, bidding, ad copy, and audiences.
- Run rigorous QA across copy, assets, campaign structure, audiences, and UTMs before anything goes live.
- Partner with our EMEA team to localize global campaigns for their markets.
- Track tasks, requests, and SLAs in Asana so work stays visible and on schedule.
Audience Targeting and Management
- Own audience list hygiene and targeting across platforms.
- Build audiences from first- and third-party data.
- Manage pixels and primary vs. secondary conversion architecture, so campaigns optimize toward the actions that matter most.
Budget Pacing and Management
- Manage budgets against lead volume, lead quality, conversion, pipeline, and ROI.
- Own pacing and anomaly detection, and keep documented budget pacing up to date.
Testing & Optimization
- Run structured tests on audiences, creative, landing pages, copy, and bidding.
- Run ongoing search query analysis and keyword optimization.
- Lead weekly cross‑channel optimization syncs.
Reporting
- Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting that pairs results with clear recommendations.
- Lead campaign hindsights that capture what drove results, what we learned, and what to do next.
- Stay current on platform changes, privacy, and B2B trends.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of hands-on paid media experience, ideally within a media agency or performance‑focused environment
- Hands-on experience building and optimizing social campaigns within LinkedIn and Meta, ideally with a focus in lead generation

About the Role
You will be the person who makes our AI better at selling. You will read its conversations, notice what is working and what is not, and change the instructions it follows so the next thousand conversations go better.
You do not need to know everything on day one. We will teach you our tools, our playbooks and how to write and test prompts. What we cannot teach is the instinct for conversations, a feel for sales, and the curiosity to dig into the data and ask why.
What You'll Do
Review AI-drafted text messages each day, and approve, edit or rewrite them before they send.
Spot patterns across conversations, such as an opener that gets replies but no orders, and figure out the cause.
Update each brand's prompts and playbook to fix problems at the source, then test the change before it goes live.
Respond to brand requests and turn them into playbook updates.
Help launch new brands: deep research on their brand, write the persona and opening messages, and check that offers work.
Run and track A/B tests, and report what won.
Requirements
You read people well. From one text you can tell whether a shopper is ready to buy, has a question, or is done, and you reply the way a real person would.
You have sales instinct. You answer an objection and then ask for the sale, without arguing or pushing the customer away.
You are curious about data. You can open a table of conversations and ask the right questions: how many, compared to what, at which brand, since when. You notice when a number looks off and go find out why.
You fix the cause, not the symptom. When the AI says something wrong, you look for the reason (a missing fact, a vague rule, two rules that conflict) and fix the instruction so it does not happen again.
You are comfortable with AI tools. You use ChatGPT, Claude or similar tools regularly and understand that how you ask shapes what you get back.
You are online. These are live conversations. You are responsive during working hours and quick to pick things up in Slack.
You learn fast and like feedback. You pick up new tools quickly and want to get better each week.
Nice to Have
Experience in sales (SDR, BDR, retail or any role with a close rate), customer support, or live chat.
Experience at a DTC brand or ecommerce agency.
Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, Postscript or similar tools.
Spreadsheet skills, or basic SQL.
Something you have built or automated with AI on your own.
What We'll Teach You
Our console, approval queue and playbook system.
How to write, test and ship prompt changes.
Shopify basics, discount codes and how they combine.
How we run and read A/B tests.

We are a recruiting partner representing
three leading, fast-growing e-commerce retention agencies
currently scaling their teams. By applying to this single role, you will be considered for three distinct agency dynamics depending on your background and career goals:
They are looking for experienced
Lifecycle & Retention Growth Strategists
who can take ownership of customer retention, lifecycle marketing, and growth initiatives.
The Enterprise Scale Agency:
Best for strategists who love global teams, structured multi-person account pods, and managing high-profile global brand portfolios.

This is a strategic, hands-on role for someone who understands how to turn customer and performance data into actions that improve revenue, retention, engagement, and customer lifetime value.
Depending on the client, your scope may include email and SMS marketing, lifecycle automation, retention strategy, subscription growth, customer journeys, experimentation, and cross-functional team leadership.
Key responsibilities
Own lifecycle and retention strategy across email, SMS, subscription, and other customer touchpoints based on business needs.
Analyze customer, campaign, retention, and revenue data to identify opportunities and determine what should be tested or optimized.
Develop and execute experiments around offers, messaging, segmentation, customer journeys, subscription conversion, retention, and lifecycle engagement.
Build and optimize lifecycle programs, including campaigns, automated flows, onboarding, post-purchase, winback, cancellation/save journeys, and other retention initiatives.
Translate data and customer behavior into clear strategic recommendations and actionable plans.
Own performance against key business outcomes such as revenue, retention, customer lifetime value, subscription take rate, churn, or lifecycle program performance.
Work directly with clients, founders, or senior stakeholders to present performance, recommendations, and strategic priorities.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including copywriters, designers, project managers, developers, and other marketing specialists.
Provide clear briefs, direction, feedback, and quality control to ensure execution aligns with strategy and brand requirements.
Troubleshoot lifecycle marketing, CRM, subscription, or customer journey issues and provide practical solutions.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and workflows, including the use of AI and automation where appropriate.
Monitor account/customer health and proactively identify risks, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
Help build scalable playbooks, processes, and best practices that improve lifecycle and retention performance across the business.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, retention marketing, CRM, growth marketing, email/SMS marketing, subscription growth, or a closely related field.
Strong understanding of DTC/ecommerce, consumer, subscription, or digital businesses and how customer retention contributes to revenue and profitability.
Proven experience using data to make strategic marketing or growth decisions rather than simply executing predefined campaigns.
Strong experience with lifecycle marketing platforms such as Klaviyo or comparable CRM/marketing automation tools.
Hands-on understanding of customer segmentation, automated journeys/flows, retention programs, experimentation, and performance optimization.
Experience owning measurable business outcomes such as revenue, retention, churn, LTV, conversion, subscription growth, or lifecycle performance.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate performance data into clear recommendations and next actions.
Comfortable working directly with clients, founders, CMOs, or senior stakeholders and communicating recommendations with confidence.
Strong project ownership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities without losing attention to detail.
Able to work cross-functionally and direct or collaborate with creative, project management, development, and marketing teams.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills suitable for client-facing work.
Self-directed, commercially minded, proactive, and comfortable operating in fast-moving environments.
Strong attention to detail and ownership mentality; you check your own work and take responsibility for outcomes, not just assigned tasks.
Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude to improve marketing workflows, analysis, content development, or operational efficiency is a plus.
Benefits
Competitive USD compensation based on experience and client requirements.
Remote flexibility – work from anywhere while collaborating with international teams.
Opportunities to work with international companies across ecommerce, DTC, subscription, and digital businesses.
High-ownership roles with exposure to strategy, experimentation, and business growth.
