LEAP Program Description
Global Solutions Ventures (GSV) – a joint-venture partnership between ZemiTek, LLC and Dexis Consulting Group – is implementing the Long-term Exceptional Technical Assistance Project (LEAP Global), a mechanism originally used by USAID to battle against infectious diseases such as malaria, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, neglected tropical diseases, and pandemic influenza. As of July 1, 2025, LEAP Global transitioned to the U.S. Department of State (DOS). This initiative aims to address the complex human resource challenges faced by national infectious disease programs in the USA-supported countries.
The intervention of this project is to hire and embed technical expert advisors and subject matter experts within government entities. By directly embedding the technical expertise within the national programs, LEAP provides long-term, sustainable lifesaving support to empower host governments to lead and manage key aspects of their infectious disease portfolios and improve coordination between the U.S. Government and the host country.
About the Position
The Senior Malaria Advisor will support the National Malaria Program in carrying out life-saving humanitarian assistance (LHA) in full alignment with the new Presidential Executive Order (EO) directives. The primary focus of the Advisor will be technical leadership to ensure the successful implementation of cost-effective, lifesaving direct service delivery for malaria prevention and treatment.
The Senior Malaria Advisor will provide expert malaria technical guidance to the National Malaria Program (NMP) and the Ministry of Health in the design and management of in-country programs/projects/activities and in the development of host-country policies, reflecting best practices in malaria prevention and control. The jobholder will identify programmatic bottlenecks and facilitate solutions through coordinated technical expertise in support of the cooperating country’s development objectives. The Senior Malaria Advisor will be based at the NMP within the Ministry of Health (MOH). The Advisor will receive day-to-day direction from the National Malaria Program Manager, who will serve as the onsite Manager/Supervisor. The Advisor will report to the U.S. Department of State on a weekly and monthly basis, as described below.
Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
Provide expert malaria technical guidance to advance planning and implementation of malaria control interventions.
Support the development of national malaria program strategies and work plans.
Coordinate the design, planning and implementation of malaria prevention and control activities consistent with the US government’s strategy and with the NMP. This will include but is not limited to vector control, case management at facility and community level, chemoprevention, support for malaria vaccine implementation, malaria in pregnancy, procurement and delivery of life-saving commodities, and associated monitoring and surveillance to ensure accountability and track progress.
Together with the host country partners, provide the technical and managerial expertise to MOH health districts and local communities to strengthen institutional capacity.
Keep abreast of current developments and successful interventions via regular engagement with malaria experts (domestic and international) and NMP officials, ensuring proven strategies and interventions are integrated in national malaria programming.
Management of Program/Activity Implementation
Ensure that U.S. government resources are maximized towards achievement of sustained results in malaria in line with U.S. government laws, regulations, policies, and procedures to prevent fraud, waste and abuse.
Provide technical support to the Department of State implementing partners and managerial support as needed during the planning, design and implementation phases to ensure the quality of interventions and programmatic targets are met.
Recommend changes in strategic and/or implementation approaches, using analysis of program performance.
Work with partners (in country and global, as relevant) to ensure that programmatic commodities are purchased in a timely and cost-effective manner; and that absorptive capacity exists in implementation sites to receive, manage and distribute these items effectively. Participate in forecasting and quantification meetings to inform malaria commodity quantifications that will guide donor procurements. Troubleshoot bottlenecks in the ordering and delivery process.
Provide expert advice and practical experience in helping the MoH, the NMP and other partners to monitor inputs, outputs and outcomes, and report on the program’s overall impact.
If not already in existence, work with the NMP and other partners to develop and maintain a monitoring and evaluation plan to be implemented through existing MoH systems and existing USG supported mechanisms. Carry out monitoring and evaluation visits to implementation sites to ascertain all quantitative and qualitative data is collected properly, and programmatic quality and value for money are maintained.
Coordination of Malaria Partners
Ensure effective communication and coordination between the NMP, MoH and other partners related to malaria prevention and control; Global Fund partners including other departments in the host country; donor agencies; and other stakeholders working on malaria control in the host country, as appropriate.
Ensure malaria activities are integrated into overall U.S. Department of State-supported health activities and coordinate these activities with the NMP and MoH to avoid duplication of effort and programming gaps.
Coordinate with other partners and support efforts to address malaria control delivery gaps and help build technical and managerial capacity within the NMP at the national, district and lower levels.
Participate in and contribute to malaria related service delivery meetings hosted by the NMP and others.
Communications:
Regular conference calls with NMP, partners, US Embassy and Washington to review progress, discuss activities and address emerging issues.
The Senior Malaria Advisor should provide information and avail him/herself for calls/meetings with the US Embassy as requested.

As AI continues to shape the way we live and work, Synthesia develops products to enhance visual communication and enterprise skill development, helping people work better and stay at the center of successful organizations.
Following our recent Series E funding round, where we raised $200 million, our valuation stands at $4 billion. Our total funding exceeds $530 million from premier investors including Accel, NVentures (Nvidia's VC arm), Kleiner Perkins, GV, and Evantic Capital, alongside the founders and operators of Stripe, Datadog, Miro, and Webflow.
The Role
We’re hiring Solutions Engineers to build Synthesia’s pre-sales function in North America. This is a founding role: you’ll be one of the first SEs, shaping the playbook, tooling and best practices as we scale, not following an established model. If you’re someone who is excited by building while scaling, we’d love to hear from you.
As a Solutions Engineer at Synthesia, you will partner with Account Executives, Customer Success and Product Marketing to run discovery, deliver demos, scope POCs and design the technical solution for each deal. You will be a trusted advisor focused on the value customers get from Synthesia, and you’ll take what you learn in the field back to Product.
This is an incredible opportunity to join us as we become a multi-product company for the first time, and continue to scale across North America.
What You’ll Do
- Co-plan and support discovery calls with your AE to understand customer requirements, technical environment, and business challenges.
- Design and execute repeatable demo methodologies that prove Synthesia’s business value quickly, whether the customer is deploying Studio at scale, building Roleplay Sessions for skill uplift, or integrating Interactive Avatars into their product.
- Build and maintain strong working knowledge of Synthesia’s platform capabilities, roadmap, and positioning across all product lines, so you can speak to the use cases that drive value.
- Deliver demonstrations that speak to customer problems and tell a credible story of why Synthesia is the right solution.
- Identify technical objections and integration questions as they come up, working with your AE and the broader ecosystem to find a path forward.
- Contribute your assessment of technical fit and opportunity risk to help your AE shape account and deal strategy.
- Keep your deal team and manager informed on deal status, timeline, and technical dependencies.
- Identify, build relationships with, and actively enable technical champions within customer organizations so they can advocate for Synthesia internally.
- Provide technical guidance on platform capabilities, API and SDK integrations, security, compliance topics (SOC 2, GDPR, enterprise identity), and scalability for global deployments, troubleshooting issues and validating integrations with LMS, HCM, and content systems as they surface.
- Partner with Enablement to complete certifications, stay current on new releases, and keep your demo and objection-handling skills sharp.
We’d love to hear from you if you have
- 2+ years of pre-sales, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical experience in a SaaS environment (or equivalent technical customer-facing experience).
- Delivers a strong standard demo aligned to the discovery points and agenda set with the AE, with a solid grasp of core demo technique (e.g., Tell-Show-Tell).
- Applies established solution designs and best practices to the customer’s use case, working with core ecosystem functions (Product, Customer Success) as the deal requires.
- Identifies and surfaces deal risk and next steps based on what the customer tells you, escalating clearly to your AE so it gets actioned.
- Working knowledge of MEDDPICC and Command of the Message, and can articulate why Synthesia is a fit for the prospect.
- Resourceful: knows how to find the right person or tool internally, and is building their own network across the GTM organization.
- Comfortable with the technical fundamentals in at least one area (creation flows, APIs, integrations, security, compliance) and eager to build depth quickly.
- Self-motivated and organized, able to manage a growing book of POCs, demos, and customer conversations while hitting deadlines.
- Willing to travel for customer discovery and on-site demos as needed.
- You like staying ahead of the AI-native learning and enablement space, so you can credibly discuss how customers are shifting from static methods to interactive practice and measurable skill development.
- Strong written and spoken communication in English.
We’d be particularly excited if
- You have previous experience as an AE.
- You have experience with video AI.

Company Description
We’re http://checkout.comCheckout.com http://Checkout.com. You might not know our name, but companies like eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony do, because we’re behind many of the digital experiences you use every day.
We are where the world checks out, enabling over 10 billion transactions yearly for more than one billion global shoppers.
Whether you want to book a holiday, order food, renew a subscription, or check out online, there’s a good chance our tech powers the payments behind the scenes. Our platform helps the most ambitious businesses deliver effortless digital experiences, at scale.
If you want to do career-defining work, you’ve come to the right place. We move fast, think globally, and believe great teams are built by hiring exceptional people with conviction, curiosity, and the desire to make an impact.
With 20 offices across six continents and London as our HQ, we’re shaping the future of fintech – and we’re just getting started.
The Role
Every payment we process runs on infrastructure we built. At Checkout.com http://Checkout.com, the Cloud Platform team owns the cloud foundations that global payments depend on: a large multi-account AWS estate, a growing Azure platform, and the networking and connectivity that reaches card schemes and banks worldwide. We are genuinely multi-cloud, and we are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer who is too - a strong generalist who treats infrastructure as a software problem and can deliver from week one.
This is a hands-on senior role in an established, fast-moving team. Everything we run is defined in code, deployed through pipelines, and reviewed like software. You will bring deep cloud expertise across AWS and Azure and pair it with a genuine software engineering mindset: you write Terraform modules others build on, you automate away toil rather than documenting it, and you treat the platform as a product with users, SLOs, and a roadmap.
As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you are responsible for the technical delivery of your team's services. You will work closely with your Engineering Manager to shape direction, manage dependencies across pillars, and ensure our platform meets the standards a regulated payments business demands.
What we are looking for:
Deep AWS expertise: Advanced, hands-on experience designing and operating production infrastructure in AWS at enterprise scale: multi-account architectures (Control Tower, Organizations, SCPs), IAM, KMS, and the core compute, storage, and security services that a large regulated estate runs on. You should have a proven track record of delivering resilient, multi-region architectures.
Azure experience: Real production experience with Azure alongside AWS: landing zones, VNet architectures, Entra ID, and the Azure resource and governance model. You understand where the two clouds differ and can design well for both rather than forcing one cloud's patterns onto the other.
Software engineering mindset: You treat infrastructure as software. Expert-level Terraform: reusable modules, secure state management, and disciplined code review. You are comfortable in a Git-based workflow with CI/CD (we use Spacelift), and you reach for Python or similar to automate what others would handle with a runbook. No ClickOps.
Strong cloud networking: Confident designing and debugging in a complex network estate: VPC and VNet design, hub-and-spoke and Transit Gateway or Cloud WAN architectures, DNS, private connectivity (PrivateLink, Private Link), and enough routing knowledge to own connectivity issues end to end rather than escalate them.
Kubernetes: Solid experience running containerised workloads in production, ideally on EKS/AKS: cluster lifecycle, workload deployment patterns, and the operational realities of keeping Kubernetes healthy at scale.
Security and compliance awareness: Experience operating in regulated environments. You understand why change control, least privilege, and auditability matter, and you design controls in rather than bolting them on. Familiarity with PCI DSS is a strong plus.
Engineering excellence: A focus on observability and measurement: you instrument what you build and answer operational questions with data rather than opinion.
Leadership and mentorship: A natural ability to guide and mentor peers, translate ambiguous problem definitions into actionable technical plans, and raise the bar through your code and your reviews.
Pragmatic problem solver: You understand when to move fast (creating tech debt) and when to move right (paying it off). You are a cornerstone in incident resolution and root-cause analysis.
Experience: 5+ years in cloud engineering roles with significant AWS depth. We need someone who can hit the ground running: comfortable joining a complex, established estate and delivering meaningful work in their first weeks, not their first quarter. A degree in Computer Science or a related field is useful but not required; we care about what you can build.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Lead Design & Delivery: Take ownership of large-scale platform projects end to end, from architecture through Terraform to production, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and cost-optimised.
Build the paved road: Design the platform primitives that every product team at Checkout.com http://Checkout.com builds on, so that the secure path is also the easy path.
Architectural Influence: Work with Engineering Managers and architects to refine requirements and shape the technical direction of the platform, documenting significant decisions as ADRs.
Operational SME: Act as the Subject Matter Expert for numerous team-owned services, providing advanced operational support and ensuring high availability for our global payment systems.
Evangelise Best Practices: Produce exemplary code and documentation that inspires others. You will be responsible for spreading best practices and standards across your group.
Manage Dependencies: Navigate the organisation to manage technical dependencies inside and outside your pillar, optimising for both delivery speed and business outcomes.
Foster Culture: Embody Checkout Operating Principles, using them to shape the group’s culture and acting as an example of efficiency and professional excellence.
AI Integration: Proactively explore and implement AI-driven automation to enhance infrastructure efficiency and team productivity.

Location: London, United Kingdom - Deliveroo
Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation and growth drive everything we do.
Our Engineering teams tackle complex technical challenges across a global, three-sided marketplace, building and scaling systems that serve millions of customers, riders and merchants every day. From real-time logistics to resilient infrastructure and marketplace optimisation, we design, build and operate technology that powers Deliveroo’s (& Doordash’s) growth at scale.
We’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Event Streaming Systems team. This is a hybrid role.
In this role, you’ll provide technical leadership for the event streaming infrastructure that powers business-critical workflows across Deliveroo, DoorDash and Wolt. You’ll help define the long-term direction of our messaging and streaming platforms, lead high-impact technical initiatives across teams, and raise the reliability, scalability and operational excellence bar for Tier-0 infrastructure.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be joining the Event Streaming Systems team within the broader Storage organisation. The team builds and operates highly reliable, scalable and efficient event streaming infrastructure, including Kafka, Event Streaming abstractions (internally called EventBus), messaging platform capabilities, and future streaming technologies. The team also partners closely with Database Reliability, Storage, SRE, Data Platform and Core Infrastructure teams to ensure our most critical data and messaging systems remain reliable, operable and cost-efficient at global scale.
These systems support Tier-0 workflows and are foundational to how engineering teams build reliable, event-driven products at scale.
Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
Define and drive the technical vision and roadmap for our event streaming and messaging platforms, balancing reliability, scalability, cost, operability and developer experience.
Lead team-level and cross-team initiatives for Kafka, EventBus and related streaming infrastructure, from ambiguous problem definition through architecture, delivery, rollout and adoption.
Act as a trusted technical advisor for Kafka, messaging, storage-adjacent and DBRE-related platform decisions across Deliveroo, DoorDash and Wolt.
Design durable, extensible systems and platform capabilities that can be leveraged by other engineers and teams, reducing duplicated effort and operational risk.
Lead the resolution of complex distributed systems problems, including reliability incidents, performance bottlenecks, capacity constraints, data-safety risks and production-operability gaps.
Raise the operational excellence bar for Tier-0 infrastructure through observability, automation, incident response, runbooks, operational readiness and continuous improvement.
Proactively build alignment with partner teams, including EventBus, Storage, DBRE, SRE, Data Platform and Core Infrastructure, shaping joint goals and mitigating cross-org delivery risks.
Mentor and grow engineers through technical guidance, design, feedback, code review, incident review facilitation and knowledge-sharing across the engineering community.
Evaluate emerging streaming, storage and automation technologies, including AI-enabled operational tooling where appropriate, and champion pragmatic adoption where they can materially improve quality, velocity or efficiency.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
Our ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in several of these areas and the judgment to lead others through ambiguity:
Significant experience building, operating and evolving distributed systems in production, ideally for platform or infrastructure teams supporting critical workloads.
Deep hands-on experience with Kafka or comparable event streaming systems as a platform, infrastructure service or business-critical production dependency.
Strong technical leadership skills, with a track record of defining technical direction, shaping roadmaps and leading multi-engineer or cross-team initiatives.
Ability to make and own technical decisions in ambiguous situations, using data, operational signals, customer needs and long-term system health to guide tradeoffs.
Strong coding ability in Java, Go, Python or similar languages, with a focus on reliable, maintainable, observable and scalable production systems.
Experience improving production reliability through automation, observability, capacity management, incident response, operational readiness and sustainable on-call practices.
Strong distributed systems fundamentals, including Linux, networking, storage, JVM-based systems, fault tolerance, backpressure, capacity planning and performance tuning.
A force-multiplier mindset: you create leverage through reusable technical foundations, clear documentation, strong engineering practices, mentoring and removing single points of failure.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence platform, infrastructure, product and reliability teams without relying on authority.
Nice to have
Experience contributing to Kafka or related open source distributed systems.
Experience with Redpanda, WarpStream, AutoMQ, Pulsar or similar streaming technologies.
Experience with JVM tuning, diskless streaming architectures or multi-region event streaming platforms.
Experience operating Tier-0 infrastructure at large scale, including incident leadership and post-incident improvement programs.
Experience with database reliability, storage systems, data platforms or DBRE practices in addition to event streaming.
Experience using automation or AI-assisted operational tooling to improve reliability, developer experience or incident response quality.
Why Join Us?
At Deliveroo (Doordash), you’ll do work that matters, solving real-world problems in a three-sided marketplace that’s constantly evolving.
We’re food lovers, problem solvers, community builders and more, brought together by a shared drive to make things better.
Working here you can expect to:
🔧 Solve meaningful problems at real scale. Work on complex, always-on infrastructure that impacts millions every day.
🌱 See your impact, fast. Shape the direction of foundational platforms used by teams across Deliveroo, DoorDash and Wolt.
🧠 Grow through challenge and ownership. Lead ambiguous, high-impact technical problems with strong support from peers and leaders.

Workplace: Hybrid
adjoe builds the technologies behind mobile apps growth and monetization. With our core product Playtime Arcade, we've become the global leader in rewarded advertising, an ad unit built on a simple premise: users earn real in-app rewards for engaging with new apps. The result is one of the most effective value exchanges in adtech, connecting advertisers and publishers with over 770 million users annually.
Architecting the sub-millisecond decision engine that powers 200 million daily ad interactions
The Demand Core team and backend platform squads build the foundational infrastructure that determines which of our thousands of active advertising campaigns are relevant to a user the moment they open Playtime. At our scale, system latency is a business failure: downtime means advertisers stop spending, users stop earning rewards, and publisher revenue stalls. As a Staff Backend Developer, you will own the architectural integrity, reliability, and long-term evolution of the distributed systems that power these decisions 200 million times every day across multiple teams.
Go microservices load the active ad campaign catalog into memory, evaluating 40+ targeting constraints and 30+ real-time signals like geo, fraud status, budget caps, to rank potential user performance in milliseconds. Beyond individual services, you will define architectural patterns across the entire ad interaction chain: high-throughput processing of clicks, views, MMP postbacks from Adjust and AppsFlyer, and reward-triggering in-app events. You will govern our hybrid messaging architecture using SNS/SQS and Kafka, standardize backend data patterns across DynamoDB, relational, and analytical data stores, and ensure our core ad scoring pipelines remain resilient under massive load.
Your Mission & Who We Are Looking For:
- Production Golang Systems & Architecture Mastery: You bring extensive backend development experience (7+ years, with deep production Go expertise in distributed environments). You will define service boundaries, concurrency models, and runtime optimizations for our +99% Go microservice architecture, scaling the platform reliably beyond hundreds of millions of monthly active users.
- High-Throughput Event Streaming & Architecture Patterns: You have deep experience architecting and standardizing asynchronous microservice communication using event backbones like Kafka, SQS/SNS, and Kinesis. You will establish org-wide streaming standards, schema evolution, and CDC patterns to process billions of daily API events and aggregate them into our data lake for sub-second querying.
- Large-Scale Data Architecture & Platform Optimization: You understand database internals, distributed storage trade-offs, and low-level web standards. You will standardize data patterns (sharding, replication, DR) across hundreds of terabytes in DynamoDB, MySQL, Druid, and Athena, while leading high-stakes, zero-downtime database migrations and deprecations.
- Data Science & Algorithmic Integration at Scale: You quickly grasp complex technical topics, distributed systems trade-offs, and applied mathematics. You will partner with our Data Science team to architect the runtime infrastructure that serves predictive models and machine learning algorithms directly within our sub-millisecond real-time ad targeting engine.
- Technical Leadership & Organizational Leverage: You communicate fluently and precisely in spoken and written English. You drive alignment across squads through RFCs and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), define org-level SLIs/SLOs, sponsor major technical migrations, and mentor Senior engineers across an international engineering team.
- Plus: Cloud Resilience & Tooling: Hands-on experience with continuous profiling (e.g., Pyroscope, goroutine dumps), chaos engineering drills, and infrastructure automation using Terraform, Kubernetes, or AWS cloud networking.
🌎 We welcome applications from talent worldwide and provide relocation support to Hamburg, Germany for those ready to join our team.
What’s in It for You?
At adjoe, you’re not here to just close JIRA tickets, you’re shaping the architectural foundation behind one of the most impactful platforms in adtech. The systems and patterns you design will reach hundreds of millions of users and power billions of decisions every day.
- Go Big. Own the technical direction and platform architecture with impact on 770M users and push adtech boundaries.
- Move Fast. Ship solutions multiple times a day, establish golden paths that unlock engineering speed, and keep momentum.
- Be Direct. Solve complex architectural bottlenecks openly and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Thrive Together. Grow with and elevate a diverse, global team of engineers from over 40 different countries that learn from each other.
- Have Fun. Celebrate wins, solve hard computer science challenges, and bring your energy.
We welcome applications from people who will contribute to the diversity of our company.

Growth and Data Analysis:
Define metrics around qualified new users, first on-chain interactions, activity, retention, and partner-project growth. Evaluate performance using on-chain and product data, and continuously optimize participation requirements, incentive mechanisms, and operational investment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with global Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Data, and regional teams to turn user feedback into product and operational improvements, ensuring a seamless connection between campaigns and the product experience.
What We Look For In You
Experience in Web3 ecosystem operations, user growth, community operations, or campaign operations. Able to provide complete case studies of projects personally led, with verifiable results.
Long-term, hands-on participation in the on-chain ecosystem. Proficient in using wallets, DEXs, cross-chain bridges, and mainstream DApps; understands core concepts such as token approvals, gas fees, slippage, and liquidity; and can independently conduct product-experience and user-journey analysis.
Familiarity with on-chain users and their communities. Understands behavioral differences among trading-focused, DeFi-focused, and task-driven users, and can distinguish short-term, incentive-driven participation from needs that support sustained usage.
Understanding of public blockchain ecosystem-building dynamics, including project onboarding, application distribution, user acquisition, liquidity, and communities. Able to design partnership proposals that create value for both project teams and users.
Proven experience independently planning and executing campaigns. Able to clearly articulate campaign objectives, target audience, mechanics, budget, execution process, and final outcomes, and propose improvements based on post-campaign reviews.
Strong data mindset, with the ability to analyze operational conversion funnels, user retention, and campaign costs. Accountable for genuine user growth and business outcomes.
Strong communication, project-management, and execution skills; able to drive projects in a fast-paced, globally distributed, cross-functional environment. Professional English communication and copywriting skills are required to work effectively with international projects, communities, and internal stakeholders.
